The next week, after bonding, Team RWBY were currently walking through the streets towards the docks. The team was made up of Weiss Schnee, Blake Belladonna, and Yang Xiao Long. Usually there were four members, but Weiss was without a partner. So, they were a three person team.

At the docks, they looked around all over.

"Seems to be untouched since we first fought Roman," said Weiss.

"I don't know," said Blake, "I think that there might be something going on. How does a whole organization even disappear overnight?"

"Let's split up," said Yang, "Just... keep to the shadows, and make sure to be quiet."

The trio split up, and headed off in different directions. As they walked through, there was a strange noise. Weiss and Yang headed towards it, and looked to find a large green pipe.

"What's this?" asked Weiss.

"I don't know," said Yang, "but I think Blake might have been through here. Look."

There, in front of the pipe, was Blake's weapon, Gambol Shroud. Yang picked up the weapon, and Weiss called out, "BLAKE! ARE YOU IN THERE!?"

They shined a light down the pipe, only to see it was a dead end.

"I don't think so," said Yang, "Come on... Weiss?"

Yang turned to see Weiss was gone, and her weapon, Mytrenaster, was on the ground.

"Come on!" said Yang, "this isn't funny! Come out of there! Gotta be a secret opening or someth-"

Yang was pulled by a strange force, as a light shown. Yang tried to pull back, but she was pulled in, and thrown down a spiral tube! All around her, there were strange looking places, that she didn't recognize.

"YANG!"

Yang turned to see Weiss and Blake flying around ahead.

"HOLD ON! I'M COMING!"

Yang used Ember Celica to shot herself forward, and towards her teammates. They each all reached out, and grabbed each other.

"I got you! Don't worry! We're safe now!"

However, Blake and Weiss lost their grip when the past split into two. Yang went left, and Weiss and Blake went right, to a dark area full of thunder and lava.

"NO!"

Yang was pulled into a pipe, and shot out, landing face first onto the ground. She shook off the dizziness, and looked around. All over, there were mushrooms of different colors.

"What is this place?" asked Yang.

Yang reached out to touch a blue mushroom, only for a man with a backpack, and a strange hat on, pop up, and yell, "DO NOT TOUCH THAT MUSHROOM, YOU'LL DIE!"

The man was very short. He had a blue vest and no undershirt on. His hat was round like a turbin, and white with red dots. The pants looked like a diaper, and his legs were not seen through them.

Yang jumped back in surprise. The man then looked at the mushroom once more, and said, "Oh, sorry, that mushroom is perfectly fine."

Yang looked at the man, and he said, "Please to meet ya! I'm Toad!"

"Y... Yang."

Toad then took off, with Yang shaking off the surprise, and asked, "Okay. So, this is... NOT, a dream?"

Toad then whacked Yang in the arm with a stick, and asked, "That hurt, right?"

"YES!" grunted Yang annoyed.

"So, not a dream!"

"Okay," said Yang, following Toad through the field, "So, where am I?"

"The Mushroom Kingdom!"

"Oh, mushrooms," said Yang.

They walked through the world, and Yang asked, "Hey, my teammates got separated from me in this weird portal. One has white hair, blue eyes and a white dress. The other has a black outfit and hair, along with amber eyes. And she wears a bow. They flew into this place, with, lava, and lots of darkness."

Toad stopped, and gasped, "That... is not good."

Toad turned around, and said, "Um, your team's fallen into the dark lands. They're under..." Toad looked around, and whispered, "Bowser's control."

"Bowser?" asked Yang.

"He is the most evil, wretched, wicked creature, alive!"

The two walked onto a giant mushroom, and Toad pushed it forward.

"I'll take you to the Princess! She can do anything!"

"Princess?" asked Yang. Then, she looked to see a giant castle, and it was dark red, with the majority of it white.

"COME ON YANG!" cheered Toad, "OUR GREAT ADVENTURE AWAITS!"
