Two weeks before the call between Integra and Meredith;

BAM! BAM! BAM! BAM! BAM! BAM! BAM! BAM! BAM! BAM! BAM! BAM! BAM! BAM! BAM! BAM!

After that whole rant and the following furious lecture he had given to Meredith, Theseus had used the wind powers his Sacred Gear provided him to take off into the skies above, flying away from the building and by extension the city entirely. He had intended to leave as quickly as possible so nobody would notice him, which would be a bitch to deal with if it happened and in this situation he wasn't sure if he could hold himself back from causing mass genocide.

He'd eventually found himself on a mountain a bit far from Kuoh, completely isolated from the rest of the world… and free to vent his rage in the best way he knew possible. What he'd done to Meredith had hardly been enough to soothe his fury, in fact it hardly made a dent in that white hot pool, so he needed a proper alternative so that he didn't just randomly butcher some fucker who did so much as look at him wrong. In this state he wasn't sure if he could even handle Vali's usual antics without resorting to lethal force.

His anger had reached THOSE levels.

Therefore here he was, punching the rock walls, destroying the hard rocks, pretty much carving a path of sheer devastation through the mountains. His hands could be briefly seen bleeding from the constant punches he's making, but thanks to them being in constant motion the male hardly noticed. Not like he would have given a fuck even if he had though, not with his current mental state.

He'd been pretty sure that it had been at least 2 or 3 days since he'd started doing this, but as mentioned previously he didn't care at all.

He didn't even care for the damage he's doing to his own body.

'She thinks that she can change someone like me to be one of those…..those fucking rich snobs?!' he angrily ranted within his mind, teeth gnashed together akin to a shark-like snarl while the male punched with increasing intensity. Just thinking about that half-breed animal just made him want to explode, expel all of his power.

'I won't be like them… I...'

"I'LL NEVER CHANGE!" Unable to keep his thoughts contained any longer, Theseus shouted with intense fury before gathering his divinity into his fist before thrusting said fist the biggest rock formation he'd briefly seen yet.

BAM!

C-C-C-C-C-C-CRRREEEAAAKKKK!

BOOM!

With the amount of force he put into his fist, cracks started to appear around the rock which quickly spread across it's form like fangirls spotting the object of their affections. When they fully spread around the rock which hardly took a couple seconds even, it promptly shattered into pieces before the male.

Said male heaved and panted, now thoroughly winded and out of breath thanks to the amount of action he had been pushing his body through with his rage fuelling him. At this point, the male's mind had rough clarity to actually look around at his surroundings to properly gauge where he was, finding himself to be in some kind of cave system. There was moonlight spreading throughout the cave, and when he briefly looked outside Theseus could see the pathway of destruction he carved through the mountain.

"Huff… huff…"

Still in the process of regaining his breathing, Theseus let his hands fall limp down to his sides while still standing. Finally giving his hands rest after the whole intense rage he was feeling. Blood was everywhere on his knuckles, showing the muscle skin.

DRIP! DRIP! DRIP! DRIP!

His hands were dripping blood from his knuckles, which showed the muscle skin from the constant punches he launched the last few days. The shark king never gave a shit about this though, ignoring the pain he's felt from them. His legs began to wobble for a bit before giving in to the fatigue that now washed over his body, and as a result Theseus wound up falling to the ground into a kneeling position. His divinity may be incredibly powerful but his body was still human, fragile, and weak.

A large crystal dropped to the ground, in front of him which caught his attention. He looked towards it to see his own reflection, gazing at it for a few seconds before the reflection suddenly and abruptly changed.

It showed him as a child, looking happy, filled with innocence and joy.

Eyes losing their previous fatigue and intensity, a sense of tranquil longing filled his chest at the sight. Was he hallucinating right now? The male wasn't sure, but he didn't give a shit as Theseus slowly put his hand up and attempted to touch his own reflection with the intent to caress it.

Just as he was about to, the image changed all of a sudden once more, this time becoming a sight which constantly haunted him. On the reflection were the monsters, the hell demons replacing his reflection and roaring furiously at Theseus.

RROOOOOOOAAAARRRRRR!

"HHHHHHHHHHHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!"

BAM!

C-C-C-C-C-C-CRRREEEAAAKKKK!

BOOM!

Again, an almost berserk look crossed onto his face while Theseus punched the crystal and destroyed the reflection, alongside the crystal by extension. His fist remained in that position for a while before Theseus lowered his hand to his side, hanging his head low so his hair shadowed his eyes. A few moments later, he raised both hands to the sides of his face to plant them there as he looked up at the ceiling of the mountain, his furious yet pained gaze burning through the gaps in his fingers with the angry shouts following suit.

"WHAT ARE YOU EVEN TRYING TO DO?! MAKE ME SUFFER MORE THAN BEFORE?! WHAT HAVE I DONE TO YOU GOD? TELL ME WHY! WHY IS IT ALWAYS ME, WHY IT MUST BE ME! AM I SUPPOSED TO BE CURSED!" he shouted to the heavens, demanding an answer that he knew would never come. Nonetheless, he kept demanding out of sheer desperation, his eyes now shining with the pain that he felt inside while memories of that day filled his mind no matter how hard he tried to fight them. "TELL ME!"

Out of frustration, sadness and pain Theseus threw a hand out to the side while pumping his Sacred Gear's energy into it. This wound up with him having conjured a lightning bolt on his hand, cracking with static energy which he then reared back before throwing it out the cave entrance nearby. Instead the thunderbolt slammed to a nearby cloud which had simply been minding it's own business (AN: Bullshit! AN 2: IT WAAAAAASSSS!) when it got hit, being promptly split into pieces as a result.

He'd been shattering many things to pieces recently, hadn't he?

After silence returned to the cave, Theseus lowered his head again whilst gritting his teeth, eyes swimming with all kinds of emotions. Perhaps it was a combination of factors, from the frustration he'd felt alongside his hate towards being changed into something he loathed, the survivor's guilt he tried to ignore on a daily basis and all the other shit that had been going on. Nonetheless, it all resulted in the male hanging his head as tears started to build within his eyelids, his throat tightening to an uncomfortable degree.

"Why...?" he lamented, the memories combined with the shame he felt inside making a horrendous combination within his gut. "Why must it always be me? What did I ever do…...to deserve this kind of fate? Why couldn't I be left alone... with my mom? My Dad…?" He mumbled, covering his face again while starting to quietly weep.

Theseus wasn't just angry anymore, he felt… all over the damn place. He hated it… but more than that he hated his current self.

