Yosvi skipped down the hall of the flagship as she hummed a happy tune, stopping at a door she smiled before knocking.
"Come in."
Yosvi opened the door and smiled even bigger when she found Aké meditating on the floor with his legs crossed, and his hands propped up above his knees. "I felt your presence." He stood up and opened his eyes.
"Did you sense this?" She asked, kissing him.
He smiled and placed his hands on her hips. "I had a feeling." The two kissed a couple more times before Yosvi pushed him away, she poked his chest before laying her hand on it. "We're about to enter Coruscant, so you need to get ready."
"I'm ready right now." He looked around his room.
"Are you nervous?"
He chuckled and nodded his head. "A little... Did you tell the others I'm coming?"
"They're all excited to see you!"
"Commander Yosvi." A trooper stopped in front of the door.
"Yes?" She turned around to face him.
"We're going to be boarding any minute."
"Thank you, trooper."
"You're welcome, Commander."
"Ready?" She smiled as the trooper left.
"No..." He chuckled. "But... Let's get this over with."
"How are you doing, Aké?" Shaak Ti asked.
"Better, thanks."
"Nervous, you are." Yoda said.
"I've never been legally brought back to life before." He chuckled nervously.
"Relax..." Shaak Ti said placing her hand on his shoulder. "This will be over soon."
"Thanks..." He looked toward the ground. "Master Yoda?"
"Hmm!"
"What will happen to the youngling?"
"Sent back to training she will."
The carrier's doors shut before flying off into space... A few minutes later Aké walked into the Jedi temple escorted by temple guards, Shaak Ti, Master Yoda, and Yosvi. "Yosvi, wait out here." Shaak Ti said.
"Yes, Master." She bowed before walking toward the foyer.
"Why are you treating me like a prisoner?" Aké asked.
"Our apologies..." Shaak Ti said. "We're just being careful."
"You think I'm working with the separatists?"
"No..." Yoda said. "You, they must want. Attack Kro Var, why?"
"Watch the door." Shaak Ti said.
The guards stood at attention as they blocked the door. "Stand in the middle..." Shaak Ti said.
"Master Windu." He smiled.
"Good to see you, again." Windu said. "Tell us what happened?"
"Master Ashar and I were going toward Kro Var, when we arrived out of hyperspace we got ambushed. Master Ashar saved my life so I could continue my training."
"A good man, Master Ashar was."
"With what little time I had spent with him, he was."
"You have some unique force abilities... Some of which have been banned to practice." Ki-Adi-mundi said.
Aké tilted his head to the side. "And?!"
"Aké..." Windu leaned back in his chair. "Please be respectful to the council."
"Sorry... I meant to say I don't even know if I want to join the Jedi again, I've found peace with my life."
The council looked at each other. "You're excused, Aké" Windu said.
"Thank you, Master... Master Yoda, would I be able to talk with you after you guys are finished... alone?"
Yoda nodded allowing Aké to walk out. "Is he here?" Whispers came from the foyer... Aké breathed in deeply before walking into the foyer. "Aké!" Jeyde, Xzenn, Zing Krul, and Chia said in unison as they ran for a group hug, Yosvi smiled and stood behind Aké as she got in on the hug. His breathing became calmer when he felt her against him. A few minutes later the hug was broken up when Shaak Ti came to get him.
"I-I've missed you guys." He sniffled with tears in his eyes.
The group smiled and hugged him again. "We've missed you." Zing Krul said.
Aké looked at him in unbelief. "When did that happen?" He smiled.
"Tizowyrm." He pointed toward his ear.
"Aké." Shaak Ti called again.
"Huh..." He turned to face her. "Sorry." He wiped his eyes. Aké followed her into the council room to find Yoda, Mace Windu, and Shaak Ti who was sitting down. "Stand in the middle." Windu said.
"A feeling to talk with you before we do anything further, I had. Sit in the meeting Master Windu and Master Ti will, okay, is it?"
"Yes Master."
