Chapter 26- Omnia revelantur, part iii.
It was now eight power rangers and Ninjor fighting against eleven bad guys. And the bad guys weren't basic soldiers like a putty patroller, they were the toughest, meanest monsters they had ever faced. Six clones who it felt like they were fighting themselves, two elite warriors in Scorpina and Silverback, and then three absolute top tier, premier monsters in Prince Gasket, Princess Archerina and Lokar. This was not looking good.
The five clone rangers had now figured out what the real rangers were doing. They had switched their targets and were confusing the power rangers, appearing to be gaining momentum once again.
Ninjor was being beaten down by Archerina and the extremely powerful Lokar. He was subdued so much, that Archerina left him to Lokar and went after the other rangers instead.
And now it was Jason's turn.
The original red ranger managed to parry a few strikes from his two foes, and even managed to land a strike of his own to Gasket's ugly face, but the red clone was waiting for him, and managed to hit Jason with a spinning roundhouse kick right to the back of Jason's neck. And that's when the two monsters attacked with rage. A rage so strong that every pore of Jason's body felt excruciating pain. Even though he covered up and put out his sword in defence of his body, it wasn't enough to stop the pounding he was taking. Punches, kicks, stabs, slashes. It felt like ages, Jason laid on the ground, his suit now torn in at least four different areas, the visor on his helmet now missing a piece the size of a dollar coin.
The rangers desperately needed help. They were being totally overwhelmed. And just when they thought that it was over, help came, in a big way.
Jason thought he saw a red beam flash before his eyes, but he couldn't tell since his eyes were closed shut, but he opened them when he realised that he had not felt a blow for at least twenty seconds. And what he saw and heard, made his heart jump with joy.
"Hey, heard you needed a hand bro."
Jason took Tommy's outstretched hand and was helped to his feet.
"I'm so fucking glad to see you man!" Jason told Tommy who nodded his head but turned around quickly to help Ninjor fight Lokar.
Jason saw Gasket from the corner of his eye, laid in a crumpled heap against a wall. The clone red ranger on top of him, lifeless, and then Kat in the background, running to help the rangers against the clones, Scorpina and Silverback, the latter was locked in a ferocious battle against the blue Zeo ranger.
"You are going to suffer a painful death, you ugly fucking monkey!" Rocky shouted, slicing at Silverback with his bladed blue Zeo tonfa's.
"You really think you can defeat me blue ranger?" Silverback growled, his silver armour deflecting the strikes from Rocky. "You are no match for me. I have defeated many pests such as yourself, most of them, much more threatening than you." Silverback brought his sword down hard into Rocky's chest, making the blue Zeo ranger stumble backwards.
And with that, Silverback found the opportunity he needed and unleashed a silver whirlwind on the blue Zeo ranger who was completely overwhelmed and in serious danger. But a pair of green axes came chopping at Silverbacks head, as did a pink spinning shield, slicing at his ankles, tripping up the monster and if it wasn't for his armour, it would've ended badly for him. The axes had done a lot of damage to his head, and the helmet was the only thing that was keeping him alive.
Adam and Katherine had joined in to help their friend and fellow Zeo ranger.
"Leave him alone. He's mine!" Rocky shouted, forcing himself back on to his feet.
"Don't be stubborn rocky." Adam replied. Cautiously eyeing Silverback who was flat up against a wall, apparently unconscious. "We have to go but I'll keep an eye on you bro. Finish him now that he's weakened."
"Give me a shout if you need me." Kat shouted, her and Adam running over to help out Billy and Zack who were combating five of the clone rangers.
Kimberly and Trini were locked in a battle with Scorpina who was screaming angrily with each stab of her sword. She was so aggressive, showing exactly what made her such a fearsome warrior.
The yellow and pink rangers were just trying to defend themselves, Trini taking extra care to protect Kimberly, using her daggers as shields, with Kimberly utilising her bow as a shield.
Scorpina wasn't letting up, her strikes coming hard and fast, not allowing the two rangers to start their own offence.
"Kimberly, get a bit of distance, I'll be okay with her." Trini started.
"I'm not running away Trini!" Kimberly responded, managing to deflect a stab of Scorpina's blade.
"I'm not asking you to run away Kim. Get some distance between us and use your arrows! She's too fast, we have to hit her from distance!" Trini responded, dodging out of the way from a dangerous swipe of a pointy sword.
"But..."
Kimberly's momentary confusion, led to Scorpina successfully penetrating the pink ranger's defence, slashing Kim hard with her great large dagger.