He hated NOT feeling angry to be more specific.

Anger was something he felt for a long time, ever since his home's destruction by those Demons. Something which he was haunted by since his survival. His anger, Hellsing duties and his comrades helped distract him from the pain inside, but it was moments like these where his distractions weren't around to keep his mentality focused, which allowed his mind to wander back to those times. Something which happened much more often during his years travelling before he met Vali. Theseus hated those years because that loneliness forced him to recall the good times he had before it all went to crap, something which happened less frequently since meeting Vali and joining the Hellsing organization.

To him, his anger was almost therapeutic alongside everything else… but take that away and what was left behind?

Just a snivelling, whimpering wimp of a brat who couldn't change anything, and that stung the worst.

'Forget what I said to Mio, I can't even abide by my own rules let alone teach others how to live their lives…' a traitorous part of his mind briefly whispered. In that time, he briefly froze both externally and internally… until a new wave of shame fell upon him. In fact, this shame stung just as bad but in a whole different way compared to what Meredith had done.

He remembered lecturing Mio about his response to her problems and his spiel about them following their leaders' orders no matter what, that power needed direction otherwise it wouldn't benefit anyone. THEN, he recalled what he had done to his superior officer after the whole thing with the meeting… and it made him feel like a massive hypocrite on TOP of everything else, as if he wasn't seeing himself as enough of a little shit.

It made him a coward, someone strong on the outside but weak on the inside. A pathetic useless boy he was, a whiny little shit he was. He doesn't deserve to be even called the shark king, never deserved to be Alucard's student. All those were just falsehoods, just nothing but fake made-up titles.

Perhaps… this was the most vulnerable he had ever felt since the Apocalypse.

Deep within his mindscape, the Egyptian goddess inside of him remained silent while floating through the eternally vast waters filled with marine life. She didn't say anything at all to him because she had no words that she could say to change what was happening.

Theseus….Kaito, seemed to be drowning in his suffering from the pain and despair the world had dished out against him. It's almost like the planet hated his existence, something which never should've existed, never to rest easy. Just like what he said, what was the reason God had for making him suffer? Perhaps it's because he was just one of those Greek soldiers' descendants who tortured and killed Jesus Christ.

Maybe just seeing him suffer was what he liked to do for a cheap thrill, like he did with the Egyptian faction when her people tortured the Hebrews. With the plagues that struck unto Egypt, the Egyptian Gods had attempted to stop the plague but were stopped by the almighty Jehovah. His rage was not something to be scoffed at.

Many attempted to plead with Jehovah that they would make Ramases to let the Hebrews go. But the Egyptian pharaoh in his pride said no to his Gods, and that was the last straw. YHVH unleashed the final plague, one that devastated Egypt whole.

Death of the firstborn.

Who ever said God was kind and merciful? Who said he understood humans? No Gods were truly kind unlike what their followers tried to preach, it was just their nature to be the cruelest of all beings and to be feared because of it. This was what all the Abrahamic holy books said, 'Fear the lord and his might. For he shall deliver judgment on those who defy him.'

All she could do for the poor boy was what every mother would try to do: Comfort him when he needed it, and right now seemed like just that.

Despite being in near-total despair, Kaito shuddered while his tear-stained eyes briefly widened when he suddenly felt a soft warmth from behind him. It felt as though someone was hugging him from behind, sort of like a mother comforting their child. He briefly wondered where it was coming from, but soon enough Kaito found that he simply didn't (or rather he couldn't) give a shit anymore hence why he didn't push the source away. It felt almost like it was the one strand holding his sanity together at this point.

Behind him, a transparent image of Nephthys was hugging Kaito around his neck in an attempt to alleviate the young man's agony. Something which only succeeded partially but that would be better than nothing.

Thoughts like this filled the formless Goddess's mind as she struggled to provide what comfort she could for her host. Nephthys may not have been able to be there for her child, but maybe….maybe she can be there for Kaito.

Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned.

The people who died on the island... Death had a special place reserved only for the sole survivor. As if his sins were all placed upon him.

God was not unjust, but he was also not merciful.

Back to the present

"We have arrived in Japan Kuoh airport. We thank you for arriving in Japan, enjoy your visit here."

In the Kuoh city airport, there was an announcement for the people who arrived in Japan. Some were very happy to be in Japan because some were tourists, hoping to see some historic monuments and some were happy to be back in their home country.

Though there were a few people here for business work or meetings. In most cases people were looking weirdly at the person who was walking beside them, paying the observers little to no heed.

This person took the form of a man wearing a 1900 doctor's suit with a long black robe and a white-beaked mask, somewhat resembling a plague doctor. He wore a pair of black gloves over his hands and a top hat from Victorian England's era was placed atop his head, adding to the man's rather dark, ominous feel. One could easily understand why many who caught sight of him were creeped out by this figure. He was carrying what looked to be some sort of cage atop his back, one covered in blankets while reading an old century style book which had the title 'Les Prophéties'. To translate that into English, that meant 'The Prophecies'.

"Hmmmm, 'The arrival late, the execution completed, The wind contrary, the letters seized en route: The conspirators fourteen of a sect, The enterprises by the wise Red-haired One.'" He quoted and repeated the phrase of one of the prophecies in the book. Not many people recognized what it meant, but this man knew the meaning of this prophecy.

Finally, the cool outside air brushed against his mask as the man walked out of the airport and waited at the terminal's arrival area for a while. While he did so, he messed with the straps connecting to the cage on his back, winding up plopping it beside him as if he were depositing a long rucksack, all the while he continued to read his book ignoring the stares everyone was giving him.

After a short while, a limousine pulled up in front of him with the man still looking at his book before he picked his cage up. He swiftly and skillfully pushed it inside the vehicle before he too entered the limousine.

By that time he heard the sound of the door closing, the driver began to drive away from the airport with the passenger putting away his book and picking up another from within his cloak. This one had no title on it however, showcasing itself as more of a notebook especially when he took out an ink pen and began writing on it.

During the drive, the driver began to speak to the man. "Welcome to Japan Mr No-"

"You are 2 minutes and 4 seconds late from arriving at the airport." the doctor interrupted the man, still writing in his book with a calm and collected tone.

The driver flinched at his tone which made him nervous a bit but kept his cool and remembered who he's working for. "We'll I'm sorry about that sir, it's just tha-"

"Traffic at the i-980 where a lot of cars were grouped up, causing a bunch of Traffic between your area and the route to the airport." Once again he interrupted the driver and answered his reason which was accurately true.

