The 8 days following the tor-I mean training for one redhead descendant of Satan could be considered to be quite productive, especially for their group's leader. Aside from giving magic lectures to Mio, Meredith had finally gone and done what she had requested to do with regards to increasing security around the town of Kuoh. Something that both pleased and irked her male companions for various reasons that will be delved into shortly.

Firstly, she went and deployed a multi-layered detection barrier around the entire town, one which remained unseen by those who weren't part of the supernatural world. It wasn't anything complex, for it simply detected any supernatural entity that entered the town, analysed their energies and then attributed their signatures to what race they belonged to. For example if an angel were to enter the city then the Barrier would identify said angel, then Meredith would receive a notification in her mind as the Barrier's caster. This way, they would be able to have a firmer grasp on the supernatural elements within the city itself, and since the barrier itself was sustained by a secondary barrier, maintenance for it wasn't too much of an issue. Meredith kept its power source deep within the Helsing HQ, within her room to be more specific, and filled it every day with energy.

Secondly, she increased patrol schedules throughout the most populated areas for Theseus and Vali, whilst the lesser areas were assigned to Arthur since he could quickly teleport between areas with his Caliburn. Those areas were also overseen by Kuroh who could use his gravity magic to move almost just as quickly, providing an ample response rate that, according to her calculations, Meredith found was within the top three of their group. Though there wasn't much difference between how fast each of them could respond to danger due to each of the boys having methods for great mobility (Divine Dividing for Vali, Kuroh's Gravity Magic, Theseus's flight capabilities and lastly Arthur's Caliburn). Nevertheless, this pretty much covered every part of the city during the day and when the boys couldn't do these patrols for whatever reason Meredith had her own methods to fall back on.

Next, Meredith even set up more powerful barriers around places of interest to the HQ, such the HQ itself, the University, and any place which Mio and Maria would frequently visit. Their routes would be marked down on a map within the HQ itself of which Theseus would have wind elementals keep watch over just in case aggressors managed to get too close to their priority targets. As for these barriers, most of them dealt with supernatural energies and were invisible to normal people, which resulted in anyone using such energies within them to have… well, a bad time. Problems would arise such as drawing that energy out, using it to form attacks, and any use of it would immediately alert the caster as well as anyone the caster had attuned to the Barriers… meaning anyone in the Helsing group.

Then there was the issue of humans with Sacred Gears, something which had shortly been detected by the Barriers Meredith had set up. The Helsing group had quickly convened together when one of Meredith's barriers detected one such Sacred Gear within a lone human who, after some investigation, showed few to no signs of being linked to the supernatural world. After some discussion which only took a day, Meredith decided to start small for the time being by having Theseus create wind elementals to follow and observe those who had unawakened Sacred Gears in case someone from the Supernatural world targeted them… which also had led to the greater number of killed Strays due to them sensing these weapons against them within their hosts. Meredith had further plans in development for treating them, but for the time being secret observation and protection of these individuals were the current priority. Any supernaturals detected in their vicinity would be treated with great scrutiny, either by the elementals or the group themselves, and if they showed signs of making a move on those individuals… let's just say they wouldn't have a good time.

Thanks to these measures, security around Kuoh became air tight, with the boys downright OBLITERATING a ton of Stray Devils throughout the city In fact, it was thanks to them that they had been able to track down and annihilate more Strays which had hidden themselves deeper within the populace. One could say that the days after these barriers were erected that the Helsing group went on a downright CRUSADE, purging the heretical Strays from Kuroh via elements, glorious melee combat and, most of all… lots of dakka. As a result, the supernatural population within the city went down by a great percentage alongside the crime rate, meaning that thanks to Helsing the public enjoyed… more than a significant amount of peace. Few murders were reported by their news broadcasters that were of supernatural-relation, fewer disappearances were reported, and a general calming peace fell upon the town.

All thanks to the brutal yet downright effective tactics the Helsing group employed. Some people feel like the city has gone safer than usual as they would sometimes thank the police, the vigilantes or the gods for this peace upon them.

Though there are some certain people who do not like this situation and that is-.

"HOW DARE THEY!"

A sharp cry of fury and frustration escaped the lips of a certain redhead who slammed her fist on the desk with an angry expression. She took the form of a beautiful young woman with white skin, blue eyes, and a buxom figure. Her most distinctive feature was her long, beautiful crimson hair that reached down to her thighs with a single hair strand (known in Japan as ahoge) sticking out from the top. Her hair also had loose bangs covering her forehead and side bangs framing her face. She wore the Kuoh Academy girls' school uniform, which consisted of a white long-sleeved, button-down shirt, with a black ribbon on her shirt collar worn under a black shoulder cape and a matching button-down corset, a magenta skirt with white accents, and brown dress shoes over white crew-length socks.

