One day, Ember joins her human family for a get-together they've planned with Gwen's former assistant Akilah and her husband Elijah. The Hopewells drive over to their apartment where they have taken residence in the penthouse. They arrive to their front door and Gwen knocked on the door. The door opens and Akilah is present.

"Gwen!" Akilah happily exclaimed.

"Akilah!" Gwen happily exclaimed.

They both embrace each other as the Hopewells enter the penthouse. Elijah comes to greet the family.

"Shalom to you all." Elijah greeted.

Clarence and Elijah embrace each other.

"Children! The Hopewells are here! Come on down!" Akilah called upstairs.

Just then, three children come downstairs, one boy and two girls.

"If you don't remember, this is Isaac." Elijah introduced the 12-year-old eldest son.

"Of course, we do. Hey Isaac." Gwen greeted.

"Shalom, Mrs. and Mr. Hopewell. Shalom Joy, Timothy, Ember." Isaac greeted the children then he looked at Priscilla and blushed.

"And shalom Priscilla." Isaac greeted.

"Hey, Isaac." Priscilla said and chuckled awkwardly.

"And here is Calista." Elijah introduced their 8-year-old daughter.

"Salam." Calista greeted, waved to the family and smiled.

"You remember Kayla?" Akilah introduced the youngest 4-year-old daughter.

"Oh, yes. She and Joy are best friends and are in the same playgroup together." Gwen answered.

"Have you brought the new addition to your family?" Akilah asked.

"Yes, we have. Everyone, this is Noah." Gwen introduced as she showed the Rosenbergs her baby son.

"Aw, he is so cute!" Akilah exclaimed.

Gwen allows Akilah to hold Noah, and she soothes him.

The Hopewell and Rosenberg children all go upstairs to play while the adults socialized with each other. In the playroom, Kayla and Joy each play with their toys. Joy brought over her rainbow teddy bear and Kayla showed her girl-doll plushie. Ember, Priscilla and Calista played dolls with each other while Isaac and Timothy played toy cars with each other.

"How's it going Calista?" Priscilla asked.

"Nothing new. Just the same." Calista answered.

"I heard you won the spelling bee at your school. Congratulations." Ember said.

"Thanks, Ember. It was nothing really." Calista said.

"I'll bet that took hours of studying to win." Priscilla said.

"Yeah. It did." Calista said.

Meanwhile, Timothy and Isaac were playing with their toy cars.

"How's it goin' Tim?" Isaac asked.

"Well, I'm not the only boy in my family anymore." Timothy answered.

"I saw that Noah is finally born." Isaac said.

"Yeah. So, when are you gonna ask her?" Timothy asked.

"I'm working on it. But I keep chickening out. I don't know if she'll say 'yes' to go to our first dance with me. I mean, Priscilla deserves better than Gary Greaser." Isaac admitted.

"Yeah. He really broke her heart. But ended up getting what he deserved." Timothy said, remembering the Devil punishing Gary.

"Oh, yes. He's not a very nice guy." Isaac said.

Meanwhile, Joy and Kayla were playing with their toys.

"You like your little brother?" Kayla asked.

"I do now. I thought he was replacing me until Ember's daddy told me he wasn't and having a little brother is a special thing." Joy said, remembering the time she ran away from home until the Devil and Henchman found her with Ember's help.

"That's wonderful Joy. You're gonna be a great sister to him." Kayla complimented.

"Thank you, Kayla." Joy thanked.

"Children! Dinnertime!" Akilah called.

All seven children join their parents for dinner. Akilah and Elijah serve beef brisket with challah bread, latkes and fried artichokes. For dessert, they dine on jelly doughnuts.

"That was a wonderful dinner, Akilah and Elijah." Gwen complimented.

"Yeah." Clarence agreed.

"Shkran lak." Akilah thanked in Arabic.

"Toda." Elijah thanked in Hebrew.

"Alright we're gonna head out. I'll talk to you later." Gwen said as she and Clarence were putting on their coats.

Akilah hugs Gwen.

"Me too Gwen. All of this wouldn't have been possible if it weren't for you." Akilah said, forever grateful to Gwen for her happier life.