Quickly being caught off guard by such a statement, the driver almost lost control of the wheel and his concentration on the road. Fortunately, his professionalism won out and no accidents had occurred because of him, though he gripped the wheel slightly tighter than normal. "W-well t-that is true sir." he stuttered at his sentences while trying to calm himself. The driver had to wonder how many unusual people there were inside the company he's working for. He could tell this man (was he some kind of doctor?) was some kind of future teller.

Part of him had to wonder how long it'd be before he lost what remained of his sanity.

The man continued. "Mr. Saito Hiruuga." he called the driver's name while still writing his book.

The driver, now named Saito, jumped in surprise before answering the man. "Y-Yes, i-is there s-somet-thing you need?" he stuttered once again as this man now knows his full name.

"Is your back and neckline feeling unwell? Do you have some pains in your collarbone along with some middle back pain?" the man asked him.

Though this seemed just to be a normal question on the surface, it's context and strangeness dumbfounded the driver still. "H-huh?" Saito looked visibly taken back by his question before rubbing his neck, feeling the familiar pain that he's feeling. "W-well, now you mention it yeah I do. It's been like that for 3 weeks. Never had the time to head to a spa center."

"That will not help." The man put his head up and glanced at Steve, he pointed to his own collar bone while giving him a lecture. "Your muscle is becoming twisted, it's getting close to your collarbone. While your back is arching you would need surgery to replace the backbone, the backbone is becoming looser and cracking the more you leave it as it is." The man explained in a lecturing manner.

Again, Saito became stunned at his lecture while widening his eyes at the revelation. He never knew how serious it was becoming in his body, it's likely he would've gone into surgery had not this man given his knowledge about his condition. "W-wow!" Saito exclaimed. "I-I didn't know about that! H-how did you know about this?"

"It's simple, I am a doctor. I analyze the body before coming to a conclusion which is either right or wrong." The man answered, before returning to his notebook.

Now that he was aware that his initial guess as to this man's occupation had been correct, Saito nodded his head in understanding whilst doing his best not to freak out at how severe his condition actually was. Though since he had an actual doctor on hand, Saito decided to check in with him and ask for some advice on how to counter this issue. He didn't want to lose out on being able to provide for his family after all. "Thank you sir for telling me this! W-what should I do to avoid it?"

"It's simple. All you need to do is go to a professional massage center, tell them to mostly focus on your neck and your back. Once you're done, lie down on a hard surface that will tighten your backbone, continue this for 2 weeks, and you will no longer have any issues with your body." the man explained, pulling out a piece of paper from his notebook with the recommended actions he had just spoken to him about. He then gave him that same list of activities to relieve his knots and avoid going to surgery.

Saito took the paper and put it in his pocket. "I will sir…...oh, and we have finally arrived." Saito informed the doctor while looking outside.

The man did not respond to him and instead, he opened the car door and exited the limousine, Taking his luggage with him to allow the driver to ride away and continue his daily routine. As he heard the fading sound of the vehicle's engine, the doctor looked up at his target destination: a large manor with a certain organization's emblem by the brick gate.

'This is the place… our Headquarters in this far eastern land…'

Gazing at the building for a while, the man stood there silently with his mask hiding whatever expression was on his face, before the doctor put away his book and pen, grabbed the cage and strapped it to his back. He then commenced walking towards the manor's main entrance, and the start of his new life in this land.

Later

After the man entered the manor he was greeted by a few of Hellsing's agents Kuroh, Vali, and Arthur who were joined by Mio and Maria. They all now sat inside their living room with the man sitting alone and the rest scattered in various places around him. If the man was disturbed by this then he didn't show it, in fact his appearance sort of unnerved even Vali and Kuroh, though they didn't show it.

Nonetheless, the conversation that needed to happen started itself off with the new arrival himself. "Greetings fellow agents of Hellsing. I hope my arrival does not cause any issues here." The man spoke politely.

"Uhhh yeah, you actually a-OFF!"

"It is not actually."

Kuroh politely replied to the mysterious man as he elbowed Vali on the stomach from making a rude comment. He didn't want this arrival to think ill of them nor did he find it appropriate. Vali angrily glanced at Kuroh who ignored him in favor of the man. "We are just surprised by your visit, may I ask who you are and why have you come here?" Kuroh asked the man.

From what he could sense, Kuroh could tell this man belonged to the supernatural world due to sensing energies connected with said world inside of him. Not to mention the way he dressed wasn't something any ordinary man would dress up as unless they were attending a cosplay event, whilst the butler-like warrior had to wonder how he had managed to get through airport security looking the way he did. However, his outfit also made him suspect he had connections to England due to it resembling plague doctors from Europe.

Apparently realizing the situation himself, the man soon began to introduce himself while taking off his hat and placing it over his chest where his heart would be. "Ah yes. Forgive me monsieur." he said, lowering his head in a greeting way. "My name is Michel Nostradamus the third, I am the direct descendent of the original Michel Nostradamus, my ancestor."

Kuroh widened his eyes before putting his hand on his chin in a thoughtful gesture. "Ahh French you say?" he muttered, though the room was quiet enough for the rest of the occupants to hear him regardless.

"Auriez-vous suffisamment de preuves (Do you have enough evidence)?" The man now named Michel Nostradamus questioned in French.

Kuroh responds back to him. "Non merci. J'aime assez le français et l'Angleterre(No thanks. I'm rather fond of both France and England)." Kuroh spoke back to him in French. They both nod their head which signals that both of them have a connection and become fast friends.

Off to the side, Mio looked on in fascination at their language exchange, her gut telling her that something significant had happened that she couldn't quite grasp just yet. She couldn't help but feel like there was more to this like she had heard from Meredith's lectures. Part of her wondered if she could ever pay a visit to London despite Hellsing's dark reputation, though something told her that would be a long way off yet. They still had a load of problems to sort out in Japan like her mystery attackers, her bloodline, the possible retaliation from the Hero Clan, politics etc.

However, one person did NOT look too impressed by the whole exchange through multi-languages that were going on, and that person wasn't afraid to vocalize it. "Oi! Enough with the gibberish! I'm barely understanding what you're saying idiot!" Vali rudely talked to Kuroh to which he gave the silver-haired boy an annoyed glance which he ignored as well.