Trini screamed and ran over to Kimberly who was laying in a daze on the floor. "You leave her alone! Come fight me." Trini bellowed to a hysterical Scorpina who was laughing like she was crazy.
"Leave her alone. Why? Can the precious pink ranger not defend herself?" Scorpina teased, laughing again.
"I'm more than capable of defending myself!" Kimberly said through gritted teeth, her body lying to her as she felt immense pain and saw her ranger suit smoking like a cigar in certain places.
Trini stood up and faced Scorpina, balling her fists in rage. She acted quickly and attacked Scorpina with unbelievable speed and fury. Scorpina managed to dodge a few blows but couldn't move out of the way for all of them. Trini's power daggers slashed Scorpina's armour-less shoulders, slicing her skin and causing blood to slowly seep out.
But the sight of her blood only made Scorpina angrier, more determined. Poor Trini didn't have a chance when she was bludgeoned with a number of kicks directly to her head, followed up with a good few slashes of Scorpina's dagger.
"Now it's your turn pink ranger!" Scorpina moved away from Trini's unresponsive body and stalked Kimberly who was oh the for ground, a few feet away.
Kimberly summoned up all her will and all of her energy and got back to her feet.
"You think you're so precious, don't you? Having everyone protect you like you are someone important." Scorpina spoke with such hate, that it shocked Kimberly. The Scorpina that was with them just a few hours ago seemed like a different person entirely.
"We could've taken your life you know. It was five against one. But we spared you." Kimberly retorted, readying her bow.
"Be quiet!" Scorpina hissed, glancing over her shoulder at Lokar who was battling with Jason, Tommy and Ninjor. "You will wish that you had finished me off, pink ranger!"
Scorpina didn't wait to attack Kimberly, but Kimberly held her ground very well. Deflecting and parrying a lot of Scorpina's attacks. They were locked in a stalemate, albeit, with Kimberly on the defensive side.
"You're not as bad as I thought, pink ranger. But it will still end badly for you!" Scorpina growled, smashing her huge dagger right into the spine of the power bow, which held up strongly.
"I am more than a match for you Scorpina." Kimberly replied, slicing at the golden monster with her blade blaster.
Scorpina took the damage dealt by the blade blaster and countered with a responding slice of her dagger, catching Kimberly on her shoulder. But Scorpina didn't let up, she followed that with a heavy kick right into Kimberly's solar plexus.
"Noooooo. Kimberly!"
Trini ran as fast as she could and half-caught Kimberly who was on her way to the ground.
Scorpina was puzzled. This wasn't normal. It was only a kick. Why was the yellow ranger acting like Kimberly's life was at stake.
"Kimberly, are you okay?" Trini asked her best friend, intense worry overtaking the anger she felt for Scorpina.
"Yeah, I think so." Kimberly replied, grimacing underneath her helmet and checking her suit for any damage.
"I think you should teleport back you know." Trini suggested, carefully examining Kim's abdomen.
Scorpina took a couple of steps forward, only for Trini to raise her daggers in the air. "You leave her alone!
"What's wrong with her?" Scorpina asked, her curiosity taking over, lowering her daggers slightly and staring at the yellow ranger protecting Kimberly's abdomen. Could it be...
Trini swore she could see a bit of concern in Scorpina mean, beady eyes. "She's sick." She the yellow ranger responded curtly.
"Sick? How? Is she... Is she with child? " Scorpina asked, or rather demanded.
Trini simply nodded her head in response. Still covering Kimberly with her own body.
"I-I didn't know..." Scorpina hesitated, now fully lowering her weapons, glancing back at Jason who was still battling Lokar and Gasket, with Tommy and Ninjor's help.
But she didn't have time to think, because as soon as she turned her head back around, Kat's spinning shield came flying at Scorpina, slicing at every part of over body.
"No!" Trini shouted, begging Kat to cease her attack, and as she watched Kat charge at Scorpina, Kimberly teleported from her arms, back to Billy's lab. A quick look up, Trini watched Jason lower his wrist and continue his battle with Lokar and Gasket.
"Now, it is time for you to finally die. You killed Aisha you bastard! I'm going to take my time with you, take you apart, piece by piece until you're lying in a heap of your own guts!" Rocky screamed with pure venom at Silverback who was laid in a daze on the floor.
The blue Zeo ranger began cutting at Silverback's exposed body parts, but the problem was, most of his body was covered by silver armour.
Rocky knew what had to be done. He used his Zeo tonfa's, which were similar to a police officer's nightstick, but with large, sharp blades on the sides, to peel back Silverback's armour, revealing more and more of his hairy, muscular body.
Silverback could not fight back. He was still in a daze from the earlier attack, and Rocky's subsequent violence.