Clarence and Elijah hug as the kids hug each other goodbye then the Hopewells leave the penthouse and returned home.

Ember returned back to Hell to rejoin her father the Devil.

The next day at Priscilla and Timothy's school, Priscilla and Issac were in their 6th grade class. Calista is in 2nd grade class while Timothy is in 1st grade class.

After school, while Priscilla and Timothy waited for their mother to pick them up, Timothy noticed Priscilla upset about something.

"Uh, Pris? What's wrong?" Timothy asked.

"Nothing." Priscilla answered.

"Is that upcoming dance this Friday?" Timothy asked.

Priscilla sighed sadly.

"What does it matter Tim? Nobody has asked me. I'm not pretty enough like that stupid Pamela who Gary kissed at that party instead of me." Priscilla answered.

"But I thought the Devil helped you get past that. He punished Gary really good and got him grounded and he's still grounded." Timothy reminded her.

"Yeah, but I mean other boys. I don't wanna be a Plain Jane. Am I not beautiful enough?" Priscilla asked.

"What do you mean? You're already pretty. I think someone will ask you." Timothy said, knowing who wants to ask her to the dance.

"Thanks, little brother. But I doubt there's any chance of that. I need to be more beautiful. But how?" Priscilla asked herself.

Timothy sighed as they noticed their mother driving up to them to pick them up. Gwen drives the kids home. Pricilla looked out the window and thought for a moment. They arrive home at the farm and the family goes inside the house.

Priscilla was too sad to focus on her homework, which Gwen takes notice as she was feeding her infant son Noah.

"Priscilla, you've been distracted lately. Are you alright dear?" Gwen asked.

"I'm fine." Priscilla lied.

Gwen sits down next to Priscilla.

"Honey, you don't sound fine. Is it something to do with that upcoming dance this Friday?" Gwen asked.

Priscilla cringed, knowing she can't lie to her mother.

"Ugh! I don't feel beautiful enough for anyone to ask me! I'm a Plain Jane!" Priscilla finally confessed.

"What are you talking about? You are beautiful just the way you are. You have nothing to prove for that." Gwen assured her.

"I've gotten over Gary but I don't think anyone is gonna wanna go with someone like me. The other girls like Pamela are prettier than me." Priscilla said sadly.

"Honey stop it, that's not true. I believe someone will ask you. And you need to stop comparing yourself to other girls. You are something extra special." Gwen said.

Priscilla looked at her mother feeling unsure.

"When I was your age, I too felt what you were feeling. Not beautiful enough and nobody wanted to ask me to dances. But as I got older, I learned I needed to be patient, and I had to learn to love myself and not care about what others thought of me. Your uncles Cuphead and Mugman taught me that because they loved me for being me. I never had to change a thing even with my magic." Gwen explained.

Priscilla thought for a moment and got an idea.

"Wow. Thanks mama." Priscilla thanked.

"No problem sweetie. Now, I believe Noah here is ready for his nappy wappy." Gwen said as she got up from her chair and carried Noah upstairs.

Priscilla gets up and grabs a small mirror and tapped it.

"Ember? Ember?" Priscilla quietly asked.

Just then, Ember's face appeared in the mirror.

"Hey Pris. How you doing?" Ember asked.

"Not good." Priscilla answered.

"What's wrong?" Ember asked.

"The dance is this Friday and still nobody asked me. I don't feel beautiful enough." Priscilla said.

"That's not true. You're the prettiest 6th grader I know." Ember assured her.

"Thanks, but the others don't think so. That's why I was wondering if you can help me with that." Priscilla said.

"What do you mean?" Ember asked feeling confused.

"You know spells and magic, right? Whatever your dad's teaching you?" Priscilla asked.

Ember's eyes widened, knowing where this was going.

"Who's asking?" Ember asked.

"Do you maybe have a spell that could make me… beautiful?" Priscilla nervously asked.

"I don't know Pris. I don't think it's a good idea. My father would kill me if I used one of his forbidden spells." Ember warned.

