Inside the castle over the edge of the Digital world, within the shining crystal prison that held the holy angel Ophanimon, the dark lord Cherubimon towered over the legendary warriors.

"Cherubimon," The four warriors that once served him said, their voices unsure and anxious.

"So you have returned, despite my warnings," Cherubimon growled, "You are truly foolish,".

"Cherubimon, tis not easy for us to stand against thy," Mercurymon said.

"But sugar, Cherubimon, please listen," Ranamon tried to say.

"I have nothing more to say to you traitors," He growled, trying to hold back his anger.

"You should hear them out my lord," Oryxmon said, "They are still your creations,".

"Silence you fool!" Cherubimon roared as he grabbed Oryxmon by the horns, before shaking him violently.

"Stop it, what are you doing?!" Agunimon said.

"Oryxmon has outlived his usefulness, he is a pawn who unknowingly led you here," Cherubimon answered, "His only purpose now, is to show what shall be done to those who betray and defy me!".

He then tossed the goat to the ground, before zapping him with black lighting, destroying Oryxmon. This left the warriors gasping in horror.

"Oryxmon!" Grumblemon cried in horror, "He, he, gone,".

"H-how could you!" Ranamon cried.

"How novel that you are still shocked by my brutality," Cherubimon said, "I will destroy anyone to collect the spirits or the 10 Legendary Warriors, even you Ophanimon are not immune!".

"Eh, does dat include us?" Arbormon asked.

Cherubimon scowled, "Especially you traitors!".

The hearts of the four stung with sadness. For they knew how vile their creator was and that he was dead serious.

Ophanimon tried to break through the laser cage that held her but was only forced back from escaping.

"So I was a pawn of yours as well?" Lowemon asked.

"You were my most willing puppet, ensuring that my bidding would be carried out thoroughly!" Cherubimon replied, "By using you, I made certain all the spirits would arrive here,".

"You manipulated me!" Lowemon yelled, "You heartless selfish creep!".

"As unaware as you were of my brilliant scheme, you still turned out to be the best subject I ever had,".

"Wait, subject?" Grumblemon asked, "What Cherubimon mean by that?!".

"You saw the pathetic creatures in the lower depths of this castle, didn't you?" Cherubimon explained.

"Hang on a minute, dem shadow creeps from before, yous saying dat?" Arbormon asked, as he slowly realized the truth.

"Precisely, they were Digimon I experimented with," Cherubimon explained, "Unlike you four, I could not give life to the spirit of darkness, so I had to find a host to use it, however, they couldn't fuse with the dark spirit the way Koichi did," he then floated down towards the warriors, "Unfortunately they couldn't stand up to the intensity,".

"How'd you like some of your intensity back?!" Lowemon shouted, as he crossed his arms to and prepared to attack, "Shadow Meteor!" he then fired a laser from his chest lion's mouth.

But the dark lord just blocked it with his hands, laughing at how effortless it was.

"What's going on?" Lowemon asked, "Why is my attack power so weak?".

"It's because there's no darkness," Bokomon explained, "That fact that no shadows exist here, has knocked the power out of your attack,".

"But how can-?" the dark warrior tried to speak.

"Silence!" Cherubimon said, "It is time for me to take back the glorious spirit of darkness I gave you!" he then glared at the others, "As well as the spirits of those traitors!".

The villain then grabbed the warrior of darkness.

"Oh no you won't!" Agunimon shouted, before he and the other human warriors were covered in fractal code.

Both of the spirits of fire glowed as the boy was covered in fractal code. The spirits each gave pieces of themselves as Takuya gained a new form. The fractal code then exploded away, revealing a red armored dragonoid warrior. The dragonborn hero slammed onto the pedestal as he threw a fireball and proclaimed himself as, "Aldamon!".

Both of the spirits of light glowed as the boy was covered in fractal code. The spirits each gave pieces of themselves as Koji gained a new form. The fractal code then exploded away, revealing a new humanoid wolf themed warrior who jumped onto the pedestal before slashing with his double sword and letting loose missiles with his other arm, before proclaiming himself, "BeoWolfmon!".

Both of the spirits of ice glowed as the young boy was covered in fractal code. The spirits each gave pieces of themselves as Tommy gained a new form. The fractal code then exploded away, revealing a giant purple penguin with ice pops? The bird then breathed out a puff of cold air and proclaimed himself as, "Daipenmon," before then opening up to allow the true ice fusion to jump out, "And, Arcticmon!" he said as he whipped out his weapons, with Daipengmon closing and letting out a friendly squawk.

The light fusion then tried to slash the villain, but Cherubimon jumped upwards out of the way, still holding the dark warrior captive.

Aldamon's right arm blaster then flipping forward opened as glowing with heat, before the left one did the same, "Atomic Inferno!" he then began rapid punching out fireballs that flew towards Cherubimon's hand that held Loweemon. But for some reason the attack hit the dark warrior instead.

"He me wanted to do that!" Grumblemon said.

"Sorry Lowemon!" Aldamon apologized.

Unamused by this, Cherubimon then tossed the dark warrior aside, who was then caught by Beetlemon and Kazemon. He then picked up Aldamon and squeezed him hard.

"Ahuhaha!" the fire fusion shouted in pain.

"Takuya!" Kazemon shouted as she flew at the dark Digimon, only to be grabbed by the rabbit's other hand, "Ah, hey!".

"Don't worry, we'll help!" Arcticmon shouted as he and Beowolfmon readied their weapons, "Blizzard Barrage!".

"Cleansing Light!" The light fusion then fired missiles at the dark lord's hand alongside the ice missiles, some of which hit Aldamon and Kazemon by mistake.

"Ack, oops sorry guys!" Arcticmon said, nervously biting down on his popsicle stick.

Cherubimon then tossed aside the fire and wind fusions, before laughing evilly.

"Sorry Takuya, Zoe, trust me I was aiming at him!" Beowolfmon said.

"This isn't going well," Neemon moaned.

"It's the light!" Patamon said as he flew upwards, "Because it's so bright, your attacks got all loopy, they won't work in here!".

"Patamon is right," Ophanimon said, "This light renders your attacks useless,".

The heroes groaned at this. However, an idea soon occurred to the fire fusion.

"You know what, I think it's time we took this outside!" Aldamon said before he and Beowolfmon charged at Cherubimon, forcing him into the wall.

