A clone captain wearing armor that was black in color with grey stripes walked into a room holding a helmet to his side with a black visor. "Rise and shine, troopers!" He turned on the lights.
Four clones jolted up from their beds and stood at attention. The clones got dressed in the same color of armor before they all left the barracks. Stopping at a modified black LAAT/s before getting on and taking off into space.
"Our mission is to get in and out with our target..." The captain spoke. "The target is a Twi'lekian female." He held a holoprojector in the air revealing her image.
The inside turned red as they entered the atmosphere of the planet below. Sliding their helmets on they turned toward the walls and grabbed modified DC-15LE blaster rifles.
"Drop us 2 miles away from the town."
"Yes, sir!" The pilot said. A few seconds later the LAAT/s landed on the ground. "Let's go."
The group slowly made their way toward the town. Entering, the townsfolk quickly left the streets and locked their doors. Stopping at the side of a hut, the captain signaled for one of the troopers to go around the back, two to stay on the sides. He walked forward and stopped at the door, nodding the last trooper opened the door.
A Devaronian man stood up grabbing his gun causing the captain to shoot him in the shoulder. "No!" The Twi'lek screamed, jumping off the bed she knelt beside him. "Stop..." She cried as they moved closer. "Please!" She held the Devaronian.
The captain slowly lowered his weapon. "What's going on, sir?" A trooper asked.
"I have no idea..." He looked at the trooper. "We're here to take you back to Ryloth." He looked back at the Twi'lek.
The Twi'lek sniffled as the Devaronian held his wound and laid his head on the Twi'leks legs. "Crohr, bought me so we could get married, that was the only way senator Taa would allow him. We love each other."
"Locket!" The commander said loudly.
"Yes sir?" A trooper with a red visor walked into the hut.
"Fix him up."
"Yes sir." He kneeled down holding a medical bag.
"What do we do, Ghost?" Another asked the captain.
Ghost looked at Crohr. "Will get you to safety."
"Thank you." He groaned as Locket placed a Bacta patch over the wound.
"Thank you." The Twi'lek placed her hand over Lockets. Ghost looked at the Twi'lek and then at Crohr before pressing a button on his gauntlet. "We're finished."
"On my way!"
"I'm sorry to inform you... the Twi'lek was killed in the fire fight." Ghost told senator Taa over the holotable on the flagship.
"I'm sorry to hear that; that's a shame."
"I'm sure it is!"
"Watch your tone, clone!" A Twi'lek said over the holotable.
"Kriffing, Twi'leks!" He mumbled as the holotable shut off.
The crew fell silent and looked at him. "Get back to work." he said softly.
"Watch your language, Ghost." An Admiral said.
"Sorry, Admiral Rarrt."
"We have an incoming transmission." One of the clones said.
"Send it through." Admiral Rarrt said. "General Windu, what can we do for you?"
"I'm here to talk to Ghost."
"General?" Ghost replied.
"We've got some intel, and we need you and your team to get to the planet of Christophsis, before anything happens."
"Yes sir, will get on it." Walking out the door he found his crew laughing as they sat on crates talking to the Devaronian.
"You two are officially dead." He told Crohr who had his arm in a sling. "Thank you, I don't know how to repay you."
"Don't mention it... ever. We have a mission, will drop you off, get supplies and get going. Get ready..."
"Couldn't we go with you guys?" Crohr asked interrupting him.
"It's too dangerous."
"I'm a mercenary..." He lowered his collar revealing a skull tattoo. "I've been in dangerous situations."
Ghost breathed out heavily. "Heal up, than will talk... For now, get some rest in the infirmary. Everyone else get ready."
"Yes sir." The clones said in unison before leaving.
"Crohr!"
"Yes?"
"Do you still work for the separatists?"
Crohr's eyes widened as he looked around. "I-I..." He sighed. "I stopped when I met Ca'li."
"If you're lying, I'll finish the job." He said before walking away.
Crohr walked toward a room, entering he found Ca'li lying in the bed asleep. She yawned and stretched awake when he sat next to her and slowly slid his hand over her lek. "Sorry, I didn't mean to wake you."
"You're a good reason to wake up." She smiled.
He smiled and looked away from her. "What's wrong?" She placed her hand on his cheek.
Leaning in her hand he looked at her. "What if I started doing mercenary work again... for the republic?"
"What if you get hurt?" She slid her hand away.
He shook his head. "It was just a thought, I was talking about it with Ghost, and his crew."
