Chapter 6 – Speech is silver, silence is golden.

Sorry I've taken such a long time with this chapter. I've been rather busy with life and it's various offerings.

I shall get the next chapter out much quicker. But in the meantime, enjoy this slight change of pace and scenery.

9000 BC, Andromeda galaxy.

Planet Persifca.

An enormous, gorilla like creature was stood in a kitchen of sorts, mixing something in a large bowl made of stone. She turned her head 180 degrees to look at her child on the floor behind him her.

"Son, go get your brother. Your rock worm eggs with lava bread is nearly ready." She said in a gruff, growl. A human wouldn't have been able to understand her but her son did as he jumped up in the air with excitement.

"Yes mother." He said. The young monster child stood up and turned around, looking for his brother. He briskly exited his large house made of some sort of stone and alien metals and walked over to a rock formation not too far away from his home and saw his brother playing with a large slug-like creature. Both brothers looked very similar to their mother, but had a more menacing appearance. Sharper teeth, bulkier bodies, little wings, which were still growing and tails with a sharp point at the end of them.

"Hey Clem," He acknowledged the creature before turning to his brother. "Goldie. Mother said that our meal is nearly ready. Let's go."

"Bye Clem. I'll see you tomorrow." The younger brother waved ar his friend. "We will go looking for some parasites around the meteorite graveyard." Goldie said to his slimy friend.

"That will be so much fun. See you later Goldie." The long, slimy creature replied.

Goldie stood up, brushed the rock dust off his fur and made his way over to his brother. But as he did so, they heard an explosion go off not so far away.

"What is that?" Goldie asked.

"Goldie, we have to make a run for it. Let's go to mother right no-"

A blast went off again, this time, mere metres away from them.

"Noooooo! Clem!" Goldie looked towards the blast and saw his friend laid there, split in two. His cylindrical body oozing brown slime.

"LET'S GO. NOW BROTHER. CLEM IS GONE."

Goldar stood motionless, watching his friend breathe his final breath and eventually close his eyes. His brother who was slightly older and larger than him, grabbed him by the tail and dragged him away from the rock formation, just as another blast went off, accompanied by laser beams falling like acid rain.

The elder brother dragged his younger brother away but they saw an army of monsters behind them, slaying everything in their path. They decided to run for it, as fast as their thick and hairy legs would enable them.

Miraculously, both children had found their way to their now damaged and rather dusty home. Their mother was cowering underneath a metal shelter of sorts in the kitchen. "My babies. Come here." She said. Her sons instantly ran over to her as she wrapped her large, hairy arms around them and began to stroke the hair on their necks.

"Where is father? Is he not back from duty yet?" The older son said.

"Not yet Silvie. He should be home but unfortunately, he is not." The mother replied, searching the vast area around them for any sign of her husband.

"Is this it mother? Are we done for?" the younger child asked.

"I do not know Goldar darling. It may be, it may not be." The mother answered honestly.

The mother and her two children watched as everything around them was destroyed. Buildings exploded, big holes blasted into the ground causing cracks and landslides on the planets surface. After a few minutes which felt like eons, the chaos halted, the explosions stopped and so did the laser beams.

"Is it finished?" The young Goldar asked.

"I am not sure baby. I hope so."

"We must have defeated them." The older brother said.

A cackle of evil, unholy laughter filled the room. "Defeated us. Then what is this?" A monstrous alien entered the room accompanied by one other who looked very similar. Almost human like, a flayed human that is. His entire skin was peeled away leaving bare flesh above what one would guess would be bone. Gold armour covered most of his body which looked almost wet. It wasn't blood, it wasn't painful either as this creature's muscles pulsated with each step he took and he smiled in pleasure.

"Nooooooooo!" The mother cried. Goldar broke down and started crying whilst his brother in contrast, his face filled with a most terrifying anger.

