California, Daytime

It was seemingly a normal sunny day in California.

Geleel Barlett sat behind the wheel of his camaro as he revved the engine loudly.

He smirked into his mirror as he could see Tony's charger was facing in the opposite direction behind his car.

Tony revved his engine as well as the cars both roared loudly.

"You ready for this, Barlett?" Tony questioned him.

"Born ready." Geleel replied, the smirk never leaving his face.

"Hit it guys!" Frostee shouted as the two slammed on the gas.

Both of the cars roared even louder as the engines began humming.

Oddly, they both remained stationary, it turns out the cars were just being tested on the roof of the agency's state of the art hauler.

They weren't even facing eachother but they were both driving against the grain.

"Woo!" Tony cheered as his mph went higher and higher.

"Let's turn this up a bit." Geleel said as they ignited their nitros.

"Move your truck moron!" A civilian yelled at Cisco who was driving the hauler.

"He's just jealous." Cisco said with a chuckle.

"Okay G and T, you guys ready for phase 2?" Frostee questioned as two vents appeared on the roof and began blowing wind on them for resistance training.

Both cars faltered a bit but after a short while they were both able to power through the currents.

"How those stats lookin Frostee?" Geleel questioned as he whooped.

"The cars are running great guys! You're both still cracking 140 mph in strong winds!" The small teen shouted back.

"Let's see those spy systems!" Frostee added in.

Geleel and Tony nodded as they activated their new spy upgrades.

Both of them had hooks come out of their grills.

Tony had a harpoon in his bumper and one on his hood.

Geleel had two blasters come out of his hood and two shields come out of both of his doors.

"Okay, everything is great with the cars." Frostee said as he checked everything off.

"Perfect! We are ready to race!" Tony shouted as Frostee then unhooked their cars and brought them back to the hatches.

"Okay I'm bringing yall back in now." He notified them as their cars were brought back down in to the haulers storage.

"That testing area is sick!" Tony shouted as they both got out of their cars and began heading to the main room in the hauler.

"Tell me about it, my car's definitely ready for this race." Geleel added as they walked up to Frostee.

Echo was with Frostee as well as she smirked at them.

"Just wait till I put lighting kits on your cars...check this out!" She exclaimed as she activated her hyperfin's lights which danced in an array of colors going from green to purple mostly.

"Woah." Was all the boys could say in awe.

"I like how that light dances off my sweet new spy watch." Frostee said as he smirked at the digital watch on his hand.

"Yea there we go Frostee, love to see the flexin." Geleel said as a hologram of him appeared on Frostee's watch.

"Yeaaa, lookin pretty slick Frostee." Tony added as his own hologram appeared as well.

"Thanks tiny G and Tiny T!" Frostee thanked them as they deactivated the watches and faced eachother in real life.

"I could get used to this spy life." Tony said with a sigh.

"Yo C! What's goin on down up there in the driver's seat? Heard a couple of civs talkin crazy earlier." Geleel said into the comms.

"Aw they just jealous man, I'm pushin this truck, I'm pushin this truck to the limit! Of changing lanes safely..." Cisco said with as he merged lanes very carefully.

"Bet you didn't even feel that." He added as they all chuckled.

"That was so smooth, I didn't even spill my froyo!" Tony shouted as the four teens were now enjoying froyo.

Tony had chocolate, Geleel had vanilla, Frostee had chocolate, and Echo had strawberry.

"Froyo!? Where did Ms. Nowhere said that self driving button was?" Cisco questioned as he seemingly scrambled over the comms.

About 10 seconds later he arrived on the scene of them eating froyo, safe to say he had found the self driving button with haste.

"Now where is the choc-ack!" Cisco exclaims as the screens all shifted to a call from Ms. Nowhere who was staring at the screen menacingly.

"Hello?" She questioned drawing their attention immediately.

"Is everyone ready? This is the bigtime! The show!" Nowhere shouted as she stood back from the camera.

"Going undercover in a SH1FT3R race is no joke." She warned them.

"Yea well, we've done it before so I think we'll be alright." Tony reminded her.

"Listen hotshot, Shashi used his last race as cover, while he infiltrates a billionaire's yacth and stole one of the keys." Nowhere revealed to them.

"Whatever those are." Echo stated dryly.

"Exactly why we're gonna go find out, right T?" Geleel said as Tony nodded and they did their handshake.

"That's right! Cause my guys are spyracersss!" Frostee sang as Nowhere was simply not amused.

"Please stop that." She said with an acerbic tone.

"Living dangerouslyyy! Finding out about the keyyys!" Frostee continued singing anyways as he sat down in his chair.

Geleel couldn't help but snicker at Nowhere's face.

"Yeaaa Frost! Keep singin it." He egged the little teen on.