"Argh, you will not-!" the villain tried to say as he struggled against the heroes.

"Oh yes we will!" Beetlemon shouted, before being covered in fractal code.

Both of the spirits of thunder glowed as the chubby boy was covered in fractal code. The spirits each gave pieces of themselves as JP gained a new form. The fractal code then exploded away, allowing six legs to stop the ground as the giant blue and gold beetle sparked with lighting, he then opened his mouth under his two horns of rhino and stag and proclaimed himself, "RhinoKabuterimon!"

RhinoKabuterimon shouted as he flew into the rabbit, forcing him through the crystal wall and outside of the castle.

"Raahhhhhh!" the villain screamed, as he struggled against the Beetle Digimon.

"We'll keep him busy, you guys free Ophanimon!" Aldamon shouted, as he flew towards the battle.

"Got it!" Lowemon replied.

"Hey no problem, right!" Arbormon added.

"Go help them Daipengmon!" Arcticmon commanded.

The large penguin Digimon then leaped through the hole after the others. However, he didn't get too far before gravity caught up, "Wak?" he then looked down, before panicking as he fell, "Wakakakakakakwaaaakkk!".

Meanwhile up ahead,

Cherubimon was then tossed forward by the thunder fusion.

"Waaaahhhh!" he screamed as he crashed into a floating rock. After recovering. Cherubimon got into a battle position as he glared at his opponents.

"Atomic Inferno!" Aldamon then punched fireballs at the villain, forcing him back.

"Cleansing Light!" Beowolfmon then launched missiles at the villain that exploded on contact.

"Thunder Laser!" RhinoKabuterimon then fired a beam of electricity from his horn as he flew through the dark skies, adding into the fray of attacks on the rabbit.

Cherubimon groaned as the flames, smoke eating at his dark skin. But as they cleared, he laughed it off, before charging towards the heroes.

"I've had enough of you insects!" he roared as he punched the fire and light fusions back, "Muahahahahah!".

"The only insect here is this one!" RhinoKabuterimon shouted as he rammed into the villain.

"Ooofm!" Cherubimon groaned, before grappling with the thunder fusion.

Suddenly Daipengmon crashed into the ground nearby, which briefly distracted the fusions and villain, before they quickly resumed the fight.

Meanwhile, back in the castle,

"How can we get Ophanimon out of here?" Ranamon asked, "I mean it's the least we can do for her after all?".

"We need to bend the angle of those bars of light," Bokomon suggested.

"No prob," Arcticmon said, before reaching for the steel warrior.

"Wait what arth thou, gaaahh!" Mercurymon tried to ask, before being picked up by the ice fusion.

Arcticmon then held the mirror Digimon in front of one of the beams. This caused it to reflect and bounce around the room, but instead of getting rid of the cage it only ended up burning Grumblemon from behind.

"Gahhh, put Mercurymon down, no work at all!" he shouted in pain.

The ice fusion then gently placed the mirror Digimon down, "Sorry, I thought that might work?" he apologized.

"I haf never been so humiliated!" Mercurymon grumbled, "How dar'ith thy manhandle me as I war'th a common house trinket!?".

"You must hurry, I fear Cherubimon may return soon for the spirits," Ophanimon pleaded.

"Um about that sugar?" Ranamon nervously asked, "Is Cherubimon really going to try to take our spirits ?".

"I'm afraid so, the evil within him has made Cherubimon ruthless enough to do so," Ophanimon sighed.

"But if he takes our spirits then?" Ranamon said, daring not to finish.

"Tis thy tragic reality we now face m'lady," Mercurymon sighed, "For arth creator has declared the consequences of our betrayal and tis unlikly to show quarter,".

"I can't believe he would do that to you!?" Kazemon said with annoyance and pity for the Digimon.

"He created you guys, shouldn't he care about you?" Arcticmon asked.

"Yeah, he should care, right," Arbormon said, "But in fact he did once care, at least I think he did?".

"Right, I remember, it was back when we were all first created," Ranamon explained, "Back then he really did act like he carried,".

The former evil warriors felt just as down as ever as they reminisced about how benilovlent their creator once was. But as time passed Cherubimon had only grown more evil and vile as his ambition twisted his morality.

"I know you still care for him, and you are not wrong to do so," Ophanimon said, "For even I still care for Cherubimon, as he was once my friend,".

"But what are we going to do then sugar?" Ranamon said.

"Yeah, how this help Legendary Warriors?!" Grumblemon added.

"There may in fact be a bit of good still within him," Ophanimon explained, much to the surprise of the warriors.

"You mean, der's a chance dat?" Arbormon said in disbelief.

"Even if so, I surmise that it be unlikely for him to overcome the evil by his own merit," Mercurymon said, before looking up at the angel, "Am I correct, Lady Ophanimon?".

The angel just sighed, "I wish I could give an answer, but I cannot," Ophanimon said with regret, "All can say is you must remain vigilant and not lose hope,".

The Digimon thought hard about these words. They could tell that Ophanimon felt conflicted as they did, for they all had once shared a bond with the dark lord. However, with how things were, here simply was no easy answer to this.

However, Grumblemon had gotten rather frustrated with this and pulled out his hammer, "Gerrr, why thing all be so hard, Gaahhhh!" he then slammed the hammer onto the crystal wall.

But once the earth warrior did this, one of the light beams that connected to Ophanimon's cage suddenly disappeared.

"The cage, what happened?" Kazemon asked.

"Huh, wait minute," Grumblemon said, as he thought about what happened, "Cage made of light that reflect in room, so if no room too reflect, then no cage for Ophanimon!" he then grinned before smashing more of the room

"Arms bobkins, I believe he's right," Mercurymon said, "Quickly thy fellow warriors, we must shatter the crystal walls that power thy cage!".

"On it, right!" Arbormon then leaped into the air and disconnected his limbs, "Roundhouse Punt!" he then smashed the crystal wall, causing more of the beams to disappear.

"Over there on the other left!" Neemon pointed.

"Gotcha!" Lowemon said as he tossed his lance into the crystal wall, shattering it and disabling another light beam.

"Up top next!" Patamon pointed as he flew by

"Blizzard Barrage!" Arcticmon then fired ice missiles upwards, breaking more of the crystals.

"And now it's my turn to help out!" Kazemon shouted as she went charging into the wall. She attempted to slam into it, but unfortunately the fairy's body wasn't strong enough and just bumped off of it, "Auhh!".

