I huff a laugh as I load the dishwasher. "You didn't already know that?"

She nibbles her lower lip. "Everything is weird. The Bella you know feels like this whole other person. I don't remember her, so she's hovering on the periphery." She drops her eyes. "Like a dark shadow."