"Gary, did we install the shock seats?" Nowhere questioned the bald man next to her.

"You said we couldn't afford them AND the froyo machine." Gary reminded her.

"Why you hatin for Nowhere? I think Frostee's song is great, I'm gonna win this race." Geleel gloated as Tony arched a brow at him.

"Wrong!" Ms. Nowhere shouted.

"Yea exactly, cause I'M gonna be the one to win." Tony said as he smirked at Geleel.

"Oh yea, Toretto? Win what? Second place?" Geleel questioned as they began arguing over who would win, completely forgetting the task at hand here.

"Hey! Hey! Neither of you are going to win! This is about the mission! And your mission is to tail Shashi not win this dumb race!" Nowhere shouted as the two separated and grumbled at eachother.

"Do I make myself clear?" She questioned them as they grumbled again.

"What was that?" Nowhere questioned again.

"Yes ma'am." Both boys said simultaneously as the others snickered at them.

"Great...now where was I?" Nowhere questioned rhetorically as she began explaining why it was important to stay on Shashi today.

Later

The crew had arrived at the racer meetup as they all got out of the hauler and looked around at the different racers and their cars.

The real mission was for Geleel and Tony to tail Sashi whilst the others searched the area for potential Shashi targets.

"No sign of Shashi or that Layla chick yet." Echo pointed out.

Almost as if to spite her, Layla's white GT came speeding towards them.

The country girl stop the car on a dime as she kicked some smoke and dust up at them...accidentally.

She then got out of the car and approached the crew who had started coughing due to the dust.

"Nice rig." Layla said flatly as she admired the hauler subtly.

"Thanks, we stole it from some tech nerds." Tony lied to preserve their spy secret.

"Well this race, is gonna be way harder than robbin some tech geeks, this is the big show, it won't be as easy as the last race." Layla warned Tony.

"The race you lost." Tony reminded her.

"Tied." She corrected him.

"Yea well if you two are finished with whatever this is, can we get goin? I'm ready to win this thing." Geleel said with a shrug.

"Still dreaming, huh G?" Tony questioned his friend.

"You're racing this time?" Layla questioned Geleel with a scoff.

"What do you think hillbarb? I just said so, and I don't do ties or losses...it's winning or nothing at all." Geleel informed her with a smirk.

"Yea we'll see about that." Layla said with a smirk of her own as the three competitive racers stared eachother down.

"They are seriously getting off track..." Echo whispered to Frostee and Cisco who nodded in agreement.

Before the conversation with the three hotheads could continue a guy with slickbacked hair walks by and purposely bumps Tony's shoulder as they all watched the dude continue walking with deep frowns on their faces.

"What's his problem?" Geleel questioned Layla.

"That's Santiago, he's the best driver from South America." Layla informed them.

"Why he's wearing a parachute?" Tony questioned her as they took note of the chute on his back.

"You'll see." She said with a smirk as they then turned to two men who were trading blows with eachother.

The crew instantly recognized them as the redheaded Irish dude and the blond musclehead from the Yoka rig they hijacked.

"The little redheaded leprechaun is Scadan, you might recognize him and Muscles from the time you hijacked their rig, they have a bit of a grudge against you for that." Layla reminded them as Scadan and Muscles turned to face the crew.

They both growled as their eyes were more set to Geleel and Tony than the others.

Muscles growled as Geleel smooched at him with a shit-eating smirk and a cross of his arms.

Tony smirked as well as he held out his hand to Frostee.

"Frostee! Yoka me!" He ordered as Frostee handed him a can of Yoka.

Tony opened the can and began downing the drink as Scadan fumed at him.

"Mmmm, delicious." He said in a sing song tone as Scadan growled and punched Muscles in the chest swiftly out of anger.

The others laughed at them as Tony turned to a large box tuner with atleast 30 speakers on it.

"What is that?" He questioned Layla.

"That red and yellow bute would be the woofer, Shang blasts music so loud it could blow out your ear lobe." Layla told him as the Japanese woman, Shang, stepped out of the woofer.

The group then turned to see another tuner doing donuts.

"And that right there is Togue-Dori, her tuners make turns so sharp that would normally knock nobodies like you off the road." Layla continued as Geleel deadpanned, this was getting out of hand.

"Meet Grinder." Layla added as they then turned to see a large monster truck with large metal grinders.

"You've got to be kidding me." Cisco said in awe.

"And last but not least...Pizzarave." Layla finished as they looked at the woman in the yellow box car use the lasers from her spoiler to disintegrate a barrel.

"That's so Pizzarave." Echo said flatly.

"This is getting out of hand." Geleel said with a head shake.

"What's the matter dreadhead? You gettin scared?" Layla questioned him.

