Vaxis slid her foot on the ground as she slid her hands together and apart with her eyes closed. "Feel the force around you..." Aké walked around her with one arm around his chest with the other one holding his chin. "Control your emotions."

Vaxis straightened up and opened her eyes. "Good, have you been meditating?"

"Yes, Master."

"Really?" He raised an eyebrow.

"No... but, before you say anything..."

"You're going to find another excuse on why you can't meditate... What was the last one? Oh, yeah... the toilet was making a weird noise, which couldn't allow you to meditate."

"It was!"

"I was in the same room as you... It was not making any noise." He sighed walking out of the room.

"Master!" She whined, running after him. "Meditation is so boring..." She skipped sideways as they made their way down the corridor of the flagship. "Come on... please teach me how to bend!"

"How can I, when you refuse to meditate..."

"Please, I promise if you teach me, I'll start meditating."

"That's just it, you need to meditate to bend! Now, get in the room..." He pointed toward their quarters. "And start meditating... if not you're just wasting our time."

"You don't understand, Master."

"I understand you don't like Meditating, but you have to do it in order to train." He said before walking away.

Vaxis looked toward the ground and lazily made herself to their quarters. Opening the door, she slowly walked in and hesitated to sit down... her breathing grew shaky as she sat down, placing her hands on her knees she closed her eyes... she clenched onto her skirt as visions of the Zeltron filled her head, she tried to continue meditating but with no avail. "You can't escape me!" Vaxis opened her eyes breathing heavily as tears filled her eyes.

Aké stood on the deck of the flagship as he flipped through a holopad when the holotable activated. "Ah... Master Yoda, lovely to see you."

"Always a pleasure to talk to you, it is. Vaxis, how is she?"

"Pretty normal, not wanting to meditate as usual."

"As they seem, things may not be. Yes, Hmm."

"Yes..." He nodded. "Thank you, Master Yoda... I'm guessing you did not call to ask how we were doing?"

"Train you on to be an effective General, Skywalker is, tomorrow."

"Thank you, Master..." He bowed. "I'll get ready."

"Patient's with your Padawan, need your help she will to overcome this obstacle." The Holotable turned off leaving Aké to stand in his own thoughts.

The next morning Vaxis slid her foot on the ground as she slid her hands together and apart with her eyes closed. "Feel the force around you..." Aké walked around her with one arm around his chest with the other one holding his chin. "Control your emotions."

Vaxis straightened up and opened her eyes. "Good, how was your meditation yesterday?"

She hesitated before answering. "Good."

He raised an eyebrow. "Anything you want to talk about?"

"Well I..."

"Sir..." Ghost walked into the gym interrupting her. "General Skywalker is waiting for you on the deck."

"Thank you, Ghost... Vaxis, will finish this conversation later, go meditate in our quarters." He said walking out the door.

"I can't..." She ran after him.

"Vaxis?" He sighed, turning around.

"No... you're not listening to me!" She pointed at him. Aké looked around him as troopers stopped doing their assignments and looked toward them. "Can you see that I can't!?"

He tried to speak when he was interrupted. "Every time I close my eyes..." Her lip quivered as she placed her hands over her eyes. "I see the Zeltron!" She yelled in tears before running away.

"I'll find her." Ghost said.

"No, don't..." He placed his hand on his shoulder. "Give her time."

Aké walked into the deck and found Anakin and Ashoka standing in front of the holotable. "What was that about?" Anakin asked, turning around.

"It's complicated..." He said before him, and Anakin hugged. "It's been a long time."

"Yeah, it has..." He slapped Aké on the back. "Ashoka, why don't you and Rex look around the ship."

"Couldn't wait to get us out of your hair, Sky guy? Come on, Rex, Ghost."

Ghost looked at Aké who nodded his head causing him to follow Ashoka and Rex out the door.

Vaxis held her knees close to her chest as she cried sitting on a beam above the gym, she looked up when she heard someone walking toward her. "I thought I'd find you here." Ashoka smiled, sitting in front of Vaxis; Vaxis hugged her. "What happened?" She asked.