"Talk with me you wanted?"
"Yes Master... I wanted to ask you if I could further Vaxis's training?
"You need to be a Jedi in order for that to happen." Windu responded.
"You also need to be a Jedi Knight..." Shaak Ti added. "You need to take the trials."
"Hmm!" Yoda mumbled holding his chin. "Trials he has completed..." Yoda said. "Talk we must, wait outside."
"Yes, Master." He walked toward the door but stopped.
"Something else on your mind there is."
"Yes, Master." He slid his hand into his Hakama and pulled out the Ghostfire crystal. I would like to use this."
The crystal slid out of Aké's fingers and into Windu's. "This crystal has been banned from being used by the Jedi Order."
"With all due respect, so was Vapaad... Master." He looked toward the ground.
Yoda chuckled and looked at Windu. "Decide we will, keep the crystal until then."
"How do I know you will give it back?" He raised his hand in the air only for Yoda to catch the crystal. "Trust us you must."
Aké looked at the three Jedi before walking out. He was lying on the floor beside the Jedi council when a shadow overcame him. Looking up he smiled when he saw Yosvi. "You look busy."
"I'm bored out of my mind." He wiped his face. "How about we go get some lunch."
"I'd like that."
"Awesome!" He jumped to his feet and started walking down the hall when he heard a door slide open. "Aké."
He turned around. "Can you do after?" He asked Yosvi.
"Yeah..." She shook her head. "I'll wait in the foyer."
"Okay..." He nodded before walking into the darkened council room.
Yoda's lightsaber activated causing eleven others to activate. "Step forward, Aké." Yoda held his lightsaber toward the ground as everyone else held there's upward.
Aké kneeled before him causing him to slowly raise his saber upward as everyone else lowered there's in front of them. "Aké, by the right..." He lowered his lightsaber to Aké's shoulder. "Of the council, by the will of the force..." He moved his lightsaber to his other shoulder. "Dub thee I do, Jedi! Knight of the republic!"
Aké gave a slight smile before standing up as all the council members placed their lightsabers in front of them before deactivating, a few seconds later the lights turned on as the council sat in their chairs. "We the council have decided that you can take Vaxis as your Padawan learner." Shaak Ti said.
"We have also decided to allow you to use the crystal." Windu held it in the palm of his hand. "Thank you, Master." Aké bowed before grabbing the crystal with the force.
"Become a General, you will." Yoda said.
"Thank you, all." He bowed again before walking out.
He walked toward the foyer when he heard Yosvi talking to someone. Walking forward he found her talking to an old man dressed in a robe. "Ah!" The man spread his arms out. "I am so happy you are safe..." He hugged him. "Aké, do you remember..."
"I remember you..." He cut him off. "Ready?" He asked Yosvi.
"Yeah, but..."
"Good." He interrupted.
"Will finish this later, Chancelor Palpatine." She waved at him.
"Aké, I would like to talk with you after you're finished." He called out.
"Why don't you like Chancelor Palpatine?"
"I don't like politicians; politicians are more wicked than the Sith. Hiding under our noses."
Yosvi chuckled. "The council would know if a Sith was amongst us."
"Maybe; Maybe not. But let's not talk about this... I just want to spend some time with you." He said walking down the temple stairs.
Vaxis was sitting in the corner of the younglings' lounge watching the others talk as she worked on Golem. "Why don't you want to hang out with the others?" She smiled as she heard the familiar voice. "Aké!" She hugged him. "I missed you."
"I've missed you to." He chuckled. "I got permission from the council to train you."
Her eyes widened as she heard that. "Really!"
He smiled and nodded. "Yeah, but..."
"What?"
Yosvi leaned against a wall as Aké leaned in front of her, she bit her lip as the two talked. "I look ridiculous." Vaxis interrupted, straightening up he found Vaxis wearing white wrappings on her legs and feet, with a white skirt around it. She also wore a white wrapping that covered her breasts. "I thought so to, when my Master gave me mine for the first time."