Michel took his luggage, rammed through his stuff before taking out a letter which on the stamp had a Hellsing emblem on it. Kuroh raised an eyebrow before taking the letter. Knowing he needed to clarify things, Michel promptly began to explain the situation. "I have been assigned by the leader of the London branch Sir Integra Hellsing as a doctor's position but in most cases a medic. Her apprentice should've informed you I was arriving."

Almost immediately, the air became unsettling as the rest of Hellsing froze for a moment, stunned at his explanation to the point where they didn't have time to reply back to him. Kuroh turned his head sideways with an uncertain expression, Vali had a thoughtful look, Mio was twiddling her thumbs while also looking uncertain as well.

Eventually, Arthur spoke to him. "We haven't heard from Meredith for a while, two weeks most certainly." he glanced in the direction where Meredith's office is. "But that's not all, we also lost contact with another one of ours as well." When he said that Mio expression was replaced with worried.

Michel the third didn't show anything thanks to his Mask hiding his face, but from his body language, it was easy to guess that he seemed confused by this development. "I see." he mused thoughtfully.

Maria decided to change the subject, she wasn't paying attention rather she was curious at the blanket covering some sort of a cage. "Hey doc! What's in that cage?" she questioned with a mischievous smile on her face. Especially with the rather raunchy ideas involving cages springing up into her mind. "Are you hiding something important? Like some equipment for your taste?" her words exciting her own imagination, the succubus's smile became wider and increasingly primitive before she continued. "Or is it that your smuggling some erotic novels that your waiting to read."

Nostradamus was unfazed by her words as he did not show any emotions thanks to his mask. Mio blushed at what Maria said when certain images rammed through her mind, Vali having a hand on his nose in annoyance while shuddering at those insinuations. Beside him, Kuroka had a catty smile since she had similar thought processes to Maria. Kuroh and Arthur shook their heads in frustration at the Succubus' thoughts.

They (Maria and Kuroka) just didn't know when to keep their minds out of the gutter.

Michel took the covered cage and put it on the table before uncovering the mystery.

"Oh my god!"

"Is that what I think it is?!"

"Sweet mother of England!"

"Oh my Goodness!"

"Nya?! What are they?"

"It's so…..so…...cute!"

There in the cage was what looked like a two medium-to-large-size canid. It looked like a crossbreed of a tiger with the tiger stripes on the back of the creature and a wolf-like face. It had a long tail and wolf-like feet.

It was a Thylacine, or better known as a Tasmanian tiger.

The Thylacine, upon being able to do so, started looking around at the new environment it now found itself in before looking at the stunned Hellsing group.

Mio gushed over the Thylacine despite its deadly nature, as a female with an in-built love of cute things.

Arthur had his glasses dropped down to the ground at the stunned revelation of an extinct animal.

Vali looked surprised at its unusual figure and Kuroh was both stunned and surprised at the site of a well-known extinct animal.

"H…(CLEAR THROAT) how did you become in possession of this?" Kuroh asked Michel in an almost surprised tone before adjusting himself and looking professionally at the doctor, it would be unsettling for a gentleman to act like a stunned fool.

Michel answered. "This was a gift from my master. She gave this creature to me as both research and as a final lesson to learn more of the Thylacine nature and body anatomy." He explained, opening the cage to pick up the Thylacine to which it soothed itself within its master's embrace.

"I see." Kuroh examines the Thylacine for a bit before returning back to his seat. Clearly, it's not his business when Michel says it's his final lesson so he'll respect his boundaries, and also learn more about this extremely rare creature.

Whilst the creature curled up in his arms, Michel stood up and then walked on over to Mio who looked to be still gushing over the Thylacine. She sensed Michel was walking in her direction and gazed at his mask. The doctor did not say anything to her for a while before handing the Thylacine to her.

Mio was surprised by what Michel was doing. "Huh?" she looked at the curled-up Thylacine and back to Michel the third. "W-why are you giving me the Thylacine?" she asked him in confusion.

"Quite simple. It's been in captivity for quite a while, so I need a human subject who could help me research more on the Thylacine nature regarding the relationship of a human presence." Michel answered her question, prompting Mio to finally grasp the creature in her arms which caused her eyes to start sparkling more intensely.

While this was going on, Michel got up from his seat. "May I ask where I shall be residing?" Michel asked Kuroh for which room he will be staying at.

Kuroh gestured his hand to Arthur. "He will take you to your room, it's on the first floor. We have plenty of spare rooms to offer, pick which one you would like to take." Kuroh asked the doctor to see which room he would like to reside in.

"I would like to have two rooms of my own if that would be possible." Michel requested Kuroh.

"Two rooms?" Kuroh repeated what he said to make sure he understood what he was saying. He didn't get what he meant by having two rooms but he got his answer when Nostradamus explained his reason.

"I have noticed that this manor lacks a proper medical room. I am a doctor and it is my job to oversee the hospitality of all of your wounds or injuries. The more use of magic healing would mean less mana available for other matters." Michel explained his reason to Kuroh who nodded in understanding of the doctor's reasoning.

From his previous experience Kuroh and the group had expended a significant portion of power for healing during their battles, which more often or not left them more drained depending on the injuries they had suffered. They'd been relying on this method because none of them had the experience and expertise needed for healing injuries without mana.

"I will see to it at once." Kuroh got his phone out and prepared to call in some constructive workers to remodel a room for Michels medic room. He's acting as the de facto leader of Hellsing since Meredith had not come out of her room for two weeks, of which he knew not the reason why although he had a suspicion it was to do with Theseus somehow since he hadn't returned for some time. "Is there anything else you need?"

"Yes, I would like to conduct a medical check up on all of you. I want to make sure all of you have not contracted any disease or more untreated wounds which could become infected." He calmly requested, of which Kuroh once more nodded his head in acknowledgement. While none of them had been injured as of late it was always a good idea to perform regular checkups in case something HAD happened and they weren't aware of it. He had heard of cases where Hellsing operatives got unknowingly poisoned and died in their sleep days later.

To that end, the male then turned to a certain person who had a number of untreated wounds, wounds of which he knew where he'd gotten them.

Off to the side, Vali sensed someone was glaring at him and saw it was Kuroh. "What?"

"Nothing." Kuroh turned back to Michel. "Anyway is that all?"

"Yes." Michel answered Kuroh. The samurai knew what he was going to do so Arthur followed his action and got up from his seat and prepared to take him to his room. "I shall be in my room for the time being, until then I shall my leave, monsieur." he bowed to Kuroh before Arthur began to lead him to his room, leaving the Hellsing group alone.

Now that they had a new resident in the manor that had been settled in, everyone was about to leave the room and head towards their usual routines.

