Chapter 4: The Dinner.

"Kimberly darling!" The door opened and a jubilant Mr. Scott was stood there gleaming at Jason and his fiancé. Mason Scott immediately wrapped Kimberly and his son in a tight embrace before ushering them inside, leading them towards the living room.

Kimberly took in her surroundings. They were just as she remembered them from the last time she was here a few years ago. The walls were re painted, some more cosmetic work was done and though there were little changes throughout the house, there was no mistake. This was the house she knew very well from her childhood.

As Kimberly entered the familiar living room of the Scott's, She was met with a rush of fond memories flooding her mind. It was only when Jason feathered her hand with his own, that she was awoken from the slumber she was finding herself in.

Mrs. Scott came bustling out from the kitchen, took off her apron and walked into the living room and over to the couple.

"You look absolutely delightful Kimberly." Jeanette Scott said, pulling Kimberly and Jason into a warm hug. "I'm sorry that my hair smells of food." she said, releasing them and standing back to admire them together.

"Thank you. You look great yourself," Kimberly said, throwing Mrs. Scott a warm smile. "And please don't apologise. Your hair doesn't smell of food at all"

"Yeah but this house does. Are you making what I think you're making mom?" Jason inquired.

Mr and Mrs Scott sat down and motioned for Kim and Jason to do the same.

"Yep. I'm pretty sure that lasagne is Kimberly's favourite dish of mine." Mrs Scott smiled at the couple who were sinking into the soft couches.

"Oh Mrs Scott, you know I love all of your food." Kimberly smiled back at Jason's mom. "Lasagne is definitely at the top of the list. You know me so well. "

"I do don't I. If I recall correctly, that's the first thing you ate when you visited our house for the first time." Mrs Scott said.

Kimberly let out a little giggle. "Yes, I remember. The first night we moved to Angel Grove." Kimberly glanced to her side towards her boyfriend. "And Jason here crashed into that big tree outside and broke his arm."

"Hey. Let's not talk about that." Jason gave his parents and Kimberly a wry smile.

"Well, if you didn't suck at riding your bike so much," Mr Scott gave his son a wink as he poured them all a glass of wine. "Maybe you two wouldn't be together today."

"Speaking of." Mrs Scott leaned forward towards her son and his fiancé. "How, when and where?" she gave them both an excited smile.

Kimberly was dreading this. She didn't know why but that dread had mostly vanished now that she was here in front of her future in-laws, "Well, it happened in Florida really." She said, her face blushing slightly.

"I knew it!" Mrs Scott slapped her knees. "I told you didn't I Mason. Jason left the peace conference to live with Kimberly in Florida."

Jason and Kimberly looked at each other, both pairs of eyes dancing with amusement.

"I remember. But let them talk Jean." Mr Scott said, handing them both a glass of red wine.

Jason took a sip of the wine "Well to be honest mom. I only went to Florida to support Kimberly at the pan globals. I intended to come back home afterwards."

"Oh, But you didn't." Mrs Scott replied.

"No I didn't." Jason and Kimberly's eyes met once again, so did their hands, much to the delight of Mrs Scott who exuded delight.

"I was alone in Florida for a whole year. No friends, no family, nobody. I ended up being so quiet and different." Kimberly said, squeezing Jason's hand and looking at both of his parents. "When Jason came to support me, I felt like me again. I felt like I had my childhood best friend again. It was something I needed."

"And I saw how excited Kim was. She told me all about how awful it was living in Florida by herself, so I decided to stay with her until I figured out what to do next." Jason said.

"Yes and we ended up growing closer and closer after that." Kimberly said, taking her eyes away from Mr and Mrs Scott and turning them to the man next to her. "We both kinda slipped back into how we were years ago before, well you know. Before life gets complicated in the late teens.

Mr and Mrs Scott nodded, understanding what Kimberly was attempting to detail.