The two beings entered into the light in the middle of the room, one of them carrying a deformed, battered head that resembled a lion, but with much more monstrous features, like its overly large fangs. One of the evil beings, similar to the first, just smaller in size and with silver armour encapsulating his flesh, dangled the head in front of the family and cackled again with laughter. "You thought you could fight the mighty Emperor Dedd and actually win. You inbred, ugly mutts." The larger of the two beings said, his inhuman, growling voice penetrating the entire house.

"My husband. This cannot be." The mother cried, looking away from her husbands mutilated head, blood slowly dripping from the mane of hair below the neck and to grey coloured, stone floor.

"Oh, but it is my dear. This war has gone on far too long." Said the creature with silver armour in a similar growl. Causing the mother to tremble.

"Yes. And my son here, Zedd, was the one who beheaded this fool who thought he could defeat us. And you are next." The emperor said, lifting his enormous staff with D at the top and shot a crimson light at the mother who subsequently crumpled into a heap atop her sons no longer shaking from fear. Her eyes motionless, her body, stiff. The sons screamed in anger and pain, the older brother stood up and ran towards the monster who just killed his mother.

"Get him Zedd." The emperor said.

"No, Silverback don't." Goldar pleaded, watching on as his brother proceeded forward.

"Yes father." Zedd met the child head on and quickly drew his own staff, identical to his father's but emblazoned with the letter Z instead a D. He pointed it towards the child and shot a bright red beam at him which stopped him in his tracks. The youngster continued fighting and flailed his arms around and gnarled his big sharp teeth, to no avail. He was rooted on the spot.

"What are you doing Zedd? Stop playing with him and kill him!"

"But father. We can use them. Manticores are dangerous creatures. And this one has a lot of courage." Zedd growled.

"Oh but they are not full Manticores. What race is the mother?" The emperor asked in his deep, intimidating growl.

Zedd inspected the fallen mother. "She appears to be a space ape sir. Powerful creatures."

"Can you control and train them?" Dedd asked.

Zedd surveyed the brothers, he noticed the smaller brother holding his mother's broken body and the older sibling was still trying to fight. He didn't know why, but he felt a tinge of sorrow for them both, especially the younger one. He knew it would be hard work domesticating them, but as the younger brother looked up at him, he made his mind up.

"Yes father. I can."

550 years later.

Planet Hellympus.

"Well done Goldar. You are becoming even more proficient with a sword." Zedd was sat on a metallic throne upon a pedestal in a large courtyard. The courtyard was within the bounds of a huge castle, a castle that belonged to emperor Dedd.

Goldar had just managed to defeat four Tenga warriors in a bout of sparring. The Tenga warriors stood up and dusted themselves off, adjusting the plates of armour on their chests and heads.

"Thank you oh evil one." Goldar growled back. He was now much larger having grown to six feet and gained a lot of body mass. He stood up triumphantly before going down on one knee facing Zedd.

"I think you deserve some more armour to go with your name and talent." Zedd lifted his staff and shot a golden beam at Goldar's body. A large golden helmet appeared out of nowhere and fixed itself to the giant ape's head. Goldar stood up and examined his new armour with his fingertips.

"Thank you, my lord. It is a gruesomely brilliant addition." Goldar said, impaling his new golden sword in the ground and kneeling in front of Zedd once again.

"Well you certainly deserved it." Zedd turned his visor to the side of Goldar and just behind him. "It is your turn now Silverback. Defeat these tengas and I will complete your armour also."

Goldar's larger brother stood up from a rock which was being used as a seat and walked over to the battle area, a round, dusty circle of some form of sand, in the middle of the huge courtyard.

The Tenga warriors huddled together and once again adjusted their armour. They looked at each other nervously as Silverback entered the battle area.

"Start!" Lord Zedd growled.

Silverback slowly and confidently walked over to the tengas, almost as though he was stalking them. His pace instantly quickened as he lifted up his sword and lashed it at the Tenga warriors who quickly moved out of the way and separated slightly. Silverback twisted on the spot, following his opponents and swung his sword around as the blade heavily connected with the armoured chests of two of Zedd's henchmen, both of whom were slammed hard on the dusty floor from the force of the sword being swung with such velocity and power.

