Authors Notes.

First, let me apologize for how I began the last chapter. I was frustrated as I've had people not really giving ideas, but more or less telling me how I should do the story. There is a difference. Still, it's not an excuse. I'm sorry for sounding snippy and I will do better. I appreciate all the ideas you guys have given and I love the support you have all given to me. Thank you all.

Chapter 18: Vengeance Part 1

Plumber Base

Max was rubbing the space between his eyes. "What do you mean Albedo is gone?"

Jon replied. "Vilgax came in after the other villains and broke the little bastard out. Ben was distracted and everyone else was in the med bay to see the babies being born."

Max was pissed. "So now we have two of the biggest threats free…threats who know Ben's weaknesses."

Jon nodded. "But...in some good news, we have a new recruit."

Rojo entered the room, with new armor that was a fusion between Plumber armor and hers. She had a smile. "So…are we gonna get started, pretty boy?"

Meanwhile…..

Ben was in Undertown with Evie. He had stopped at the ice cream store with her before stopping by Pakmar's latest venture: a jewelry store.

The two entered the store, Evie was still licking and quite enjoying her cotton candy ice cream, it was shown by the fact that half of it surrounded her mouth making her lips blue. The little girl was fascinated by all the different necklaces and accessories.

Ben stood at the counter waiting. But then the owner came out. "No no no!!! Ben Tennyson is not welcome here."

Ben sighed. "Hello Pakmar…."

"You destroy everything!!! You leave right now!!" The little green man said as he tried to get Ben out.

Evie looked confused. "Daddy, who's this?"

Pakmar looked over and sighed. "Pakmar sees Ben Tennyson has reproduced…"

Ben said. "Look, all I want is to lock up my order." He showed Pakmar the receipt.

The little alien nodded. "You stay here and touch nothing." He went in the back to get the rings.

Evie was quite in awe of a gold tiara with purple jewels that she completely accidentally bumped into a suit of armor that then toppled over, crashing and breaking a glass case, and shattering an expensive blue diamond heart shaped necklace that had been found in the deep ocean.

Ben's eyes widened as he saw the destruction. He gulped.

Evie slowly turned to her father. "Sorry, daddy…"

Ben sighed. "It's fine, lovebug. I've wrecked this place a fair amount of times too." He thought back to the times that he had destroyed the business.

This was interrupted by a shrill voice saying. "Nooo!!! Ben Tennyson, you did it again."

The father and daughter turned to Pakmar. The green alien gave Ben his rings and shoved the two out, slamming the door shut.

Evie looked up at her dad. "Sorry I got us kicked out.."

Ben hugged Evie. "It's not your fault, sweetie. Come on, let's get home to your mothers."

The two made their way back to the surface when they bumped into a familiar person.

Ben was in shock. "Julie?"

Julie covered her mouth. "Ben…what happened to you?"

Ben covered his cybernetic eye. "You didn't see? I got messed up in a fight…"

Julie got closer, but Ben stepped back.

Julie sighed. "I guess I deserve that…"

Ben said. "No, you don't. I just…I didn't expect to see you after the break up…"

Julie nodded. "I just got home...Hervé turned out to be a perve...and a cheater…" She held her arms.

Ben sighed. "Here, let's go somewhere and talk…"

Julie nodded and turned her attention to the little girl. "And who's this?" She smiled

Evie giggled." I'm his daughter!!"

Julie looked at Ben confused.

Ben chuckled. "I'll explain…"

The trio made their way down the street.

Meanwhile….

Attea was playing the game system with Ester, Helen and Shar. They were playing Mortal Kombat.

The girls were in casual clothing.

Attea wore some leggings and a purple tank top.

Ester was wearing some shorts, with a purple and pink striped shirt.

Shar was wearing some leggings and a long sleeve T-shirt, drinking some coffee.

Helen wore short shorts and a blue tank top.

Hope wasn't at home as she was currently dealing with an issue in Leger Domain.

Ester and Attea were currently duking it out with Attea playing as Reptile and Ester playing as Raiden.

The two were really competitive at it. Attea growled. "You won't beat me, you stretchy bitch!!" She gritted her teeth as she did combos on the controller, stressed beyond belief.

Ester was cool, calm and collected as she played. This was one of her favorites and knew exactly how to win.

Helen taunted Attea. "Come on, froggy. Can't keep up?"