Jason smiled and looked into the beautiful brown eyes next to him. "We actually grew even closer than before and then out of nowhere,"

"We fell in love!" Jason and Kimberly said in unison. Causing Mrs Scott to smile as wide as she could.

"But that was years ago. Last I recall, you were having a road trip across America, doing god knows what." Mr Scott stated with a look of confusion on his face.

Jason noticed a slight change in Kimberly's expression. Not many people would have noticed it but Jason did.

"Yes, well we kinda hit a road bump." he mumbled, quickly changing the topic. "But that's in the past. We got over it and here we are today."

"I'm so happy!" Mrs. Scott said, a joyful tear dropping onto her cheek. "I'm not surprised one bit. I always knew from when you guys were younger that there was always something between you,"

"Yeah that seems to be the general consensus," Jason commented, thinking back to the amount of people that had said that.

"Yeah. I mean, it makes a lot of sense now that we're actually here." Kimberly gave Jason's hand a little squeeze. "I think we see now what everyone else saw."

"Oh you're so cute." Mrs Scott added, not being able to control the happiness that was taking over her soul.

"Are you planning on settling back in Angel Grove?" Mr Scott asked, twirling his glass of wine.

Jason and Kimberly shared eye contact for a second before Kimberly answered. "Yes. I mean, no matter what, Angel Grove will always be home."

"Definitely, I think there's no better place to start building our life together." Jason added.

"So, When's the wedding?" Mrs Scott asked, seemingly now under control of herself as she took a swig of her wine.

"Ummm." Jason mumbled as he and Kimberly didn't notice their cheeks glowing a bright shade of red. But Mr Scott did.

"Whenever you decide, whatever you decide, you have our full support." Mr Scott stated, offering the couple a bright smile.

"Thanks dad. It means a lot."

"Yes Mr Scott. Thank you," added Kimberly.

"Mr Scott? You better start calling us mom and dad." Mr Scott replied, clinking glasses with his wife in agreement.

Mrs Scott quickly leapt up to check on her lasagne, saving Kimberly from an awkward reply.

The lasagne was ready and was going to be served, so the Scott's and Kimberly made their way to the dining room in the expanded kitchen. Kimberly adored what they had done to the place and though it looked much bigger than she remembered, though it still harboured fond memories.

As Kimberly sat next to Jason and was given a huge plate of lasagne and an Italian salad on the side, she had a huge flashback to her first evening in Angel Grove, one of the happier moments in her childhood.

She thanked Mrs Scott and remembered that along with her parents, she was invited over to the Scotts for her father to check on Jason's arm after his accident. They ended up staying for some lasagne it was the first time she met Jason and they instantly connected. Though there were plenty of bumpy roads in the future of their journey, that fateful night seemed so important right now.

"Let's dig in." Mr Scott said, picking up his knife and fork.

"Are you not going to say grace darling?" Mrs Scott asked her husband, who blushed a little.

"I don't think I should bore Kimberly and Jason." He replied.

Jason looked at his father in awe. "When did you start saying grace dad?" Jason asked, totally bewildered.

"Let's just say, I finally found God kiddo."

"Well if it's important to you Mr Scott, it's important to us." Kimberly said with a smile.

"Okay, thank you darling." Mr Scott answered before raising his eyebrows. "But you gotta find a better name than Mr Scott.

Mason smiled at Kimberly and closed his eyes whilst joining the palms of his hand together prompting his wife to follow suit.

Kimberly searched Jason's face for instructions, but he leaned in and held her hand gently and closed his eyes, encouraging Kimberly to copy him, feathering the back of his hand with her thumb.

"Bless us oh Lord for these thy gifts that we're about to receive from thy bounty through Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen."

"Amen." The words were repeating by everyone at the table and the meal was started. Kimberly felt at peace as she cut up her first piece of lasagne. She didn't know if it was the prayer or sitting next to Jason at his parents home for the first time as a couple, or maybe it was something else entirely. But as she took a bite of her potential mother in laws fabulous lasagne, all the nervousness, the anxiety and nerves seemingly disappeared as quickly as though they were nothing but light bulbs being switched off by an invisible being.