Silverback, wasting little time, charged towards the remaining two Tengas. He wrapped his hands around one Tenga's neck, pulling his head down and colliding it with the top of his knee, instantly rendering him unconscious.

The final Tenga warrior stripped off his training year and was quickly running away in fear, almost on the edge of the large courtyard and away from danger. Silverback lifted his head to watch the opponent running away. The giant monster lifted up his sword and launched it into the air as though it was a javelin. Silverback turned around and bowed at Lord Zedd, the sword behind them, lodged into the armour-less back of the Tenga, killing him on the spot.

Lord Zedd peered at the bowing Silverback through his visor. "You were not supposed to kill them Silverback. I have warned you on this before." Zedd looked at the remaining Tengas still on the floor of the battlefield. "However, you have done extremely well. Stand up my soldier."

Silverback stood up from his rather half hearted and lazy bow. Lord Zedd shot a silver beam at the warrior in front of him and Silverback's previously uncovered knees and shins were now encased in brilliant silver armour. His whole body was now more or less covered in armour, save perhaps his inner biceps, underarms, behind the knees and other areas that provided dexterity.

"Goldar come stand next to your brother," Lord Zedd commanded.

Goldar obeyed his master, walking up and standing next to his taller and bulkier brother.

"You have both done exceptionally well. You have made huge progress and are now ready to join our forces." Zedd raised his arms triumphantly as he observed Goldar raise his own arms up in victory. "You may go to your quarters now for a well earned rest. Be ready to be called upon for your duties at any time." Zedd said, waving them off.

"Aargh, thank you oh evil one. We will not disappoint you, master." Goldar snarled.

"See to it that you don't. Now off with you. I have other matters to attend to." Zedd snapped, standing up from his throne and turning his back to the space ape/manticore brothers who both bowed to their master and walked away towards their quarters up in a part of the castle beyond the courtyards. Once they had reached the stairs leading to their chambers, Silverback halted his brother by dragging his arm back.

"What was that Goldie. You fool!" He snarled.

"What was what brother?" Goldar asked, acting surprised.

"You know what I'm referring to. Let's finish this in our chambers." Silverback stated, allowing his brother to follow him into their room. Once inside, the older brother slammed the large metal door shut and began to take off his silver armour.

"The way you grovel to that flayed freak. Why do you do it?" Silverback asked, putting down his sword in its sheath and putting his armour aside, showing the mass of hair on his muscular torso and back.

Goldar sat down on what appeared to be his bed. A large size legged table of sorts which was topped with some form of cloth and soft padding. "Well, he is our master. He is the one training us to fight." He said, making himself comfortable, keeping his golden armour on.

"Our master?" Silverback snapped his head around and to glare at his younger brother. "Have you forgotten how him and his kind destroyed our planet. How he beheaded our father, how his father murdered our mother!" Silverback tried to keep his voice quiet, but you could hear the venom behind his hate filled words.

"How could I forget brother. I have NOT forgotten." Goldar snapped back. "I will never forget what happened to us Silverback."

"Are you sure?" Silverback asked, throwing his brother a suspicious look. "The way you are obedient to Zedd shows otherwise."

Goldar and Silverback glared at each other, both of them getting angry with the other's words.

"Look brother. I will never forget what emperor Dedd and his armies did to our planet and our parents. Never! Lord Zedd however, he kept us alive that day. He took us under his wing and trained us, looked after us." Goldar explained.

"Yes, he did. After decapitating our father!" Silverback snapped back.

Goldar stood up, all tensed up with his eyes burning embers. "Yes he did. And instead of killing us, he stood up for us and gave us sanctuary. I don't love him, but I do respect him for how he's treated us."

Silverback walked towards his brother, squared up to him. He was at least a foot taller and hulked over his younger brother, who took a step backwards. Though the older brother was larger, they looked practically the same. you could only distinguish them from their different coloured armour and Silverback's greyish tinge to his fur.

"Brother. We should not fight. We are all that's left of Persifca." Goldar watched as his brother's Posture softened a little. "We are all that's left of our clan."

