Some cave to parental bias, some follow friends or family, and some make a calculated decision to align themselves with the most underestimated house in a bid for safety and security. 144. Summer 1997

"She is joining."

"But she's a child."

Her mom scoffed, "no she's not, not in my culture or yours."

"Still, she's a student!"

"I'm not going back to Hogwarts."

Mrs. Weasley turned to her parents, waiting for them to jump in. Her father just shrugged. "Little moon has told us of her plans. They are well reasoned."

Horrified eyes fixed on her parents. "But, she has to-"

Magic cackled in the air as her parents glared Mrs. Weasley into submission. Her father then turned to the rest of the Order.

"My daughter joins, or we leave."