Bokomon and Neamon covered their eyes in embracement.

"Maybe try something a bit harder next time sugar," Ranamon teased.

"Well why don't you try your beast spirit instead, sugar!?" Kazemon argured back, making the water warrior flinch.

"Um, forget what I said, you're doing just fine sugar," Ranamon nervously replied, sounding humbled as she waved her hand.

"Hmph," Kazemon smiled, before being covered in fractal code, "Slide Evolution!" she then became the wind beast, "Zephyrmon!" she then flew upwards and readied her attack, "Let's try this one, Hurricane Gale!" She then threw a huge gust of wind that destroyed a ton of the wall.

"Wonderful, stupendous!" Bokomon and Neamon cheered.

"Don't worry Ophanimon, we're almost done," Patamon encouraged.

"Shouldn't you be helping too?" Arcticmon asked the water warrior.

"Oh, um, well," she stuttered, "I'm not sure I'd be able to do much sugar, not to mention my beast spirit is out of the question sadly,".

"Then perhaps I may assist'ith thy, m'lady?" Mercurymon offered.

"Oh, why how kind of you sugar," Ranamon happily said, before reading her attack, "Dark Vapor!".

"Dark Reflection!" Mercurymon then absorbed the attack into his mirror shields, before letting it loose on the rest of the room. The attack caused parts of the crystals to melt and thus disabling more of the lasers

Back outside,

The battle against the dark lord Digimon raged on.

"Cleansing Light!" Beowolfmon shouted as he unloaded a barrage of missiles at Cherubimon.

The corrupted Digimon tried to block but was still rather hurt by the assault.

Aldamon then went charging in. But Cherubimon dodged upwards and kicked the fire fusion backwards, causing him to get his blaster weapon stuck in a rock.

"Lighting Spear!" Cherubimon then summoned a red bolt of lighting in his hand and attempted to plunge it into Aldamon.

But Beowolfmon went charging in and blocked it. However, the impact knocked the wolf rogue back onto the ground with a thud.

"Hahahaha!" Cherubimon laughed as he clutched the red lighting bolt, before trying to swing it into the fire fusion.

But Aldamon was able to catch it in his other arm claw. The two struggled at each other as their weapons clashed.

"Thunder Laser!" RhinoKabuterimon shouted as he flew by, launching beams at the rabbit.

"Grr," Cherubimon growled at the pain. But despite this, he was able to force the fire fusion back, knocking him down onto Beowolfmon. Cherubimon then hurled the bolt at the two fusions, striking them with harsh pain.

"Gaaahhh!" they groaned, before turning back to human form.

"Guys, no!" RhinoKabuterimon cried.

"Hahahahah," Cherubimon chuckled.

But suddenly a blast of cold air shot at the villain.

"Gerrrr," he groaned, before looking to see the attack was coming from Daipengmon.

Cherubimon quickly retaliated with his dark breath, forcing back the ice breath. The two gust fought hard against each other, but evetually the dark breathe overpowered the penguins and forced the fusion to stop.

Daipengmon shock the pain of before rushing forward and then tried to tackle the villain, soon locking fist,er, flippers with the rabbit's grasp.

However, despite the size of the mecha penguin, Cherubimon was able to overpower the ice fusion and toss him into the sky, colliding into RhinoKabuterimon and forcing the two to crash into the castle.

"Huh, AAAAAAHhhhh!" the beetle screamed, as the penguin crashed into him.

"Now, where was I?" Cherubimon then turned towards the defeated children. He then conjured a purple tractor beam then stole the kids' D-tectors.

"Oh no!" they said in dismay, "Are D-tectors,".

"That's cheating, you can't get away with that!" Takuya cried, "It's not fair, give'em back!".

"Do you really think fairness matters to me?!" The rabbit shouted as he towered over the boys, "All I care about is securing the spirits of the 10 Legendary Warriors at whatever means necessary!" he then gazed upon the devices in his giant hands, "In this hand I now hold the spirits of light, Lobomon and KendoGarurumon, who slew my warrior of darkness, Duskmon and Velgemon," he then looked to his other hand, "And here I now possess the fire spirits, Agunimon and BurningGreymon, who slew my warrior of steel, Mercurymon and Sephirothmon, quite a collection" he chuckled.

The device then vanished from sight, though they were still in the dark Digimon's possession.

"I just need your friend's D-tectors, as well as the spirits of my traitorous followers, to complete my collection" Cherubimon said.

"Even if you have to hurt your own family!?" Koji accused.

"Grrrr, I made it clear how I feel about those traitors," Cherubimon growled, seeming to struggle with his emotions,

"How can you do that when they still care about you!?" Takuya shouted.

"They care?" Cherubimon said, confused at this. But he soon grew angry and frustrated "Grrrrr, they made their choice and so have I," he then roared, "I will claim the spirits for myself no matter what!".

"No, we won't let you do that!" Takuya shouted, fearing for his friends.

"How can you stop me?" Cherubimon gloated, before forcing the boys back with a purple gust of wind from his hands.

The two were sent hurtling towards the edge of the floating rock. Koij was able to stay on, but Takuya had been forced off and was falling to doom. But Koji grabbed his friend's hand just in time to save him, but struggled to hold on.

Cherubimon then took off towards where the others were, laughing as he moved closer to his quarry.

"Hurry, he's left to get the others!" Takuya said, struggling to hold on.

"I know, I'm trying!" Koji groaned, "Our friends are strong,".

"I know that, but I don't want to let them fight Cherubimon alone!" Takuya replied, before realizing something, "Wait, what will happen if he tries to get the spirits of Mercurymon and the others,".

This made the boys flinch at the horrible possibility of what the dark lord would have to do.

"We need to hurry!" Koji cried, struggling harder to pull up Takuya, mocked by the laughing of the corrupted Digimon.

"HahahahahHAHAHAHAHAHAAH!" Cherubimon laughed as he approached his castle.

Meanwhile inside,

The legendary warriors were about to finish freeing Ophanimon, but were interrupted when RhinoKabuterimon and Daipengmon had crashed into the room.

"JP!" Zephyrmon cried with concern.

"What happened?" Arcticmon asked, sounding just as worried as he tried to help the penguin and bug.

