Drew watched the man and woman sitting a little in front of him on a blue and white plaid blanket. He had been listening to them for a while. So far he knew their names were Damian and Arizona, and that Damian did not like the beach one bit.

Damian kept complaining about everything while Arizona kept taking it in stride. Drew was amazed how the beauty with long, curly, black hair could keep taking it without blowing up. He felt sorry for her. She had to be used to it by now. His eyes ran down her body and scanned it for the rainbow pattern bikini once again.

"I got sand between my toes," Damian complained.
"It's part of being at the beach," Arizona said.
"And in my ass crack!" Damian whined.
"Go take a swim and wash it off," Arizona said.
"But the water might be cold," Damian said.

Drew choked back a laughter at the complaining man in front of him. All Damian's complaints were silly. Clearly the man didn't like the beach, yet he had still chosen to go there.

"I want ice cream," Damian said.

Drew almost burst out laughing again. Damian sounded like a child begging for snacks from his mother. Still Arizona kept her composure and didn't blow up over the man next to her. It was tragicomic to watch.

"Go buy an ice cream then," Arizona said.
"It's too expensive," Damian said.
"Go beg for one like a dog then. It might work," Arizona said.

Drew bit down on his hand. He hadn't expected that line to come from Arizona. He could already picture Damian on his hands and knees with his tongue hanging out, begging for ice cream.

"Fuck you," Damian stood up. "I'm going for a swim."
"You do that," Arizona said.

Damian walked out in the ocean until the water covered him to his stomach. He turned around and looked back at Arizona.

"It's disgusting!" Damian yelled. "There's jellyfish in it! And I'm sure children have peed here today! How many dead bodies have traveled through this water? Am I standing in rotten flesh and killer crabs?"

Arizona let out a sigh loud enough for Drew to hear.

"If you were mine," Drew muttered.

He had meant to think that sentence. He quickly pressed his lips together and hoped she didn't hear it. She turned her head and looked at him. Her crystal green eyes stared right at him.

"Then what?" She asked.
"Huh?" He asked.
"If I was yours, then what?" She asked.

He licked his dry lips and laughed nervously.

"I didn't mean to say that out loud," he said.
"But you did," she smirked. "So finish the story, pretty boy."
"You think I'm pretty?" He beamed.
"I also called you a boy," she said.
"I just heard you called me pretty so that's a win to me," he said.

She let out a laugh and he was surprised at her beautiful smile. She turned around on the blanket to better look at him.

"Alright, I owe you some sort of answer," he said. "If you were mine, I sure wouldn't treat you like he does."
"I sure hope not since he's my brother, and I don't do the things to him that I picture myself doing to you right now," she said.
"He's your brother?" He asked. "Wait, what? What did you just say? What do you picture doing to me?"

She smirked secretly at him and it suddenly felt hard to breathe. It was like she was looking right into his heart and soul. This beautiful woman could devour him all she wanted. He would take anything she would throw at him as long as he got to be with her.

"Drew," he croaked.
"Huh?" She asked.

He cleared his throat and put on his best smile.

"My name is Drew," he said.
"Oh," she giggled. "I'm Arizona."
"Can I take you out for a drink? Once the drink is done, we can either order one more and plan to go out for dinner, or you can come back here and drag your brother's sorry ass away from here," he said.
"There's no way I'm not in for dinner too," she said. "And a midnight snack."

She winked at him and he bit his lip. He already knew he was her midnight snack.

"I'll throw in breakfast tomorrow as well," he said.
"You're playing a high game here," she said.
"Why not go all in when you see something you really like? I can't imagine I'll regret it," he said.
"Me neither," she said.

She stood up and he once again found it hard to breathe. It felt like a heat wave rushing over him when she stood in front of him like that. She was more hot than any other woman he had ever laid eyes on. The rainbow bikini only hid very little, and he already knew he would get her out of it soon enough. He stood up too and picked up his things. She grabbed her bag and towel and left the blanket for her brother.

"Shall we?" He asked.
"We shall," she answered.

She walked over to him and hooked her arm with his.

"Arizona!" Damian yelled.

Arizona turned to look at her brother in the water. He was waving his arms like crazy.

"Where are you going?" Damian yelled.
"On a date!" Arizona yelled back.

Arizona turned back around and started walking away with Drew.

"Arizona!" Damian yelled even louder. "I'm about to drown!"

Arizona looked up at Drew and gave him a smile.

"About time he learns to save himself," she said.
"Is he always like that?" He asked.
"Pretty much," she answered. "Would you believe that he was the one wanting to go to the beach?"
"What? No way!" He laughed.
"I wanted to stay home with a good book but I'm glad I didn't," she said. "Take me wherever you wanna take me, Drew. I'm yours all day and maybe a little longer if breakfast is good."
"I make killer waffles," he said.

She let out a carefree laugh and her crystal green eyes came to life again.

"I like waffles," she said.
"You're gonna love mine," he said.

Her eyes went to his crotch and then back up.

"I'm sure I will," she said.