That is, until one of them decided to add in something and this person just so happened to be Vali. "You know I wouldn't give most of the crap about her, but that woman's been in there for half a month." Vali directed his gaze towards upstairs as his brows furrowed. "Shouldn't someone at least check on Meredith?"

The silver haired boy made some sense to the people of Hellsing here. Kuroh did not insult Vali when he brought up such a good point. Ever since she had returned from the trip to the Shinto representative, Meredith had been locked inside her office and thus hadn't come out save for when it was truly necessary like attending the University. Then there were the lessons ingrained into Mio of which Mio conducted them with her usual professional demeanor at first. Aside from those matters, none of them had seen her leave not even to get something to eat or drink with some of them even hearing sounds of papers shuffling well into the night.

Initially, none of this had been anything out of the ordinary for the woman, not in their eyes at least. However, the more time passed the more irregularities began to show like faint traces of bags under her eyes that Mio had to squint REALLY hard to notice whenever they did their private lessons. Further problems came in the form of increasingly strange behavior like her having more tea than normal, or the shuffling sounds going on all night which had become increasingly common over the last two weeks.

Despite these signs, none of them had gone over to Meredith's office to check up on her before now because usually she was always so busy she would require most of her attention to her work, it would take at least four or five days for her to finish. Hence, they hadn't suspected her to possess any anomalies in her behavior until the last 2 days when they'd gotten together one time when they were all free and discussed about her, each of them learning of those previously mentioned irregularities.

At this point, the worry had spread throughout the group to the point where it became impossible to ignore and a significant thorn in their daily lives due to it constantly being on their minds. It had gotten so bad that even the delinquent Vali had to step in to bring it to light and for that to happen showcased just how bad it had gotten.

There were currently two guesses as to what had happened to their de-facto leader, either it had to do with something between her and the Shinto's and if it was, then Kuroh and Vali needed to pay that rep a visit. There were very few things that Hellsing tolerated, and harassing their members was NOT one of them with one example being when some random idiot priest mocked Integra by calling her a sow when Alucard had been around. Since that Priest hadn't been someone noteworthy in the Church faction, Alucard had been allowed to do whatever he pleased to entertain himself with him. Nobody ever heard from that Priest ever again.

Then there was the more likely option that she must be working on a very big project, likely in that it fit in line with her usual work ethic. Her work ethic had been one of the most commendable traits about her according to many higher ranking officials in Hellsing's various departments, something noted even by Sir Integra herself as being similar to that guy Napoleon who single handedly became a french emperor through hard work and determination. Not to mention one of the few french officials which the Hellsing genuinely respected.

Whatever it was, it wouldn't hurt to check.

"Alright." Kuroh got up from his seat as he made the decision. "I'll go and check with her." he glanced over to Kuroka who was crossing her legs while rubbing her face with her hands before licking it like a cat. "Kuroka you're with me."

"Nya?" Kuroka said in confusion. She processed what Kuroh was going to do before shaking her head. "No way nya. There's no way I'll go with you nya. You can go without me nya." she whined, arguing she doesn't want to go with Kuroh.

"Fine, guess that when Theseus would come back then I would unexpectedly say who ate his fishes back when he got back fro-"

"NYA! LET'S GO! DON'T WANT THE BOSS LADY TO BE KEPT WAITING!" Kuroka jumped like a cat(which she was) and quickly walked up to the stairs. She would rather not face the wrath of Theseus' fury because one time she did so when she stole his fish…...let's just say it scared her for life.

Kuroh glanced at Vali before saying. "You owe me for this Vali." he said to him with a smug tone, making the white dragon emperor have veins showing on his forehead as his anger reached his top limit.

If there's one thing he hated the most is owing butler boy Kuroh a favor.

Back to where Kuroh and Kuroka were, the duo walked through the halls of the manor looking casual except for Kuroka who was stretching her arms over her head, further punctuating her breasts though it didn't seem like she was aware of it.

Kuroh was not paying attention to her actions either, and focused on the matter at hand. His gaze remained as blade-like as ever in terms of sharpness while his lips flattened into a line

Soon enough they arrived before the entrance to Meredith's office, which looked like a double-sided door. They stared at the door for a while, before Kuroh decided to knock on the door.

KNOCK-KNOCK!

"Meredith? Are you in there?" Kuroh asked Meredith through the door, seeing if he's getting any response from the other side, but so far there wasn't any response. Kuroh narrowed his eyes before knocking on the door again. "Meredith?" he called her name again in a suspicious tone.

"Nya. The boss lady seems to be quiet for some reason." Kuroka added her opinion. The Nekoshou was looking confused since Meredith responded back but there was no sound coming from the room.

Now more than a little concerned, Kuroh once more knocked on the door again, there was no answer from the other side. "Meredith, just let you know I'm coming." he called to her once more before twisting the handle and opening the door.

Just as the door began to open, Kuroh entered the room and widened his eyes at the sight of it.

Kuroka was looking confused about what he was looking at before following his gaze. "Nya, what the matter now Kuro-NYA!" she shouted in surprise to see what she was looking at. She recoiled back a step.

Meredith's room looked literally like a massive bomb had been set off here. Documents could be seen scattered across the ground, on the table, it essentially looked like someone had tried to replace the floor with paper for some reason. Tableware had been tossed all over the place with some looking like they'd needed replacing with a lot of them looking like they'd been tossed about quite violently. Forks impaled the walls and ceiling with some knives and spoons weirdly enough. Add in the fact that there were a lot of coffee cups around the room, and one could get a clear picture of the sheer chaos this room looked to represent.

Kuroka took a few sniffs.

SNIFF-SNIFF!

"NYA! It stinks here!" she exclaimed after a few seconds of being unable to handle the stench that permeated the place like some kind of toxic gas, gripping her nose by it's nostrils with one hand while uncomfortably examining Meredith's office. "It's like she hasn't taken a shower for a long time! It reeks in here..." she whined pitifully, though one could understand when they considered her feline senses which were stronger than a human's combined with the stench.

Kuroh did not respond to Kuroka, still in a similar state of shock at what lay before him. He honestly couldn't believe what he was seeing, more than that he couldn't imagine that someone as organized as Meredith would even CONSIDER allowing her office to get this bad. "What the hell happened here?" he questioned himself, slowly and slightly reluctantly striding into the room. This never happened to Meredith before ever in her life, from what he'd seen of her Kuroh had the impression that she was an iron-willed woman, trained by Sir Integra of Hellsing and granddaughter of Queen Elizabeth. Something like this never would have happened to her under normal circumstances.