As Mrs Scott reminisced about the past and brought up some beautiful memories, Kimberly had to work extra hard to not smile too much, she had a big plate of food to finish after all.

Kimberly handed her now empty plate, to Mrs Scott. "Thank you so much. That was amazing." She smiled at the jubilant Mrs Scott, gently rubbing her abdomen which was threatening to burst. "Dare I say, it's even better than I remember."

Mrs Scott gave Kimberly a cheeky little grin. "Well, I've made some small adjustments. I can teach you if you want."

"Wow really?" Kimberly asked, her eyes opening up with excitement.

"Yes of course Kimberly dear. Its a secret family recipe and well..." Jean Scott picked up the remaining crockery from the table and winked slowly so that everyone could see.

"I'm family?" Kimberly asked, excitement taking over her mind at the thought of it.

"Well you have been for the last decade and a half, and well." Jason's mom put the plates in the sink and returned to the table to finish off her sentence. "Now you'll actually and formally become a part of the family."

Kimberly got up from the table and pulled Mrs Scott in an excited hug. Jason felt his face becoming warm so he looked at his father with a slightly amused twinkle in his eye. His dad raised his eyebrows in return.

"But then, that means that I need to help you with the washing up and cleaning," Kim said, releasing her hold on the woman.

"You will do no such thing Madame." Mrs Scott. Responded, waving a stern finger towards Kim, albeit with a large portion of jest. "You are both our guests tonight, anyway, we have to eat dessert first."

"Dessert? Oh Mrs Scott I couldn't-"

"It's homemade strawberry cheesecake. Your favourite dessert, well after frozen Yogurt, which isn't a dessert really," Mrs Scott halted her little thought when she saw the look of excitement on Kimberly's face

"Wow. Did I propose to Kim or was it you mom? Geez." Jason said, failing to contain his amusement upon seeing Kim's reaction.

"Well Jason dear, most wives and mother in laws don't get along." Kimberly said, moving to sit right next to her husband to be. "You should be happy that we do."

"Exactly!" Mrs. Scott said in agreement.

"I am happy, it's Just. Would you like to swap places and marry Kim instead?" Jason managed to squeeze out through his laughter.

"You didn't think that one through did you kid. That would make you my wife." Mr Scott said, chuckling at the look of horror on Jason's face.

Mrs Scott placed a humongous cheesecake in the middle of the table and served everyone a slice. Kimberly looked at the little slice of heaven in front of her. She could see the Graham cracker base, just about holding under the weight of the velvety soft, sweet yet tangy cream cheese and Mascarpone atop it, and the fruity strawberry sauce sitting on top of the cream cheese, in a stiff yet gooey manner. She couldn't fight the temptation and used her fork to cut a little bite from the wedge in front of her and closed her eyes as she wrapped it tightly inside her mouth.

"Oh my god." Jason had just swallowed his first piece and smiled at his mom. "You know I'm not a big dessert fan, but mom!"

"This is AMAZING Jean." Kimberly opened her eyes and licked her lips, eyeing up the dessert in front of her.

"Yeah. Either you've gone even better or we've just really missed you and your cooking." Jason said.

Mrs Scott chuckled at them both, glancing over at her husband who was devouring the cheesecake. "I think it's a combination of both."

Kimberly looked at her boyfriend and they both smiled in Unison. "I agree." Kimberly said.

The desserts were finished, and the rest of the dishes were washed, even through Mrs Scott's failed protests, Kimberly helped Jean wash up whilst Jason helped his dad clean the table. Once cleaning was done, the Scotts and Kimberly made their way to the living room to sit down, relax and unwind.

"Does anyone want a beer or a glass of wine?" Mr Scott offered.

"No thanks, I think I've drank enough for one day." Kimberly said with a smile, sitting down on one of the comfy couches along with Jason.