"What? Hell nah, I'm still gonna win this thing, I was just making an observation." Geleel defended himself as Layla rolled her eyes and the crew snickered at him much to his dismay.

"Whatever." She stated, before the banter could continue they hear the rev of Shashi's car as they turn to see him driving onto the scene.

Layla walked over to Shashi as he got out of the car.

The crew followed her as they watched Shashi get on top of his car's roof.

"Who's ready to race?" He questioned loudly as the crowd erupted in cheer.

"We got some new blood in the SH1FT3R lineup today!" Shashi began as he looked down at Geleel and Tony before removing his glasses.

"Let's see if they can handle the heat." He continued as he stared at them.

He then gestured to the map of the racetrack.

"Each lap is 25 miles, more if you get lost in the mines, the first one to 4 laps wins! This is the best track on the planet! It's race time!" Shashi finished as the crowd erupted once more.

Shashi jumped down from his car as Tony approached him.

"I've never raced a Toretto before, let's see if you can live up to the name." Shashi said as he smirked and got in his car.

Soon everyone lined up at the start to finish.

Geleel sat in his camaro as he looked into the mirror.

"I've never raced a Toretto before! This guy's a clown, let's see how obsessed he is with Torettos when he's eating Barlett dust." Geleel mentally stated to himself as he revved the camaro.

"You ready to lose?" Tony questioned from his right as the former revved his dodge.

"That's one thing that I'll never say I'm ready for." Geleel said a smirk.

"Well you are today, don't worry." Layla said as she revved her GT.

"This is gonna be real fun." Geleel said as they all faced the drone which had begun the countdown for the race.

"Alright guys! Looks like you have to head straight! Then left into the mines! I don't know what happens in there...then you come out! Then there's a switchback, then you come out! Jump over some dunes! And then you race back through town, sound good?" Frostee questioned over the comms system.

"Yup...what was that about the mines?" Tony questioned him.

It was too late now though, the drone's light had switched to orange, soon they'd have to start the race.

"Hope your cars have some decent rollcages!" Layla shouted as the light turned green.

Thus, everyone rocketed from the start and the cars began speeding down the track, the race had finally begun.

Ofcourse the top four to begin was Shashi, Tony, Layla and Geleel in that order, but things were far from heating him.

All four of them ignited their nitros.

"Here we go." Shashi stated.

"Yea!" Layla whooped.

"Come on!" Geleel shouted as they boosted forward into the tunnels.

Geleel overtook Layla and was in 3rd place now as he was right on Tony's tail.

"See ya around hillbarbie!" He shouted at her as she frowned at him.

"Geleel! Tony! Remember guys, you're supposed to tail Shashi, this isn't about winning!" Echo reminded them through their comms.

"Woah!" Tony and Geleel shouted as they were now in the tunnel trying to avoid crashing, they were too in to the race to pay Echo any mind.

"Okay, time to try out some of this new spy gear." Tony said to himself as he read the buttons.

"Oh cool! Night vision." He said as he turned the night vision on which made it much easier to see in the tunnel.

"Haha! Yea! Now who can see in the dark!" He shouted, he was still in second place.

"Cheater." Geleel muttered to himself, his spy set didn't have night vision.

Suddenly Pizzarave came up from behind Geleel and Tony and easily took second place.

She then turned out some very highpowered lights that were on her spoiler as she flashed them at Tony.

"Woah!" Tony exclaimed as he was blinded and began to drive wildly due to the fact she couldn't see.

"Woah! Watch it Tone!" Geleel shouted as he almost crashed through, this caused Scadan to past him and Tony as well.

"Okay, time to put the blinders on for you Pizzarave." Geleel said to himself as he pressed a button which put an extra tinted shield over his windshield.

Pizzarave was smirking to herself...until she realized Geleel was driving right next to her, smirking the entire time.

She had taken her lights off for a bit which led to Scadan sneakily passing her earlier.

The brownskinned woman knew she had them on this time so how did this kid...

"You should probably focus on the road rave!" Geleel shouted to her as she arched a brow at him.

Geleel then sped up to take third place as Pizzarave then turned to face forward.

She gasped when she realized she was speeding right towards a wall.

"No!" She shouted as she swerved to avoid hitting the wall.

Unfortunately this made her car drive off a cliff in the bridge of the tunnel.

Pizzarave was then forced to eject from her car and release her parachute to avoid falling to her death.

"I don't believe this." She said to herself, how could a kid have outsmarted her so easily?

Tony and Layla finally drive by this scene with a few other races hot on their trail as well.

They all watched Pizzarave with odd expressions.

"Okay Geleel, looks like you came to race today." Tony said as he sped up alongside Layla.

Shashi was still in first place the entire time.

However, Scadan was hot on his trail, and the former knew this to be true judging from the redhead's constant ramming of his car.