Whatever happened to her must've been PARTICULARLY strong if it were capable of piercing her will like this.

While thinking this, Kuroh arched a brow when heard some snores close to him before he then recognized they came from Meredith. He quickly followed the sound and there he saw Meredith laying face down on the floor, sleeping like a baby. Kneeling beside her, Kuroh turned Meredith around and placed her on her back instead, allowing Kuroh to gaze at Meredith's sleeping figure before he spoke. "Oh God, this is worse than I expected her to be. Shit, what the hell happened to you Meredith?" Kuroh muttered, though the recipient wouldn't respond in her slumbering state.

By this point, his actions had alerted Nekoshou and drew her to his position. This allowed Kuroka to witness the state of her boss and the sight elected a pitiful expression from her. "Meredith..." she called her name in a sad tone. The Nekoshou soon lost any signs of her usually playful mood, the sight of her leader looking like she had been through hell rapidly bringing a somber mood out from her.

Knowing that this room hardly sufficed for someone of her status to rest in at this point, Kuroh slowly put his arms beneath his superior and picked her up in a bridal carry. He glanced at Kuroka with a firm gaze while issuing the following demands of her. "Have Arthur call the cleaners Kuroka and tell everyone what has happened, we are having another meeting."

"Understood." Kuroka responded to Kuroh with the same serious tone and expression, despite her mischievous nature and playful personality she knew when to be serious when the situation called for it. This DEFINITELY fulfilled the conditions for such a scenario.

Kuroh nodded his head to Kuroka before leaving the room and walking fast towards where the doctor was residing.

It seemed he would get a first patient on his first day in Hellsing.

He walked down the stairs and through the halls before finding some movement behind a pair of double doors that led to their medical room, something which had been vacant since their arrival though Meredith had insisted it be maintained just in case. He opened the door without hesitation and saw Michel sitting by his desk, organizing his medical equipment before he had walked in.

After raising his head the man noticed Kuroh and quickly got surprised by his visit. That surprise only lasted a couple seconds though, from the moment that the doctor was about to ask what had happened he saw Meredith held in Kuroh's arms and instantly knew what he needed to do. He promptly stood up from his desk and slid his arm across a nearby table, making the stuff drop from it before he went and slid the table to the middle of the room. "Put her on the table. I need to do a full medical check-up."

Kuroh did as Michel told him, he laid her on the table while putting a pillow under her head. Nostradamus got his old medical doctor's bag, opened it, and grabbed some medical tools.

"Leave us." He ordered Kuroh which he did. Doctors' orders were always a priority, second to leaders.

Once he exited out of the door, he walked away from Michel's room and soon arrived at the living room. There, he only saw Vali leaning forward with his fingers interlocked on the sofa, he did not show his expression to Kuroh but the butler boy knew what's going on in his mind.

"Am I always going to be the first one to say it, Kuroh?" Vali bluntly questioned his fellow Hellsing agent without insulting or calling him by any degrading nicknames. Right now, their little squabbles would have to wait because by now Vali was already informed what had happened.

"No, you won't have to." Kuroh replied back to Vali.

Vali was silent for a few moments before he took a deep breath and exhaled. "Things have been escalating Kuroh. Many problems are happening, so much stuff to do and most of all." Vali lifts his head to Kuroh with his stoic face towards him. "Personal issues."

Kuroh did not respond back to Vali, as he did not need to speak. He listened to Vali's little lecture and rant.

"When we came to Kuoh city, there were multiple issues and potential problems we kept encountering. First is Satan's daughter, second is that damn Hero clan, third is those multiple sacred gear users we found in the city, fourth is the fallen angels." He explained, holding out a hand and curling a finger into a fist for each issue listed. "1, 2, 3, 4 I can count many issues alongside their branching ones with the tips of my fingers." Vali got up from his seat and walked to Kuroh until he was about face to face with him.

Slowly, a strong and intense silence filled the living room as the two men gazed intently at one another. One had a stoic face while the other had little frustration. One might see them and think they were a pair of gay guys about to make out… if they had peas for brains that ignored the intense feelings of frustration and rage pouring out of them in waves.

"Face it Kuroh it's like the world either wants us to be gone or fix the whole damn planet."

"...You are not wrong Vali." Kuroh finally responded by taking a step back before pulling out an old cigar, one which he put in his mouth and took out a lighter from his pocket. Just as he was about to light his cigar, he couldn't for some reason which only irked him further. Nevertheless, Kuroh blew through his nostrils to relieve himself of his pent-up stress. "Meredith looks terrible, and Theseus is missing. I doubt he wants to be found and now like you said things are escalating."

Vali snarled, gritting his teeths before swishing his head on one side. "I fucking hate this mission and I hate this fucking place." He cursed loudly before again turning to Kuroh. "Screw Integra's orders, the sooner we finish our job here, the faster we can leave this hellhole."

"And not get the chance to see if the red dragon emperor is here in Kuoh city?"

"ARE YOU EVEN LISTENING TO ME IDIOT!" Vali finally snapped, exploding into a fit of ranting at Kuroh with anger and fury burning in his eyes and in his tone. "WHAT GOOD IS TO FIGHT A USELESS WEAKLING WHO IS EITHER A HIGH SCHOOL OR MIDDLE SCHOOL PUSSY WHO DOESN'T KNOW HOW TO EVEN THROW A FIST! EVEN IF I WERE TO FIND THE HOST WHAT WILL BE THE OUTCOME, WHAT WILL IT BE?! YOU ALREADY KNOW THE ANSWER YATOGAMI!"

Kuroh kept his calm demeanor, not getting into an argument with Vali since there are many things already happening for the past week. He's good at keeping his emotions in check, however, unlike Vali who is being overwhelmed right now couldn't think straight.

Ignoring this, Vali continued his angry rant. "For god's sake Kuroh, think for a moment and tell me how things have been getting out of control and we can't do a damn single thing! I would rather leave and go fight against Alucard for all I care!"

At this point, Kuroh finally spoke to Vali and when he did it may as well have rung the death tolls for Vali's fury. "Then tell me what we should do with Mio. Don't forget that it is our duty to protect her from the future threats coming for her head. Are you also going to blame her for most of our problems? On the half-demon, who is similar to you?" He asked Vali a single question about the redhead girl, a rather touchy subject to be sure but one significantly more sensitive for Vali considering she was in a situation that reminded him of himself.