"Just look in whatever spell book you have, or something then call me back and we'll talk more." Priscilla instructed.

"Ember! Time for training!" The Devil called.

"I gotta go! Bye!" Ember quickly said and disappeared from the mirror.

Priscilla sighed, then she resumed doing her homework.

Later that day, Ember was eating dinner with her father when he noticed Ember reading from his spell book.

"Ember? What did I say before?" The Devil reminded her.

"Oh, right. 'No reading during meals.'" Ember answered, pretending nothing was wrong.

"That's right. Now, put it away. You can study spells afterwards dear." The Devil said.

"Yes, father." Ember agreed as she put the spell book away.

They both finish eating dinner until it was time for their favorite radio show. After their show, the Devil looked at Ember.

"So, what spell are you on now?" The Devil asked.

Ember hesitated to answer but kept her cool.

"That beauty spell to make the 'victim' more beautiful than they don't think they are." Ember answered.

"Ooh, that's a dangerous spell for suckers who feel insecure about their looks. Too fat, too thin, too plain. You know what I mean." The Devil said.

Ember's eyes widened.

"What do you mean dangerous? I haven't finished reading it yet." Ember asked.

"Well, that spell would make the sucker beautiful, but it comes at a high cost." The Devil answered.

"W-what cost?" Ember nervously asked.

"The spell will take something from the user in return as payment. For example, if a dancer fellow orders that spell and tries to be the best handsome dancer but the spell will take his dance moves away as payment. That's how black magic works Ember. And suckering the customer into giving their soul for using it for their narcissistic purpose. They never think about the consequences of their decision." The Devil explained and laughed.

Ember's eyes popped, realizing the beauty spell was too risky for Priscilla.

"Wow, you're right father. That is a dangerous spell." Ember agreed.

"Of course I'm right. Now, it's getting late. Time for bed." The Devil said as he lifted Ember in his arms.

"Yes father." Ember agreed as she started to get sleepy.

The Devil magically brushes her teeth, change into her nightgown and tucks her in bed.

"Good night my little beautiful princess." The Devil said as he kissed her.

"Night, father." Ember said as she fell asleep.

Her demon kitten Umbra hops on her bed and snuggled on Ember's chest. The Devil pets her then leaves her bedroom.

Just then, Ember hears Priscilla's voice again.

"Ember! Ember!"

Ember groaned and woke up. She reached for her mirror and tapped it. Priscilla's face appeared in the mirror.

"What Pris? I'm trying to sleep!" Ember asked impatiently.

"Did you find a beauty spell yet?" Priscilla asked.

"I did but father warned me it's too dangerous." Ember answered.

"I don't care what it takes. I need to be more beautiful. Come in my room and you can cast the spell on me." Priscilla instructed.

"Pris, you don't understand..." Ember tried to explain.

"Perfect! You're the best sis! See you in a few!" Priscilla excitedly said then hung up.

Ember laid in bed in shock, not having a chance to warn Priscilla about the dangers of the spell. She grabs the spell book and prepares to teleport. Umbra leapt on the spell book, stopping Ember from going.

"What? It'll be quick." Ember quietly said.

Umbra shook her head, warning her not to go.

"I'm sorry, but Priscilla is desperate. She's always been there for me when I needed her. I can't let her down." Ember answered.

Umbra meowed sadly as Ember lifted her off the spell book.

"I'll be back in a minute." Ember said.

She teleports into Priscilla's room with the spell book.

"Perfect timing! Let's do it!" Priscilla quietly said.

"Pris, I need to warn you. This is a very dangerous spell. If I cast it on you, it's gonna take something from you in payment." Ember warned.

"I don't care what the cost is. Just do it!" Priscilla said, ignoring her warning.

Ember sighed, then she grabbed a mirror and a pink candle. She took a little snip of Priscilla's hair. Then, she opened the bedroom window as she made the moonlight shine on Priscilla. Then, she opened the spell book and recited the incantation.

"Moonshine, starlight, shape and mold her body, as a rose is granted beauty. Let her blossom in your light, the light that brings her beauty, and grant her beauty three times three."