"Okay, time to shake this freak." Shashi said to himself as he saw a wall coming up.

He smirked as he looked back a bit and saw Scadan was preparing to ram him again

"Yea that's right...keep comin, keep comin." Shashi said to himself as he sped towards the wall.

Just as he was about to hit it he turned swiftly to the left and kept driving on the track.

Scadan however did not expect this sudden turn, and was even more shocked to see he was speeding directly towards a wall.

"Janey Mack!" He shouted as he crashed right in to the wall and his car was broken down in the middle of the track.

Geleel was now coming down the strip as he noticed Scadan's car stuck in the middle of the road.

"Seriously? Guess I gotta use another trick." Geleel said as he pressed a button in his door.

His hydraulics began extending as the camaro's wheels then shifted into monster truck wheels.

"No...no, please don't do this!" Scadan shouted as he thought Geleel was about to crush him.

He was shocked to see Geleel using the spring from his hydraulics to make his car jump clear over Scadan's.

"Woo! Come on!" Geleel cheered as he was coming back down.

As he came down the impact from the camaro landing shook Scadan's car.

"Yea! That was awesome! See ya later boyo!" The dreadhead shouted in a Norwegian accent as he now took second place again.

"I'm from Ireland you bastard!" Scadan shouted at Geleel.

"What's the difference?" Geleel questioned as the man fumed.

The dreadhead didn't care though, he immediately began focusing on Shashi again.

He wouldn't just have to worry about catching up to Shashi though...because when he looked in his mirrors he saw Tony and Layla coming up right behind him, a few remaining racers were a couple yards behind them.

"Well, atleast this is more of a challenge." Geleel said as he sped up.

Hauler

Echo was sitting at the computer whilst Cisco and Frostee stood next to her.

Cisco was busy downing froyo but...it's Cisco.

"Okay, let's look at some potential targets for Shashi's heist." Frostee told Echo as they used one of his drones to survey the area.

"Ooo, what about the bank?" Cisco questioned them.

"Nah man, what would be in some busted ol bank vault? It wasn't even guarded in the first place." Echo reminded him.

"We don't have eyes in the mines, Shashi could pull a sick heist in there and we'd never know, why don't you get some drones in there?" Echo questioned Frostee.

"I do have some little drones, but they have a limited range and we'd have to drive them in there." Frostee listed off as Echo was not impressed.

"So? Go!" She ordered him.

"Man I don't wanna go in there! I heard that the minors struck this radioactive uranium patch, and now there's a bunch of mutant ghosts down there!" Frostee shouted frantically as Echo deadpanned.

"Whaaat? Man you crazy." Cisco denied Frostee's beliefs.

"Why do you think it's called a ghost town?" Frostee questioned him.

"Because...aw man! I was trying not to think about why!" Cisco shouted as Echo grew to be annoyed.

"Just go fools!" She shouted at them.

That was the last straw, the two knuckleheads got into the baja and began driving towards the mines.

What they failed to notice was Muscles lurking outside of the hauler.

"The girl is all alone, no Barlett or Toretto to protect her." Muscles said to himself as he prepared to enter the hauler, it was time for some payback.

The Race

The race was still heating up as they were still in the tunnels.

"Woo! Yea! Come on!" Tony shouted as he sped past Geleel and took second place, that seemed a bit too easy for whatever reason, but the young Toretto didn't care as he kept whooping.

"What's your game plan here Barlett?" Layla questioned Geleel as she was right behind him now.

"You'll see soon blondie." He replied with a smirk.

Shashi who had yet to leave first place yet looked back to notice Tony had taken second place.

"Alright Toretto, let's see what you got." He said to himself as they all sped up and Shashi let a dust cloud form to blind Tony.

"If you think I'm gonna slow down for some dust you better think again." Tony said as he went even faster.

Unfortunately when the smoke cleared he was met with sunlight as he realized they were out of the tunnels now and he was speeding right over the edge of cliffed roads.

Shashi hooked a rock to make his turn easier and smoother, but Tony wasn't so lucky.

"Woah!" He exclaimed as he turned wildly and the back half of his car was practically falling off the cliff.

He then instinctively pressed a button on his steering wheel as an array of spikes came out of his back tires.

This gave him more grip as he was able to steady himself on the road and continue driving after Shashi.

"Yea!" He cheered as he maintained second place.

"I wouldn't celebrate so soon Toretto!" Layla shouted as Tony looked in his mirror to see the country girl and Geleel were coming up fast.

Layla specifically passes him as she drifts by him and they all began driving down the windy, steep, roads.

"Took that turn a bit too fast small time!" Layla taunted Tony who scowled.

"Wow, she is owning you." Geleel taunted him as well.