Silverback took a step back and relaxed his muscles, knowing deep down that what Goldar was saying, was true. "You are right little brother. I love you, I just don't want you to forget where you came from." Silverback said, gently laying his large, heavy hand on his brother's shoulder.

"I will never forget Persifca or our mother and father." Goldar said, placing his own gnarly hand on top of his brother's. "This is about survival. We have to play it carefully if we are to flourish and become feared warriors amongst all the nearest galaxies."

"You are correct brother. I say we go out and hunt for dinner. What say you?" Silverback said, moving back to retrieve his sword from the chair he left it on.

"Let's do it. What do you desire to eat today?" Goldar asked.

"I don't know. Its a shame this stupid planet does not have any rock worms." The giant silver warrior replied.

"Oh brother. Rock worms would not be able to quench our hunger anymore." Goldar said, opening the huge door with ease for his brother.

"Yes, you are right. Well, I wouldn't mind a couple of erebus sheep to tear into."

250 years later.

Planet Hellympus.

Silverback triumphantly opened the gates of the courtyard belonging to a huge castle, carrying over his shoulder, a bundle of severed heads, limbs and other body parts tied together with rope and tucked neatly between his wings. "We did it brother. The star of Apollon is now ours." He spoke.

"We sure did. One less enemy for the empire of Dedd." Goldar replied, following his brother past the courtyard and towards the east wing of the castle which led to the throne room. They passed by a pair of gigantic pillars and arrived at the huge doors of the castle and waited for the human sized, bug-like servants to open the doors belonging to the castle. The servants were ghastly little things with multiple eyes, wings and antennae. Goldar and Silverback barged past them and laid their trophies down on the floor in the throne room in front of a now, ageing emperor Dedd and descended down to bend the knee.

"Excellent. Well done my warriors." Emperor Dedd growled. "That star now belongs to me. Did they put up any resilience?" The emperor asked, twiddling his staff in his skinless hands.

"They tried oh evil one." Goldar answered.

"But we put a stop to it." Silverback said, standing up and handing the king a head from his collection. "This is the head of King –"

"He was not a king!" Dedd snapped, forcing Silverback to prostrate once more and Goldar to kneel even lower. "Gogolon was a mere parasite feeding off the other stars and their inept leaders in this galaxy. But no matter. Thanks to you, he is history."

"Thank you my liege." Silverback replied.

"It was our pleasure, my most evil emperor." Goldar added.

"Okay." The emperor waved his hand and the two brothers got up to leave before they were stopped by the emperor. "I didn't excuse you. My dear wife and queen will be here any minute now to reveal your next missions. The Prince, Lord Zedd shall be accompanying her"

"Of course, sire. We wait their impending arrival." Goldar said bowing his head.

The emperor glared at the younger brother through his golden visor. "You seem to be getting a little soft Goldar. This is no time for brownnosing and bootlicking." He snapped.

Silverback glanced at his brother, sending him a look that said I told you. Goldar ignored his brother and apologised to the emperor whilst taking care not to look too soft. He was shaken out of his concentration by the entrance of a humanoid lady accompanying Lord Zedd. The two brothers prostrated once more in their direction.

"That will be all." Zedd growled, holding his hand up towards his mother, assisting her onto the raised platform on which two thrones were sat. The lady took her seat next to her husband and addressed the two warrior brothers.

"Silverback, Goldar." She nodded her auburn head towards them. She looked as though she was plucked from planet earth. Beautiful, light auburn hair, blue eyes, full lips and a pretty face to match. There was no difference to the humans from earth apart from the fact that she was naturally very muscular. "I hear that you have conquered the star of Apollon?" The queen asked.

"Yes, Queen Purnell." Silverback answered.

The Queen glanced at her husband to her right and then at her son who was stood next to her. "That's great news. Are you ready for your next mission?"

"Of course, my queen." Goldar replied.

"More than ready your highness." Silverback followed.