"Rias, you need to calm down. You're acting immature now." Another girl spoke in a placating manner, watching this redhead heave heavily after that loud outburst, standing in front of a large desk whilst hanging her head over it. She herself was a young bespectacled woman with a slim figure, black hair styled in a short bob cut and violet eyes, currently sitting with her hands on her lap on a chair not too far from the redhead's desk. She wore glasses over her eyes as she also wore a Kuoh uniform similar to the girl known as Rias.

Said redhead did NOT take that advice, her demeanor that of an ex-wife hearing that her husband was causing trouble for her. She abruptly raised her head and glared at the black haired woman, her blue eyes alight with anger. "Sona, this is my territory that my brother has given me and that blood faction thinks that they can come here and act like it's their own? Who the hell do they think they are!?"

"The Hellsing organization Rias." The girl known as Sona replied to Rias's angry question, adjusting her glasses. Like ice and fire, the girl looked much calmer than the redhead as she gazed at the table in front of her. "And it was our neglect of the city that is to blame for this. We were instructed to oversee this town, but our efforts were negligible in comparison to other territories which resulted in the death of multiple humans around." she explained, her tone neutral and blank like some kind of robot.

Though internally, she had to admit to being vexed at a significant degree. As a young noblewoman, these actions smashed away at her pride of her ability and her Peerage. Initially she and Rias had governed together, with herself handling the more public affairs and Rias handling things more on the supernatural side. Sona had been responsible for things such as covering up undesirables as well as more public matters like governing the territory with law and order, whereas Rias with her Power of Destruction Clan ability in mind had been tasked with eliminating any supernatural threats that would have derailed the lives of the citizens.

Sona herself had done things by the book, and at least took her job more seriously compared to Rias who had used this opportunity to immerse herself in Japanese culture, but unfortunately that led to the negligence of her duties resulting in needless deaths that could have been avoided, and far too many Strays to come here and hide within the populace where they couldn't have been found out so easily by the authorities.

Rias however, had more than a few choice words for this decision as she couldn't understand how something like this had been allowed to happen. She would have thought that their siblings would have fought tooth and nail to keep the power that they had over this city and that would have been the end of it. But the fact that this did NOT happen ruffled her feathers more than she cared to admit. It was a good thing that their Peerages were out doing their thing at the moment, since Rias didn't want them to see her losing her cool like this. "We could handle those threats! We're strong enough!"

"And risk exposing the threats to the human's Rias? Face it, they're doing a better job in overseeing the city than we did." Sona stated calmly, like cold water dousing a fierce flame. To further her point, she took out a Japanese newspaper which details a report of how the city has gotten safer than usual.

Rias glared at Sona with anger. "And you're taking their side as well? Who's side are you on?"

"The Devil's side, Rias. I know when to back down if there's something we can't handle and I'm telling you as well to not provoke or threaten them, Rias." Sona replied to Rias, narrowing her eyes at her.

"Then what should I do? Do you expect me to allow them to take our position and grovel at their feet?"

"Yes I do." Sona instantly replied to Rias, as blunt as a hammer too.

Something which did not sit well with the redhead who got up from her seat in fury and let out her destructive aura around her. "So being a coward is the only option we have?! We bow down and let them take what was ours in the first place?! I thought you were better than this than I am!" Rias yelled at Sona, her outrage reaching a peak.

On the other hand, Sona showed how she was not affected by her scream, simply drinking her tea and closed her eyes. "I am Rias, it's called being rational and keeping our lives intact. Have you forgotten about Hellsing's Trump Card? Have you forgotten about The Monster Whose Powers Radiate With A Darkness That Cast A Shadow Over Darkness Itself? Have you forgotten….about Alucard?"

When Sona said his name, both Rias and Sona shivered uncontrollably with nightmarishly afraid expressions on their faces. Rias even paled to a corpse-like level, whilst Sona looked the same despite having a more composed demeanor. It was well known how terrifying the Vampire King was, how he became the ultimate vampire that not even the four Satans could suppress, with all the corpses left in his wake.

It had become a fact that from then on that he was the true lord of darkness.

Even now there was a song made about him:

The Bird of Hermes is my name

Eat my wings to keep me tame

From the bodies blood is shed

Soon the ghouls become undead

The Bird of Hermes comes soon

Not morning, evening or afternoon

The Bird of Hermes feeds on fright

Soon blood shall stain the night

The Bird of Hermes will devour

His enemies at midnight hour

The Bird of Hermes is my name

Eat my wings to keep me tame

The night shall soon be stained with red

You and your army lay bleeding and dead

Your bodies shall rise soon

And join The Bird's platoon

You shall learn to live in night

You ghouls are made to fight

The stench of blood is ever sour

The Bird's enemies shall cower

The Bird of Hermes is my name

Eat my wings to keep me tame

(Poem website allpoetry poem/10530551 -The-Bird-of-Hermes-by-AlexL.C. and I have to admit, even I find this poem creepy and horrifying don't you think so Hunter?)

(It definitely has that feel, Darklord.)