Vaxis sniffled and leaned back. "Every time I try to meditate…" She wiped her eyes. "I get this memory of something that happened..." Her voice broke. "Aké doesn't even listen to me when I tell him I can't meditate."

Ashoka sighed and looked at Vaxis. "Let's play a game..." She jumped down. "Ghost, get any of the troopers that aren't doing anything."

Ghost looked at Rex... "I'd do it if I were you, she can be very persistent."

Ashoka folded her arms across her chest... "Come on, Ghost. Unless you're afraid of being beaten by a girl."

"I'm not afraid…" He didn't finish his sentence as he shook his head. "I just don't think this is a good use of our time."

"Time, Slime..." Ashoka said. "Ghost, is afraid of being beaten by a girl..." She said in a sing-song tone. "Ghost, is afraid of being beaten by a girl." She repeated, Vaxis jumped down and joined her.

Ghost growled and walked out of the door... A few minutes later he walked back with a group of troopers including. Tymerr, Pryx, Fangs, Locket, and others.

Ashoka mumbled in thought as she collected some equipment. "I saw some younglings playing this..." She dropped a stick and ball. "Someone throws the ball and the person they throw it to, has to hit it, the first person to let's say..." She placed her hand on her chin in thought. "Ten, wins."

"What happens to the losers?" Pryx asked.

"They lose..." Ashoka said.

"I'll go first..." Tymerr chuckled grabbing the ball. "I can't wait to beat these younglings!" He chuckled.

"Tymerr!" Ghost said sternly.

"Wait, Ghost." Vaxis said. "If I can hit this ball, Tymerr has to wear a dress and sing and dance for us, both him and Pryx."

"What! I didn't even do anything." Pryx argued.

"Agreed..." Tymerr laughed. "What if you lose?"

"Me and Ashoka have to wear a dress and sing and dance..."

"And Rex." Ashoka said.

"Ho, Ho! Keep me out of this, little one." He waved his hands in front of him.

"We get, Ghost..." Tymerr laughed.

"How would you like to clean the toilets with your toothbrushes, and then brush your teeth afterwards?"

"Uh... No thanks. How about Fangs?" He pointed at him.

"Doc said no dancing for a year..." He said patting his leg. "I'll gladly kick you in the nuts."

Tymerr's eyes widened as he shook his head. "Locket?"

"Isn't your check-up coming up?"

"TMI, Locket." Rex said causing everyone to laugh.

"You can't get out of this, now." Ghost said. "You four are locked in the bet."

"Awesome!" Vaxis shouted jumping up. "I'll go first, give me three tries."

"You're going to need a lot more than three." Tymerr smiled and threw the ball, Vaxis swung but missed. "Strike one!" Ashoka said loudly.

Tymerr clutched onto the ball and threw it, fast. Vaxis swung and missed again. "Strike Two!"

"Get your dancing shoes ready!" Tymerr laughed.

Vaxis looked at Ashoka who in response nodded her head. Closing her eyes, she slid her foot forward and hit the ball; the ball whistled through the air before exploding upon impact with the wall. Tymerr's mouth dropped open as he stared at the destroyed ball in disbelief. "Bu..."

Anakin and Aké were inspecting the flagship when they heard the explosion, hearing laughter they walked toward the gym, opening it they saw a crowd of troopers surrounding the area. "What's going on?" Aké asked.

The troopers slid to attention revealing Tymerr and Pryx in dresses on top of their armor. Tymerr wore a white dress with flower petals scattered around it, Pryx wore a plain black dress. "What's going on?" Anakin asked as they walked down toward the middle of the room.

"They lost a bet." Ashoka responded.

"Well... what was the bet, petals?"

Tymerr looked at Pryx and back at Anakin before pointing at himself. "Yes, you."

"If Vaxis hit a ball with a stick Pryx and I had to sing and dance dressed in a dress, if she couldn't then Ashoka and Vaxis would have to."

"That's a shame..."

Ashoka glared at him. "Okay..." Anakin chuckled with his hands in front of himself. "I'd never miss a bet." He pointed toward Tymerr and Pryx.

"I-I didn't even sign up for this... Tymerr volunteered me!" Pryx said.

"Stop whining." Tymerr punched him in the arm.