Troopers carried crates into the LAAT/s before it exited out into space and toward the planet below. Ghost looked at a hologram of the buildings below. "Land us right here." He pointed at a roof top.
"Yes sir!"
The LAAT/s landed allowing them to move their equipment onto the roof. "Get out of here." Ghost told the pilot.
"Yes sir!"
"Tymerr, Pryx, set up the traps."
"Yes sir!"
"Locket, get your set up ready."
"Yes sir!"
"Fangs, get the explosives ready."
"Yes sir!"
Ghost opened a crate revealing a DC-15x sniper rifle modified with E-5s sniper rifle components. Grabbing it he looked into the scope and adjusted it to his liking.
"How many kills are you going to get with that, Ghost?" Fangs asked.
"Anything that gets in view of my scope." He pushed the blaster pack into his rifle.
Reaching into the crate he pulled out more equipment and placed it on the ground. "A good wind chill..." He mumbled. Looking up he found the crew looking at him.
"What?"
"Nothing..." Pryx said. "The traps are finished." Tymerr added.
"Oh, thank you... How's the explosives?"
"Everything's ready to go." Fangs said.
"Good... time to get shut eye. I'll take first watch."
The troopers opened the last crate and pulled out four retractable cots. Placing them down, the four troopers rolled out their sleeping bags and quietly went to sleep.
Ghost looked through his scope surveying the area down below. "Area 1, 2, and 3 are good." He mumbled. He froze when he saw movement on the corner of an alley. "What are you?" He zoomed into his scope but chuckled when a tiny creature appeared.
"We... leaving."
"What did you say!" Ghost yelled as blaster fire and missiles exploded all around them.
"Attack..."
"Ah!" Ghost growled in annoyance. "Can't get anything through!" All of sudden blaster fire started firing at them from above. "Fangs!"
Fangs fired an RPS-6 Rocket launcher destroying the top of the building where the attack was coming from. "Kriff!" Ghost shouted.
"What is it?" The four troopers said in unison.
"The Holocrons been shot!"
A loud explosion shook the building from the inside. The troopers looked at each other, pressing a button on their helmets as they slid against the wall. "I think that's all the traps." A droid said. "Shall we investigate?"
"Yes, you'll go first."
"Roger, Roger!" The droids watched as it walked up the stairs toward the roof. "It's all g..." A blaster beam shot it in the head, breaking off it rolled down the stairs.
The droids started firing at the roof, several minutes later they stopped. "You think they're dead?"
"We should go as a team this time."
"Roger, Roger!" The B1 beige color battle droids walked onto the roof. "They must be dead?" One said in confusion. "That makes our life easier!" The B1 battle droid turned around into a blaster pistol aimed at his head.
"Nope." Ghost replied, his armor the color of turquoise, camouflaged into the building panels. Shooting the droid in the head causing the camouflaged crew to fire and kill the remaining droids.
Ghost turned to walk forward when a giant explosion sent him flying down the stairs inside the building along with debris and beige colored machinery. "Oh!" He groaned, holding his head, he slowly stood up, using the railing he limped up the stairs to find his crew lying on the ground. Groaning, he slowly felt there pulses. "Still alive, badly hurt." he told himself. Seeing double with blurry vision he stumbled across the roof feeling for anything that would aid them.
Grabbing a first aid kit he grabbed a tube with a mask on top, placing the mask over his mouth, he pressed a button sending a gas-like substance into his face allowing him to breathe it in. He groaned before falling on the ground unconscious. Several hours later he woke up as a pink bubble slid over him. Being more focused allowed him to analyze the situation. "Fangs, is barely alive. Lost his leg. He lost a lot of blood." He mumbled.
"Tymerr, is alive. Pryx is alive..." He reached Locket and jumped when he gasped awake. "Kriff... Locket!" he said sternly.
"Sorry, sir." He wheezed, taking his helmet off, and throwing it on the floor. "Let me help you." Ghost said sliding him toward the destroyed wall so he could lean against it.
"Are you okay?"
"Feels like I have a concussion, and some broken ribs but that's about it. Do we have water?"
Ghost looked around to find a crate destroyed. "No..."
Locket groaned and looked at the other troopers. "We need..." He tried standing up. "What do you need?" Ghost held him down.
"We need to get Fangs, fixed up."
Ghost looked around, moved debris, and checked inside damaged crates. "Everything is destroyed..." He paused when he saw the medical bag he used on the ground level through a large opening in the floor. "I'm going to be back." He grabbed the only weapon left, an M8 Combat knife.