That song had been what the devils and vampires have used to make sure that if their younger generations didn't behave, then he would come for them. It had been a tale used mostly as a scare tactic, but with an actual creature as a reference hence why it worked so well, to the point where many in the supernatural world feared the name 'Alucard'.

Rias stuttered out her following words. "I…...I." even she was afraid of speaking when Sona mentioned Alucard. Even her brother told her how he practically dominated and killed thousands of devils with his power. Even he could not defeat the no-life king, a super devil no match for the king of vampires.

Sona held enough fear inside of her to make a proper sentence on the other hand, although the mention of the no-life king still looked to have affected her greatly. "And if that's not the worst thing about this, apparently he made another appearance when the Egyptian faction started to reappear. He slaughtered their forces, stained their blood, even killed the Egyptian god Set easily, Rias." She explained, doing her best not to tremble. Although judging by how there were minute trembles from her hand that grasped her tea cup, Sona wasn't doing 100% a good job there.

The Devils were not only the faction who had heard that the Egyptian one had made their appearance for the first time in ages, but the news of their devastation by Alucard's hand took greater precedence.

Rias stayed quiet as she slowly sat back down in her seat, looking subdued whilst she continued to listen to Sona's explanation. "Rias, I want you to listen to me loud and clear: Do our faction a favor by not provoking the Hellsing. I'm not saying this as a rival but as a friend, I don't want you to head to their HQ and get yourself killed. God(she winced when she said god) forbid that it won't be long until Alucard would exterminate the entire devil faction." Sona wasn't bluffing there either, she very much believed Alucard capable of wiping out an entire species.

Overnight even.

"...then…..what about our territory? Will we be kicked off as well?" Rias quietly asked Sona, worried about not just her future but her friend and their Peerages' as well. Many of them had grown up in Kuoh (more Sona's peerage than hers) but all of them had grown attached to this city, so she didn't wish to part with it so easily.

However, Sona shook her head at her friend, a slightly tired smile forming on her lips. "The Hellsing were kind enough to allow us to stay in Kuoh city as our siblings only gave them the rights over the land. We were lucky that the leader of the Hellsing, Alucard's master, let us stay instead of forcing us to return to the underworld." Sona said to Rias who let out a big sigh of relief at that.

What the black-haired woman didn't say was that she knew the reason why the Hellsing let them stay at Kuoh: to taunt them, making them feel like ants due to the fact that they were doing a better job in both handling the supernatural and public affairs. Proof was in the papers, the stats, everywhere. She couldn't go anywhere without people praising the 'sudden competency' shown by those up top.

Even Sona was angry at their taunts, so Rias wasn't alone in her frustrations, but what else could she do? Go to their HQ and argue with them?

No way in God's(ow) name would she do that. Sona wouldn't last for a second against those 'monsters' if she were to go and complain, she knew all too well how deadly they are and how powerful they are. They may not be at Alucard's level, but there seemed to be plenty of big players over there, players with high levels of not just energy, but fighting ability and just bloodlust in general. Hellsing was known to be the blood-thirstiest faction for a reason, as well as the sole reason why the supernatural population within the UK wasn't as prominent compared to Japan, America or Europe.

Not only that, but they're still growing their power and influence over the world which is one of the reasons why they're here, to spread their influence further.

"I see. Thank you for reminding me that I was about to commit the biggest mistake I was about to commit for the rest of my life." Rias gave a thankful nod to Sona as she returned it as well to her friend as she thought Rias was rational enough to not provoke them… but it all went down the drain when she heard the following words. "But if they were to try and provoke me with any means, then I won't back down the pride of the house of Gremory."

Alarm bells rang within her mind as Sona looked at her companion with utter dread and urgency. She spoke the following through gritted teeth, frustration building within her chest amidst the dead and fear those words provoked. "Rias I'm trying to….(SIGH) you know what, forget it. If it's your business then I won't interfere, but heed my warning Rias, one mistake." she held up an index finger. "One mistake and it will cost your life."

"I will remember that Sona." With that said, Rias got up from her seat and went to the door, loud footsteps accompanying her. Reaching the door, she opened it and exited out of the room, closing the door behind her and leaving Sona alone in the room.

The said woman stared at the seat that her friend had once occupied… before putting a hand on her forehead to soothe an incoming headache seconds later. "Satan's help me, Rias will do something that will no doubt lead to catastrophic damage. Sometimes I wonder if her brains went down from her head to her chest." Sona muttered under her breath in frustration.

A question that she bet many who had seen her would have shared.

Back to Theseus

Theseus opened the door to the roof of their University, stepping out into the roof and closing it behind him.

Looking ahead, the male found Yahiro standing at the roof's edge while looking upwards at the clear blue sky, as if admiring the beauty of it. Soft winds blew across the rooftop, ruffling the male's hair and clothes though he didn't seem to mind it.