"You okay friend?" Grumblemon said, trying to comfort the thunder fusion, "Please speak to Grumblemon!".

"Ugh, Cherubimon," the bug moaned.

But suddenly the large beetle was forced backwards when Cherubimon broke through into the wall.

He then blew a dark purple gale out of his hands, forcing the thunder fusion and the giant penguin to the ground.

"Ahhhh, ow," RhinoKabuterimon screamed as he hit a wall, before struggling to stand.

But Cherubimon then blasted him with dark lighting, painfully de-digivolving him back to JP. The chubby Digi-destined slumped against the wall defeat while Cherubimon levitated the boy's D-tector away.

"Huh, hey!" JP said after waking up.

"At last the spirits of thunder are mine!" Cherubimon said as he held the tiny device in his fingers, "To think, these were what brought an end to my warrior of earth,".

"Jp, are you okay?" Zephyrmon said as she held the boy.

"I'm fine, just make sure Ophanimon gets free," JP moaned, before nearly falling, but he was thankfully caught by Grumblemon.

"But I-?" she tried to say.

"Keep fighting, need to reclaim spirits," the earth warrior said.

"He's right," Lowemon said as he walked up, "I'll distract Cherubimon while you free Ophanimon," he was then covered in fractal code, "Slide Evolution!" he then morphed into, "JagerLowemon!".

"I'll help distract him!" Arcticmon added, as he readied his axe blasters.

The ice beast then leaped at the villain, "Icicle Giri!" he then attempted to cross slash the rabbit.

Cherubimon grabbed the blades, struggling to hold him back. But the ice fusion was struggling too. Sadly, Cherubimon was eventually able to overpower the fusion and tossed him aside onto the large penguin Digimon.

"Ahhh!" he screamed, before crashing onto his other half.

Thankfully this allowed the wind beast to get closer to the points powering the cage. However, Cherubimon soon noticed this and prepared to strike.

But JagerLowemon wasn't going to let that happen and leaped in to attack. He then took aim, activating the gun barrel on the back of his head, "Ebony Blast!" he then fired a dark purple beam at Cherubimon.

However, the villain counterattacked with his dark gust and forced the dark warrior back. The dark beast crashed into the wall next to the ice fusion, he tried to recover but Cherubimon was on the attack. He then spewed out darkness on the ice and dark warriors, de-digivolving them just as he had to the other warriors.

Cherubimon then swiped their D-tectors, leaving the two kids confused at their loss.

"Here I hold Kumamon and Blizzardmon of ice, who aided in ending my wood warriors, Arbormon and Petaldramon," he grinned, "At last you have given me what I needed, I will soon possess all of the legendary spirits," Cherubimon gloated as he looked towards Koichi, "Because of your weakness I have inherited the spirits of darkness, Lowemon and JagerLowemon, though they are hardly anything compared to Duskmon and Velgemon,".

This made Koichi growl, feeling anger to be compared to his once corrupted form. Then again, when he was Duskmon it took the heroes much longer to defeat him and yet here he was easily bested by his former master. Was Cherubimon just that strong or was he weaker than before? He wouldn't have much time to think on this, for the villain still loomed over him and his friends.

"Hang in der guys, right," Arbormon said as he went to help them up.

"One D-tector left," Cherubimon chuckled as he clutched the stolen Digivecies, "My absolute power is close at hand!".

The four former evil warriors were still paralyzed with fear, still unsure how they could face their creator. However, as their friends fell one after another, that feeling was beginning to fade.

Cherubimon then floated over to the wind beast.

"You Zephyrmon, your spirit and Kazemon's spirit of wind, who bested the spirits of water Calmaramon and Ranamon, give them to me!" Cherubimon roared, before attempting to grab the girl Digimon.

"Never!" she shouted.

But Zephyrmon flew upwards to dodge, causing the vile rabbit to ram into the cage of Ophanimon and get shocked. But this barely phased him and Cherubimon quickly turned around and breathed out darkness at the wind beast. Zephyrmon dodged again, but she couldn't keep it up forever.

Back outside,

Koji had finally managed to help Takuya up. However, despite being so far away, they could hear the struggle of their comrades.

"Guys hold on!" Takuya cried.

However, neither of them noticed the faint glitching on the side of the fortress.

Almost, time…..

Back inside,

While attempting to dodge Cherubimon's assault, Zephyrmon had been tossed into Ophanimon's cage and was shocked by it.

"Gaahhhhh!" she screamed, for it had a much greater effect on her than the rabbit, "Uh, uh,".

"Finally, the spirits of the 10 Legendary Warriors are mine!" Cherubimon said as he prepared to strike, "With the addition of your D-tector and the spirits of those traitors, my power will at last be complete!".

"No, watch out Zoe!" Ranamon cried.

"Zephyrmon it's too late," Ophanimon warned, "Save yourself!".

"I won't give up!" the wind beast protested as she floated between the cage and the dark lord, "I will protect you and my friends!".

Cherubimon then swatted aside the wind Digimon, knocking her outside through one of the holes made.

"Ahhhhhh!" she screamed.

"I'll snatch your spirits in a bit dearie," he chuckled.

"Zoe!" Ranamon screamed.

The evil Digimon then turned towards his former warriors.

"As for you traitors," he growled, "Just make this easy for all of us and surrender as I take back your spirits,".

The four starred at their creator. It had become clear at this point how ruthless Cherubimon had become.

"Hahah, maybe if you make this quick, I'll go easy on what's left of your pathetic human friends," he taunted.

Once he said this, something changed in the former villains. For after witnessing their friends bashed and beaten, their hesitation began to fade and in its place was a fierce rage filled determination to fight.

"Dat is it!" Arbormon shouted, "Blockade Seed!" he then shot out a seed that exploded into vines on the dark Digimon.

"Argggh!" Cherubimon growled, attempting to remove the vines, "What, you dare to fight back?!".

"You may be our creator, but no one and I mean no one hurts our friends, right!" Arbormon shouted.

"Him right, no more hesitation!" Grumblemon shouted, as he pulled out his hammer and slammed on the rabbit's foot.

"Ahhh!" he cried.

But the troll wasn't done yet, "Slide Evolution!" he then became, "Gigasmon," he then uppercut the rabbit in the chin.

"Oooff!" Cherubimon cried, before retaliating by punching the giant back, "Now you shall pay for your treachery, Lighting Spear!" he then conjured up a red bolt and tossed it at the earth beast.