"We need you alive, Ghost!" Locket said sternly.
"Don't worry..." He slid his helmet over his head. "You said it yourself; Fangs needs our help... I'm the only one who can help, unless you're going to be able to stand in five seconds."
Locket looked toward the ground. "Exactly." Ghost said. Entering the building he scanned the area before cautiously going down the stairs. "Can we have a better job?" Ghost stopped as droids guarded the bottom of the stairs. Turning around, he tried to run when the stairs underneath snapped in half causing him to fall through. "What was that?" The droids turned around. "We should check it out." "Roger, Roger! Roger, Roger!"
Ghost jumped toward one of the droids above him, grabbing it's leg and pulled it down. "Blast him!" The droid screamed.
"You're in the way!"
"I don't care!"
The droid fired causing Ghost to block with his hostage, pushing it on the floor he shot the droid on the stairs. Groaning, he turned around as an AAT turned its barrel at him. "Kriff!" He jumped on the stairs and pulled himself up before jumping back on the roof as an explosion ejected him forward. "Ghost... Ghost!" Locket yelled.
"That hurt..." He groaned. "Why did you make me do that?"
"I didn't..."
"I'm kidding." He said standing up with the medical bag in his hand and threw it at Locket; Locket glared at him. "Help me put a tourniquet on Fangs." He groaned as he stood up. Limping toward him he practically collapsed on the ground when he tried to sit down.
"Take it easy, Locket."
"Lift up his, leg." he said softly, wincing, he leaned in forward and put the tourniquet on. "This won't..." He stopped to catch his breath as he grabbed out a Bacta patch. "It won't be of much use, he needs a Bacta tank, obviously we don't have one." He looked around. Leaning forward he placed the Bacta patch on the end of Fangs upper leg, before wrapping it in medical wrap.
"How's Tymerr, and Pryx?"
"Out cold." Ghost said checking their pulses. "Fangs, was closest to the blast."
"How are you doing?"
"Good..." He vomited.
Locket raised an eyebrow. "You have a concussion, you've been thrown around more than Jabba's slaves, so you probably have a brain bleed, and more injuries that the Bacta tank will have to fix."
"Yeah, well... you guys are going to use them first."
"Gh..."
"That's an order!" he said sternly.
"Yes..." Locket was interrupted when the bubble quickly slid away from the sky. Ghost looked at him before a barrage of explosions surrounded them. Thirty minutes later Ghost waved his hands in the air signaling two LAAT/s to pick them up. "Get my crew first." He told a trooper who came to grab him. "Yes, sir."
With everyone boarded they took off leaving the building to crumble to the ground. Ghost turned toward Locket. "We missed the finale."
"Shut up, Ghost!" He said with his arm over his eyes as he laid on a stretcher. Landing on the flagship the clones carried them out, only Ghost wouldn't allow them to carry him. "Captain Ghost, rest you must." Yoda said.
"General Yoda?" Ghost stopped Yoda from walking away.
"Hmm?" He mumbled with his back towards him.
"What happened to my flagship?"
"Destroyed it was... Sorry I am." He said before walking away.
"Medical station, take us." He walked into the deck.
"Yes, general."
"May I be excused now?" Yosvi asked.
"You may." Shaak Ti replied.
"Thank you."
Ghost walked into the medical bay, walking past a bed surrounded by curtains as he walked to a bunk. Sitting on the bunk he found Yosvi walking toward the curtains and enter, escaping from view.
Yosvi looked at an unconscious Aké under some blankets. She looked toward the ground in sadness as she placed her hand on his shoulder. Feeling tough dense fur surround it as he wrapped his hand around hers caused her to look up at him. "Don't cry on my behalf." he said softly.
She chuckled and hugged him. "Sorry." She apologized and stood up when he groaned.
"I don't mind." He smiled, lifting up his blanket.
Yosvi climbed on the bed and slowly laid beside him with her head on his chest, raising it when he groaned, she slowly lowered it. He gently grabbed her lek and slid his hand down it. "I missed you." she whispered, crossing her legs with his.
"Me too." He yawned. A few seconds later she heard slow rhythmic breaths as he slept. Smiling, she closed her eyes.
Ghost was awakened as an alarm blared through the ship, a gasp caused him to turn his head and find the medical trooper with a sword exiting out of his chest, dropping a commando droid slid the sword out and walked toward Ghost; Ghost tried to move but the commando stopped him, raising the sword it froze in midair, allowing Aké to break the sword out of his hands and stab it through his head causing it to fall on the ground. "Trooper." He looked at him holding the sword. Ghost looked at him before falling back into unconsciousness.