"You look adorable." Yosvi smiled. "So did he." She whispered.
Aké smiled and looked at her. "We need to leave."
"Where are we going?" Vaxis asked.
"We need to find you a lightsaber crystal."
"Really!" She shouted jumping for joy.
"Will finish this next time." He smiled looking at Yosvi.
"I'd like that..." She slid her hand across his as she walked away.
"Okay..." He clapped his hands together. "We need to meet Yoda at the dock."
"Okay..." She mocked. "Like no one saw that!" She shook her head walking away.
Aké smiled and chuckled before following her toward the Dock. "Master Yoda." Vaxis smiled. "We're ready to go."
"Pick a package up, we do. Okay with that?"
"Whatever you need to do first, Master." Aké said.
"Very wise." Yoda chuckled walking into the transporter. A few minutes later, they stepped off the transporter onto the flagship. "Master Yoda." Aké bowed. "Come on, Vaxis."
"Where are we going?" She asked following him.
"Training." He opened a door leading to a room. "Get in... Sit down." She stared at him before following his orders. "Now, meditate." He said sitting on the bed.
"Really?"
"You will meditate for 12 hours a day."
"Bu..."
He crossed his legs underneath himself and closed his eyes. She growled before crossing her legs and closing her eyes. "Are we done yet?" She sighed with her head propped up on her hands. "It's only been five minutes." he said calmly.
"It feels like it's been a hundred." she said tapping her finger on the floor. " Can I leave?" She asked standing up.
"Sit down."
She glared at him before sitting down. "What did you do when it came to the meditating part of training?"
"I did the bare minimum... I hate meditating!" she said sternly.
"Get used to it..." He sighed. "You're going to be doing this for a while."
"What If I say no?"
"Meditating has given me a lot of patience."
"Will see about that." She smirked.
He opened his eyes and looked at her. "Is that a challenge?"
"I guess it is."
"Well... you can forget it."
"Scared?"
"No..." He shook his head. "Why do Jedi Meditate?"
"Because It's boring?"
"It allows us to clear our minds, control our emotions, and become one with the force... He raised his hand in front of him. "How do you think people found out about different abilities..." A small flame appeared in his hands. "We starve ourselves when we don't." He extinguished the flame. "I want to train you in ways that many people don't know how." He pointed his hand toward a cup sitting on a desk causing the water to rise and slowly make itself to Aké where it hovered over his hand, he waved his other hand over it, and it froze. "Will you allow me this honor?" He leaned forward and gave her the statue.
She gasped and grabbed onto the statue with both hands as she looked at it. "Yes..." She smiled, nodding her head. "When do we start?"
"When you mastered meditation."
Her face turned blank as she looked at him. "Are you Kidding?"
"Yep."
"Really?" She bounced back to life.
"Nope!" He smiled closing his eyes with his arms resting above his Knees.
"No fair!" She whined with her arms folded across her chest.
"You can meditate with your arms folded, but it's easier with them resting on your knees."
She huffed in annoyance and laid her head on her hands as she slouched. An hour later Vaxis groaned loudly as she laid on the floor.
"Obviously...this isn't working." Aké placed his feet on the ground. He walked toward Vaxis and sat down in front of her. "Sit up." He said sitting on his knees.
She did as she was told and sat up with her legs crossed under her. "Now, place your hands above your knees." She placed her hands above her knees. "Close your eyes... Good, feel the molecules around your hands and heat them up."
She opened her eyes as smoke rose above her hand. "Look!" She smiled, she quickly frowned when it distinguished.
"Feel that joy..." He poked her chest. "That's why we need to meditate... We can't do this without the force to guide us."
The door opened as Yoda appeared in the opening. "Master Yoda..." Aké stood up. "How may we be of service?"
"Arrived, our packages have."
Aké nodded before walking out. "Will continue when we get back, for now, continue meditating." He told Vaxis before closing the door.
"Enjoying being a teacher, are you?"