Rocky managed to expose a bit of Silverback's right arm, parts of his chest and abdomen, and his huge silver helmet was now being dislodged from his ugly head.
"Oh, you're going to suffer, you fucking ape. I'm going to peel the skin off of your hideous body."
And Rocky wasn't lying.
The blue ranger used the blades on his Zeo tonfa's to slice at Silverback's exposed skin.
Rocky had always been a pretty chilled out dude. Rarely did he ever snap or even show signs of immense anger. But this felt like he was possessed by a supernatural entity.
All he could see in his mind was Silverback's giant sword flying towards him and Aisha who thought she had found safety in Rocky's arms.
All he could see was Aisha bleeding out in that megaship. Her precious blood all over the floor. Rocky staring deep into her beautiful, yet vacant, unresponsive and inanimate eyes.
All he could see was the grave that was on an entirely different planet. So far away that he couldn't even go visit her.
These were the things that brought on this anger, this ruthlessness that rocky was exhibiting.
He grinned under his helmet like a madman as he tore off bits of Silverbacks skin, like some weird, perverted form of butchery.
The arms, the chest, the abdomen, they were all bleeding a weird reddish, brown colour. It felt so good tearing away bits of Silverback flesh. But now, Rocky had an almost feral desire to ravage Silverback ugly face. Tear away all of the skin and expose the tissue and bone underneath. But would even going that far satiate Rocky's desire for revenge?
But it wasn't to be. All these sharp, painful cuts and all these surgical incisions had evidently woken up the giant silver monster, for he landed a powerful, haymaker straight to Rocky's head, forcing the blue ranger flat on his back, in a daze.
"You want to talk about revenge?" Silverback growled, using his giant sword to gingerly get back to his feet. "You power rangers are the reasons why my brother, Goldar is no longer alive! Your precious leader, Zordon killed my brother! He is unfortunately no longer alive so I shall collect my pound of flesh from you rangers instead!"
Silverback picked up rocky by his neck and slammed him against a wall just behind them.
"Aisha had nothing to do with Goldar and his death. You killed an innocent woman!" Rocky shouted in retaliation.
"She was still a power ranger. She was still one of Zordon's warriors." Silverback replied, squeezing Rocky's neck.
"No, she-retired!" Rocky managed to squeeze out from the little room in his throat.
"Whatever the case, I am ecstatic that I killed your precious Aisha, and you are next!"
Silverback raised his giant sword and aimed it at Rocky's chest, the tip of the sword aimed directly at the blue Zeo ranger's heart.
Rocky struggled as much as he could, even kicked Silverback between the legs, but to no avail. Either Silverback had nothing there or then it was well protected. Rocky's Zeo weapons were laid on the floor too, and Silverback's grip was way too strong to break.
But thankfully for Rocky, Adam's green axes came in for the save once again, smashing into the giant monster's back.
"Not on my watch, monkey!"
"Why do you humans persist on calling me a monkey. I am a manticore/space ape hybrid!" Silverback replied, steadying himself and facing the green Zeo ranger.
Rocky looked up and watched Billy and Zack easily defeating the weakened clone rangers. He saw Kat and Trini battling with Archerina, and Scorpina and Kimberly nowhere to be seen.
"I guess I have to finish you first then, green ranger!" Silverback growled at Adam.
"You can try." Adam replied, his axes flying back into his hands, ready to attack.
Silverback took the first lunge, but Adam easily dodged out of the way of the giant sword and aimed his axes at Silverback's exposed abdomen, drawing out some blood with a deep slash.
Silverback howled in pain and tried to swat away Adam like a fly. But the green Zeo ranger was too fast, too agile. Silverback was being beaten by raw speed. Adam dodged every kick, punch and stab of a sword and countered with his own attacks from the axes.
So Silverback switched up his attack and lunged for Adam, tackling him down to the floor and putting all of his weight onto the green ranger.
"Stop moving you little pest!" Silverback growled, his weird brown blood dripping onto Adams suit. "I am going to rip your head from your torso."
Adam tried to squirm out but Silverback was just too heavy.
"First, I shall eliminate you, then I will slowly pick apart your blue friend." Silverback wrapped his hands around Adams neck and literally attempted to rip off his head with his bare hands. "This one is for Gold-"
Silverback halted mid sentence, his eyes opened wide with shock. He felt excruciating pain down towards his stomach, so he looked down and noticed something sharp and silver pointing out from his ribcage. His grip on Adam weakened and Silverback began to struggle for breath.
"Look at me you piece of shit!" Rocky said, yanking out Silverback's own sword from his midriff, turning the monster around by his shoulders.