It didn't take him long to sense that someone had entered the rooftop, if the closing of the entrance and the footsteps weren't enough of an indication. To find out who this presence was, Yahiro looked behind him and saw that it was Theseus who had furrowed brows on his face. Yahiro greeted him. "Yo, whats up Theseus-san. What brings you he-"

BOOM!

Before Yahiro could finish his sentence, the Shark King had quickly acted. Theseus threw his right arm forwards and launched an air blast shaped like a spear towards Yahiro unexpectedly, catching him off guard and covering the area he once stood in dust. Since there were barriers in place over the University, none of the normal people would have heard such things so there wasn't any worry for people being alerted to any fighting.

Soon it cleared away and showed that Yahsiro was no longer there as Theseus still had his palm forward.

"Well, that was unexpected. Didn't think you had the guts to act so immature." Theseus heard his voice behind him. Eyes becoming more shark-like, the blonde turned around and put his hand out while looking at Yahiro who looked like he no longer needed a mask to cover his true self. A wry smirk formed over the other male's face while he addressed the shark king. "Heh, when did you even notice?" he asked Theseus, a calm and lazy smile on his lips.

Such a thing didn't change the expression Theseus had however, as he did not answer him but instead the male gestured to his nose. "You may act like a idiotic nice guy, getting Mio's trust after the football act but my hunch says there something more to it, since few guys in school would befriend her for more than her body structure. Sure enough, I followed my nose and it turned out to be true." Then there's the fact that Meredith's barriers over the University had identified him as a supernatural being, one which Theseus initially nearly exploded at with the initial desire to take his flesh from his body that he suppressed under Meredith's orders. Hence this confrontation wasn't just involving him but ALL of Helsing. "You're not a normal person aren't you?" Theseus asked, but it sounded like more of a statement and a demand to Yahiro.

After a few moment's worth of silence, the other male put a hand on his face and gave some amused chortling, like someone who had just laughed at a joke. "Hehehe, I should've expected something like this from the student of the no-life king." He mused, more to himself than anything else but the change in tone wasn't unnoticed by Theseus. Yahiro then lowered his hand from his face and looked over to the other male with a sharp gaze behind an easygoing smile. "You're as dangerous as they speak of Shark King. Well, guess I have been corned by The One Who Commands The Water Over The Sea." Yahiro said to Theseus while announcing his other title.

"Hmph, that's rich coming from the one who almost fooled me and the rest of Hellsing. What are you here for? And who do you work for?" Theseus demanded of Takigawa as he let out a dark and purple aura on him.

"What if I don't answer that question?"

Theseus stood there as he was not affected by his intimidation, he is a million years away from intimidation, he let out his BOE tail while launching it towards Takiguawa's face. The male made to launch a counter with his energy, when all of a sudden he felt an electrical buzz within his mind and grimaced, holding his head in one hand. 'Wha-'

SMASH!

"Guh!"

This momentary distraction allowed Theseus to land a blow to Yahiro's gut via his BOE Tail, knocking the wind out of him.

THWACK!

Another strike landed in the form of the tail flicking upwards and striking Yahiro upside the jaw, launching him into the air before he fell onto his back with a loud thud, a sharp gasp escaping him. Before he could even contemplate what the fuck had happened, Theseus stomped on his chest with his Tail looming over his right shoulder, eyes glowing green under dark shadows across his face.

"You're going to answer, because you're in the shark's nesting grounds, DEMON." Theseus spat, causing Yahiro's eyes to widen at the knowledge that Theseus was aware of his racial alignment. The shark king didn't mention it, but thanks to the barriers Meredith had erected any supernatural being not aligned with the Hellsing organization would experience 'problems' with using their powers within these areas. Yahiro here was no exception. "There's no way of escaping, so if you want to keep your balls intact…" Slowly, Theseus's Tal moved its tip towards Yahiro's ballsack much to the male's slight horror. "Then you'll cooperate."

Yahiro was silent at the moment as Theseus thought he was thinking for a moment before he saw him still laughing as if not being affected by his threat. "Now I know the rumors are true after all, King of Sharks." he put both of his hands up as if surrendering himself. "And don't think of me as an enemy but an ally to you."

"Bullshit." Theseus instantly answered Yahiro as his tail was getting closer to his balls. "Demons can never be of use to me or anything. You're only lucky I'm not killing you on the worst way possible. What can you even possibly have that would make me consider you to be an ally to me, Demon?"

"Information about both the old and new satan factions." Yahiro easily replied, still smirking at his potential killer as Theseus narrowed his eyes. "I have some information on what's happening between those two factions and I know you're smarter than you look Theseus, let me go and I will tell you, it even regards the original Satan's Descendent you are protecting."

For a moment, Theseus remained silent with the same gaze being directed at the Demon beneath him. It would be so easy just to eliminate him, it'd be as easy as slicing a piece of cake. He really did want to cut his body to pieces as slow as possible, ensuring he remained alive just enough so that his Sharks could have a taste of fresh meat...

...but he couldn't.