Mr and Mrs. Scott sat opposite the couple, Mrs Scott was beaming like a child at a carnival. "So," Jean Scott started, sitting forward and placing her elbows on her knees.

"Uh oh." Jason responded, faking a look of pure horror.

"Now, I know you guys ummm, got closer in Florida. But, well, I mean." Mrs Scott let out a little exhale, "I remember you two being so close in your teens, and even before that. I'm just going to say it. Were you two dating in High school? You know, before." Mrs Scott scrunched up her nose.

Jason and Kimberly knew exactly what Mrs Scott was referring to. They understood that she wasn't a nosey woman and meant no harm in insinuating Kimberly's relationship with Tommy. She was quite possibly the biggest Jason and Kimberly fan that they knew, her question was coming from a place of genuine excitement and happiness.

"No mom." Jason answered, getting a small look of appreciation from his fiancé. "We were just close friends."

"I totally agree with Jase on this, however," Kimberly raised her eyebrows and tossed Jason a shy grin. "It's safe to say that we both harboured feelings that were more than friendship. We just never acted on it."

"I knew it." Mrs. Scott clapped her hands together and smiled as wide as her lips would allow her to. "From the moment you stepped into this house for the first time Kimberly, not only did I see a connection with you and Jason, but I felt a connection with you that I couldn't explain." Mrs Scott's huge smile narrowed down to a small, but content smile, she locked eyes with Kimberly who could feel the love and warmth emanate from her like a bonfire on a cold winters evening.

"As you grew up, I was a witness to your connection growing deeper and deeper. The amount of times I could feel an electricity powered connection radiate from you both, I wanted to smack your heads together!" Mrs Scott finished, a frown now replacing her smile.

Jason and Kimberly's jaws hit the floor, they looked at each other in astonishment.

Mrs Scott ignored her husband's chuckle and explained what she meant. "You pair of idiotic, blind, immature little... Well... Teenagers! The whole of Angel grove saw that there was more to Jason and Kimberly than just friends." Mrs Scott's frown vanished and was once again replaced by a smile. "But I didn't say anything. A connection like that is rarely ever stifled, it's never ignored. I hoped and I knew you would find each other one day. And I'm so, so, so happy that you did. Cherish what you have, there's many couples out there that would be jealous of what you have."

Jason slipped his hand into Kimberly's as she fought off tears.

"Thank you, Mrs Scott." Kimberly said, sniffling a little and pursing her rosy lips.

"We are both beyond happy for you two. I couldn't have ever dreamed of anyone else to be our daughter in law." Mr. Scott added.

This was getting too much for Kimberly, she hesitantly let go of her partners hand and hurried over to her potential in-laws and embraced them both, whilst stifling the tears threatening to cascade down her face, she was quickly joined by Jason as the family shared a tender moment.

Eventually, they let go of each other and shared happy smiles. Jason and Kimberly noticed each other and both gulped down the saliva congregating in their mouths, a thirst for each other beginning to develop, especially after Jason's mom highlighted their relationship. They seemed to appreciate each other even more, if that was even possible.

"Mom, dad, thank you for tonight. It was amazing." Jason said.

"Totally. I was so nervous but you welcomed me like I was already a member of your family." Kimberly added.

"That's because you are, and have been for a very long time might I add." Mrs Scott responded, drawing another smile from the pretty lady in front of her.

"Are you sure you don't want to stay for a little longer?" Mr Scott asked.

"Oh let them go honey. They don't want to be around us old farts for too much longer." Mrs Scott told her husband.

"You're not old at all." Kimberly said.

"We live 10 minutes away now anyway guys. We'll be seeing each other a lot more often from now on." Jason added.

"Yes, come on we'll let you out."

Kimberly and Jason put on their coats, made their way out of the living room, and past the den. They both paused momentarily to look inside the room they shared so many fond memories in. Mr Scott opened the front door for them both and they all embraced each other wholeheartedly before Jason and Kimberly stepped outside.