But Mercurymon jumped before it could land, "Dark Reflection!" he then absorbed the bolt into his mirror and sent it back at the rabbit.

However, Cherubimon was able to duck, causing the bolt to just fly out of the hole in the wall.

"Thanks friend," Gigasmon said, before turning back to Grumblemon. Which was good because the mirror Digimon began to tremble, "You okay Mercurymon?" the earth warrior asked, trying to help his comrade stand.

"Ggehh, tis a powerful strike," Mercurymon groaned, struggling to stand, "I haf not reflected an attack that mak'ith me tremble before?".

"Then perhaps you should try it again!" Cherubimon roared, as he prepared another attack, "Lighting Spear," he then tossed it at the Digimons.

But Arbormon grabbed the two with his retractable hands and pulled them out of the way, but just barely.

"Dark Vapor!" Ranamon shouted as she attacked.

"Grrr," Cherubimon growled, but was soon able to shake off the pain, "You think that pitiful attack will harm me!".

Ranamon groaned at this. She knew her humanoid form was not enough to hurt the villain. But then as she thought of what would happen to her friends, the water warrior felt something in her. It was an anger of a primal sense, replacing the hesitation and fear. She then felt her beast spirit roaring within, still as out of control as ever. But all of it's rage was focused at Cherubimon and was ready to take out the anger on him for hurting her friend.

"You're going to get it now!" Ranamon said, as she was covered in fractal code, "Slide evolution!" she then became the water beast, "Calmaramon!".

"What are you doing?!" Bokomon cried, "Can you even control her anymore?".

"I don't think so?" Neemon said, as he hid behind his friend.

"Don't need control for this, not after what he did to Zoe!" Calmaramon shreaked, before the humanoid part sank into the squid before it jumped into the air "Titanic Twist!" she then spun around and slammed into Cherubimon.

"Gaaaaahhhhh!" he screamed as the water beast drilled at his skin.

The villain struggled greatly against the spinning cephalopod, being forced back outside. Eventually they crashed onto a floating rock, causing much damage around. However, Cherubimon was eventually able to force back the squid and regain his footing.

"Acid Ink!" Calmaramon then spat ink at the rabbit.

However, Cherubimon just swatted it aside.

But then fractal code exspoaded out of the castle, followed by Gigasmon leaping down and prepared to counter attack, "Quagmire Twister!" he then spun around and tossed a mud tornado at the villain.

Cherubimon attempted to hold this back with his arms but struggled greatly doing so.

While this was happening, Arbormon jumped down and was covered in fractal code, "Slide Evolution"! he then became the large lizard, "Petaldramon!".

Once the wood beast landed on a large floating rock, he then stood up and swung side to side, "Leaf Cyclone!" his petals then rotated like a fan, before blowing out leaf filled with tornados at the rabbit.

"Augh!" Cherubimon roared in pain, taking the brunt of both attacks. He then prepared to retaliate, "Lighting-,"

But then Calmaramon counterattacked, "Acid Ink!" she then spat ink at the villain's face, blinding him.

"Aaaaggghh!" he cried, dropping his bolt.

Petaldramon then took the chance to strike, "Thorn Jab!" he then stabbed his tails into the floating rock Cherubimon was on and grabbed his arms.

The dark Digimon struggled greatly against this, giving the wood beat a good struggle.

Gigasmon then leaped into the air, as fractal code surrounded him, "Slide Evolution!" he then turned back to, "Grumblemon!" he then pulled out his hammer and slammed it into a floating rock, "Seismic Slam!" the rock then went flying towards Cherubimon.

However, Cherubimon was able to dodge before it smashed into him, as well as beginning to shake off the ink and break free of the vines.

But then Mercurymon appeared where the rock was heading, "Dark Reflection!" he then absorbed the rock into his mirror before shooting it out of the other.

The rock then slammed Cherubimon in the back, causing great damage! "Aaaaaggghhh!" he roared as he fell to the ground.

"We actually doing it!" Grumblemon cheered.

"Right!" Petaldramon added.

"Then let's win this sugar!" Calmaramon shouted.

Mercurymon smiled at this turn out. But that smile soon faded when he noticed their corrupted creator gripping the ground and groaning with frustration.

"Enough!" Cherubimon roared as he stood up, shaking the entire world. He then raised his hands to the sky, "Storm of Judgement!".

The darkened skies then erupted with evil energy, sending down dozens of red lighting strikes. Mercurymon was able to slip away, but the other three Digimon were then zapped with the painful attack.

"AAAAAAhhhhhhh!" they screamed in pain, before turning back to their humanoid forms.

Mercurymon then reappeared next to his comrades, "Nay, tis can not be'ith!" he said in horror at

Cherubimon then blasted out a dark breath that knocked the four Digimon back into the castle into a different room.

"Waahhhh!" they screamed as they crashed through the wall into the rubble.

Cherubimon then chuckled as he floated over to the downed warriors. He then looked towards the warriors that once served him, "Now," The evil rabbit Digimon said, as he loomed over the four warriors that once served him, "The time has come for me to reclaim the spirits I gave you and punish you ungrateful fools for your treachory!" Cherubimon said.

The four trembled while they struggled to stand, as their creator loomed over them, his purple body emanating with bloodlust.

"P-please, Cherubimon, you don't have to do this sugar," Ranamon pleaded.

"I'm afraid I must, so that my rule over the Digital world will be eternal," Cherubimon explained, "Now I must end your traitorous existence,".

"Thou shall not harm my comrades!" Mercurymon bravely said as he held up his mirror shields

"Actually, I shall!" Cherubimon shouted, before picking up the steel warrior and slamming him into the ground multiple times.

"Augh, no!" Mercurymon cried in pain, before being tossed aside towards the other three warriors.

"Mercurymon!" they cried.

"F-forgive me, my family," Mercurymon groaned as he tried to stand.

"Now, where was I?" the dark lord chuckled, before summoning a red lighting bolt.

"How could you, I thought you cared about us?" Ranamon cried.

This made the dark lord winch, as if it had struck a cord in his blackened heart.

"Didn't anything we warriors do mean anything to Cherubimon?!" Grumblemon shouted.

"Grrr, I," Cherubimon growled, seeming to be struggling with his choice.