The reason was simple, if he did that then he would have potentially jeopardized the mission and possibly lost a piece of valuable information that could majorly benefit Hellsing.

Theseus gritted his teeth in anger before he complied with Yahiro's wishes as he put his foot away from his chest while making his BOE tail move back to his back. "Fine, you win." he said to Yahiro as he got up from the ground and dusted himself as if he was getting the dirt away from his shirt. "But it better be useful."

"Of course Theseus. Where do I begin, the New or Old Satan faction." Yahiro asked Theseus which one he would choose.

The answer immediately left the shark king's mouth. "The New Satan faction, tell me about them," he demanded. As much as the old satan faction were downright assholes from what he heard about them, the way the new satan faction behaved didn't sit well with him either.

Thing was, there was so much dirt exposing the Old Satan Faction out in the world that everyone thinks that it would be better if they were to disappear entirely, perhaps even overnight. It was only due to their connections and political power that kept them around like a comatose patient on life support, which also allowed them to operate as they pleased with key individuals in power throughout the Devil government shielding them and making false claims about those that they harm.

Much of this had been dug up and exposed by various vengeful remnants of those that the old satan faction had slighted, that despite their attempts to spin it there had been a sizeable growth in people against them that threw their lot in with the New Satan Faction. It's like saying 'the enemy of my enemy is my friend', regarding how those remnants joined up with the faction that opposed their hated enemy. It didn't help that these Old Satan Faction members were right assholes to everyone, even their own which resulted in a low amount but still noteworthy defecting from them and joining the New Satan Faction.

All of this painted the New Satan Faction like heroes fighting against a great evil, similar to the allied nations fighting against the crimson axis powers during world war 2. However, it was always the winners who painted the history of their deeds, meaning that like the allied nations there were obviously going to be skeletons in the closet that remained unknown and forgotten by the masses. Theseus may hate the Old Satan Faction immensely, but he hardly knew anything about their adversaries which made him distrust them… Well, he hated all Devils but he hated some more than others due to how much of an asshole they were.

Thus, he wanted more info on them.

"That was quick but as you wish. You see, the New Satans have gotten word about the girl, though not that she's the original Satan's descendant. They mistook that for a descendant of the pureblood Satans that perished in the Great war. Of course, they want to make sure that she would be safe and sound while making sure she doesn't get involved with the elder's plans. If they have caught word she is the ACTUAL Satan's descendent then they would use this chance to make her a political pawn to gain more power over the other warring factions. You can say they want to use her to their own advantage." he answered as he waved his hand back and forth. "So they decided to make sure the rumors still remain that, rumors."

"By sending you to counter her powers?" Theseus guessed the answer which he was trying to say if he's right.

Yahiro nodded his head. "Yes, but her powers have potential and are still growing, it won't be long until they sense this potential and start digging deeper about her. What do you think they'd do when they discover her true lineage? You already know the answer do you?"

"...I've seen politics like that before, and believe you me I know it usually doesn't end well." The way that Yahiro had looked at him pretty much confirmed for Theseus that he wanted to know what he thought of such a situation, and as someone who had been allowed in political meetings as a bodyguard for either Sir Integra or Meredith, he remained familiar with THAT particular battlefield no matter how much he hated it. Thus, he had enough experience to predict what the New Satan Faction would do with the knowledge of Mio's Heritage.

"It does, and now for the Old Satan Faction." he said with a heavy tone as he became serious about this as Theseus furrowed his brows at him but knew that the old satan faction would cause something worse. "You know they are the followers of the old ways when the…..uhhhhhh what do you call those original four satans when there's the original Satan?" Yahiro asked Theseus, looking both confused and frustrated all of a sudden.

Emotions which were mirrored by the shark king as Theseus put his hand to his chin to ponder. After all, the Demon made a good point, with the knowledge of the original Satan one would need a different name for the original Lucifer and his ilk that perished in the Great War. Calling them 'Satans' would just be too confusing, though he doubted many gave that thought since the original Satan was hardly even mentioned in the current Devil Society anymore, save for those who did know of him and his deeds.

Eventually, a name came to him which he then proposed to the Demon. "How about the Satanic Princes?" Theseus suggested to Yahiro, thinking about it logically Theseus could reasonably consider the hierarchy to be like a typical royal family: the Original Satan would have been the King of the Devils like Alucard was the vampire king, whereas the pureblood 'original' satans would have been more like children or princes to him, not by direct relation but more like creations like the bond between Theseus and his elementals. Thus, he could call the factions the old and new 'Satanic Prince' factions.

Part of him secretly chuckled at calling Sirzechs the 'Satanic Prince' Lucifer.

Unaware of the Shark King's thoughts, Yahiro hummed for a bit before nodding. "I guess we could go with that, anyway as I was saying, similar to the Satanic Princes they want to use her as a political pawn, but to a different goal. They want to use her as a means to summon the creator of demons back into the world and enact their plan to conquer the world and make him stronger."