Rocky then unclipped his helmet and stared deep into Silverback's shocked eyes.
"You look into my eyes before you meet your end. Know, that it was ME. Rocky De Santos who put an end to the great Silverback, with his very own weapon."
Rocky gripped the sword tightly and raised it up into the air. He swung horizontally with all his might and watched as the blade sliced through Silverback's bushy mane, Silverback's hideous head rolling down his bloodied torso and onto the floor in front of him. Silverback's headless body falling forwards with defending thud. Thick, reddish-brown blood, spraying out on the floor.
"Jase watch out, your twin is coming at you!" Tommy shouted as he ducked under a punch from Lokar.
Jason looked behind him and saw that Tommy was right. The bluey-grey clone was back on his feet and running at the real red ranger.
No matter how much they beat them down. These clones kept coming.
What could Jason do defeat them once and for all?
Jason lifted up his power sword to deflect a strike from the clone's sword. It was now a sword fight, and the clone used the power sword just like Jason would too.
They were at a stalemate, but luckily, Ninjor managed to find a split second to aim a blue blast at the clone, giving Jason time to take advantage.
He saw from the corner of his eye, Rocky decapitating the giant Silverback.
That had to work. Surely...
Jason raised his power sword and ran towards the unsteady red clone ranger, swinging the sword at the clone's neck. It felt so surreal as he watched the clone's grey coloured head dislodge from the neck. There was no blood, no mess, but an intricate collection of wires sticking out of the clone's neck.
The clone landed on the floor, its head flying a few feet away. Its body writhed for a few seconds before laying completely still.
"Nooo!" Lokar growled, watching his red clone ranger fall to the ground, finally defeated.
"Rangers!" Jason grabbed his communicator and yelled into it. "Take off the clone's heads! I think they're robots or something. But that seems to finish them!"
Jason didn't have time to celebrate because Lokar had freed himself from Ninjor and Tommy and charged directly at Jason.
"Why, you little, troublesome, irritating red cockroach!" Lokar growled, swatting away Jason's sword like it was made of foam and lifting up Jason from the neck.
"Aaargh!" Lokar screamed, he didn't have the chance to do whatever twisted thing he wanted to do to Jason because Ninjor and Tommy had both sent their red and blue weapons, beams, whatever they were directly at Lokar's back, forcing him to let go of Jason.
Lokar fell to one knee and looked up behind him in time to watch Princess Archerina being held back by Kat and Trini, while the rest of the rangers forced off the helmets of the clone rangers and proceeded to take off their heads.
Silverback was also laying headless on the ground, albeit in a much more gruesome fashion, and Scorpina was nowhere to be seen.
The tide of this battle had turned.
"Gasket. It is now or never!" Lokar growled.
Prince Gasket nodded his head and everyone watched as Lokar pulled out a staph from thin air and waved it around in a very peculiar way.
The ground underneath the rangers began to tremble, it was almost like an earthquake.
"Muahahaha. Let's see you try and cope with this, rangers!" Lokar laughed uncontrollably as his body began to swell and grow.
Prince Gasket and Princess Archerina also began to grow. Ninjor and the rangers knew what was going on now.
It took only a matter of seconds for the rangers to look up at giant versions of Lokar, Gasket and Archerina.
"What are we going to do?" Tommy yelled as the rest of the rangers ran up to join them.
"The last battle with the giant Gasket and Archerina really took a toll on me, rangers." Ninjor said, looking up at the giants chuckling away. "I realised I would require some help."
"What did you do?" Tommy asked him.
Ninjor gave the rangers a chuckle of his own. "Well, I re-configured the ninja megazords for you to call upon."
The rangers were absolutely stunned.
"But... How? We lost access to them years ago. Well, at least the ninjazord." Billy asked
"We shall talk about it later my young blue ranger. No need for the ninja power coins anymore. It is time for you to call upon the power of NINJAAAAAA! "
Jason hesitated for a moment, having never had the pleasure to call upon the ninja zords before.
"We just say it together." Billy whispered into Jason's ear.
"We need ninja zord power, NOW!" The mighty Morphin power rangers said collectively.
The zeo rangers chuckled with happiness as they saw their teammates go through the motions to call upon the awesome Ninja zords.
The red ape, black frog, blue wolf and yellow bear ninja zords came out of nowhere, in mere seconds and began defending angel grove from the giant monsters.
"Man, these zords are awesome. They're so fast!" Jason exclaimed, jumping with joy.
"Yeah, but I know what Adam meant by the frog. It's umm, a bit lacklustre." Zack said, watching his zord hop around.