Shar simply sat there as she watched, giggling at the two ladies try to kill each other over a video game.

The two fighters on screen were going at it. Ester beat Attea and performed the fatality.

Fatality: Raiden wins!!

Attea growled and snapped the controller in half with her left eye twitching while Attea did a victory dance. The former empress slowly turned to Ester and the two got into a scuffle.

Shar and Helen had to separate them.

Shar said to Attea. "Relax, Attea. It is just a video game."

"She cheated!! I demand a rematch!!" Attea said.

Ester laughed. "I beat you twice!!"

Helen said. "And you made your point, but we can't kill each other over a game."

Attea and Ester looked away from each other, but nodded.

Looma came from the kitchen with tea and Maxwell swaddled on a blanket, sucking his pacifier. "Tea's ready, ladies!!"

Mazuma followed, carrying the sugar and sandwiches.

Meanwhile, with Gwen and Kevin.

Gwen and Kevin were relaxing with their babies when there was a knock on the door. Kevin stood up and opened the door. It was Verdona, carrying a book.

Kevin was confused. "Verdona? What are-"

Verdona silenced him. "I'm here to speak to Gwen. It's important."

Gwen walked over as she held Devlin "Grandma? What's wrong?"

Verdona sighed. "It's about Ben…and his Anodite side."

They sat down and began to talk.

Verdona opened the book and it showed an image of an Anodite and a creature that looked similar to Ben's form. The horns and all.

Gwen was confused. "What's this?"

Verdona explained. "Ben…isn't an Anodite. Male Anodites do not exist. The males with our genes become something new entirely. An Apotrodite. Where Anodites control light energy and magic, Apotrodites control dark magic and other forms of sorcery. That's why Ben's mana is more of a powerhouse. But…the power can turn someone mad. Luckily, Ben is a special case. His Infitrix can contain it so we shouldn't have to worry about."

Gwen thought for a moment. "But lately…he's been losing himself more and more. The Ben I have seen recently…isn't the one I knew a year ago…he's more brutal, not afraid to take a life..." Gwen told her grandmother

Verdona nodded. "His mana is slowly taking over his mind…the way I see it, he is either going to succumb to the magic or…we can find away to get him to expel the excess…"

Kevin asked. "But wouldn't these end with Ben…dying?"

Verdona shook her head. "Not-"

Kevin and Gwen's communicators started going off.

Kevin answered. "Ya, Max?"

Max said. "We need all hands on deck. Get to the base now!!"

Kevin nodded and looked at Gwen.

Verdona then cast a teleportation spell and got the family to the base where everyone was there watching the monitor.

It was full on invasion, with Malik's ship and hundreds more.

Manny's eyes widened. "There must be hundreds of them!!"

Alan chuckled. "We can take them!!!"

Helen replied to Alan. "No. We can't just go off half-cocked."

Attea nodded. "She's right. We need a plan."

Ben came into the room with Jon and Max. "We are working on one."

Max nodded. "One that involves everyone."

The monitor then had a incoming vid call. It was Vilgax. "Tennyson~" He snarled in his voice. He sounded more like his old self and even had new armor.

Ben walked up. "Vilgax…"

"It's been a while, brat. It seems you have been busy~" He referred to Looma and his new baby.

Ben said. "Leave them out of this. It's me you want, Squid Face." He clenched his fist.

Vilgax laughed. "Oh, I do. But I intend to make you suffer. After I rip the flesh from your bones, I will slaughter your entire family, starting with your spawn."

Ben gritted his teeth. "I won't let you get the opportunity. I'll turn you into paste before you even look at them." He hit the monitor.

Vilgax grinned. "Then let us finish this fight. We will meet in the valley. Away from the humans and we will see if you can actually defeat me with no assistance." He logged off.

Ben growled as his eyes turned green.

Shar touched Ben's shoulder. "Deep breath, beloved…"

Ben nodded and took a deep breath. "I must go prepare for my fight with Vilgax…I'm going to make sure he stays dead…"

Ben walked out of the room. Everyone looked at each other.

Verdona said to Gwen. "And so it begins…."

Gwen sighed and went after Ben. The young hero was getting his old uniform back on. Gwen chuckled. "It's been a while since you wore that old thing..."

Ben nodded. "It's a special occasion. Today, I finally end my rivalry with Vilgax…one way or another..." He said as he tightened his boot laces.