"They can try but it will always be the same, their corpses will satisfy my sharks and their blood can quell Alucards thirst." Theseus declared, eyes glowing green under the dark shadows across his face.

Yahiro meanwhile shook his head derisively. "Maybe, but they are sneaky bastards and very good at hiding for many years, to have gathered as many forces as they've gained. I've even heard rumors that they have joined Khaos Brigade." He revealed, awaiting Theseus's reaction.

He didn't have to wait long since Theseus furrowed his brows in thought, cupping his chin in one hand whilst the other cupped his elbow. That name sparked more than a few thoughts within the male's noggin. "Khaos Brigade, I've heard about them but only thought of them as only rumors..." he mused, frowning. He didn't like the possibility of this new factor joining the fray known as the war for ownership of Mio. As much as he hated referring to this like that, Theseus couldn't see any PC way of designating it.

"Then you'll be surprised that some rumors are true or sometimes they're not. This is all I know of, but let me tell you one last fact…" For a moment, Yahiro became quiet as he internally deliberated on whether or not he should reveal this next tidbit, but the fact that he had little else that could be an alternative was the clincher that decided it for him. Taking a brief moment to steady his breathing, Yahiro dropped the following bomb with all the grim gravity that it entailed. "I know who killed Mio's foster parents."

Now THAT fact made the area around them become cold like ice and the tension just grew up to the point where, despite the barriers Meredith had erected, everyone in the school felt a little chill on their backs as Theseus summoned his trident in anger. "Who…..who killed her foster parents? Tell me now." Theseus demanded Yahiro, exercising every bit of restraint that he had in him for the purpose of not EXPLODING with the instinctual desire to rip and tear.

Something which the Demon opposite him promptly noticed and thus just as quickly provided the answer to his question. "It was Zolgear Asmodeus, the great-grandson of the Satanic Prince Asmodeus." Theseus narrowed his eyes as the pressure lessened a bit while he began to calm down. Yahiro sighed in relief as he continued his explanation. "You see, he has heard of Mio's location and the potential she had inside of her. Thus, he sent minions to try and capture her by force, her parents resisting and getting killed as a result. The fact is, he has his own plans for Satan's descendant, I don't know what it is but it has to do with her power."

Finally at the end of the talk, Theseus closed his eyes for a few minutes as he began to ponder this new information. He did not feel too pleased by it, even though he had an idea of the overall situation already using just his prior experiences with the supernatural world. 'Dammit, even now she's still in danger... But at least I know who killed her foster parents, that Asmodeus brat will get what's coming for him…' The male thought to himself.

However, seconds into the pondering something became noteworthy to him and his eyes briefly and slightly enlarged in a mix of surprise and confusion. 'Wait, why am I thinking about Mio? She's just a priority to the mission, nothing else.' he raged, trying to convince himself. That is, if not for the image of her smiling at him constantly popping up through his mind which made him grit his teeth as he put his hands on the side of his head. 'Stop conjuring these images, brain! She's only someone under Hellsing's protective custody, that's it!'

Repeatedly Theseus tried to convince himself with little effect, prompting him to growl like an animal before opening his eyes to a sly-looking Yahiro. "Alright, you've proven your usefulness Takigawa. I'll let you go, but if you ever try to cross me or Hellsing..." he pointed his trident at Yahiro for intimidation. "You'll have the full honor of why I'm called the Shark king."

"I'll look forward to this, Theseus." he said to him as he turned around and walked away from Theseus as he opened the rooftop door and closed it behind him.

Theseus stared at the distance for a few minutes before putting his hand to the side of his head, growling at the persisting images of Mio in his head. 'I don't like her! She's just an innocent girl but that doesn't mean I like her! Stop trying to make me angry!' he roared internally, trying to convince himself as he kicked the ground in anger before slamming his head at the edge of the roof as it had cracks on it while trying to get rid of her image.

Yet no matter how hard he tried, the image of her smiling radiantly just would NOT leave his mind.

Finally, out of sheer desperation Theseus growled as he conjured up images of sharks swimming in the depths of an ocean of blood… something which seemed to work as his bloodlust reacted and a sickening grin spread across his lips. Eyes glowed brightly as dark thoughts replaced the previous ones, paving the way for his bloodlust to increase.

In the future, he had no doubt that heads would roll… which meant he would be able to bathe in the blood of his enemies.

He just couldn't wait.

Later

"OOF!" Mio grunted as she fell to the ground again, planting her face into it with enough force to create an indent shaped like said body part. If it weren't for her supernaturally enhanced endurance and body type, Mio bet she could have broken her nose on more than a few occasions, although she doubted that would have made the cause for her current state lessen his intensity or anything.

It had long been made apparent to her that her respective 'teachers' were quite literally slave drivers.

She was currently training with Kuroh outside of their mansion, the man hovering in the air as if the laws of gravity doesn't affect him. Kuroh was literally sitting on the air like a chair while looking at Mio. "You need to keep focus on yourself, Ms Naruse. Controlling gravity is just a simple task." Kuroh informed Mio leisurely, almost looking like a woman who wanted to look at her nails for the hundredth time.