"Trust me, it gets better." Adam told the original black ranger.
"But Ninjor, we won't be able to form the megazord without Kimberly." Billy pointed out.
"Have no fear, for Ninjor is here. Pink crane ninja zord, we require your powers." Ninjor said in a chant, causing the pink crane zord to fly out of nowhere and join the battle. This enabled the power rangers to form the ninja megazord whenever they required it.
"And I need to transform into battle mode, but before I do..." Ninjor turned to look at the zeo rangers. "Do you really believe I would leave you guys out? I have released the zeo megazord from it's holding bay. You may call upon it. Right, I need to join this fight. See you on the battlefield."
And with that, Ninjor was gone in a flash and was replaced by a 100-foot giant version of himself. Leaving the zeo rangers to call upon the powerful Zeo megazords once again.
Lokar, Archerina and Gasket could not believe what they were seeing. They did not expect to face the zords at all! No way! This was not a part of the script.
But thanks to Ninjor, the script was turned on its head and the power rangers were once again, on top.
The ninja zords were absolutely brilliant. Jason, Zack and Trini had never come across megazords as agile and as fast as these before. It was absolutely insane how they were flying all over the place, attacking the three monsters from all angles and protecting each other.
Whereas the zeo zords, as fast and agile as they were, they were more powerful, more traditional zords and it wasn't a good sign for Lokar and Co that the zeo megazords had not even joined the battle as of yet.
"We need to lead them away from Angel Grove!" Jason shouted.
He was right. The zords and the giant monsters were causing a lot of damage to angel Grove and its skyscrapers and buildings.
"Where to?" Tommy questioned.
Jason pondered for a moment. "How about Death Valley? There's nothing but rocks and sand there."
"Okay, but how?" Tommy asked.
Jason answered instantly because he had already thought of this beforehand. "We'll kidnap Archerina and run to Death Valley. I'm sure they'll follow." Jason said with a grin.
The ninja zords and Ninjor covered and protected the zeo zords as they came together and formed the Zeo megazord, it's superior strength easily taking Archerina and flew off into the sky.
Jason was correct. Lokar and Gasket did not hesitate at all and followed the zeo megazord.
The mighty morphin power rangers brought together the Ninja megazord, entered it and followed everyone into Death Valley.
They were a minute or so behind but what they saw when they got there was puzzling indeed.
Archerina, Gasket and Lokar were stood waiting for the ninja megazord, but the weird thing was, the zeo megazord was stood still. Completely immobile.
"What's going on Tommy?" Jason shouted into his communicator, steering the ninja megazord into a safe space, gaining a bit of distance from the monsters.
"I dunno. The controls are jammed. What's happening Ninjor?" Tommy shouted at Ninjor who had just joined them, evidently tired.
"I think I need to lose a few calories." Ninjor panted.
"Ninjor!"
"Sorry rangers, it appears as though Lokar has frozen the zeo megazords. He tried to take control of them but the zeo powers are way too strong for that."
"So, what are we going to do?" Jason quizzed their blue ally, fully aware that the evil trio were walking towards them.
"He has undoubtedly used his exceptional magical powers to perform this neat trick. There must be a way to break the spell." Ninjor said, walking over to stand by the Ninjazord's side.
"I'm already on it rangers."
Alpha's voice rang through their communicators. "The Ninjazords are impenetrable since they were designed by Ninjor himself. So you two go ahead while I try and figure out how to break Lokar's spell."
The rangers and Ninjor didn't need asking twice. For princess Archerina had just unleashed a number of giant arrows right at the megazord and Ninjor.
Thankfully the ninjazord was fast, and thank God that Billy had piloted it before. Billy managed to control the ninjazord to do a swirl like a ballerina and dodge all but one of the arrows.
Ninjor had seemingly disappeared. It was not like Ninjor to run away. But as Gasket and his wife ran towards the ninjazord, Ninjor re-appeared on his flying cloud, slashing away with his katana, sparks flying everywhere from the damage.
The ninjazord joined in, the rangers utilised the lightning quick blue wolf fist to punch Archerina and followed up with the powerful red ape fist to punch Gasket, this megazord definitely packed a punch. The robotic husband-and-wife team fell to the sandy ground of the famous Death Valley.
But they almost forgot about Lokar, who came out of thin air and managed to land heavy blows on both the ninjazord and Ninjor with his sword.
The power rangers tumbled inside the cockpit a bit, holding on to each other for support. Lokar followed up with more attacks, not giving the rangers the time, they needed to steady themselves and defend their zord.
Ninjor finally managed to temporarily halt Lokar's onslaught by shielding the ninjazord with his katana.