"I don't see how you're talking Mr. 4th place?" Tony questioned his best friend.

"Oh just wait, you'll see how fast I'm in first again real soon." Geleel said with a chuckle.

He had been saving a few tricks for the entire race, and it was almost time to use them.

"Um, HQ team, did you guys pack a parachute in the cars?" Tony questioned as he noticed another racer parachuting down due to his car falling off a cliff.

"No but I did pack extra underwear for the both of you!" Cisco stated proudly.

"Gee thanks C, I'm sure they'd look nice when we're both in caskets due to a 60 foot fall!" Geleel shouted as they continued racing.

Before he could continue shouting he hears the rev of that Grinder monster truck from before.

The guy drove his druck over the mountain as he was coming down right at Geleel.

"Not today chompy." Geleel began as he swerved out of the way and let the monster truck fall off the cliff.

"I got a race to win." Geleel finished as he sped up after Shashi, Layla and Tony.

Echo

Echo was still in the hauler as she had just severed the comm link with Frostee and Cisco.

The two had searched the mines with the drones already, albeit in an unorthodox way.

Now it was time for her to check out the pictures they got for her.

Something wasn't adding up though, there was a vanishing railroad track on the map.

"Holdup..." Echo said as she started a link with Ms. Nowhere.

"Yo Nowhere, why aren't these traintracks on the map?" She questioned the woman who looked over the picture.

"Lemme check..." Nowhere began.

"Gary! Why aren't those traintracks on our map?" Echo heard her shout at Gary.

"No one uses them anymore...besides, there's no way to reach them from the race track." Gary informed them both as Echo's eyes narrowed at this information, she didn't think this was the case at all.

The Race

It was only Shashi, Layla, Tony and Geleel left at this point.

The most competitive racers, it's only natural they were the last survivors still speeding down the track.

"Alright, it's time to put my plan into action." Geleel said he noticed all three of his nitro tanks were full now.

He had been buying time to let them all fill up.

Most racers just wait for one to fill up before wasting them all.

However, Geleel knew he had to have a strategy to win this race.

"Let's, go!" Geleel shouted as he activated the first nitro tank and rocketed past Layla and Tony who gasped in shock, they'd already used their tanks up at this point and was waiting for them to replenish.

"Seriously G? That's what you were waiting for this whole time...I gotta admit, that was smart, but this isn't over yet." Tony said to Geleel who could only smirk.

"I would hope it's not, I want this to be challenging atleast." The dreadhead said as he sped up.

Geleel then drove up alongside Shashi as the man stared at him with wide eyes.

"Sup." Geleel said flatly as he stared at Shashi and continued driving right next to him.

"Listen kid, I don't know who you think you are, but your streak of luck ends here." Shashi said with a smirk.

"Why do you say that?" Geleel questioned him.

"Because I'm about to do this." Shashi said as he swiftly turned and rammed Geleel's camaro without a warning causing the dreadhead to grunt.

Layla and Tony were coming up fast behind them as they watched Shashi try to push Geleel into another road that split off from the track.

"You're out of this race." Shashi said as he had pushed Geleel fully onto the other road now.

"Well that was easy, sorry kid, but this track...this life is for the real drivers." Shashi said as he looked in his rearviews to see Layla and Tony approaching him.

They were all that mattered, not some unknown loser that thought he could ride with the big boys.

"Hey asshole, you scratched my ride." Shashi almost gasped outloud when he heard Geleel's voice.

He then looked up to see Geleel driving on the higher road, how the hell was he still in this race?

"I don't know why you have some sort of weird hardon for Torettos, but I'm here to show you how a Barlett pushes the whip." Geleel said as he shifted gears and sped towards the ledge that was coming up.

"No way...he's not gonna do what I think he is, is he?" Layla questioned Tony.

"Knowing Geleel, yes, yes he is." Tony assured her.

When Geleel neared the edge he activated his second nitro tank as he rocketed off the edge.

It was almost as if everything was moving in slow motion now as Shashi watched the blue camaro fly in front of him and land roughly onto the track.

"Come on boy! Who's out of this race again?" Geleel questioned as he now took first place and sped ahead.

Tony and Layla both couldn't help but let out small smiles, neither of them wanted to lose but they'd have to admit, that was awesome.

"Nice move G/That was pretty cool." Tony and Layla said simultaneously.

Shashi was basically fuming at this point, there's no way he was going to let this kid embarrass him like this.

"Who do you think you are?" Shashi questioned Geleel angrily.

"I'm Geleel Barlett, better learn that name quick Senor Dhar." The dreadhead said before he used his last tank and rocketed forward, there was so much ground between him and the other three now, first place was his and his alone.

As Geleel whooped and hollered, "Ride Da Night, by Kevin Gates and Teejay3K" began playing from 0:29 to 0:58 to be more specific.