Down below, the redhead stumbled back to her feet with a complicated facial expression, her legs trembling on occasion. Judging by how bruised and battered she looked, this had been going on for a while… The sight of the countless craters surrounding her were another indication of this.

Even so, she looked up at her mentor while holding her right arm with her left hand, her face set into an annoyed pout. "That's easy for you to say. I'm a novice when it comes to magic." Mio retorted, reflecting on the beginnings of their lesson when Kuroh had given her a simple explanation about Gravity Magic, then simply told her to get on with practicing it. Judging by the way the surroundings looked, training wasn't progressing as fruitfully as either of them would have hoped.

Hearing her words, Kuroh couldn't help the reluctant sigh that escaped his lips as he placed his hand over his eyes. "(SIGH) that's what you think…" He began to say, dragging his hand down to his chin and then to his lap. "But gravity is more simple in terms of the basics, flying is one of them. If you know how to control gravity, then you can become an expert in gravity-related skills."

Mio remained silent at his words, retaining that pouty expression on her face. In her mind, she still believed that there was more to controlling this element due to how many times she had failed to keep herself up in the air like how Kuroh had shown her. The thing was, no matter how hard she tried, she kept lasting only a few seconds and a couple dozen feet off the ground before she would unceremoniously collapse and have her face meet the hard floor of the classroom they currently practiced in.

With one look down at his student, Kuroh decided that he had to explain in a bit more detail, and stood up from his previous sitting position. He then started descending down to the ground as he prepared to give another lecture. "Gravity is one of the Fundamental Forces Manipulation. You already were given a lecture from Meredith about the various elements from what I recall, but gravity is one of the most powerful elements there is and I'm not bluffing. Observe."

He then faced towards a nearby tree (ones generated by Theseus for this lesson's sake before he had left the HQ), narrowing his eyes at it. He looked at it for a brief moment, before he put his hand out and let out a wispy, lavender gel-like aura on his hand before making a grabbing gesture.

"Gravity force: Spatial distortion."

The tree and space around them became distorted as if trying to connect each other. Mio looked wide-eyed at this technique as Kuroh turned back to face her. "What did I just do Ms Naruse?" He questioned Mio as she looked at the space distortion before Kuroh as she guessed her answer was unsure.

"You…..bent space to distort and manipulate the structures around it?" Mio questioned back, unsure as to what had truly happened. Hence her question being the unsure answer to what Kuroh had asked of her.

As for the Samurai, Kuroh shook his head before he dispelled the distortion, making the environment back to normal. "You are partially correct but that is not a clear answer. What I did was use gravity to grab the matter within the area, pulling onto it, thus distorting its properties and manipulating its structure. Do you understand?" Kuroh explained to Mio.

Said girl just looked stunned by what he just said. She couldn't even deny it either, having just gotten a physical demonstration so she was forced to admit that it was the truth. "You…. You used gravity to forcefully manipulate matter itself?"

"Yes I did, that's what I just explained."

"But...but how? I thought gravity is only limited to pulling people down." Mio questioned in confusion, unable to grasp the full basics of gravity that had just been presented to her.

With how flabbergasted she looked, Kuroh let out a small smirk. "There is a lot more to consider when it comes to gravity. (CLEARS THROAT)." As he cleared his throat, Mio sat on the ground to listen to his explanation. "Gravity Magic is a powerful magic, which allows the caster to wield gravitational-based powers for either a strong offense or defense whether it's slamming their target into the ground with downward gravitational pressure. But it's not only that, it can create, shape, move, control, interact and manipulate gravity, a natural phenomenon which all things with mass or energy." He explained, acting like a university professor lecturing students of that level.

Considering that all of them were currently university students, this made sense contextually.

"So in other words gravity can be used for almost anything? Even yourself?" Mio questioned Kuroh.

He nodded in response, making an example by leaning on an empty air… though not toppling over thanks to some kind of force holding him from falling down. "Yes, almost anything." He stood up straight while continuing his lecture. "Gravity manipulation would allow one to increase or decrease gravity within an area, be it the environment or individual objects. Increasing gravity could cause everything in an area to become heavier, causing loose objects to propel to the ground, making people become immobilized or get crushed depending on the gravity increase. When doing the exact opposite, decreasing gravity, the user could achieve a similar effect to Zero Gravity since all objects float upwards, or lift heavier objects with astonishing ease due to the decreased weight. With enough control and skill, one could attract or repel objects regardless of direction, achieving an effect akin to Telekinesis, ignore or defy the laws of gravity altogether, allowing one to walk on walls or ceilings or manipulate orbital fields on anything."

"Woah! Gravity can be very useful, is it one of the reasons why it was mostly sought over?" Mio exclaimed while being in awe at the revelation of what gravity can do.