Kimberly's eyes found her old house again. There was no car in the garage, and no lights on in the home. She turned around before Mr Scott closed the oak front door.

"Mr Scott."

Jason's dad halted and smiled. "Yes dear."

"I ummm, just wondered... Does my dad still live at our old house?" She asked.

Mr Scott frowned slightly before answering. "David, well. David comes and goes. He's got a job down at Reefside hospital but he also works out of town."

"Do you guys still talk to him?" Kimberly queried.

"We do. Not as much as we used to. But we still talk." Mason Scott gave Kimberly a gentle smile. "The last few years have been hard on David. But Kimberly. I want to assure you. He has never, and I mean never, forgotten about you."

Kimberly let out a raspy breath, thankful to hear the words from Mr. Scott's mouth.

"You could try knocking on the door. His car isn't there, but sometimes he comes back home for his days off when he works out of town, and he does take a train from wherever he is coming from." Mrs Scott added.

"He always disliked too much driving." Kimberly smiled to herself. "Thank you so much Mr and Mrs Scott."

"Our pleasure. Remember you're welcome here anytime you want. And you gotta ditch the formal titles kiddo." Jason's dad said with a chuckle and a shake of the head.

"Sorry." Kimberly said.

"Don't apologise. You two have a great evening." Mrs Scott said, with one last smile.

Jason and Kimberly heard the heavy door shut behind them and Jason turned to Kimberly who was staring at her old house and placed his large, warm palm into her delicate little hand. "Are you okay Kim?" He asked.

Kimberly tore her eyes off her house and looked into Jason's comforting eyes. "Yes baby. Can we try the door?"

Jason gave her a supportive smile. "Of course beautiful."

Kimberly gripped Jason's hand with a bit more pressure and stepped out from the porch. They made their way past the old beech tree and walked up the steps leading to number 173 Beech Grove. They reached the front door and Kimberly turned to her fiancé.

"You got this." Jason assured her.

Kimberly nodded, turned her head in front of her and lifted her knuckles up to the door.

Knock knock knock

There was just silence. No lights turned on, nobody made a sound. The only noise that was present was the mild autumn air whistling gently around them.

"He's not home."

"We'll keep trying. We don't live far at all." Jason said.

"Yeah, you're right. There's always next time." Kimberly added.

They rang a cab and waited on the old garden bench on Kimberly's old front yard.

"So, how did you find tonight?" Jason asked, stroking a strand of hair from in front of Kimberly's eyes.

She smiled at him, allowing Jason to breathe freely, knowing that his lady was happy. "Oh it was so cute. Your mom and dad are awesome Jase. There wasn't any awkwardness or weirdness. They treated me so well."

"I told you not to worry." Jason said, smiling widely.

"You were right baby. I just, you know, wanted to make sure my future in laws would be happy with me."

"Man, I think they're happier than me." Jason chuckled.

Kimberly pretended to be offended. Leaning away from Jason and offering him a sarcastic frown. "There better not be anyone happier than my hubby to be, you get to marry the sexiest girl in the world!" she raised her eyebrows and flared her nostrils.

"Oh baby." Jason responded, getting lost whilst looked at his woman's face.

Kimberly softened her expression until it was normal and asked "What?"

"You just turned me on so much." He responded with a rapacious stare.

"Just now? I've been trying to do that all evening." Kim said, innocently lifting up her dress to reveal a leg.

"And you succeeded." Jason's eyes darted towards Kimberly's exposed leg.

"So did you. You look so hot tonight Jase."

"Me? You're the one wearing that sexy dress that clings on to your curves just perfectly."

Kimberly leaned into Jason and grazed her lips against his ear "They're your curves too you know. Do with them what you please."

"Oh man, where the fuck is this cab." Jason managed to wheeze out, still shivering from Kimberly's actions and words.