Immediately after hearing it, Vali flinched at his question especially when he couldn't respond right away. He grit his teeth so hard it could crack before he slumped, showing a tired expression that spoke volumes about his current feelings, all the things that were happening right now could break a man if he wasn't careful. "She can't be with us Kuroh, she can't. It's a cursed life." he gripped his golden pendant, a birthday gift from Theseus and something which took Kuroh's attention briefly, him recalling very few times that Vali actually parted with it. He may have tried keeping it hidden under his clothes, but the other male's sharp gaze had picked up on it long ago. "The longer she's with us, the more the world throws it's shit at us. She's a greenhorn to this…..this side of the world. You know as well as I do how many factions wish Hellsing gone and they might be correct."

"?!"

Now THIS took his colleague by storm as evident by his sudden loss of his composed demeanor in favor of a face of stunned bewilderment. Kuroh couldn't believe what Vali had said just now. This is the highest tier of insult he could ever have said before, the years they spent together in Hellsing, now he says it might be right that Hellsing would be gone? Did everything they'd gone through mean nothing to him? Thoughts of their past together filled Kuroh's mind as he wondered this amidst the flames of indignation that spewed forth into existence behind him only fanned further by those memories.

As a result, Kuroh narrowed his eyes in anger and glared heatedly at the silver haired male with clenched fists, looking one moment away from drawing on his power and crushing Vali where he sat immediately. "You don't have the right to sa-" he began to speak.

"I do and I'm saying this right now to your face, Kuroh!" But before he could finish, Vali interrupted Kuroh with that same weary tone even if there was a slight edgier tone to it. The silver haired hybrid shook his head before turning sideways showing a melancholy emotion. "Just listen to me for once Kuroh. I did once hold that thought in mind, once. How many death threats? How many assassination attempts have there been on Integra's head?" he conjured a magic circle, put his hand on the circle to start rummaging through it that lasted for a while.

After that passed, Vali pulled from the circle a file before he handed it to Kuroh to take a look at it and see what he seemed to mean. Kuroh took the file from Vali's hand and opened it before recoiling his back in shock, his eyes widened to see Sir Integra's picture with a big red stamp across her face which says "Kill on-site" and the amount of money the file had on it.

Let's just say that it was enough to last a lifetime and STILL have enough to finance the futures of several generations.

"See what I mean?" Vali called to Kuroh, getting his attention. He did not speak any words out of his mouth nor did he speak a single sentence. Now he could understand what Vali was trying to say. "I found this on one of the assassin's corpses, just before they burned the body I managed to retrieve the file before it was incinerated. We'll never achieve a happy ending for our lives Kuroh, combine it with being a part of Hellsing and it's safe to say they will spit on our graves and history will make sure we were forgotten forever."

For once, Kuroh got rendered silent by the intelligence behind Vali's words with his previous rage being replaced by somber realization. What the silver-haired male said wasn't wrong and there was indeed proof of this now, they would indeed not be remembered fondly for their deeds after they inevitably succumb to the sweet release of death, in fact, they'd likely be forgotten in an attempt to erase the 'stains' on history like many political figures, movements and celebrities have been trying to do.

It wasn't something one could readily accept, and for someone like Vali who had greater goals than just fighting the strongest foes it must have been a tough pill to swallow.

Unaware of these thoughts, Vali pointed in a random direction but continued to speak. "Those girls Mio and Maria, if they continue to be with us it will happen to them as well. We can either find a different place or person to protect them like the Norse or Hindus then they will be free from our influence, Hellsing's influence." Vali began to turn around, walking away from Kuroh. Kuroh stared at Vali's back just as the silver-haired boy stopped before glancing at Kuroh. "It's for her own safety and to avoid history marking her as one of us. Hellsing will forever be my home, I will never forget that. But even Alucard can't be there to protect Sir Integra, one day death will come for us. Think of the decision you, Theseus, and Meredith would be. I will follow it of course, if you guys choose to keep Mio around…she will be known as the whore of Hellsing similar to the whore of Babylon." Vali spoke the words 'whore of Hellsing' with a heavy tone.

Not to be rude here, Vali wasn't insulting Mio or even Maria despite her antics. No, it was more like he was declaring what might be her future title. He knew well how the supernatural world worked and he knew many would look at the redhead, see her as one of the only girls in a team dominated by guys (practically ignoring Maria and Meredith) then label her as some femme fatelle who seduced them into being her bodyguards. It wasn't something that was uncommon in their world either, he'd heard tales and had even seen some cases of where this exactly happened, girls hanging out with guys of various races and being labelled negatively for it. It happened with guys too, though in their case they'd be labelled as homo's for preferring other male company to members of the opposite sex.

Kuroh stoically stared at the white dragon emperor's retreating figure, the said male having left the living room to try and cool himself after all had been said and done. Once the male had gone out of sight, Kuroh heaved a heavy sigh before he slumped down onto the couch, putting his hand on his forehead to soothe the headache he's feeling about all the things Vali told him about. He couldn't even think straight now and the worst part is, he's even thinking about Hellsings doom. He still had the file on his knee, he just….just don't know what to do.

Another sigh left his lips moments later as Kuroh put his head down in defeat, almost like a broken man. Nevertheless, the moment he gazed at the folder his eyes hardened once more with a tint of resignation behind them. What Vali had said may not be wrong, but he still needed to keep going. Finish the order their leader had given them to comply, get this job done. But even so, he can't just shake the feeling that Hellsing would be destroyed one day.

God smite the wicked, an old reference priest and monks say.

Unknown to them, there was someone else nearby, hiding behind a nearby wall listening to their conversation.

That person turned out to be the very same person whom Vali and Kuroh had been discussing the potential fate of: Mio Naruse. Mio had gotten the news from Kuroka about what had happened to her teacher not too long ago and had been struggling to wrap her head around what the circumstances she'd faced could have been. From what Mio had known about her, Meredith wasn't the type of woman to let even the most stressful political matters get her down like this, so hearing that her teacher had been reduced to that state had taken a number on the poor girl.

Eventually, she had left her room to go on a stroll throughout the base to try and clear her head when she heard some screaming, she came to check and saw it was Vali. She had been about to approach them but she chose to hide instead, listening to their conversation. She heard every single word Vali spoke about the curse of being with Hellsing, of how her future may never be what she wanted it to be as long as she stayed with them. Her sadness, her fear and despair combined all together into one big horrific mix within her stomach, making her feel lower than even an ant.