Kuroh huffed, nodding his head while folding his arms under his chest… as well as remaining in his leaning state. "Yes indeed, but the most powerful thing about Gravity is control focus." Seeing how Mio looked confused still, the Samurai tried to elaborate on it. "You see, the main point of controlling gravity is by control, like how I grabbed the space and focused on it to distort it."

Slowly, Mio's mind began to grasp the concepts behind Gravity manipulation that Kuroh was talking about with her, the cogs in her brain gradually turning. "I see, so if I control and focus at the same time, then I can learn gravity?" she questioned again.

This got a nod from the battle hardened veteran. "Yes, though it was partially my fault for not teaching you about Gravity. But for those two you will be learning them in your lessons with Meredith." he told her, much to Mio's surprise.

"Why is that? Aren't you an expert on Gravity Mr Yatogami?" Mio asked her mentor in confusion on why he can't teach her how to control and focus on gravity.

"It's because I had to use gravity subconsciously when I was young to survive the supernatural world, so I won't be the best teacher of those two. Meredith however, she's an expert on control magic similar to gravity, maybe I'll pay a visit to Meredith soon or later." Kuroh muttered as he put his hand on his chin in thought before shaking his head as he faced his student. "I can only teach you HOW to use gravity, not control it. Do you understand?"

"I understand Mr Yatogami." Mio said with understanding, a firm look of determination on her features. While internally disappointed somewhat at the lack of progress she was making in this lesson, it got mollified by how she was still making some headway at least.

On the other hand, Kuroh shook his head at her, prompting her to give him a look which he soon noticed and elaborated on. "Please, call me Kuroh. Saying Mr all the damn times makes me think I soon get wrinkles on my face." Kuroh said to Mio who nodded her head to him. "Now try and at least control and focus on your gravity magic Mio. I have limited knowledge about it but I will try my best to teach you."

"Yes sir!" Mio curtly replied, getting up from the ground. To that end, Mio closed her eyes as she once again reached deep within herself to try and control the element of Gravity. Slowly, progress started happening when Mio started to levitate herself off the ground, but previous instances taught her not to lose focus at this moment, and to keep it still as she tried to follow Kuroh's limited instruction.

Soon enough, she felt that her feet were no longer touching the ground as they had been previously, but did not stop focusing on herself as she tried to control and focus on her gravity training.

"Come on, keep going, you're doing fine Mio. But like I said, always focus and concentrate. Control the force to make you fly and focus on the magic." Kuroh instructed Mio as she did what her mentor instructed her on what to do.

Mio ignored the feeling as she focused and controlled, repeating the process over and over for a while.

As she did this, she heard Kuroh speaking in front of her. "Well done, you've managed to get the basics.'' She opened her eyes to see Kuroh in front of her, looking like he approved of her somewhat. After blinking several times in confusion, Mio went about looking down to see how she had apparently started hovering a couple feets up in the air, gradually bobbing up and down like she were a boat on an ocean.

This sight caused her to widen her eyes for a split second… before delight and joy replaced the shock while she threw her hands up in excitement. "Yay! I did it!" she said in excitement at how she had finally achieved the basics.

"You need to keep focus." A sharp interjection from cut Mio's reverie short, however, caused her to look at him, confused at what he meant by that.

"Huh?" she questioned, blinking owlishly as she didn't know what he meant before suddenly realized she wasn't keeping focus on herself and because of that she fell. "WAAAHHH-OOF!" she screamed, descending down to the ground when the law of gravity got a hold of her. Before she could consider trying to regain control over her motions, she fell to the ground again with her form landing on her bottom. "Owwie… that smarts..." she whined, groaning painfully while she rubbed her bottom to soothe it from the fall's impact.

Above her, she heard some masculine snorts of amusement at her plight, irking the girl somewhat. "Hehehehe you have a long way to go, Mio." She heard Kuroh's amused voice talking to her, making her look up to see him descending down to the ground in the smoothest manner possible, almost like he were mocking her earlier attempts at landing without making her backside scream in protest. He playfully shook his head at her while being amused at her current state. "Just because you managed to control the laws of gravity, doesn't mean you are an expert." he told her, wiggling his finger in her face in an 'i'm better than thou' manner, to which Mio's pouted in annoyance at him with her cheeks puffed out like that of a squirrel's.

Part of her wanted to protest and say that he at least had years of experience under his belt, she was just starting out over here!

Thing was, Mio didn't mention any of this due to knowing how much of a dick Kuroh, Theseus and Vali could be to each other, let alone girls. Unaware of these thoughts, Kuroh hummed thoughtfully for a moment before directing his attention back to her. "But later in the future, you should be able to achieve mastering the basics because after all what's the harm in repeating the same step over and over? Remember this Mio, there is no such thing as giving up, because if you do, then you will never know how far you could have progressed."

Kuroh's speech spawned the flames of inspiration inside Mio's chest as she looked at her mentor for a few minutes, before nodding her head with a determined expression.