"Is that a gun in your pocket sir?" Kimberly asked.

Jason looked down "No, that's me getting all excited, waiting to get inside of you." Jason eyed his girlfriend, focusing on her face. "You're getting off on this aren't you?" he asked as she giggled.

Kimberly winked at him, "Maybe."

"I have half a mind to take you to my den and,"

Kimberly cut him off, biting down on her lower lip. "And do what. Watch a movie like the good old days? Or something we've discovered more recently?"

"Kimberly, don't." Jason warned her. His thirst for her ready to explode.

"It won't be long now. Our cab is here."

And right she was. They got into the cab, survived the short drive to their new apartment, ran up to their floor hand in hand and promptly flung open the door before running inside. They kicked off their coats and shoes and locked their lips together in a violent, yet beautifully gentle kiss if that was even possible.

They made their way to their bedroom door whilst in one another's arms, hastily taking off each other's clothes until they landed on the bed in just their underwear. Kimberly positioned herself so that she was straddling Jason's lap.

"If you're lucky, I might let you do that thing tonight," Kimberly said, undoing her bra and then slapping her butt cheek.

Jason's eyes widened with excitement as his gaze moved past Kimberly and towards her butt which Kimberly was shaking in a teasing manner.

"Yes that, or maybe I should wait and give you it as a wedding present." Kimberly corrected him, winking once again.

Jason greedily took in the sight in front of him. "No more games baby. I wanna taste all of you, right now!" He eyed Kimberly's toned abdomen, before settling his gaze on her soft yet supple breasts, it didn't take long for him to lean forward and encase her already stiff nipple into his eager mouth.

A gasp escaped Kimberly's lips as Jason quickly rolled her around onto the bed to swap their positions and kissed every inch of her body, taking his time in making sure he didn't miss a spot as he kissed and licked all of her body, just as he promised. His hunger for her, only made her appetite grow more intense by the second. Before she knew it, Jason's tongue was gently feathering her inner labia and slowly moving up to the most sensitive part of her anatomy. Kimberly's eyes rolled back into her head as she wrapped her legs tightly around her lovers shoulders, giving him no choice but to go deeper and provide her with a pleasure she never knew was possible.

Moon Palace.

"Is General Venjix in position?" a loud robotic voice thundered through the upper chambers of the moon Palace.

"Yes Prince Gasket." Replied Silverback, the gigantic silver manticore/gorilla hybrid.

"Do any of other the generals know of my existence?" The Prince asked in a more hushed tone.

"No your highness. They still believe you are either dead, or somewhere in the Andromeda galaxy."

"Magnificent. So are the generals ready to aid Venjix and execute our plan?"

"Yes evil one" Silverback answered.

Gasket stood up from the big, uncomfortable looking throne made of stone and walked over towards one of the platforms that stood above the earth. "Excellent. Great timing too. I can see those original five power punks having a great time together. That irritating gold pig Jason seems to be very happy. Now is the chance to view our adversaries and see what powers they possess."

"My Prince, I don't wish to be rude, but after Andros saw our operation, I hear that Tommy Oliver is rounding up a team of all former red rangers to stop General Venjix and put a spanner in our plan." Scorpina spoke up, hesitantly inching towards the platform where the robot was stood.

"No Scorpina." Gasket twisted his head around to look at his accomplice. "This is exactly what I want. Why did I choose the moon which is so close to earth? I wanted one of the rangers to find out what we were doing. We need to observe what we are dealing with."

"From what I have discovered oh evil one, the power rangers have all got temporary powers. I don't know how long they will last." Silverback commented.

"And that's why I have devised this plan my silver soldier. Serpentera is not nearly as powerful as before, even when fully repaired, nor is general Venjix and his group of misfits as powerful as they once were. They will be a good challenge for the rangers, but not enough of a challenge to defeat them." Prince Gasket saw the looks of confusion on his minions faces. "This way, we will truly see the threat these rangers offer. And they will believe that they have defeated the biggest threat to their planet. But they have no idea what else we have in store for them."