Her hair hid her eyes behind a mass of bangs, but one could still see how tears were streaming down her cheeks like a waterfall.

What Vali said… she couldn't see the fault in such logic, Mio had long since been aware of the fact that Hellsing wasn't seen in the brightest of lights, heck even the name didn't connotate anything good in favor of sounding more monstrous and sinister. Therefore, such an organization was bound to have enemies from all over trying to take it down, trapping it and those affiliated with it in a never ending cycle of carnage and conflict. It made sense to consider the fact that one's fate would not be a nice one should they stick to Hellsing, and Vali wasn't kidding when he mentioned about the reputation of her being slandered by others. She had already started hearing small rumors throughout the university about this very same topic started by some of the jealous fangirls that had formed around the guys of the group. They compared her to a harlot and a 'thot' as the internet slang defined a girl surrounded by guys as, which resulted in her not making too many friends outside Hellsing.

She had already started seeing the effects and consequences of allying with Hellsing tarnishing her reputation, and if there was one thing she knew it was that one's reputation dictated their opportunities in life. Just look at politicians and high-ranking officials caught in scandals, or famous people who put a lot of effort into their crafts suddenly being canceled for things they've said years ago. Mio had wanted to have a normal life, but as long as she stayed with Hellsing that dream may remain such a dream.

But, even so…

"Is…is this how you feel Theseus?" she whispered to herself in a quiet tone. She slowly slid down to the ground and was in a W-sitting. She leaned forward while placing her hand on her heart. "Is this… what you've been going through? Is this what you've been trying to keep me away from this whole time?" she whispered more, her lower lip trembling alongside her body.

As bad as things were for her, it was likely way worse for Theseus and the others, though she mostly focused on him due to the amount of advice and support he'd given her since they first met. Him being the one who brought her to Hellsing in the first place, gave her a home amongst their ranks albeit under protective custody. Him and his crew had been with Hellsing much longer than she ever had so they probably were trapped by this point, but she wasn't and Vali's words made her realize this. Not to mention they informed her of how he wished she wouldn't be associated with them not out of malicious intent, but to protect her from the horrors they were bound to face and likely would without any thanks from those they protected.

It wouldn't be long before the rest of the supernatural world discovered her association with Hellsing, and when that happened she may as well kiss her dreams of a normal life goodbye. That was the fact she had come to understand from this debate and it shook her down to her core, made her want to run and hide to pretend she hadn't heard anything so she could continue living in blissful ignorance…

Except she couldn't, not now not ever.

Aside from it degrading her intelligence which had helped her and Maria stay off the grid for all these years, Mio also didn't like the thought of hiding away from this problem and leaving it to others to deal with the fallout for her. It made her feel like a pathetic coward who only ran from her problems even when she had the means to learn how to stand up for herself, something which Theseus and the others likely had to do as well.

Also… what was the point of having a normal life if she couldn't live one the way she wanted?

Thinking about it, there were many similarities to accompany the differences between the human and supernatural worlds with one being reputation being a deciding factor in how one could find opportunity. Strength was more prominent in the latter but it was still a major thing, one can't just separate the two since they were interchangeable. This meant that for better or worse the 'normal' she had enjoyed growing up just wasn't going to happen anymore… though there was a big question: what WAS normal?

Her answer came to her quicker than she'd thought, that being that her current situation WAS pretty much her new 'normal' due to how hectic it was. She'd lived a hectic nomadic lifestyle for years now, missing out on her teenage years due to the relentless pursuit of various adversaries. Thus, as long as they were around and she was in her current weak state, Mio likely wouldn't ever be able to live a 'normal' life she concluded.

Which meant she needed strength, connections, resources etc to build herself into a force that could stand on her own two feet… things which Hellsing provided alongside safety, assurance and strong camaraderie. She'd seen it herself first hand, especially from Theseus who had repeatedly defended her and came to her aid when she needed it.

Even now she thinks that Theseus would deny it as he was supportive of her in almost everything, he protected her multiple times, not even caring she's a spawn of Satan himself and even citing to the hero clan members they are idiots who believe killing her is the only way to save the world.

She leaned forwards while still keeping her hand on her heart as her thoughts focused away from her goals down to one person in particular. She knew all too well how brutal the blond haired boy could be to his enemies, sadistically cutting apart body parts, letting them suffer while they slowly died in pain and agony, or torture them like he had done to those three hero clan members. There had been times when she could still remember their screams. A beast Theseus was, but despite all those traits she'd seen and how they were likely part of the entire organization, how can a beast like him still show such humanity? The times he spent with her and the Hellsing showed her something: that even a beast may have more humanity than they may display, that even a monster may experience emotions, that even Devils may cry when hurting inside.

A spectral image of Theseus could be seen beside her as Mio thought all of this, looking down at Mio's crying state. She could feel his spiritual presence, something which made a small smile form on her trembling lips despite herself. Of course the male wasn't really there, but it's like he's always there, even spiritually protecting her from all the threats they faced.

He may not call himself it, but Mio could definitely call him more of a protector than he'd realized.

Realizing this, a small flame of warmth sprouted in her chest that quickly burst into a small bonfire, spreading a strange heat through her body. She could feel it especially in her cheeks which now emitted a crimson hue at the thought of seeing Theseus again, seeing that strong and determined frame that had been a safe haven for her even within Hellsing. She imagined how he'd give her advice bluntly and without consideration for feelings, how he'd support her with actions not just words, and whenever he did say things he usually backed them up.

Yeah… perhaps the 'normal' life she wanted wasn't so far out of reach after all. She was just looking in the wrong place.

A normal life was defined by the person, not a collective. One could consider a life on the streets their version of normal because they've lived it for so long, though they may want to change that. It just meant that there were things about their 'normal' that people wanted to change to improve it, and she could definitely think of a few things she wanted to change. But to do that, she needed not only strength, but the will to carry herself forward. The life of a teenager could still be open to her, but she wouldn't run from the supernatural side either, for she fit into BOTH worlds as a hybrid of Human and Demon. This life she had now… yeah, she wouldn't be trading it for the world.

But there were those who would try to take it from her, who forced her out of her previous normal and were currently living without punishment. THAT had to change, and to do that she would have to prepare to eventually get even with them… that meant sticking with Hellsing to the end. She didn't mind not being thanked by the masses, nope she'd already seen how the 'masses' were truly like already. No, what she focused on was the fact she had some good people around her willing to help her stand on her own two feet…

All because of one boy, no, one MAN who brought her to this twisted paradise…
