Max the young one not Grandpa Max, had his arms crossed as he walked with Sandra, Now Today was an odd day, he was by the pier , Normally he would be thinking yeah mermaid girlfriend time, but today he was with his mother at this old tourist trap squid city, apparently it was going to be knocked down. Sandra had worked here and met Carl here. She wanted to say goodbye and Carl had plumber stuff to do, Ben was going to the rainbow sea with Jessica to fight fisherman to stop him catching mermaids, Gwen was in Vegas with her sister, Kevin was with Gwen. Sandra wasn't going to ask her brother in law, and sister in law, who kicked out their trans kid. She didn't know Dorthy enough to ask her, Sunny was grounded, So Max was the guy by Default. Despite all that Zoe would have insisted he go even if he did try to get out of it.

The thing went to smash a bulldozer, "I am the defender of the past and I will fix this world with my own inventions."
The blonde woman pointed, "I may prefer the days of my youth, but I will admit my generation made mistakes and many of us fucked up the heads of the next generation leading to a chain reaction of the leader ones being fucked, only slightly less, but times changed culture changes, back in the past. Well I hate thepast when it was the present as a woman who was half Japanese. It was horrible times, for the majority even if people could get a job and afford a house. Everything else doesn't make it worth it!"

While being shocked, "using a beast of the past to defend the modern world you confuse me lad!" he moved the machine despite being shocked, "but this is steam driven no modern wires for that to get in the way of functions!" It went down for a smash with the tendril.
Max slashed a move card, "Banana surprise Dino slash!" the squid then slipped on a banana peel and fell on it's head. Sandra laughed, "Blukic and driba have a sense of humor for that one." Smythe found himself in a problem. He couldn't get it up, So he had to roll it into the ocean to get it bobbing in the water like it was made, but water put out the furnace. With this he turned flipping a switch a couple of times before it worked. A new smoke stack came up as he said, "Back up power, as my main is water logged." it smoked and it climbed back. "I do say good show, the gag was classic lad."
the thing then held out two tendrils and spun them to make storm winds. Max slashed the move, "Dino swing!" Chomp jumped grabbing tendril and swinging the steam punk robot around and around. Smythe was holding on saying, " oh god why do I still have a stomach." he said turning green and throwing up from the spin as he said, "Oh prehistoric power at its finest, the might of the past!" Chomp throw it into a squid city statue it was going to be taken down anyway. Smythe found himself unable to get the squid up again. Going into the water would put out his steam power, and he didn't have a back up for his back up. He opened the door and got up on his copper hat coming out, "Well Lad you have downed the mecha, It's a nice fight, It really is! but now you face me directly!" his arm roared out to be a cannon that fired as he held it. Chomp moved avoiding it.
Sandra blinked, "Max look!" She pointed, "his a cyborg a steam punk cyborg that's why the lighting strikes didn't do him harm, he is more steam driven Machine then man!" Smythe laughed as he fired on Chomp. Max smirked, "then no holding back! LGHTING AXE!" Chomp summoned axe of lighting jumped and spun into buzz saw. Smythe's eyes widened as he said, "Oh bugger!" as chomp came down slashing his cannon ball, his cannon arm, which was left, and half his copter rig making him fall. Getting up his face cracked like an old dolls face he pointed with his other hand at the boy. "Young Sir, Do tell me your name!"
Max crossed his arms, "Max Tennyson the second." he said as he used Eletric charge with Chomp to charge while on lighting, Smythe turned swinging his other arm off to make it explode on chomp filling room with steam as he left saying, "Very well then Max Tennyson the second, You are here by my archenemy. Our next duel of the glorious past of this world shall end with my victory so swears Steam Smythe your archenemy. you are hearing this form my voice box which is radio I dropped I have jumped on my feet's built in skies and steam power to jet away to go repair myself and face you again. Sandra coughed as the smoke cleared and she saw the voice box and she said one thing, "Oh my! well congratulations Max you have a personal reason to dislike squids, you are a full Tennyson this day. " She petted his head, "And you have your own rouge gallery now." Max turned Chomp into a card and smiled as he did a jump for victory.
When they got home they saw Ben covered in sea weed shirtless at the door as he said, " We had a underwater meat eating plant hazard... I turned it into sushi wraps." he pulled it off, "but I need a bath amazing, even though I am pretty much sick of water how was your guys' day?" Sandra said, "your brother battled a steam punk cyborg with a steam powered squid themed Mech and won." Carl walked up with a stunned look as he said, "That beats me protecting space whales form illegal space whalers today story. There was just one Captain Kork apparently he is my archenemy now." Max said, "Same thing with the steam driven one and me."
they opened the house to hear a scream as a sound proof barrier was broken! They ran in Card out for Max, Gun drawn for Carl who gave his wife one, ultimatrix armed for Ben. They saw Dorthy freaking the freak out, in andoite form with her work out , outfit on! She was screaming. Carl covered his sister's energy mouth, it was hot to the touch but he didn't care, "Why my hand is burning you turn human and then explain why you are freaking out big sister." She nodded and turned human Carl waved his burnt hand bitching about it.
Dorthy took a breath, "Okay so the story goes like this, I heard they brought that limit flavor of soda from the eights back on TV, as I missed the 80s when I was kidnapped I went to go buy some, I walked to the store at the corner got the last can, paid for it and walked home, when I got back I went check on my daughter. After the accident that did this too me, the modern invention that ripped away a good bit of my flesh." he said petting the clamp as he said, "No matter I now have a rival, someone to sharpen my sword against in weaponization of the past, For the first time since I stopped truly being a man, I feel like one! I feel so alive so human! Thank you Max Tennyson the Second, for given me new will to live and drive." he opened a bottle of wine and drank, "Do Max Tennyson the Second." he drank, "My new archenemy , defeating him shall be my new reason to live." He drank up smiling, " Sweet sweet will to live. How I will miss it when I do destroy him so I can destroy modern inventions and bring about the new age of steam...I mean I could just go to the third world with this powers, but easy mode isn't fun." he said drinking and drinking between words.