Gwen approached. "Ben...do you remember when we went to the future and met our adult selves?" She asked.

Ben nodded. "What does this have to do with it?"

Gwen flicked his forehead with her fingers. "Think. You killed Vilgax in the future and become some…stone-faced man."

Ben thought about it then said to Gwen. "I guess that's destined to happen. Each timeline ends with me defeating him in some capacity. I'll gladly sacrifice my soul if it means I can save the world from the pain I've suffered…"

Gwen rolled her eyes. "Don't you see, dweeb?!! It's not just about you anymore!! You have a family!! Partners who want you to come home to them!! You have no idea what they or we went through while you were gone!!"

Ben raised an eyebrow. "You don't think I know that?! I was trapped in my own body, unable to scream for help… there was nothing more that I wanted than to come back…"

Gwen said. "You're right…I'm sorry…I didn't mean to lash out at you…I just don't want you to give up your humanity just to be a hero..."

Ben pulled Gwen into a hug and Gwen wrapped her arms around her cousin, tears welling in her eyes.

"I promise I'll come back…dweeb." He chuckled.

Gwen smiled and rolled her eyes. "Just be safe. You have a family that's waiting."

Ben nodded and made his way to the hanger.

Back in the main room…

Julie had come to the base with Ben and she was sitting with Ben's partners. She felt a little out of place because she had history with some of them, especially Looma. It was even more weird now, seeing as she was holding a baby that looked like Ben and Looma.

Looma, however, was feeling the complete opposite.

"So…you were the human Benny was with before us…" Looma said.

Julie nodded. "It wasn't an easy relationship...Ben was always busy with hero stuff and I was busy with tennis…he was a different person back then…"

Looma nodded. "I remember. He used to be afraid of me." She chuckled.

Julie giggled. "He was always kind though...even when he missed my games or acted like a jerk…he still made it up to me…damn, I'm an idiot...I wish I was more patient with him…"

Looma began to think and came up with an idea. "Well…we can give you another chance with Ben."

Julie looked at Looma. "Wait, really?"

Looma nodded. "It worked for Ester...and plus, our little girl loves your pet." She pointed.

Julie looked and saw Evie playing with Ship. The young girl was giggling as Ship chased her happily. It was like they formed a bond.

Julie smiled. "Are you sure I won't be intruding?"

Looma nodded. "I'm sure we can make an exception for you. Our Benny Boo has a big heart."

Julie nodded. "Thanks..."

The two hugged.

Eventually, everyone crowded around the monitor as Ben arrived at the location Vilgax sent.

Shar took a deep breath as she watched. "I am going to be sick." She immediately ran out of the room to the bathroom.

Helen and Ester ran after her.

Ben exited the ship, staring at Vilgax.

Vilgax chuckled. "I was beginning to think you would never show up."

Ben sent the ship away. "Oh I wouldn't miss this for the world. Seven years of fighting has led to this. Our final showdown. And I…am doing something special."

He typed in a code on the Infitrix. It responded. "Starting 10 Playlist Active. No other transformations can be accessed other than these 10."

Ben smirked. "Back to the basics. What do you say, Villy? One last battle."

Vilgax pulled out his blade. "You are a fool, Tennyson. You should have taken full advantage of the mat device. Now I will rip you apart." The squid alien charged at Ben.

Ben transformed into FourArms and clashed with Vilgax, sending a shockwave through the valley.

The two were in a standoff, trying to throw the other off balance. Ben used one of his lower arms to uppercut Vilgax. This only pissed him off and the two began to trade blows. Ben turned into a new alien: DiamondHead. He turned his arm into a crystal blade and the two continued to duel, trying to slice and stab the other.

Ben gritted his teeth. "What does Malik want with you? What could he have promised-" Ben was interrupted as he was kicked backwards.

Vilgax said. "He offered me a very simple prize. Your destruction. He has already killed you once. I will personally see to it that he does it again."

Ben turned into XLR8. "Yet I'm still alive, squidface." He put his visor down and began to speed around Vilgax, delivering blow after blow.

Back at the base, everyone was watching. Hope had just arrived and was cheering on Ben with the others, except Shar who wasn't feeling well.

Vilgax growled and grabbed Ben, who then transformed into Grey Matter. Vilgax looked frantically as he felt the little toad crawl all over him.