Ember repeats the incantation three times and lit the pink candle. Priscilla looked at herself but noticed no change on her body.

"Uh, nothing's happening." Priscilla said.

"It doesn't happen right away. You just have to wait." Ember said.

"Oh, ok." Priscilla said.

"I gotta get back before father notices I've snuck out. Bye!" Ember said and disappeared back to Hell.

The next morning, Priscilla wakes up to get ready for school. When she looked in the mirror, she noticed something very different about her appearance. Her blond hair was longer and shinier. Her blue eyes sparkled like sapphires and her lips were pink as a rose.

"Wow! It worked! It really worked! Oh, thank you Ember!" Priscilla said excitedly.

"Priscilla! Come down for breakfast!" Clarence called.

"Be right there papa!" Priscilla called.

Priscilla made herself look like her usual self to hide her new appearance from her parents and joins them.

Meanwhile, Ember was in school with her friends wondering how Priscilla was doing with the spell she cast.

"I hope Pris is doing well with the beauty spell." Ember thought to herself.

Back at Priscilla's school, her classmates all took notice of Priscilla's new beautiful appearance. She is admired for her new appearance, even attracting all the boys in her grade. Issac however is concerned with Priscilla and her new appearance.

At recess, Priscilla enjoys the newfound attention with her two best friends.

"Oh, this is perfect! Everyone's staring at me, jealous of my new beauty!" Priscilla said excitedly.

"Yeah, but why did you make yourself beautiful? You were fine just the way you were." An anthropomorphic perfume bottle said.

"What do you mean Freesia Fragrance?" Priscilla asked.

"She means, you don't need to change yourself to make others like you." An anthropomorphic dragon fruit agreed.

"Really Kaida?" Priscilla asked.

"How did you do it?" Freesia asked.

"I had a little help from my sister." Priscilla answered.

"From Ember?" Kaida asked.

"Yeah. She's the best." Priscilla said.

"Oh. Well, let's rehearse our song for the dance. We're the opening performance." Freesia suggested.

"Good idea." Kaida agreed.

The three girls started singing when they suddenly noticed Priscilla's singing sounded horrid and croaking. Priscilla gasped in shock at her voice.

"Woah, what happened to your singing voice? It sounds like a toad." Freesia asked.

Priscilla's eyes widened, realizing Ember was right about the spell having a high cost.

"Oh no! Ember was right! I lost my singing voice!" Priscilla fearfully exclaimed.

"Priscilla calm down!" Freesia tried to calm her friend.

"What am I gonna do?! I can't be heard singing like this!" Priscilla said feeling panicked.

"Pris! Let's just take a deep breath and calm down." Kaida suggested.

Priscilla took a deep breath.

"There you go." Kaida complimented.

"I gotta contact Ember and make her to undo this! Especially if mama and papa find out, we're both grounded!" Priscilla said.

"Then do it." Freesia said.

Priscilla grabbed the mirror from her bag.

"Ember! Ember! Help!" Priscilla called.

Ember's face appeared in the mirror.

"What?! I'm at recess with my friends!" Ember asked impatiently.

"Help me! You were right! I lost my singing voice! You gotta undo this please!" Priscilla begged.

Ember's eyes widened, realizing her father was right about the consequences.

"Okay, listen, we need to get through school first. I'll tell father I wanna give you something really quick and I'll be over there." Ember said.

"Okay! Okay!" Priscilla agreed.

"But do me a favor and stay calm. If my father finds out, he's gonna kill me! I don't wanna get grounded… again!" Ember warned.

Ember hangs up the mirror. Throughout the day, Priscilla tries to remain calm as she tried to focus on her schoolwork.

School was over and Priscilla anxiously waited with Freesia and Kaida for Ember. The girls notice Issac approaching them.

"Issac! H-hey!" Priscilla nervously greeted.

"Shalom. Priscilla, are you okay? You're not yourself." Issac asked.

"I'm totally fine. What makes you say that?" Priscilla denied.

"Because I can see you feel insecure about your looks. What are you trying to prove?" Issac asked.