"Excellent." The Queen joined her fingers together and rested her forearms across the top of her thighs. "As you are both aware. My husband and son were as beautiful as me once. Until they touched that wretched Zeo crystal they sought for so long." She shook her head slightly and carried on.

"The Zeo crystal is the source for the energy that powers Zordon and his morphers which him and his little band of misfits use to fight back against the forces of evil." The trio atop the platform gave each other disgusted looks when Zordon was mentioned. "I have confirmation however, that the former green ranger, Rita Repulsa, daughter of the mighty master Vile, has indeed returned to the forces of evil and started a mutiny against that goody two shoes red ranger and his despicable team."

"There is however a problem." Lord Zedd added, forcing the brothers to move their gaze to their mentor. "During their last battle, Rita's general was killed by the red ranger. Rita has asked us for help and well-".

"We will be happy to bring honour to Hellympus and fight on the behalf of its royal rulers by assisting Rita."

"I have chosen you Goldar, for that honour." Lord Zeds corrected him.

"But, what about me sir?" Silverback asked, glancing at his brother with worry.

"You are needed elsewhere Silverback. There is an ancient magician in the Talos dimension that needs your assistance with consolidating his realm. I think you are perfect for that role with your powerful, unforgiving skill set."

"I understand my lord, but wouldn't it be better for me and Goldar to work together and speed things up?" Silverback asked before being interrupted by Emperor Dedd who stood up and shook in anger.

"How dare you question my son and his plans you overgrown monkey." The emperor growled with such power that the stone pillars inside the throne room shook with fear.

Silverback stared at the emperor, not showing any fear, anger building up inside him, until he felt his brother gently place his hand upon his.

"We are sorry my emperor." Goldar said, bowing down to the ruler of Hellympus, forcing his brother to silently follow suit.

The Queen held up her hand to recognise the brother's show of respect. "You shall both be spending the night here before you set off on your missions in the morn." Queen Purnell fixed her gaze on the older of the two brothers. "The warlock shall be teleporting you to his realm himself Silverback, as only his magic is powerful to do so, the Talos dimension is rather far away." The Queen moved her gaze to the warrior clad in gold. "We will teleport you ourselves Goldar, to Eltar, where the battle is being fought,"

"Though we will teleport you directly to Rita's stronghold, be vigilant Goldar, as the power rangers are once again gaining power and control over Eltar." Lord Zedd added, his visor fixed on his student. "You will most likely be needed straight away my golden warrior. Fight like I have trained you and do not fail me."

"Yes, evil one." Goldar said.

Zedd turned his attention to the older, larger brother. "You will be under no immediate threat Silverback as the warlock will somehow teleport you straight inside his impenetrable palace, but you will certainly be needed quickly. Be brave, viscous and represent your kingdom well."

The Queen addressed Goldar, fixing him with a serious glare. "If you see the Zeo crystal, do not touch it. Unless you want to be flayed." The queen quickly stole a glance at her husband and son. "Only an individual pure of heart can touch the Zeo crystal without sustaining damage."

The emperor spoke next. "When victorious, empress Rita will use her magic to take the Zeo crystal back with her to the M1 galaxy and to her home planet, Gamma Vile. There, master vile will harness the powers of the Zeo crystal and split it in order for you to bring back a crystal to me. Is that understood?" He asked.

Goldar bent the knee and bowed once more to his king. "Yes, my evil genius."

"Yes sir." Silverback added.

The Queen turned to the brothers, "You should go get ready for your missions and take a rest. You have an early start."

"Dismissed!" The emperor growled with wave of his hand. Leaving Lord Zedd to watch on as his two loyal servants dropped their trophies from their conquered star and left the castle in order to go to their quarters in the west wing.

"I can't believe they've split us up." Silverback growled as they entered their Chambers.

"It must have been out of necessity brother." Goldar replied, walking into the room and over towards the far wall.

"Necessity my big silver ass. I bet they had planned on separating us ever since they took us." Silverback snapped, walking over to a large chest full of weapons and torture devices.