"At first she wouldn't listen; I think I'm going to try something else."
"Never easy, being a teacher is... Trained one way doesn't mean it works on someone else, just because you were." The two stopped at the hangar as a LAAT/s came through the Bay door and landed in front of them.
Ghost and his crew stepped off the LAAT/s. "Nice to see you Ghost, it is."
"Thank you, General."
"Being assigned to Aké, you and your crew are."
"Nice to meet you." He held his hand out in front of him.
"Same..." Aké smiled and shook his hand. "Feeling better?"
"Thanks to you."
Tymerr and Pryx chuckled as they whispered with each other.
"These must be the class clowns."
"Sorry, sir..."
"No, no..." Aké interrupted. "I was known for being a class clown myself, and please call me, Aké."
Yoda chuckled and walked away. "Indeed, he was, Indeed, he was. Come, Come."
"Master Yoda, if it's okay with you, I'm going to get back to my training."
"You may."
"Thank you, Master." He bowed before separating from the group.
"Where are we going?" Vaxis asked.
"We can't continue your training in that room." A door opened causing the lights in a gym to turn on.
"Are we going to train on fire bending?"
"No... when you go into the crystal cave of Ilum, no one can come with you... not me or Master Yoda, I want you to meditate, wait..." He put his hand up as she was about to complain. "I know I said we were going to train, but... You're going to have to use the force to guide you in Ilum, so please, sit."
"Ready you are?" Yoda asked Vaxis as they walked toward the transporter.
"I'm a little nervous."
"Guide you the force will..." He turned to Ghost and his crew as they walked toward them. "Forbidden, where we are going for you, it is. guard the cruiser, you will."
"Yes, sir." Ghost said.
"Good luck, little one."
"Thanks..." she said nervously looking toward the ground.
"Late we will, leave we must." Yoda said.
"Come on..." Aké placed his hand on her back and pushed her into the transporter.
Aké sat on a chair as the transporter took off into space. "Come here." He patted the seat next to him.
Vaxis smiled and sat next to him. "Relax..." He placed his hand on her shoulder. "You can do this."
"I'm glad one of us thinks so."
"You're going to do good." He gave her a side hug.
The trip down to the ice planet stayed pretty quiet as Vaxis leaned on Aké. "It's cold." She shivered stepping out onto the snow.
Aké looked around the carrier, finding a box under the seats he pulled out a dark leather jacket. "I don't think the troopers will mind if you borrow this." He held the jacket in front of him. "Thank you." She slid her arms through the sleeves and zipped it up, looking at her reflection the sleeves were a little baggy, along with it reaching below her thighs.
Aké smiled and gave her a thumbs up. "You look good."
"I feel like I'm swimming in this."
"Would you rather die from hypothermia?"
"No."
"Good, let's go, we need to meet Yoda inside."
"Watch your step..." As soon as Aké said that Vaxis slipped and slid down into the cave.
"Are you okay?" Aké asked.
"Not the way I envisioned this going." She said standing up.
Aké chuckled and helped her stand.
"Okay are you, Hmm?" Yoda asked.
"I'm fine, thank you. Master Yoda."
Yoda turned around and raised his hands... Vaxis watched in amazement as he opened a door above them allowing the sunlight to hit a crystal; spinning the crystal it danced light across the walls before stopping at a smaller one causing it to shoot a beam toward a sheet of ice in front of them melting it. Vaxis stepped back as the water slid over her feet. "Trust in the force, succeed you will." He smiled and pointed his arm toward the cave.
Aké nudged her causing her to start walking. "1 hour you have."
Vaxis looked back at Aké as she entered the cave causing him to hold up his pointer finger, smiling he waved her toward the cave.
She placed her hand on the wall and shook her head. Stepping back Aké walked forward but was stopped by Yoda who placed his cane in beside him. "Help her you must not."