"Well..." Anakin cleared his throat. "That's fair, if you were the one who made the bet than you should be the one to do it.

"Thank you..." Pryx breathed out heavily.

"Dance, Petals!" Ashoka laughed loudly as Pryx disappeared into the crowd.

"Show us some moves..." Vaxis laughed as both her and Ashoka fell on their backs laughing hard.

Tymerr gulped before he started dancing and singing. "We can't hear you!" The troopers said loudly in unison.

The next morning Vaxis yawned as her holopad's alarm went off... groaning, she checked the time to find it early in the morning. She looked at Ashoka who slept in her quarters as Anakin and Aké slept in another one, hearing slow quiet breathing from Ashoka she sat on the ground with her legs crossed under her and her hands resting on her knees. Closing her eyes, she immediately opened them, breathing heavily. Gulping she breathed in and closed her eyes, clenching her skirt her body tensed up before everything went quiet, she smiled as she remembered Tymerr dancing and singing.

She opened her eyes as her door slid open... "Ready?" Aké whispered.

She nodded and stood up, walking into the gym she stopped when Aké turned around. "Master?" She said in confusion. She gasped when he hugged her. "Sorry." He apologized. "I'm sorry." He hugged her tighter.

"It's okay, Master."

He let go and straightened up. "Let's teach you bending."

"No..." She shook her head. "When you think I'm ready..."

He smiled and placed his hand on her shoulder. "You are!"

"I-I don't understand?"

"One of the biggest obstacles any Jedi has to overcome is learning how to figure out how to meditate through tough times... You did a better job than I ever could."

"What do you mean?"

A piece of Aké's wrapping lifted up a lightsaber from inside his wrappings. Igniting it, Vaxis gasped and stepped back as a red blade cut through the air. "Wha…" She stood in astonishment.

"It's a bled lightsaber crystal."

"You did that?"

Aké nodded. "It was a time when I had much anger and hatred for the Jedi Order for, or I thought at the time, abandoning me on Kro Var."

"You are ready..." He extinguished his lightsaber. "To become a student of Kro Var."

Vaxis chuckled before smiling big. "Thank you..." She hugged him. "Thank you, thank you, Thank you!" She shrieked. Jumping in the air. "I'm going to bend!" She cackled.

"Don't get to excited..." He laughed. "Training to become a bender takes a lot of patience, and practice... You will be meditating for most of the day and rigorous training for the rest, or visa versa."

"Bring it on!"

Vaxis wobbled into her quarters. "I shouldn't have said that." She fell on her bed face first.

Ashoka furrowed her eyebrows. "I'm going training, did you want to join?"

Vaxis groaned and tried to stand up. "How long are you here?"

"Two weeks." Ashoka laid her head on Vaxis's back as her feet dangled above the floor. "You didn't answer my question." She turned her head.

"I need to meditate." She yawned. "I'm so tired though."

"That's okay..." Ashoka jumped to her feet. "Maybe tomorrow." She pressed the door panel.

"I don't know..." She said dozing off to sleep.

"Vaxis?"

"Hmm!" She mumbled, opening her eyes, with blurry vision she saw Aké. "Sorry, Master... I'll meditate."

"It's the morning, Vaxis?"

"Kriff... I forgot to meditate!" She yelled, jumping to her feet.

"Shh!" Aké shushed her as Ashoka groaned and turned in her sleep.

"Come on." He said walking out the door.

"I'm sorry, Master..." She yawned, walking sideways she bumped into a trooper before falling on the floor.

"Vaxis?"

"What!" She jumped up. "I don't think I can do this, Master." She wiped her eyes.

"It's going to take you a couple of weeks to get used to this."

"Ashoka's only going to be here for a couple of weeks!"

"And?"

"She wanted me to train with her."

Aké breathed out and looked at her... "If we start putting this off, it's going to get more and more harder for you to do. Then it will be even harder to get you to do it."

"No, No, No! I promise, please… can I train with Ashoka."

"After your training."

"I'm exhausted after training."

"You agreed to do it, now let's go!" He pointed toward the gym.

"Master!" She whined walking behind him.

Aké turned around causing her to bump into him. "Sorry." She backed up.