The creator of the power coins squared off with Lokar the terrible in a giant sword fight. It was going pretty evenly until Princess Archerina and Prince Gasket got back to their feet to assist their master.
But the rangers acted quickly and steadied the ninjazord, using its quickness to join in the fight once more, but the three versus two was definitely starting to show that numbers really do matter.
"Maybe we should disassemble and gain the number advantage." Jason said.
"No Jason! Disassembling would make the zords more susceptible to Lokar's magic." Ninjor quickly replied, locked in a sword fight with Lokar. "Don't ask me why."
"Jase, we should call upon the white falcon Zord. That will enable us to fly and attack from above. It should give us the advantage!" Billy suggested.
So the power rangers did just that. The white falcon joined the fight and latched on to the back of the ninjazord, giving it the ability to fly. The ninjazord flew into the sky, beyond the reach of Gasket and Archerina and began to rain down punches and speedy kicks to the two remaining members of the machine empire.
But Ninjor was in trouble. Lokar had managed to gain the upper hand and Ninjor was taking a fair amount of damage.
The ninjazord changed its target to Lokar and charged at him at full speed, peppering the evil conqueror with speedy punches. The rangers who were familiar with the ninjazord were shocked, because they had defeated so many enemies with these punches alone. But Lokar was still standing, as were Gasket and Archerina.
"You do not have enough fire power to finish us off, power rangers. We cannot be defeated! Evil shall once again reign supreme. Hahahaha!"
Lokar's loud howls of laughter shook the desert beneath their feet.
He had to be wrong. But it didn't seem so. Prince Gasket, Princess Archerina and Lokar were beginning to turn the tide now and the rangers desperately needed the zeo megazord.
And as if by magic, alpha came up trumps once again.
"Rangers. Remember when shellshock froze the dino megazord and we used the deandra flowers to reverse the spell? Well, I have sent Kimberly to retrieve the flowers from the mountain of hope."
"Awesome." Jason said, remembering the time when Squat and Baboo created the evil Shellshock monster who froze the rangers and their zords. "Just keep an eye on Kim and make sure she's okay." Jason added.
"It's a safe mission Jason. The mountain of hope is stable and full of goodness. Though there's one more thing that needs to be done."
"What is it?" Tommy asked.
"Lokar has attached a physical hex onto the body Zeo megazord. One of you will have pull it off in order for the deandra flower's pollen to take effect." Alpha 7 explained.
"Okay that's cool. Where abouts is it?" Tommy asked, standing up in the cockpit, ready to go retrieve the hex.
"I can see that it is located on the left hip of the Zeo megazord."
Tommy didn't wait around. He used teleportation to land onto the left side of the hip on the megazord and found what we was looking for. It was like a giant sack.
The red zeo ranger attempted to pull off the magical hex bag but to no avail. It was simply too large and heavy.
So he called on Kat and Adam to help give him a hand, leaving Rocky and Tanya in charge of the Zeo megazord in case it began working again. Together the three of them managed to pull off the magical sack and throw it onto the ground where it landed with a bang.
The good thing was, Lokar didn't notice. The bad thing was, Lokar was laser focused on trying his absolute best to destroy the ninjazord and Ninjor. They were both flat on their backs on the sandy floor of Death Valley, taking punishment from three giant monsters.
Task one was complete, all they needed now was for Kimberly to find the deandra flowers and bring some over here.
Ninjor and the ninjazord tried their best to fight back. Though the ninjazord was extremely fast and agile, it lacked the power needed to counter the onslaught of weapon attacks administered by the evil aliens.
"Get off you me, you great ugly buffoon!" Ninjor screamed at Lokar. "My patience is being tested here!" Ninjor now regressed back into his usual form, though still a hundred feet tall.
"Well, why don't you do something about it? Zordon's lackey!" Lokar hissed.
"I am the mighty NINJOOOOR! I am a lackey, to no one!" Ninjor shouted, his anger reaching boiling point. "And get Zordon's great name from out your mouth, evil serpent!"
Ninjor let out a loud scream of anger. The rangers got scared for a moment, because exactly where Ninjor was laid on the ground, was a huge burst of smoke. But when the smoke subsided, Ninjor was still there, not having moved an inch, but his chest rather wheezy from the attempt.
"Did you seriously think that your silly teleportation would work whilst I have you at my mercy? That your powers are a match for me?" Lokar growled arrogantly.
But unbeknownst to them, Kimberly had just teleported into the cockpit of the Zeo megazord.
"Kimberly!" The Zeo rangers shouted in unison.