Vaxis lip quivered before she gulped and slowly walked inside, she stopped when she got toward a path with a three-fork road. She was about to walk forward when her legs buckled beneath her. Breathing in she remembered what Aké had taught her. Closing her eyes, she crossed her legs and started meditating.
"Come on guys!" Vaxis jolted when she heard that. "He-Hello?" she asked, looking around she saw a faint silhouette run into the left side.
"Wait up!" Another voice was heard.
Vaxis gulped and ran after the silhouette. "Who are you?" She asked... she stopped when she reached another fork in the road.
Hearing a faint chuckle, she turned to face it. "Psst... Over here!" She looked toward the right side and walked toward it.
"No, over here! Over here! Over here!" Voices echoed all around her.
"Stop it!" She covered her ears and collapsed to the ground.
Back at the entrance Aké looked at Yoda as her scream echoed out. "I need to meditate." He spoke.
"Good choice." Yoda chuckled.
Vaxis heard faint footprints and looked up to find the silhouette walking into the left side, standing up she followed it. "Is any..." She screamed as the floor below broke open causing her to fall through. Her screams stopped as she broke through ice landing in water below. She swam toward the top but found her hands touching ice blocking her. "Help!" She mumbled pounding on the ice. She heard cracking above her as a ten-year-old Zeltron boy looked at her as he smiled.
She stood still and looked him. "No..." She pounded on the ice when he looked toward something and walked away. "Please!" She felt like crying, she tried to cry but nothing came out. Feeling herself running out of oxygen she closed her eyes. "Help me." She cried one last time; she opened her eyes when she heard a faint humming noise, looking down she saw a faint glow on the bottom. She wanted to be scared, but every breath could be her last.
Taking one last gulp she started swimming deeper, the deeper she went the colder it got, she felt her body shaking as it groaned for warmth. Stopping, she found the thing she was looking for, it produced heat; enough to keep her warm. grabbing it she immediately swam upwards, and out of the ice. "I can leave." She smiled.
Looking beside her, she saw the same silhouette running into a tunnel. "This is stupid." She muttered before following it.
Vaxis ran after it and stopped when it stopped at an area that was blocked with debris, the Zeltron was standing above another silhouette who was cowering in fear. She gasped when the Zeltron smiled and turned its head toward her, walking backwards it started following until it ran toward her, she stumbled backwards before catching her footing and ran away screaming. Turning around to look, he was laughing as he ran after her. "You can't escape me!"
Yosvi slid to a stop as she fell down when he appeared in front of her. Laughing he dragged his finger across the wall. "I'm going to get you!" He jumped forward.
She screamed and ran away. "Master!" She cried as the light from the entrance shown around the corner. The silhouette turned around stopping in front of the entrance.
"Aké!" She screamed, running out she slammed into Aké causing him to fall on the floor as she wrapped herself around him as she sobbed. Aké looked at Yoda who was holding his chin in thought. "You're safe." He whispered, placing his hand on the back of her head. "It's going to be okay." He looked into the cave as the ice slowly froze the entrance.
"She's special?" Aké said in the form of a question as he carried the now unconscious Vaxis to the transporter.
"See the past she can." Yoda replied.
Aké looked toward the ground in thought. "How? Why?"
"Important questions, those are. Find out more we should." he said as the two entered the transporter.
Vaxis jolted up as she hyperventilated, she placed her hands over her eyes as she leaned forward resting on her feet.
"Nightmare?"
Vaxis jolted up and found Aké meditating on the bed across from her. "Don't you ever sleep?"
Aké chuckled. "A couple hours a day."
Vaxis gave a half smile before walking into the Refresher, she placed her hands on the sink, looking up she screamed when the Zeltron appeared in the mirror.
"What?!" Aké ran in to find her on the floor, she had tripped and fell when she walked backwards. She trembled and pointed toward the mirror. "I-It's the Zeltron?"
He looked toward the mirror and then at Vaxis, he sighed and sat next to her. "You see visions of the past."
Vaxis slowly nodded her head. "Let me tell you a story." He wrapped his arm around her.