"Listen, we's may be good now, but deep down we still care about yah, right," Arbormon said, trying to reason, "Surely you must feel the same way, you created us and helped us grow up, remember?".

"I, I," Cherubimon stuttered, as memories of the past flooded his mind.

"Please, just stop all this evil sugar," Ranamon pleaded.

"No destroy kids or us please Cherubimon!" Grumblemon said, sounding just as fearful as the others.

"My, c-children," Cherubimon struggled, but his arm was still moving towards attacking.

"I beg'ith thy, find it in thou's heart to spare us m'lord," Mercurymon begged.

Cherubimon closed his eyes, despite the evil that flowed through his code, he still cared for the Digimon he created and cared for. Was it really worth it to slay his loved ones to claim the power of the legendary warriors? He was close to hearing the plea's of his children, but then a voice began to whisper into his ear.

"Do it, you have come too far to turn back now!" The prideful voice whispered, "They are nothing but hindrances in the way of your rule, you are more important, you deserve the spirits more than any of these whelps!"

The words infected Cherubimon like drugs, pushing their way the thoughts of love and mercy. He then gripped his lightning bolt and stared down the wounded warriors.

"You must understand," he struggled to say, "My rule is too important, Lighting Spear!".

He hurled the bolt at the Digimon, their faces filled with horror as it's crimson light filled the room, blind all who would soon be destroyed.

A white flash filled the area. The attack had hit and could not be survived. Was this the end of the four warriors? Had their redemption been for naught?

Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!

Suddenly the dimensions warped and flicked, though they seeming to struggle and glitch more than usual. They then stopped and soon the flash of light faded.

Cherubimon had taken the spirits of earth, wood, water, and steel. But he did not however, claim the lives of their owners.

"Huh, what happen, we supposed to be?" the earth Digimon soon realized that he was different and shorter, "Hm, oh no not Talpidmon again!"

It was true, the four warriors had reverted to they're child forms, stripped of their spirits but still alive at least.

"What happened?" the voice of Lamnimon asked, sounding sacred, before gasping, "uh, oh no,".

"Huh, Ranamon, you become Lamn-" the mole tried to say.

"Don't say a thing!" the shark girl shouted, "Oh I can't believe I'm like this again!?".

"Thou sha'th be more thankfully we arth alive, m'lady" Reflectmon stated, "Though, I am unsure how we arth still breathing with the removal of thy spirits?".

"Wait, were Arbormon?" Talpidmon asked.

The three then looked over to where the wood warrior had been to see a small wooden centaur that resembled the robot, looking rather confused at its appearance.

"Hey any of yous knows why my lower half is suddenly a horse, right?" he asked, still having the wood warrior's accent.

The others breathed a sigh of relief.

"Him okay, just become Tromon," Talpidmon said.

"Oh so dat's what happened, weird," Tromon said, flicking his tail as he tried to adjust to his new body, "Well can't say dis is dah worst thing to happen ta me, right

However, the now child Digimon were soon noticed by Cherubimon.

"Hm, they survived?" he thought, feeling a tiny bit of joy at this outcome.

"Do not let them live, for they will still fight you," the prideful voice whispered, "You must not allow any to go unpunished for standing in your way!".

"But, my children?" Cherubimon thought back.

"You think they'll care for you after this? The voice said, "You can't stop now, you must keep going for the sake of your rule!".

Cherubimon groaned at this, trying to resist the voice. But the temptation had overtaken him and he prepared to strike down the depowered Digimon.

"It must be done," he growled, "Lightning-,"

"Fusion evolution!" a female voice shouted, followed by the sound of fractal code.

"Hm?" Cherubimon whinced.

Suddenly a blast of wind hit the dark Digimon, causing him to drop the lighting bolt.

"Gah!?" he shouted, "What?!".

Cherubimon then looked back to see the wind fusion JetSilphymon coming right at him at super sonic speed. Before the villain could react, the fusion soared past him and grabbed the four child Digimon. She then flew away back to where Ophanimon was.

"Noooo!" Cherubimon roared, before giving chase.

Back in the crystal room,

JetSilphymon had just gotten the now child Digimon to safety.

"Phew, that was close," she said with relief, "You guys okay and, what happened to you?".

"What you think happen!?" Talpidmon answered in annoyance.

"Cherubimon stole our spirits sugar," Lamnimon explained, "So now we're stuck like this again,".

"Wait, what yous mean again?" Tromon asked, "This is my first time and I got to say, not sure hows to feels about this, yah understand?".

"None the less, we have failed in our endeavor against lord Cherubimon," Reflectmon explained, "As of now, the only spirits he has not claimed be'ith the spirits of wind that thou poses,".

"Me?!" the wind fusion said in shock.

Suddenly Cherubimon burst into the room, roaring in anger as he entered.

"Give me your spirits now!" he shouted, as he attempted to grab the jet-clad Digimon.

JetSilphymon then dodged out of the way and quickly retaliated, "Jet Binter!" she then blasted the villain with air shots.

"Come on Zoe!" Tommy cried from the sidelines.

"You can do it Z!" JP added.

The villain lunged again at the wind fuison, but the super sonic Digimon was too fast and dodged once more. Cherubimon groaned a little a bit at this but was hardly phased. He figured he would be unable to hit the fusion due to her speed. But then he noticed the defeated JP, Koichi, and Tommy, which gave him a ghastly grin.

"You may be faster, but your friends aren't!" Cherubimon growled before conjuring a red lighting bolt, "Lighting Spear!" he then aimed it at the human boys.

"Huh, gah!?" they groaned in fear.

Cherubimon chuckled at this, until the four Digimon children stepped in the way he flinched.

"You no hurt friends!" Talpidmon shouted, to which the others nodded.

"Grrr," the rabbit groaned, "Please, just submit!".

"No, don't do it!" JetSilphymon screamed as she flew towards them.

However, this took her attention away from the villain and allowed Cherubimon to strike.

"Hah!" he shouted as he tossed the bolt, which then struck the wind fusion around the back.

"Gaaaaaahhhhhh!" she screamed as the evil electricity fried her.

"Zoe no!" the others screamed.

Thankfully, it wasn't quite enough to defeat the wind fusion. But the attack had still damaged her greatly, her jet engines smoking with flames as she barely hovered in front of Ophanimon's cage.

"I'm, sorry," she cried in pain.