"Um, Geleel?" Echo questioned over the comms as a holograph of her appeared.

"First off I just saw the move, awesome, but you're supposed to be BEHIND Shashi to actually tail him ya know? You're dusting him so bad all he can see is the Chevy sign sparkling on your trunk!" Echo shouted.

"You're right Echo but...Tony's back there, he's got this, don't trip MarMar." Geleel said with a smile as he prepared to end the link.

"I said don't call me tha-" Geleel cuts Echo off before she could finish as he continued to speed forward into the tunnels again, this was now lap 2.

Echo

The greenhaired girl had just been cutoff by her own best friend that had seemingly forgot that this mission was not about the race.

"Ugh, boys, why are they so stupid?" She questioned herself.

Since Geleel was so ahead he was already on open roads again.

Tony was stuck in the tunnels still getting ragdolled by Layla and Shashi who continued to crash into his car relentlessly, from what Echo saw on their comms anyways.

She had already told Tony that Shashi and Layla planned to hijack the invisible train and that the race was just a big distraction.

However, with Tony still trying to get away from Shashi and Layla, Geleel forgetting to stay on mission, this was proving to be very difficult.

"I'm starting to see why Ms. Nowhere's always stressed out with these two." She said to herself as she slumped in her chair.

Tony

Tony had been being rammed and slammed in to for the better half of the last 5 minutes by Layla and Shashi.

"Ack!" Tony exclaimed with every strike.

"Come on Tony, where's your fire?" Shashi questioned as he made Tony spiral out of control into a random tunnel.

"Tony you're off course! Shashi and Layla are headed the other way!" Echo shouted as she was watching everything transpire from her seat in the hauler.

"I knowwwww!" Tony shouted as he spiraled right in between two large rocks.

"Where did you guys pack that extra underwear?" He questioned as he tried to regain his breath.

He tried to back out of the rocks but soon realized it was futile as the car simply would not budge.

"Oh no...uh Echo! I'm stuck! Help!" Tony shouted over the comms.

Echo

"Oh no..." She trailed off as she watched Tony get stuck on the comms.

She immediately called Geleel, it was time she put some damn sense into his head.

"Geleel!" She shouted as his face appeared on the screen.

"The whole race was just a distraction! Shashi and Layla are just trying to hijack a train, they don't really care about winning!" Echo revealed to Geleel as he arched a brow.

"Wait what?" He questioned her.

"No time! Tony got stuck in the tunnels and needs your help! If you don't turn back we're gonna blow this mission and Tony will probably suffocate in there!" Echo shouted as Geleel then stared at the road ahead.

Geleel

He had taken in everything Echo said, Shashi and Layla had played them...Tony could die.

"G!" He heard Echo shout again as he started driving slower.

He then looked at his rearview mirror as he saw Shashi and Layla fast approaching.

"Alright Lay, we got rid of Toretto, now all we gotta do is get this kid out of the way and we can do what we came here to do." Shashi said to Layla who nodded.

As they neared Geleel they were shocked to see him slam on the brakes.

"What the hell is he doing?" Layla questioned as she looked back to see Geleel frowning at them deeply in hs stopped car.

"I thought you didn't take losses Barlett?" Layla questioned Geleel over his comms.

"I don't." Was Geleel's simple response as he turned and began driving back to go get Tony, still leaving Layla and Shashi confused.

"What was that about?" Layla asked Shashi as they continued driving.

"I don't know...that kid...he...ah whatever! Let's just go! We have a job to finish." Shashi said begrudgingly as they turned off the track and began heading towards the train to hijack it, he was still sour about Geleel embarrassing him earlier.

Geleel was now speeding back towards the tunnels to save Tony.

"Soooo, what's the plan now G?" Echo asked him.

"First, I'm gonna save my brother." Geleel said as he switched gears.

"Right, and admit to Echo that you're a dumbass that got off track on the mission and almost blew it?" Echo questioned him.

"Uh, talk later Echo." Geleel said as he moved to shut the link down.

"Hey-" Echo is cutoff as Geleel severed the link and continued driving.

"I'm coming T." He said to himself.

Tony

"This bites, ofcourse I manage to get stuck in these rocks while Geleel's probably out there getting all the glory of completing the mission and winning the race." Tony said to himself as he slammed on his wheel.

Suddenly his eyes widened as he heard the all too familiar sound of a camaro's engine roaring behind him.

"I wouldn't be so sure about either of those things Tone." Geleel said with a smirk as Tony turned to him in shock.

"Geleel? You came back! Wait...why? I thought you wanted to win and get all the glory to show Shashi that you're the best racer of all time." Tony reminded him with air quotes as Geleel sighed.