The door of their Chambers opened, forcing both brothers to snap their heads back and look at the person who entered the room.

"What do we owe this pleasure Lord." Goldar fell to one knee.

"You don't need to do that. Stand up Goldar." Growled Lord Zedd. "I just came here to explain a few things before you head off to battle tomorrow."

The brothers catching each others gaze, the same, puzzled expression stamped on their monstrous faces. Lord Zedd advanced into the room and stood in front of the two brothers.

"First of all, I must admit, I did try and prevent you two splitting up, but unfortunately, it had to be done." Zedd planted his staff into the stone floor and put some weight onto it, apparently getting comfortable. "Secondly, my father appears as though he doesn't have long left."

Silverback stared at his brother in astonishment. They knew that the emperor was ageing but they didn't know he was ageing this quickly.

"How is that possible my liege?" Goldar asked, getting an annoyed look from Lord Zedd.

"You do realise Goldar, my father is many millenniums old. Unfortunately, age is catching up to him." Lord Zedd made his way to a chair to the left of the brothers, near to the far wall of the room and sat down, forcing the brothers to twist their heads around. "This may be the last operation that my father will oversee. So please do your best and make us proud. I went out of my way to nurture you two. You owe me this!"

Silverback knew at that moment what Goldar had meant all these years when he spoke about Lord Zedd in a positive manner. The flayed monster may very well be an evil monster, but here he was, admitting that he saved Silverback and his brother's lives.

Silverback clicked his heels together and saluted Lord Zedd, forcing his brother to emulate his actions. "Yes, my lord. We will do everything in our power to bring pride and respect to you and your family's name. We will destroy every single foe that dares to challenge the mighty Emperor Dedd and his kingdom We will not fail!".

"Make sure that you don't." Lord Zedd raised his hand and the brothers relaxed once more. "To give you an extra edge, I have forged you your own swords." Zedd picked up his staff and raised it into the air. A crack of lightning appeared inside the room and two swords followed it. Floating gracefully to each of their owners.

Goldar clutched his new, golden sword in his gnarly hand and stared in astonishment. Silverback grasped his own silver sword as it floated in front of him, the hilt was very sturdy, so sturdy that even his own, extremely powerful grip didn't affect it at all. He ran his finger down the flat part of the blade and felt its strength flowing through his veins.

"These are the most powerful and most expensive metals in our galaxy. The best, most absolute Hellympus iron was used with both swords, blended into steel to make your sword, coated with asteroid gold." Zedd pointed at Goldar. "And yours was merged with chromium and titanium to give it its shine and extra sharpness." He pointed at Silverback.

The two brothers admired their new weapons, Silverback even going as far as slicing through a nearby log from the fireplace. The sword carved through the wood like it was Lava melting it's way through an ice chip.

"I see that you like your new toys?" Zedd chuckled proudly.

"Yes, evil one. Thank you." Silverback answered.

"We shall be able to defeat even the strongest enemies with these weapons. Thank you my lord." Goldar added.

"Excellent." Zedd stood up and made his way towards the door. "Get some rest and I shall see you tomorrow my young warriors." He said, closing the door behind him.

20 years later

Planet Hellympus

There was a loud crack in the musty air of the throne room. A giant beast stepped out of the smoke and revealed himself.

"Silverback. You have returned." Lord Zedd was sat in the throne, overlooking the empty room.

Silverback laid down his powerful, conquering sword and got down to one knee. "Yes, my lord. The mission was successful. The powerful warlock has total control of his dimension. I have represented your father and his empire well." Silverback looked ahead of him and saw only Zedd. "Excuse me my lord. I was wondering if I could reveal my success to the emperor myself."

Zedd twitched uncomfortably in his seat. The pressure increased on his grip of his large staff in his right hand. "Do you think I sit here alone for my own amusement?"

"I'm sorry my Prince. I do not know of what you speak." Silverback replied, coming to the realisation that it was indeed, strange for Zedd to be sat on his father's throne without anyone else with him.