"Do you think the droids are going to stop and wait so you and Ashoka can fight together?"

"It would be nice..." She chuckled.

"That nice is going to go through your head." He gently put his finger on her forehead. "When the council starts giving us missions, you're not going to be ready..." He walked toward the gym's door and opened it. "I'm going to be inside if you decide to join me."

Vaxis sighed and let out a frustrated groan. "He's right, you know." Anakin spoke behind her.

"Well... it's not fair."

"Life isn't fair..." He tilted his head and walked past her. "We all learn that the hard way."

"Unfortunately, some people learn that faster than others..." He walked toward the mess hall. "See you around, kid." He said entering it.

Vaxis looked toward the ground and walked into the gym. "Master?" She asked as the gym had no light except for the light from the corridor, the door slid shut causing her to jump, she felt a feeling of dread as she found herself in total darkness. "Training?"

She screamed, holding her chest as she caught her breath. "You scared me, Master! Can we turn on the lights?"

"Nope... the only light you're allowed to have is the light you can make through Pyrokinesis."

"I've taught you how, can you remember?" He interrupted her before she could speak.

She closed her eyes and slid her foot on the ground as she slid her hands together and apart, she opened her eyes as a small flame rested on the palm of her hand. "Again!" Aké said as the flame disappeared.

She sighed and did as she was told... "Again, Again, Again, Again!" He called out each time she did it.

She slid her foot across the floor and lost concentration when a lightsaber activated, she looked up to find a red lightsaber hovering in the air... "Master?"

"The enemy won't give you a chance!" The red lightsaber ran toward her causing her to breathe heavily. "They won't care!" He swung the saber at her, she fell on the floor, and rolled out of the way as he stabbed toward her. "They fight to kill..."

She stumbled back as she dodged an incoming attack, tripping, she fell on the floor and gasped when she backed into a wall. "You're dead!" He pointed the blade at her. "Get up, we're trying again, no complaining!" He said turning off the saber leaving her in total darkness again.

She stood up and gulped her tears away. Sliding her foot on the ground as she slid her hands together and apart creating a small flame. "Good." Aké said calmly.

"Try again."

A few minutes later he ignited the lightsaber. "The enemy only cares about themselves..." He slashed at her. "They will put others in danger!"

Vaxis dodged the attacks, they were a lot slower than before. He must have realized the danger he put her through and slowed down or calmed down. She slid her hands together and apart and created a flame. "Good." He deactivated the lightsaber as the lights turned on... Vaxis blocked the light as her eyes adjusted to it.

"What did you learn?"

"That you shouldn't be trusted with a lightsaber."

"Besides that?"

"You're a crazy person, who really shouldn't be trusted with a lightsaber."

Aké chuckled and put his hand on the back of his neck. "What else?"

"Bending is dangerous, if you don't know how to use it, correctly."

"Yes... that's why we need to train, every day. Now, go back to bed and train with Ashoka."

She smiled and ran out of the gym. "I've never tried that..." Anakin said.

"That's how I trained."

"Do you want to know how I train?"

"Sure..." Aké smiled shrugging his shoulders.

"Stay here." He placed his hand in front of him.

"That hurt..." Aké laughed as he was shot in the back with a stunned version of the blaster bolt. "You're enjoying this, aren't you?" He asked Anakin who had his hand over his mouth.

"A little." He chuckled. "Again, this time sense who is going to shoot and block it."

He looked around as Rex, Ghost, Tymerr, Pryx, Locket, and Fangs stood around him. He blocked an attack and another and another, before long he was blocking multiple attacks as they came, he was soon shot in the back, losing his concentration he was shot multiple times before falling on the ground.

Anakin held his chin in thought... "I think you should stop using your old lightsaber, and use a different one, if you have one?"

"I guess it's a good time to try out my new one." His lightsaber hilt rose above his hand as it was dissembled, the corrupted crystal floated away from its old chamber as the ghostfire crystal took its place. Activating it produced hardly any sound with little to no visibility. "I don't think we're legally allowed to shoot you?" Ghost said in confusion.

"It works!" He looked at Anakin.

"It's supposed to look like that, Ghost. Begin."

