Ten years after Atlantis had been raised from the bottom of the ocean, a ten-year-old girl was flying around the city on one of the flying machines.
"The place is looking more beautiful by the day," said the girl.
"Thalassa!" called a guard who flew up to her.
"Your father needs you to return to the palace, he has something urgent that he must discuss with you," she said while they hovered next to each other.
"Thanks for letting me know, I'll head back right away," said Thalassa before heading in that direction. Once there, she went straight to the throne room.
"You wanted to see me, father?" she asked.
"Yes, there is some news that I need to tell you and I also need a favor from you," said Milo while getting off the throne where he had been reading some reports and walking over to hug his daughter.
"As you know, kids from five major countries will be coming tomorrow for the student exchange program that we have opened with the world," said Milo.
"I want you to show them around and be there for them in case something comes up," he said.
"Sure, it gives me a chance to meet kids from the outside world," said Thalassa.
"I'm sorry that you had to stay here while your mother travels so much, I know that you really want to see the outside world and all of the things it has to offer," said Milo while placing a hand on her shoulder.
"It's alright dad, but I do plan to go see the world after graduating from high school, it could help me become a better queen later on," said Thalassa.
"As you should," said Milo before hugging his daughter.
"Now then, go prepare for the exchange students' arrival tomorrow," he said.
"I promise that it'll be the best welcoming you have ever seen," said Thalassa before running off to get started.
"I'm sure it will be," said Milo with a smile.