"So Venjix has no chance. You are leading him out like a lamb for slaughter?" Silverback inquired.

"No, he has a chance, though a very slim one." The evil robot appeared to have a smile on his metallic face "It's all for the greater good." Gasket turned around and made his way back to the throne where his wife was stood waiting.

"The fight will take place on the moon Prince Gasket. That is incredibly close to this palace. Won't we be discovered?" Silverback asked.

"You should have more faith in us Silverback." Gasket snapped. "Master has placed a powerful spell around the moon Palace. To everyone but us, it looks totally un occupied. Not only that, but he has placed a veil over us. Even if those rangers come here, we will be totally invisible to them."

"A great piece of magic there by master. I have full faith in him and of course, you." The silver plated monster bowed to the clunky robotic Prince sat on his throne.

"Brilliant. Though we have no idea how many rangers there are, who are the ones we should target and how powerful they are. If your sources are correct and the Zeo rangers are no more. I will exact my revenge on the closest ones who caused destruction to my family and the machine empire. And we will find out that information after this plan is executed." Gasket said.

"I like it. Its very evil my Prince." Scorpina said.

"No my gallant warrior. It's very smart. With our masters aid, We will destroy the ones who caused so much pain to me, my family and the United Alliance of Evil." Gasket said, sitting back down on the throne, Princess Archerina sliding onto his knee with a cringy scrape of metal on metal.

"We will exact our revenge on those who wronged us. As those pesky humans say. This isn't a sprint, it is a marathon." Said princess Archerina.

"Exactly my dear. This will be a slow torturous death for those brightly coloured Idiots. We will not only destroy their bodies, but their minds also." Gasket said with a steady calmness in his metallic voice. "Speaking of torture, how is our yellow bargaining chip,"

"She is losing hope my Prince." Scorpina answered.

"How wickedly good. Make sure you keep her alive. Did you get her some earthen food?"

"Yes Prince Gasket. May I be excused to see to our guest?"

"Of course my golden arachnid." Prince gasket replied.

Scorpina bowed at her Prince and curtly nodded at Silverback before heading out of the throne room and towards a huge grey staircase leading to the lower parts of the castle. Scorpina briskly skipped down the stone stairs, clanking her golden armour along. Each second, the air seemed to get thicker, the lights began to fade, rendering mere mortals blind. As she reached the dungeons, it was nearly pitch black, the air was stifling and it wasn't due to the fact that they were practically next to the moon either, no, the magic in the castle allowed the atmosphere to be habitable for most life forms, it was air full of foreboding and fear.

Scorpina ran to the far side of the room and clanged her metal plated fingers along the walls of a cage. "Oii, yellow scum. Wake up," she said.

There was stir in the cage and through the darkness,. Scorpina managed to watch as Aisha gingerly sat up.

Scorpina opened a bag that was attached to her shoulder and withdrew a couple of Bananas, a large foil bag, a bar of chocolate, a little cardboard box of some kind and a large bottle of water. "You know the drill." Said the villainous almost humanoid monster.

Aisha automatically moved to the back of her cage, standing straight with her back against the wall. Scorpina opened the cage door and threw in the items in the hands.

"Did you get them?" came a feeble, faint voice.

"Yes, just make sure nobody finds out." Scorpina replied, locking the cage door once again.

Aisha fumbled around the floor and scooped up the contents. She unscrewed the bottle of water and took a big swig, shaking slightly as her arms are having a difficult time of holding the bottle. She sat the bottle down on the cold floor and followed it down, bringing her knees up to her chest. She knew this position well as it offered her a slight bit of light to see what Scorpina had brought her.

She could see the large bag of chips, the chocolate bar and the little box she had asked for. "Thank you." She said.

"Don't thank me you punk. What is that anyway." Scorpina said, pointing to the box.