"I just wanted to show everyone I can beautiful like Pamela since Gary kissed her!" Priscilla confessed as tears rolled down her face.

Freesia and Kaida hug her.

"Priscilla, Pamela is not beautiful. She is mean, entitled, rude and selfish. That is not beauty. Same with Gary. He is not beautiful either." Issac said.

"W-what do you mean?" Priscilla asked, wiping her tears.

"Real beauty doesn't come from the outside. It comes from the inside. Mama told me that." Issac explained.

Just then, Ember appeared in front of the girls.

"Oh! Ember thank goodness! Undo the spell and change me back! I can't be sounding like a toad when I sing!" Priscilla begged.

"Wait, Ember gave you a beauty spell?" Issac asked.

"SHH!" Ember shushed.

"Oh, sorry." Issac apologized.

"Well, I told you this would happen. But you didn't think about the consequences you didn't want to hear." Ember sternly said to Priscilla.

"I know. I'm sorry! I promise I'll never do this again!" Priscilla promised.

"Okay, there is one way to undo it." Ember said.

"What is it?" Freesia asked.

"She has to love herself inside and out. Embrace her true self." Ember explained.

"What does that mean?" Priscilla asked, confused.

"It means you need to love yourself for what you look like and who you are." Ember answered.

"But…!" Priscilla was about to protest until Ember steps back.

"I gotta go!" Ember said and disappeared.

Priscilla is distraught but regardless needs to take Ember's advice.

"Love my true self? How do I do that?" Priscilla asked.

"I think I can help you with that." Issac offered.

"We can too." Freesia said.

"Hai." Kaida agreed.

Later, they are at the Hopewell Farm in the fields.

"Listen to us, you are not a 'Plain Jane' or this 'new you'. You're Priscilla Hopewell." Freesia explained.

"I'm not a 'Plain Jane'. I'm not this 'New Me'. I am Priscilla Hopewell." Priscilla said to herself.

"Now, what makes you, you Priscilla?" Kaida asked.

"Well, I love to sing like my father. I am beautiful like my mother. I love hanging out with you guys since we've been best friends forever." Priscilla answered.

"That's right." Kaida said approvingly.

Isaac stepped forward, having an idea.

"Priscilla, I have something to say to you." Issac said.

Priscilla listened closely.

"You are more than beautiful. I've seen you be there for Ember when she was being picked on by other kids and you look out for your younger siblings. You are courageous, selfless, kind, and humble. That is the true of you." Issac explained.

Priscilla is touched by his words.

"And I was also wondering if you'd like to go to the dance with me?" Issac finished.

Priscilla had a few tears and smiled.

"Yes. Yes, I will!" Priscilla answered happily.

Priscilla hugged Issac and embraced him. Issac felt happy for making Priscilla happy and hugged her back.

Just then Freesia and Kaida notice something unusual.

"Priscilla! Look!" Freesia exclaimed.

Prisiclla and Issac stopped hugging and noticed she was transformed back to her normal self.

"It worked! Ember was right!" Kaida exclaimed.

Priscilla noticed in her reflection on Freesia. Then, Priscilla started singing a line of one of her father's songs, making her realize her singing voice was restored.

"My singing voice! It's back!" Priscilla happily exclaimed.

"That's our Priscilla! Now, let's start rehearsing!" Freesia said.

The three friends started rehearsing as Issac started to head for home back to his family, feeling happy that Priscilla said 'yes.'

Priscilla noticed Ember watching her in the fields. Ember gave her a wink and Priscilla winked back until Ember disappeared.

Friday finally came for the big dance at the school. Priscilla wore a beautiful pink dress with a pink rose corsage that Gwen tied on her wrist. Issac arrives with his mother dressed fancy with a pink rose corsage on his jacket.

"You are so beautiful honey." Gwen complimented.

"Thanks mama. You were right. I was always beautiful." Priscilla thanked and admitted.

"That's my girl." Gwen said and gave her a kiss.

"Are you ready Priscilla?" Akilah asked.

"Yes, Akilah." Priscilla answered.