Aké limped out the door and found commando droids and clones attacking each other in gunfights, and hand to hand. He dodged multiple attacks from a commando droid before jumping back, landing the commando droid ran after him, parrying its attacks he sliced it in the chest before stabbing it in the back. The commando droids killed the troopers they were fighting before turning their attention to him.
A commando droid flew into the deck as Yoda, Shaak Ti, and Yosvi fought several IG-100 Mangaguards. A Mangaguard dodged with its staff as Aké jumped on him, jumping off he landed beside the Jedi. "See you, glad we are." Yoda said.
Aké looked at the droids as they started spinning their staffs. "Is this the cyborgs, copycats?"
"If Grievous is injured they send these guys instead." Yosvi said.
Aké slid the sword into his hakama as the droids attacked them, He slowly walked back as one of the Mangaguards spun its staff as it walked toward him. Raising an eyebrow, he grabbed the staff stopping the droid from spinning it, he stepped out of the way as another jabbed at him from behind but ended up stabbing the Mangaguard destroying it. He growled in pain when another struck him in the back sending electricity through his spine. Yosvi slid over the Holotable and kicked the droid in the back knocking it into the wall. Aké snarled and stabbed the electrostaff into the droids back, raising his hand in the air he lifted the other guard off the ground before throwing him toward the window, shattering, the vacuum of space sucked the droids, and dead troopers out as the Jedi held onto something. Seconds later a metal slab slid down covering the broken window.
"That... awesome." Aké stared at Yosvi as she talked before collapsing.
Ghost gained consciousness as a kaminoan pulled a screen connected to the Bacta tank closer toward them as they read. Pressing some buttons the Bacta tank slowly drained as Ghost fell unconscious again.
"I think he's waking up?" Tymerr said.
"Don't do that!" Locket said as Tymerr touched Ghosts face. Waking up Ghost was startled when he found Tymerr close to his face. "Kriff, Tymerr!"
"He's awake!" Tymerr grabbed a bucket from off the floor and poured confetti type stuff all over him. Ghost looked at Locket.
"Don't look at me, it was their idea." He pointed at Tymerr, and Pryx."
"Now they have to clean it up..." Ghost tried sitting up but felt dizzy causing him to hold his head and lay back down. "That's smart!" He winced in pain as a sharp pain went through his head.
"The doctor said you will be out of combat for about six weeks."
"What? Who's going to be in charge."
"We all have six weeks off!" Tymerr said in a sing-song voice and grabbed some confetti before throwing it in the air, grabbing more he threw it on Ghost's face.
Ghost sighed and glared at him. "You're going to be scrubbing every inch of the flag ship, for the next six weeks, you and Pryx are."
"Hey!" Pryx shouted. "I didn't even do anything."
"It was your idea!" Tymerr shouted standing up.
"NO, it wasn't!" He pushed Tymerr.
"Yes, it was!" Tymerr jumped onto Ghost's bed and tackled Pryx on the floor causing them to roll around.
"Stop it!" He immediately regretted shouting as the sharp pain went through his head. He winced and held his head.
"I got this, Captain!" Locket grabbed the two clones, separating them. "Knock it off!" He shouted.
A small knock was heard interrupting them. "Come in." Ghost said softly.
A kaminoan wheeled Fangs in on a wheelchair. "Am I interrupting anything?"
"Fangs, how are you?" Ghost asked.
"Besides the leg, I feel fine... Thanks to you."
"We'll let you two talk." Locket said.
"We wanted to talk to Fangs!" Tymerr and Pryx complained as they were pushed out the door. "Locket!" They shouted as the door closed.
"I heard how you saved us on Christophsis."
Meanwhile in another room... Yosvi was sitting on a chair when she got startled feeling something touch her lek. "Aké." She smiled, holding her hand to her chest. "You scared me."
"Sorry." He smiled slowly rubbing her lek.
"Welcome back, again."
He chuckled and closed his eyes. "I don't even remember anything that happened."
"That's a shame... I remember saving your butt."
"I don't recall that."
"You were crying, "Help me! Help me!"
Aké furrowed his eyebrows. "I-I would remember that."
Yosvi laughed and sat next to him on his bed. "You saved a lot of troopers." She slid her hand on his face.
He placed his hand above hers and leaned in against her hand. "You're still as beautiful and kind as I remember." He slid her hand down to the bed and held it.
"You're always saving people." She smiled placing her hand on top of his.