"Yea I did...but when Echo told me what Shashi and Layla really had planned and how they basically left you to die here, I stopped caring about that glory shit T, you're a part of my family, and I'm sure as a Toretto you know what I'm about to say." Geleel said as he hooked Tony's bumper with his camaro.

"Family always comes first." They said simultaneously.

"Now let's do this together on the count of three..." Geleel said as they both grabbed their stickshifts.

"1...2...3!" They both counted out simultaneously as they began reversing at the same time with all the power their vehicles could muster.

"Come on!" Geleel shouted as Tony slowly began getting pulled out from between the rocks.

Tony then shifted his gears again as he was finally able to reverse out from between the rocks and they were free.

"Woo! Yea! That was awesome!" He shouted as they both cheered.

"That was tiring." Geleel said as he took a breath.

Suddenly they heard the baja's engine as Cisco and Frostee rode up to them.

"What happened here?" Frostee questioned.

"Long story." Geleel said plainly.

"Short story, G and I need to go after Shashi and stop him from stealing that train, come on Geleel." Tony said as took off in his dodge.

"You guys go back to Echo, we'll handle hillbarbie and Mr. Ego." Geleel said as he took off after Tony.

Echo

Echo was taking this time to rub her frontal lobes in order to relax, today was by far the most hectic day she'd experience in a long time.

"I'm gonna kill one of them." She said to herself.

A sudden clanging noise made her jump as she looked down the hall.

"What the hell?" She questioned to herself in a hushed tone, someone just snuck in to the hauler.

Biggest mistake anyone could make right now, with how Echo was feeling, she was not above murder.

The greenhaired vixen stood in the corner of the room as the attacker came in to view.

It was that Muscles guy that Geleel beat on the rig.

"You just made the worst mistake of your life." Echo said as he almost jumped out of his shoes in fear.

She then shut the lights off as she puts on her night vision goggles.

The man watched frantically as her goggles glowed a sickening red.

"Mommy..." He called out in an uncharacteristically highpitched tone.

"She won't be able to help you now..." Echo said menacingly as she ran in and began attacking the man with so much rage it was almost inhuman.

Later

After the man had been beaten to basically nothing but a babbling, bruised up baby, Echo turned the lights on and took off her goggles.

"Ohhh, I needed that so bad." She said almost pyscothically.

"Y-You're a monster! A-And how come you hit harder than your dreadheaded boyfriend?" Muscles questioned as Echo growled at him making him back up in fear.

"First off let me make a few things clear, he's not my boyfriend, second, I protect him, not the other way around, now you know...run." Echo said as the blond hesitates.

It was only when Echo flinched at him that he got up and ran to the exit and scrambled away from the hauler.

Frostee and Cisco who had just arrived on the scene stared at the bruised and battered man running away in confusion.

"Hey guys! How was ghost town?" Echo questioned them, as if she didn't just take a man's dignity a bit ago.

Tony and Geleel

The familiar purple dodge and blue camaro duo came upon the scene of Shashi flying away on a helicopter with a train car on the harness.

"Shit! We're too late!" Tony shouted a they drove towards the train.

"Damn it! This is my fault." Geleel began beating himself up over it as they continued driving towards the train.

"No it's not G don-" Tony cuts himself off as he looks up and notices Layla parachuting onto the car that was still on the tracks.

"What the hell is she doing?" Tony questioned aloud.

"I don't know T but...look." Geleel said as he gestured to where the tracks ended...they were broken and Layla was surely about to plummet down to her death.

Even if he didn't really like her, Geleel knew no one deserved to die that way.

"G I know how you feel about her but we-" Geleel cuts Tony off as he sped towards the train.

"We gotta help her." He declared as Tony smirked and sped forward as well.

Layla was on top of the train still, and was seemingly contemplating jumping off of it.

However she knew, jumping off a train at this speed could result in serious injuries.

She made up her mind...it was the only wa-

The country girl was brought out of her thoughts when she heard two engines roaring in her direction.

She was shocked to see Geleel and Tony driving towards her.

"Don't worry Layla! We got you!" Tony shouted as they drove to the front of the train.

Tony puts his car in front of the train as he slammed on the gas in order to try and stop the train.

"What are you idiots doing! Get out of here! Save yourselves!" She shouted as Geleel then got behind Tony to add more horsepower.

"No way! We're gonna save you whether you like it or not!" Geleel shouted as they both activated their nitro tanks and tried to get the train to stop.

It was slowing to a halt but the broke tracks were approaching quick.

"Come on!" Tony shouted as he activated his spike tires for more traction.

Geleel then activated his off road tires.

They both grunted as their engines roared and they came very close to the edge.

Fortunately, right as they got to the edge the train had finally stopped.

Tony and Geleel both took a chance to regain their breaths as they breathed heavily.

