It took Theo near a month to 'fix it.' Just long enough that he was forced to watch his Hufflepuff go to the Yule Ball with Adrian Pucey (the horror).
But several apologies, and even more Butterbeers, cleaned the slate and soon they were back to scheming.
"Snape? You really think he's the best to deal with Crouch?"
"Better than Dumbledore, especially if it's one of his snakes pointing out the polyjuice flask."
Theo snorted, "please, you're Snape's favorite by a long shot."
"Really?!"
"Don't sound so excited," Theo mumbled jealously, "but, yes, you are."