"It's for women, you know human women. We ummm, we require this now and again." Aisha said, laying the box down and opening the bag of chips. She inhaled deeply as the aroma of barbecue filled her nostrils.

"Oh. Is it for the bleeding?" Scorpina asked, stepping backwards, not liking the smell of barbecue at all.

Aisha greedily stuffed her mouth with a handful of deep fried potato goodness. "Yep."

"How can you eat that bile. It stinks." Scorpina commented.

"It's better than those alien worm things you offered me." Aisha replied.

"Space worms aren't just delicious, they're full of strength and nutrients too." Scorpina moved to the wall behind her and leaned against it.

Aisha, after satisfying her initial hunger, now started to eat the potato chips one by one. "Yeah maybe for you guys, but they obviously aren't fit for human consumption." Aisha said, with a bit more strength in her voice.

"Humans are so weak."

Aisha raised her eyebrows. "Let's not get into that debate again Scorpina."

"I agree."

They sat and stood there in silence whilst Aisha finished off her chips, absolutely destroyed the snickers that Scorpina had brought her and ate one of the bananas, saving the other for a snack.

"There's more food in my bag. I'll keep hold of it until your next feeding," Scorpina said, standing straight and patting her ugly bag.

"Even though you come out with some silly words. You're alright Scorpina." Aisha said, standing up.

"Do not mistake my fulfilling of duties for weakness human. I am simply making sure I do as my Prince tells me. Keeping you alive."

"Well, if I don't get a burger in me at some point, I don't think I'll be alive for much longer." Aisha quipped, dreaming about a cheeseburger with extra cheese and crispy bacon.

"I'll see if I can steal one of those things next time I go."

"I've told you to take money and pay for it, but you won't listen."

"Your money has no use, besides, you should be glad I'm stealing and not killing someone to take their food."

"See, you're alright."

"Keep saying that, and I won't be getting you anything besides those fruit things and water."

Aisha smiled at Scorpina as Scorpina retrieved the rubbish from the bars in the cage handed over by the former yellow ranger.

"Scorpina. What's going to happen to me. Am I going to die?" Aisha asked, leaning against the cage, her chains tugging her back.

"You know I can't talk about this. If you cooperate with me, I see no reason to kill you. And I see no reason that Prince gasket will kill you either. But that's if you shut up and do what I say."

"So why keep me here if you aren't going to kill me?"

"I've said enough. Now shut up you slime or I'll come in there and reapply the bruises your face."

Aisha frowned slightly and fought back tears as she moved to turn her back to Scorpina. "Ummm I need to use this now, if you don't mind-" Aisha started, taking out a soft pad of sorts from the box.

"Trust me. I have no desire of seeing your hideous human parts." Scorpina replied, turning her back to Aisha as she carried out what she needed to do.

After completing her task, Aisha handed the box over to Scorpina. "You know, I'll need one again tomorrow.*

"I know. I'll see you tomorrow yellow ranger."

"I'm not a power ranger anymore." Aisha said as she watched Scorpina ascend the staircase leading out from the dungeons, taking a quick look back at Aisha in her cage, before disappearing out of sight.

Aisha shook the bars of her cage with the little energy she gained from the food. She didn't know how long she had been here but she was sure it had been over a week. She had expected the power rangers to come help her by now. Surely Zordon would have immediately sensed danger to her. She didn't know if Tommy, Kat, Tanya, Adam and Rocky were still power rangers, but she would give up anything to see their faces again. Especially Rocky.

She slumped down on the cold floor of the dungeon and pushed aside the old bottle containing her toileting contents. She didn't know what to do anymore. She was weak and powerless, and she was going mad by sitting here by herself all day and night. She was losing hope.

Yes, the events at the moon Palace are slightly behind the rest of the story. Its meant to be that way as it shows two separate timelines. It'll all make sense soon.

That wasn't the best chapter, I know, I'm sorry but these things are vital to the story. I intend to publish the next chapter a lot faster.
