A week before the funeral, Lyra decided to cope with the death of her older twin brother Lucas by having Lucky, the team, and herself eat dessert for the entire week.
"What are you making, Lyra?" Asked Lucky. "I'm making lemon pound cake because I decided we're gonna eat dessert until the day of the funeral, and there will breakfast, lunch, or dinner," explained Lyra.
"Why would you wanna eat dessert all week and have no breakfast, lunch, or dinner?" Asked Lucky. "I'm sorry, Lucky. I know this is not normal, but I'm just having a hard time right now since we lost someone close to us," Lyra explained smpathetically.
"I know you are, but now to you said it I'm okay with nothing but dessert until the day of the funeral," Lucky said in sadness.
This week, things still hadn't been good for Lucky, Lyra, and the rest of the team as they were grieving. Today, everyone was getting ready for the funeral, and Lucky was in bed, as he was not ready to bury Lucas.
Lyra then saw Lucky on the bed and tried to help him. "Lucky it's time for the funeral," Lyra said in sadness. "I'm not ready to do this," Lucky said tearfully. "I know you're heartbroken and not ready for the funeral, but I'm sure things will be okay soon. I promise," Lyra said, feeling desperate.
As Lucky tried to get out of the bed, he ended up falling off and mildly hurt himself. "LUCKY!?" Lyra shouted in horror. Lucky rolled his ankle on the floor and started crying very hard and hugged Lyra hard. "Aw baby, how badly does your ankle hurt?" Lyra asked, feeling scared.
"It's hurts a lot!" Lucky said tearfully. Lucky was still crying, and Lyra needed to give Lucky a hug and share a breakdown with each other.
At the cemetery...
During the funeral, everyone was talking about Lucas and that he would be missed by everyone. Lucky's school bully decided to cause an angry scene and give an extremely cruel speech about Lucas, and everyone was shocked.
Without him thinking, he caused chaos in Foxington and kidnapped Lyra. Lucky was heartbroken but got permission from the team went of to find Lyra and the rest of the guardians, including his parents.