Both of the boys then got out of their cars as they stumbled over to the side of the train.

"We...are awesome." Tony breathed out as they did their signature handshake.

"As always." Geleel added as Layla finally dropped to the ground with a grunt.

"You alright?" Tony asked her as she scoffed at them both.

"I didn't need you guys to step in! I was gonna jump off right before the cliff." She said as she flipped her ponytail and began walking away.

"Ah yes, jump off a TRAIN moving 70 mph and break every bone in your tiny little body, you know a simple thank you would go a long way." Gelel said as he crossed his arms at her.

"Fuck you." Was her cryptic response as she got into her car that was still hooked up to the train.

"Atleast your car is good..." Tony tried to be positive as she simply grunted, turned, and drove off with a scowl.

"I will never understand why you're always attracted to girls who wanna see you dead." Geleel said to Tony.

"What? It's more fun this way, a-and who said I'm attracted to her?" He questioned Geleel who waved him off and walked back to his car.

"Like I didn't see you checkin her out when she was walking just now." Geleel said as he got into the camaro.

"I wasn't!" Tony shouted as he got into his charger.

"Nice story." The dreadhead said with a flat tone as they slowly drove off.

They may have failed the mission, but all that mattered to them was they were all safe and alive.

Later

The entire crew stood in front of the hauler now as the sun was setting.

"Sorry for getting so off track earlier Echo." Geleel said to his best friend as she smiled at him.

"Don't mention it knucklehead." She said with a chuckle.

Geleel then looked over at Muscles, who for some reason was beaten up?

Muscles glared at him before he noticed Echo standing right next to Geleel with a sadistic smile on her face.

The man quickly panicked and began running away.

"What? What'd I do?" Geleel questioned in confusion, he thought he was the reason the blond man ran.

"Nothing GiGi, come on." Echo said as she led the confused dreadhead over to Shashi and Tony who was seemingly upset with Tony and Geleel for their little stunt earlier, ofcourse Layla was behind him.

"Oh one more thing..." Echo started as she grabbed Geleel's ear and pulled it very firmly causing him to yelp out uncharacteristically.

"If you ever...I mean EVER, disconnect my comm link when I'm talking again, I'll kill you, comprende?" She questioned Geleel as he nodded swiftly and begged her to let him go.

"Thank youuu." Echo said as she let his ear go and grabbed his hand again.

They then walked up to Tony and Shashi as Geleel was trying to ignore the ringing from his ear now.

"What were you and your friend doing following me out there, Toretto?" Shashi questioned Tony who could only smirk as Echo and Geleel walked up as well.

"And you! You..." Shashi trailed off as he tried to find a way to insult Geleel for embarrassing him earlier.

Geleel arched a brow at him in response.

"Well first off, you're welcome for saving Layla." Tony said smugly as Layla scowled again.

"I was fine!" She denied.

"Fine and literally about to die, wow what a thin line that is." Geleel said with a deadpan.

"Second of all..." Tony said, continuing his point from earlier.

"I'm a Toretto, I didn't come out here to race these clowns anymore than you did, I knew there was a score...I want in on the real action." Tony said as he stared Shashi down.

Shashi was seemingly upset at first...but when he let out a dry chuckle it confused everyone.

"This is perfect." He began as he turned away from Tony as Layla grunted and walked away.

"I've got a mission coming up that could use that...Toretto touch." Shashi said as he began walking away but stopped to stand in front of Geleel.

The two stared at eachother for a while before Shashi began walking again.

"Nice driving, Barlett." Was all he said before getting into his car and taking off, Layla ofcourse following behind.

"Aw yea! You guys totally owned em!" Frostee exclaimed as he, Echo and Cisco jumped around in excitement.

Tony and Geleel stared at Layla and Shashi's cars are they disappeared into the distance...it didn't feel like they owned them at all.

The Base, Night

The team walked back into the base as Ms. Nowhere and Gary stood waiting for them.

"Welcome back...failures! Shashi got a way with the train car and we got nothing! Gary is furious!" She shouted as Gary shook his head.

"I understand how hard it is to have good stealth without proper train-" Gary is cutoff by Nowhere.

"Shut the fuck up, Gary." The deranged woman mumbled quietly to him.

"Ma'am, we shouldn't use such profanities in front of the children." Gary reminded her.

"Okay Gary! Shut the front door! Anyways back to you little brats...you blew the mission!" Nowhere shouted as Geleel and Tony approached her.

"Not completely..." Tony began as Nowhere arched a brow at him.

"We tagged that car with one of Frostee's drone trackers, and we know exactly where Shashi's taking it." Geleel said as the crew smirked and Nowhere was left wide-eyed.

Maybe this mission wasn't a bust after all...