"Hahah, now you're mine, Lighting Spear!" Cherubimon summoned another red bolt and then tossed the spear at the wind Digimon.

However, Ophanimon had finally had enough of this and forced her way out of the weaken laser cage. Then right before the attack hit, she bumped JetSilphymon out of the way and took the hit.

"Grrrrr!" the angel groaned as feathers fell from her wings, but she was still alive.

JetSilphymon However, crashed into the wall and turned back to Zoe after hitting the floor.

"Ophanimon no!" she cried, unable to stand.

"Enough Cherubimon!" the angel shouted, "I can not allow you to have your way!".

"Ophanimon, why would you sacrifice yourself?!" Cherubimon asked, shocked at what had happened, before floating closer to the angel women "You and Seraphimon both willing to be destroyed for peace!?".

"You really have no idea, do you?" Ophanimon replied, "But how could you, you who think of Digimon as nothing more than pawns, even trying to destroy your own children?" she then looked mad, "You're heartless!"

"Though endearing, your words are nothing more than foolish sentiment," Cherubimon said as darkness emanated off of him, "Hahahahahah,".

Dark lighting then crackled as it destroyed the remaining crystal walls. The power was so great that it caused Takuya and Koji, who were trying to climb back up the castle, to fall onto the ground.

"Oh man what's going on in there?" Koji asked.

The room was now filled with darkness as the two celestial Digimon stared at each other.

"What has happened to you?" Ophanimon asked, "There was a time when you agreed with my foolish sentiment, your heart was full of compassion for the creatures of this world,".

"Compassionate, me?" Cherubimon asked, sounding unsure.

"Cherubimon, how could you have forgotten?" Ophanimon asked, "How hard you worked to help the beast type Digimon, and raising your children that grew into mighty warriors,".

"You lie," Cherubimon scowled, floating closer towards his counterpart.

"I pity you, to see how easily goodness can be corrupted by evil," she said.

This angered the dark Digimon, he then blasted darkness out of his mouth, knocking back the female angel.

"Ah," she yelped, before summoning an angelic lance sword and a shield with an alicorn on it, "Eden's Javelin!" she then fired a colorful beam of light from her lance into Cherubimon's mouth.

"Aggghhhh!" he groaned in pain.

Then the darkness that surrounded him began to glow into light. Ophanimon then moved out of her battle stance, while Cherubimon covered his face. Then to everyone else's surprise, the evil Digimon's colors began to change, the dark purples replaced by a pinkish white, holy rings appeared around his long ears, and his aura of evil started vanishing.

"What's that?" Neemon asked.

"That's what the real Cherubimon looks like," Patamon explained from atop Bokomon's head.

"It, it really is him," Lamnimon said awestruck, "I haven't seen him that way since the beginning,".

"Has thy shadows been purged?" Reflectmon wondered out loud.

The now brightened Digimon groaned in fear, unsure how to feel about what was happening. But as he struggled, the brightness soon faded, and he reverted to his dark evil form.

"No, him still bad!" Talpidmon sighed.

But then Ophanimon struck the rabbit again with another beam of light. But this time the villain blocked with his arms.

"Why do you always stand against me?" Cherubimon yelled, "Why do you bear me this hatred?".

"My heart weeps for what you have become," Ophanimon sighed, "You have lost the ability to love or care for anyone, but yourself,".

"It's your fault!" Cherubimon protested as he clutched his fist, "You and Seraphimon made me what I am, the two of you pushed me away!".

"I can save you if you let me," Ophanimon offered, tossing aside her weapons and opening her arms, "With the powers I govern, of life and of love, I can save," she then floated over to the rabbit.

"You, would do that?" Cherubimon asked with hesitance.

Though a voice in his head warned him not to. Curiosity took hold of the rabbit as he approached his former friend, the darkness disappearing. Hopeful that the angel was correct, Cherubimon kneeled before her and let Ophanimon touch his head.

"Guys what's happening?" Tommy asked.

"I's don't know, but I think she might?" Tromon said.

"Hm, tis seem'ith to easy to be'ith true I fear," Reflectmon said, "But maybe,".

The corrupted Digimon then emitted with life as his bright colors returned, his face smiling with peacefulness. However, the prideful voice from before began nagging at him.

"You can not turn over that easily," it said, "You've committed too many sins, it's too late for you to stop your conquest now!"

Ophanimon also sensed this voice and stuttered. She didn't understand what this was, but she could feel it overtaking the goodness she had implanted. So she did the only thing she could do.

"Forgive me," the angel whispered with regret, before floating back.

However, as Ophanimon began to leave, the darkness then returned along with the aura of evil. Then as Cherubimon became aware of this, he realized something was missing.

"Ah, what have you done?!" He cried in shock, he then looked at Ophanimon and realized he had been tricked and robbed, "The D-tectors, you stole my spirits!".

"Here!" Ophanimon then tossed the devices back towards the humans.

Once the kids caught them, Cherubimon then glared at them and tried to lunge at them. But Ophanimon got in the way and tried to hold him back.

"Quick, you must escape!" she pleaded.

"But what about you sugar!?" Lamnimon asked with concern.

"Please go, you're this world's only hope!" the angel pleaded, as the growling villain tried to break through.

"But Ophanimon!?" Zoe said.

"House of Cards!" Reflectmon said as he snapped his fingers, summoning mirror portals, "We must heed the divine one's words and flee!".

"Him right, time to go!" Talpidmon said.

"But what about-," Tommy tried to say.

"Now, right!" Tromon shouted as he grabbed the boy and galloped into the mirror.

Before the others could protest further, the other mirrors moved in and teleported the children and Digimon away from the crystal room.

"No, Raaaahhhhhh!" Cherubimon screamed as darkness sparked from his body.

Meanwhile outside,

Takuya and Koji had ended up on one of the floating rocks outside the castle, having been forced back by the shockwaves of evil emanating from the tower.

But before they could fully react, mirror portals appeared around them and out came the other Digi-destined, as well as their Digimon friends, some of which were a bit smaller than before.

"What in the world happened in there?" Takuya asked with concern.

"I'm not sure," Zoe said, sounding worried, "Ohpanimon stole back the D-tectors before tying to hold back Cherubimon!". She then gave the D-tectors she was holding back to Takuya and Koji.

The two then noticed the small digimon.

"Then, what happened to you guys?" Koji asked.