"My father, the great emperor of the Andromeda galaxy, passed away whilst you and your brother were on your missions." Zedd revealed, his visor fixed on an empty spot on the cold, stone floor in front of him.

Silverback was shocked to hear of the news. He lowered his other knee so that he was kneeling in front of Zedd, and he prostrated. Silverback grabbed his sword and stretched out both his arms in front of him, head almost touching the floor, the sword offered to the new emperor. "I am sorry to hear of the news, emperor Zedd. I submit myself, my devotion and my sword to you, your highness."

"Whilst I appreciate the gesture, I am not an emperor." Zedd's visor flashed red for a second, his gaze fixed on silverback. "My father was the emperor. And though I have taken over from his duties, I would like to be addressed as Lord Zedd. Not emperor. I cannot, and will not take my father's title. Stand up." Zedd demanded.

Silverback did as he was told and hastily got to his feet. "Yes, Lord Zedd."

"My dear mother has been in her Chambers, mourning ever since my father died." Zedd spoke softly for the first time today. "And what's more, we have no Zeo crystal." Zedd examined Silverback through his visor.

Silverback shifted slightly as he did his best to stand still and stay calm. "Does that mean, my brother and Rita have failed?" He asked.

"Unfortunately, so." Zedd answered.

"Where is my brother." Silverback squeezed his sword in his hand, his pulse increasing rapidly. "Do not tell me that he didn't make it,"

Zedd noticed the anger of his soldier and opted to stay calm in the situation. "No Silverback, he is alive."

The silver beast breathed a sigh of relief. "Where is he, lord Zedd? Is he here in the castle?"

Zedd paused for a moment before answering. "He is alive Silverback. But he has been imprisoned within a space dumpster along with Rita and sent deep into space."

" Nooooo. I must go and find it." Silverback bellowed, picking up his sword and turning around to leave.

"There is no hope Silverback. If Master Vile is not able to locate his daughter with his superior powers, we most certainly cannot."

Silverback grinded his sharp teeth and fought with his might to stay calm. He looked around the castle and could not imagine himself staying here alone, without his brother. He had already lost his parents, his planet, he couldn't face losing his brother as well. The very castle he was in, brought along nearly a thousand years' worth of memories here with his brother. He couldn't stay calm, no matter how much he tried.

"Then I don't want to be here, sitting on my haunches like a failure, waiting for a miracle to happen." Silverback snapped.

Lord Zedd had so far, stayed very calm. But his patience has been exhausted, especially after the death of his father and his mother's current condition. "Well then GO. I saved you from sure death and I turned you into the warrior you are today. But you want to now desert me?" Zedd's visor was crimson red, the glow from it, lighting up the throne room.

Silverback squared up in front of Lord Zedd, at the bottom of the platform that led to the thrones. "Saved us! You are the reason why we became orphans. The reason why Persifca is no more! The reason why my mother was killed in front of my very eyes!" Silverback retorted, his body beginning to shake with anger like a lie rumble of a volcano, threatening to explode.

"That is how conquering is done. Unfortunately, your planet's leaders weren't willing to bend the knee." Zedd rose from his chair, refusing to be intimidated.

"You were going to either kill us or enslave us!" Silverback inched closer to the platform.

"You insolent little monkey! We would've been happy to just be in control of the planet. But your leaders weren't having any of that. I saved you didn't I? " Zedd glared menacingly at silverback who was not backing down. "It is a shame that you aren't in that space dumpster instead of your brother. He knows loyalty."

"Yes, and look where its gotten him!"

"He fought with pride against the most powerful force that is good in our galaxy. He will be back to finish Zordon for good, now that he's trapped in a time warp." Lord Zedd muttered, his mind occupied with a plan now that Zordon wasn't around

"Zordon is trapped also?" Silverback probed.

Lord Zedd's mind was snapped back to the present as he once again turned his gaze to Silverback. "Yes! "He answered bluntly.

Silverback knew that there was now an opportunity to find his brother. With the most powerful forces of good, now weakened drastically, in his mind, there was a chance he could locate the space dumpster. He turned his back and walked towards the exit.