Gwen's magic carpet Cerulean Bolt flew up to Priscilla and gave her two thumbs up with his tassels.

"Thanks Cerulean Bolt." Priscilla thanked and petted him.

Akilah takes the children and escorts them to the school dance. Issac and Priscilla go inside the school gymnasium and notice it was nicely decorated.

Priscilla joins Freesia and Kaida for their performance. They all sang in harmony, impressing the other classmates and teachers. Everyone applauded for their performance as the dance begins with music playing.

Priscilla and Issac danced with each other, and both have the time of their lives.

Meanwhile, Ember watches Priscilla and Issac dance through the magic mirror, feeling happy for her.

"Ember? What are you doing?" The Devil asked as he approached his daughter.

"Oh, checking on Priscilla. She finally got asked to the school dance." Ember answered.

"Ah. I see she's moved on from that pathetic Gary Greaser. I taught her well." The Devil said noticing.

"Yeah. I'm glad for her and she didn't need to change anything about her appearance to get asked." Ember said.

"Is that why you asked me about that forbidden beauty spell?" The Devil asked.

"What? Oh no father. I would never do that to her. Besides, I took an oath." Ember lied and explained.

"Good. Because I don't want you performing those spells on your siblings or anyone for that matter. They're very dangerous plus you're not ready." The Devil reminded her.

"I won't father. I promise." Ember promised.

"That's my girl." The Devil said approvingly.

Ember smiled, having learned her lesson.

"Now, let's go do some weekend fun. What do you say?" The Devil asked.

"What did you have in mind?" Ember asked.

"I was thinking we could go torment Gary. He's stuck at home with his parents while Priscilla's at the dance. I'll let you torment him first." The Devil answered.

"Okay." Ember said.

"Wonderful!" The Devil said.

The Devil wrapped his arm around Ember, and both disappeared to Gary's house. They both appear in his bedroom asleep. Ember thought and got an idea. Ember raised her hands and magically made a nightmare appear in Gary's head. She and the Devil watch satisfyingly at Gary whimpering and wiggling in his bed in fright.

When he wakes up from his nightmare, he thought it was all a bad dream and sighed of relief. Suddenly without warning, the Devil surprised Gary with his evil laugh and flame-covered pitchfork.

"Remember me?" The Devil asked in his demonic voice.

Gary turned white and screamed until he fainted.

Both Ember and the Devil laugh hysterically at Gary's torment. They both disappeared out of his room before his parents entered his room to check on Gary.

The next day, Ember met up with Priscilla at the farm. Timothy and Joy were out playing while the two girls sat on a hill together.

"So, how'd it go with Issac?" Ember asked.

"It was wonderful! I had no idea Issac had a crush on me before. How could've I have been so blind?" Priscilla asked.

"Mama was right. You never needed to change yourself to get someone to like you." Ember said.

"I know Em." Priscilla agreed.

"I hope you learned something from all of this now that we're in the clear." Ember said.

"Yes, I did. I never wanna go through that again." Priscilla said.

"If you had been narcissist like Pamela, you could've lost your soul to my father. That's why I told you to love yourself inside and out to break the curse." Ember explained.

"Yikes." Priscilla said fearfully.

"If you and I don't wanna get grounded by our parents, we say nothing about this. We keep this to ourselves and never speak of this to anyone. Make Freesia, Kaida and Issac promise too." Ember instructed.

"I will. I promise." Priscilla promised.

Both girls wrap their pinky fingers around each other.

"Sister promise." Both girls said.

Just then, Timothy and Joy run up to the girls.

"Hey Pris, Em! Ice Cream Man's in the area! Let's go get ice cream!" Timothy said excitedly.

"Yay! Ice cream!" Joy cheered.

Ember and Priscilla smiled.

"Okay, let's go." Ember said.

"Yeah, I could use a frozen treat." Priscilla agreed.

The four siblings take off toward Ice Cream Man's ice cream truck to get some ice cream. Priscilla learned a valuable lesson on loving herself for who she is and she doesn't need to change herself. Ember learned not to endanger her loved ones with her father's forbidden curses as she is not ready to cast them.