Ben transformed into Upgrade and began to take over Vilgax's electronics. The villain then tore the Mechamorph off and tossed him to the wall.

Ben transformed into Ripjaws and pounced upon Vilgax, ripping off one of his tentacles.

The monstrous villain groaned in pain as he tried to attack Ben, but he transformed into Ghostfreak, becoming intangible.

Ben chuckled. "Love the new look. I see it as an improvement….." He said in a ghostly voice.

Vilgax growled and Ben transformed into Stinkfly, launching muck at Vilgax. However, it was not very effective.

Ben gulped. "Uh oh…."

Vilgax grabbed him and slammed him on the ground repeatedly before throwing him against the rock wall.

Vilgax roared and charged Ben, who then transformed into Wildmutt and they tried to tear each other apart.

Vilgax lost chunks of his armor but Ben was getting tired out as he turned human, his body bruised.

Vilgax chuckled as he held his sword. "You don't get it, boy. I know that device inside and out. I've studied your aliens and trained. What hope do you have?" He raised his sword to finish Ben.

At this point, the whole galaxy was watching as Vilgax broadcasted his "greatest triumph" to the universe. It was a repeat of Ben's last huge battle.

The young hero started to laugh. "Man…you really are stupid…"

Vilgax looked dumbfounded. "What are you talking about, brat?"

Ben stood up as he began to glow. He raised his fist, glowing and punched Vilgax so hard, he flew threw a mountain.

Ben appeared in front of the villain. His eyes were that green glow. Vilgax tried to swing and hit Ben, but he was too fast. He dodged every attack and kicked Vilgax in the check, breaking his ribs.

Everyone was silent and held their breath as Ben stood over Vilgax.

Vilgax coughed. "How…how did you get this power?"

Ben smirked. "I discovered something about myself. I don't use magic or mana like Gwen…I control it: I've spent months training myself and improving my magic."

It cuts to flashbacks of Ben studying magic books and researching more about Anodites. More specifically, what he is. He figured it out. It showed him practicing spells and meditating. It then cut back to Ben.

"You know the best part: it has given me an advantage you could never see."

Vilgax groaned as he tried to get up.

Ben sighed. "I'm tired of this ...it's time to end this…once and for all…"

Vilgax gave one last charge.

Ben held his hands together as he put his fingers up. "Domain Expansion…Omni-Legacy!!!"

Vilgax was trapped inside a dark barrier with Ben as he was surrounded by all of Ben's aliens. Ben was levitating in his Apotrodite form. Glowing green, his horns ever present on his head and some on his shoulders."

"Cursed Technique…Master Control."

The aliens all charged and Vilgax was torn apart by the pure force.

His screams echoed around the galaxy as everyone watched this awesome display of power.

When all was calm, Ben stood victorious over Vilgax, who was now a pile of sludge.

A portal opened and Gwen came through with everyone.

Max observed. "You did it…you put Vilgax down."

Gwen was shocked. "Ben, where did you learn that?"

Ben rubbed the back of his head. "I…may have swiped a book or two from your library…"

Gwen sighed. "Of course you did…"

Verdona said. "What you did…no one has cast that technique in eons. I was wrong about you…you have more than the gift. You have potential and with training, you and Gwen will be the most powerful of our species."

Ben smiled and looked at Gwen. Gwen smiled back. "We will work out a schedule to practice." She said.

Before Ben could reply, he got tackled by his lovers who were all worried about him. They checked him for injuries.

"Girls, I'm fine." Ben chuckled.

Attea nodded. "We know. Just had to be sure our lover boy was okay."

Kevin, Jon, and Rook stood around Vilgax's corpse.

Jon said. "Rest in piss, you ugly bastard."

Kevin replied. "See you in hell, Gax."

Rook simply said. "Another chapter closed."

But then…there was a maniacal laugh.

Ben looked up. "Albedo…"

Everyone turned around and standing there was a large gray suit of armor that looked like Azmuths, but it had red lights instead of green. The helmet lifted and inside was the evil Galvin.

"Hello, Tennyson~" Albedo smirked.

Don't worry because I still intend to continue Omni-Legacy and more Ben 10 stories in the future, including a whole Ben 10 retelling with my own spin, inspired by B.E.A.T.N's Ben 10: Alien Rebirth.