"Sorry guys. Alpha teleported me to the top of the mountain of hope. But the deandra flowers were at the bottom! But I've got em!" Kimberly said with excitement.
"Thank God. We need to hurry up because they need our help!" Tommy said, pointing at Ninjor and the ninjazord.
"Just hold the flowers over the control panels and shake out the pollen onto them. That will break the spell!" Alpha's voice rang in Tommy's communicator.
The rangers didn't waste any time. Kimberly handed out the flowers to the rangers and they all began sprinkling the pollen from the flowers onto the control panels of the zeo megazord. And within seconds, they regained control of their zord once again.
As Kimberly teleported back to Billy's lab, the Zeo rangers finally rejoined the battle.
"Zeo megazord sabre, now!" Tommy shouted.
The sword materialised into the hands of the Zeo megazord and the rangers wasted little time and went directly after the monsters.
The super speedy and powerful Zeo megazord swiped and slashed at Lokar, Gasket and Archerina who had just realised what was going on. But it was too late. The Zeo sabre did enough damage to send Gasket and Archerina tumbling to the sandy floor and it caused Lokar to stumble and go down onto one knee.
Crucially, this gave Ninjor and the ninjazord enough time to recover and get back to their feet.
"No! This cannot be happening! How did you do this! How!!!"
Lokar wasn't asking any questions, he was totally beside himself, losing his usually calm and menacing demeanour. This was their chance, this was it. It was time to finally put an end to these monsters.
"Zeo megazord sabre.. POWER UP!" Tommy shouted, triggering the sword into its next, devastating gear.
"I've been waiting for this!" Ninjor shouted. "Time to POWERRRRRRR-UP!" Ninjor's eyes lit up in flames of anger and he morphed once again into battle mode.
The ninjazord used the falcon zord to fly up high in the air, ready to descend with its devastating aerial attack.
"Uh oh. It looks as if we are in trouble my dear." Gasket said to his wife.
"Oh, what are we to do my love?" Princess Archerina asked her husband, grabbing hold of his hand.
But they didn't have time to think about it.
Ninjor unleashed a powerful fireball directly at Princess Archerina at the exact time as the ninjazord descended right at Prince Gasket, unleashing a most destructive combination of power punches from the sky.
Lokar didn't have any time to react either, as the Zeo megazord raised its power sabre and unleashed its wrath upon the evil sorcerer.
Each attack hit its target and as soon as they connected, the three monsters combusted right there and then. The blew up in a huge explosion and pieces of them scattered the ground, shortly igniting and turning into nothing but extra sand for Death Valley.
Thank God. It was over. It was finally over!
The rangers and Ninjor cheered and roared with happiness, and Billy's lab erupted with screams of joy.
They heard helicopters above their heads, of news crews getting the latest on the situation. And what a situation it was. The power rangers defeated evil, and brought peace to Angel Grove once again.
Billy's lab.
The rangers had returned back to ranger headquarters and after a little party with their families, they sent them home for some well deserved rest.
Ninjor was also about to part, he needed a good nap for at least a hundred years. But Billy had to ask him one more thing.
"But Ninjor, how on earth did you do it?"
Ninjor turned and looked at the original blue ranger and gave him an all-knowing giggle.
"Well, the Ninjazords are my creation. I just had to re configure them so that they don't require the ninja power coins in order to be called upon. They are yours now, whenever you need them."
"Wow, that's awesome!" Jason said, not trying to hide his huge smile. Kimberly clung onto him even tightly, she knew how much Jason missed the action. The adrenaline, the rush it gave him. The happiness he got from saving the world. It was rather different to how she felt, but she was happy right now at their achievement.
"What about the Zeo zords? I noticed we didn't see the super Zeo zords." Tommy asked Ninjor.
"The super Zeo megazords are some of the most ancient and most powerful zords to have ever existed." Ninjor turned to look at Tommy. "They are still dormant, residing in the hangar in which these new zeo zords, created by Billy and Alpha a few years ago are also kept." Ninjor slowly walked over to the red zeo ranger and placed a hand onto his shoulder." But just like your powers, they are to be used sparingly my dear Tommy. Only use both your powers and your zords in times of great need such as today. I wouldn't even touch the super zeo megazords unless it is absolutely necessary, when your lives are at serious risk."
"I understand. Thank you, Ninjor!" Tommy replied.
"Yeah, we couldn't have done it without you." Jason said, beaming at the creator of the original power coins.
"You do not have to thank me rangers. Evil shall never triumph as long as the power rangers and Ninjor are around." Ninjor responded, moving his gaze towards the original power rangers. "It was my absolute honour to finally meet the original Red, black and yellow rangers. You truly are exceptional warriors."