Anakin smiled as he sensed Aké doing better, away from his corrupted saber. "That's enough for today." Aké stopped but blocked one last bolt from Tymerr. "Sorry."

"The enemy won't fight fairly..." Aké replied, turning around he walked toward the door.

"Dang it!" Tymerr mumbled.

Vaxis yawned and awoke to find Ashoka still sleeping. "Ashoka..." Vaxis said lying on top of her.

"I'm sleeping." She groaned.

"It's time to train!" She whined.

Ashoka opened one of her eyes and looked at her. "Five more minutes." She placed her pillow over her head.

"Ashoka!" She lifted her lekku in the air. She bobbed her head as she started playing air drums with her lekku.

"Stop…" She whined shooing her hands away. Vaxis smiled and kept her lekku in the air. "You're going to have to make me." She said in a sing-song voice as she danced her Lekku around.

Ashoka jumped toward her causing her to jump off the bed and run out of there quarters. "Hey, get back here!" Ashoka shouted running after her.

"Woah!" Aké said as Vaxis ran around Anakin and him as Ashoka followed her. Ashoka almost grabbed her, but she side-stepped out of the way causing Ashoka to trip and fall on the floor.

"Missed me!" She laughed, running down the corridor.

Ashoka smiled and ran in a different direction. Vaxis smiled and looked behind her. Looking in front of her she rammed into Ashoka knocking them both down, stumbling off of her she ran but tripped when Ashoka grabbed her foot. "I got you." She laughed.

Vaxis wriggled around allowing herself to get free before running into the gym. She jumped toward one of the beams in the ceiling when Ashoka jumped on her as she held onto the edges. "Ashoka!" She shrieked when she lost her grip causing them both to fall on the ground. They looked at each other and laughed. "Sorry..." Vaxis said through laughter.

"Now, we can train." Ashoka let go of her.

Vaxis tried to walk away when Ashoka tackled her to the ground. "Wrestling match!"

Vaxis grabbed Ashoka by the leg and flipped her over as she stood up, jumping on top of her she wrapped her arms and legs around her. "Say uncle."

"Never!" Ashoka tried to get up but with no avail.

"How about now?" She put her in a choke hold. "I'm not going to say it..." She said softly as she ran out of oxygen. She tightened her grip causing Ashoka to tap her arm. "I had you..." Ashoka coughed holding her neck.

"In the wrong position." She laughed, interrupting her. "1-2! Is that all you wanted to train me, or do you want me to kick your butt again?"

Ashoka smiled and grabbed two sparring sticks. "I'll beat you in this." She smiled.

Vaxis fell on the floor. "7-2."

"The Master to the student." Ashoka placed her foot on top of Vaxis's chest.

"The student is going to beat the Master." Vaxis smiled slapping her foot off her and standing up.

"Well... will have to see."

Aké and Anakin were walking down the corridor when they heard cheering in the gym. "Let's hope that's not anymore bets." Anakin said.

Entering the gym, they walked through the crowd until they found Ashoka and Vaxis fighting each other, sweating profusely doing so. Tymerr stood beside a holoboard with tally marks on it. Ashoka had twenty-five points, while Vaxis had eighteen. Vaxis dodged out of the way from an attack and attacked Ashoka from behind. She winced and held her Lek in pain. "Ashoka are you okay?" Vaxis dropped her sticks and walked toward her.

"I'm fine..." She scratched her Lek. "Not the first or the last time it's going to happen."

"That's enough, for today... go back to your assignments." Aké said.

"Are you okay?" Anakin asked checking Ashoka's Lek.

"I'm fine..." She winced when he touched the spot that was tender. "Will just have to put some medical wrap on it for a few days, it should be better than."

"I'm so sorry, Ashoka." She covered her mouth with her hands.

"I'm fine, Vaxis." She hugged her. "I should be thanking you, now I know what I need to work on."

"Everything's a learning experience..." Anakin placed his hands on Ashoka's shoulders. "Come on..." He squeezed them. "We have an early morning tomorrow."

A couple of hours later Aké opened Ashoka's and Vaxis's quarters and looked at them as they slept in the same bed together. Smiling, he closed the door.