"I should've just killed you like I killed your father." Zedd whispered after him, just loud enough for Silverback to hear. After all he had done for this beast, he was going to desert him in his time of need.

Silverback heard the venom in Zedd's voice and swiftly turned around and walked towards Lord Zedd with his sword raised. Zedd, as though he was expecting this, let out a loud chuckle and raised his staff.

"You think you can defeat me with the very sword that I gifted to you?" He said, waving his staff and shooting red stars out from it. Once they hit the sword, the sword vanished from Silverback's powerful grip and reappeared in Zedd's free hand.

"Why don't you put down your magic wand and fight like the warrior you claim to be." Silverback challenged.

"I have taught you many things. But I have not taught you everything." Zedd raised his staff once more and shot a scarlet beam at silverback, who quickly, with the agility that defied a beast of his size, pounced out of the way.

"My turn." Silverback growled, unearthing a nearby slab of stone from the throne room floor and launching it at Zedd, who easily redirected the slab which shattered behind them against a wall.

"Enough." Boomed a voice from the far west of the room, near to a side door which led to the castle. "What is going on here?" Queen Purnell demanded as she walked over towards her son.

"Nothing mother. Go back to your chamber." Zedd answered.

The Queen walked over to her son and slapped him hard across the face, rendering it even redder than previously, even with all his skin melted away. "Don't you talk to your mother like that!" The queen crossed her arms against her chest. "Just because you have taken over from your father's responsibilities, doesn't mean you get to treat me like I'm nothing." Her voice, which started off powerful and authoritative, had began to weaken as she mention her late husband.

"I'm sorry mother. This ape has turned his back against us. I was angry. And I was out of order." Zedd explained.

"Is this true Silverback? You are aware of the laws regarding deserters?" The Queen asked, turning her face to her warrior.

"My brother, I must find him, my queen." Silverback replied.

The queen contemplated his answer for a second before turning back to her son. "You are now the ruler of Hellympus, Zedd. The laws are in your hands. You must decide the course of action, this will be the first of many difficult decisions." She told her son, moving her gaze on to Silverback. "If you do choose to leave, we have lost a ferocious warrior. Regardless of what action Lord Zedd takes, You will be missed." The queen retreated to the back of the throne room, and towards the doorway leading back into the castle. "And no more fighting." The Queen added before disappearing out of the room.

Lord Zedd turned to his protégé once his mother had left. "You have disappointed me Silverback. I have no option but to banish you from Hellympus and our solar system for mutiny and betrayal."

"Then so be it." Silverback replied.

"You do realise. You don't have much chance of survival out there by yourself. No food, no shelter, no nothing." Zedd explained.

"Yes. I am aware."

"This is suicide Silverback. But it's what you deserve for your actions today." Zedd raised his staff and a beam of grey light hit silverback square in the chest.

This was Silverback's last moment in this castle and on the planet Persifca. Using his powerful staff and magic, Lord Zedd banished Silverback from his solar system and sent into outer space.

The warlock Silverback had met in the Talos dimension, was the most powerful being he had ever encountered. More powerful than Zedd and his deceased father. If he had any hope of rescuing his brother. It would be with the warlock. But as of right now. He had nowhere to go, nothing to his name except for the sword Zedd had given him, once again, miraculously in its sheath attached to his big large back.

Silverback wandered the galaxies for thousands of years in search of his brother, or the warlock who may be able to help him. He eventually found out that Goldar had escaped with Rita and went to planet earth in an attempt to conquer it and defeat Zordon once more. But by the time he learnt of this news and found some help, he also learnt that his brother had recently perished. Destroyed by the sacrifice of Zordon, rendering all beasts and monsters into nothing but dust.

He couldn't exact revenge on Zordon, it was a shame he was dead. But his power rangers were still alive and active on planet earth. Alongside some new-found allies, the only thing that was in his mind was that he would exact his revenge one day. Destroy those who took part in his brother's demise. Avenge his brother, In a violent, and destructive manner.