Ninjor wiped away a tear that wasn't really even there, since he wasn't human, and took a big deep breath. "I am tired now rangers. If I have your permission, I need to retreat back to my temple and take a well deserved sleep. So long power rangers, and may the power protect you, always!"
Everyone waved Ninjor off as he spun on the spot, and vanished in a puff of smoke.
"We'll have to get going too guys. I have an exam to prepare for." Tommy said.
"I'm so glad that we were able to help." Kat said, grabbing Tommy's arm.
"We definitely needed you. Thanks guys. We would've lost without your help." Jason replied.
Tommy smiled at his old friend and placed a hand on his shoulder. "Once a ranger..."
"Always a ranger." Jason finished, the two men embracing tightly as Kat made her way to embrace the rest of the rangers before circling back to Tommy who was also saying his goodbyes.
"We won't be gone for long. We'll see you at the wedding, it'll be easy to get here now, if Alpha doesn't mind." Kat said, winking at the little robot.
"Geez, I think I would turn a blind eye. You definitely deserve it." Alpha replied.
One last smile and wave and Tommy and Kat teleported right out of the lab.
Everyone went to sit down for a while on a spot the could find on the floors, just to relax for a bit before heading home.
But there was one person who had not said a single thing since returning, and that was Rocky.
Adam, always the calm, collected one, walked over to his best friend who was stood in the far corner of the lab.
"Hey, you okay bro?" the green zeo ranger asked him. Adam didn't forget the state of Silverback before he died. He saw the weird coloured blood all over Rocky's ranger suit. He saw the torture inflicted upon Silverback's beastly body. And he saw how easily his best friend had decapitated the monster.
Rocky looked up at the sound of Adam's voice, almost surprised that he was surrounded by a bunch of people. He sighed and nodded his head.
"Are you sure?" Adam asked.
"I think so. I mean..." The blue Zeo ranger bit his lip and frowned a touch. "I thought getting revenge would make me feel better... But.."
Adam didn't interrupt, he waited for Rocky to carry on, and he eventually did.
"The things I did to him. That wasn't me man. Why did I do that to him?"
"Rocky, you just took your anger and frustration out on him. It's understandable bro. I get it." Adam replied.
"Yeah, but that ain't normal man. I just, all I saw was red. There was just one thing I wanted, to tear that fucker from limb to limb." Rocky spoke in almost a whisper.
"I get you bro, and I think you'll feel better if we go back home and order a few pizzas. Put our feet up. What dya think?" Adam asked his best buddy.
Rocky looked up and offered Adam a small, wry smile, and nodded his head.
Every ranger embraced one another and embraced Alpha who was grateful to recieve the love. So grateful in fact, he offered to stay in Billy's lab for a few more weeks, just to make sure there was no more danger.
Alpha even asked the rangers if he should erase the parents memory's. He certainly had the technology to do that.
The rangers decided against it, they knew that it may come with difficulties, but they agreed, if it was causing any problems, they would in fact ask Billy to erase their memories, but for now, they wanted to go with the flow. See how it would turn out.
They all said their goodbyes go one another. Each one of them absolutely exhausted, beaten up, sleepy, hungry, desperate for bed. But they left Billy's lab happy. Knowing that once again, Angel Grove was safe, and they could move on with their lives.
Jason and Kimberly's apartment.
Kimberly slipped off her shoes, and half of her clothes and jumped on to their soft, cloud like bed.
Jason followed suit, landing on his back, right at the side of his fiancé.
"Are you hungry baby?" He asked her.
"Not really. All I want to do is sleep." She replied, sliding her head onto Jason's shoulder.
"Shall we just sleep like this? I can't even be bothered to take off these clothes and get changed."
"To be honest, we need to shower, and probably set our alarms for work tomorrow." Kimberly added.
Jason chuckled and looked at the woman laid next to him. "We ain't even married yet but we sure sound like a couple of old folk."
"I know right. We haven't even made out yet." Kimberly replied with a wink, moving her face closer to Jason's.
"We really should." Jason responded, moving closer to Kim's face, gently caressing her lips with his own.
"You have enough energy?" Kimberly asked him after a nice, deep kiss, glancing down at his crotch.
As Jason nodded his head, they helped each other up and also helped remove each others remaining clothing on their way to the bathroom.
They were finally at peace, finally allowed to have some intimacy without distractions of any kind.
They were so wrapped up in each other, too tired to even focus on anything else, they totally missed a flash of golden, metallic light, whiz past their bathroom window.
Hope you all liked this chapter. There's still a few chapters left in this story. Don't worry, more to come.