"What think happen, Cherubimon steal spirits!" Talpidmon complained, "Me already explain this!".

"Yep, now we's stuck like this, right," Tromon explained, "Oh bys the way, incase yous don't know, I'm now Tromon and dah others are Talpidmon, Lamnimon, and Reflectmon, yah understand?"

"Wait, so is this Ranamon's child form?" Takuya asked, "Wow it sure looks,"

"Shut your mouth!" Lamnimon shouted, "I don't need to be reminded how ugly I look right now!".

"Wha, I wasn't going to say?" Takuya tried to reply, before being pulled aside by Zoe.

"She's kind of sensitive about being Lamnimon," she explained.

"At least you're all still alive," Koichi said, trying to help.

"True, though I fear'ith what is to befall us legendary warriors next," Reflectmon said, "For I find it most unlikely Ophanimon will be able to fend of our dark creator for much longer?".

"Don't say that kind of thing," JP moaned.

Speaking of which,

"How could you do this to me!?" Cherubimon yelled from inside the tower.

"You left me no choice!" Ophanimon said, "I tried to save you, but,".

"But nothing!" Cherubimon roared, his voice filled with anger "You have deceived me the last time you witch!".

The power coming off of him forced Ophanimon back, sending her crashing through a stalactite. She was able to recover,

"He's too strong, I have no choice" she moaned, "Sefirot Crystal!".

The angel then summoned small crystals, kind of like Seraphimon's strike of the seven stars, and shot them at Cherubimon. But the villain retaliated with his dark evil breath. The attacks collided in the center, the power of their collision was too great and exploded into a rainbow colored blast, blowing up the prison and the two angels in it.

Meanwhile

Outside the heroes grabbed the ground tightly, trying to avoid being forced away by the explosion.

"What the heck is happening!" Lamnimon cried.

"Just hold on!" Zoe cried.

"Right!" Tromon added.

Cherubimon was then sent flying out of the now destroyed prison.

"AAAAAhhhhh!" he screamed, before crashing into a floating rock, shattering it as he fell to part of the broken land, "Aaahhh, oophmph, raaaaahh,".

The dark lord now hung from the dark purple rock, barely conscious after the blast.

"Cherubimon's done, he's beaten!" JP cheered.

"You sure JP?" Talpidmon asked.

"I wouldn't count on that," Koichi said, filling the others with dread.

However, it soon occurred to them that if Cherubimon was there, then what happened to the other angelic Digimon?

"But what happened to Ophanimon?" Takuya asked as he looked towards the broken tower.

"His power was too strong," A familiar, yet weak, voice from the D-tector said.

Takuya then looked at the device, seeing the symbol that appeared whenever Ophanimon contacted them.

"The evil surrounding Cherubimon was much stronger than I had anticipated," she explained, her voice growing weaker, "I had hoped to purify him but, alas, I failed,".

"Where are you?" Takuya asked with concern, fearing the worst.

"Thank you for journeying so far and enduring so much," Ophanimon spoke, as the others listened, "I am grateful to all of you for the courage you have displayed,".

However, the kids soon noticed that the corrupted rabbit Digimon had begun to move, the dark aura growing stronger by the moment.

"I thought Cherubimon was done for!?" JP said.

"As strong as Ophanimon is, even she couldn't stand up to him," Koichi stated, "And if she couldn't beat him, then how are we supposed to?".

"Don't say that!" Lamnimon flailed, her tail vibrating anxiously.

"Still, what are we's going to do, right?" Tromon added, holding onto Tommy as he hugged his front leg.

"Children, don't give up," Ophanimon said, catching their attention, "You must gather your spirits together as one,".

"How do we do that?" Koji asked, holding his D-tector lik Takuya

Suddenly the two D-tectors began to emit a light.

"What's going on?" Takuya asked.

"I have no idea?" Koji replied.

"Just before I fell, with the last of my strength, I evolved your two D-tectors," Ophanimon explained, the last of her strength leaving her voice, "I'm sorry, I can't do,…..".

The two D-tectors then changed, gaining a gold ring around the screen.

"Ophanimon changed our D-tectors," Takuya said.

"They're evolved!" Koji added.

"Well, all of ours still look the same," JP complained.

But then the small Digimon on Bokomon's head noticed something.

"Hey look at that!" Patamon said, flying and pointing at the wreckage of the castle.

The heroes then looked to see something floating away that made their hearts drop.

"A digi egg?" Tommy said.

"Ophanimon," Takuya sighed.

"It appears the a tragedy has befallen us," Reflectmon spoke, Lamnimon holding his arm for comfort, "For the great angel Ophanimon, has fallen at the hands of lord Cherubimon,".

The heroes were silent as they mourned the loss of the great angel. While they had not gotten to know her that well, she was still a beacon that had guided the children to this world. As for the Digimon it still saddened them, for the angel had tried to give them hope and had even tried to save their corrupted creator.

"She may be gone, but we still need to fight!" Koji said.

"Yeah we still have D-tectors and spirits after all, right?" Tommy said.

"Right," Tromon replied.

"Wait a minute, then what happened to our spirits?!" Lamnimon asked, still rather worried.

"I think they ended up in our D-tectors when Ophanimon stole them," Zoe said, while looking through her device, "Yeah, your spirits are both here Lamnimon,".

"Oh thank goodness," Lamnimon said, "Now why don't you just give it right back to little ol' me and I can get out of these scales,".

"Hmm, may not be'ith the best choice methinks," Reflectmon pondered, startiliny the water child "For even with our spirits we were unable to stand against lord Cherubimon,".

Lamnimon just sighed at this, her tail drooping for she knew he was right.

"So what we do then?" Talpidmon asked, "Friends all of many spirits, so how use to save day?".

The kids then remembered what Ophanimon had told them.

"We know what we have to do," Zoe said.

"Yeah, gather all of our spirits together as one," Tommy said.

"Oh, what that mean?" Talpidmon asked.

"Erm, you know I'm not really sure?" JP said awkwardly.

"Hmm, gather all dah spirits?" Tromon pondered, before remembering someone else who had said that "Hangs on, I think I mights got it!".

"Really, what is it then, um what did you say your name was again?" Takuya said, not remembering the name of the wood Digimon's current form.

"Tromon, anyways when dat dino Digimon Plesiomon attacked me, he was mentioning some'in about stopping the spirits from creating something," the centaur explained, "Some susa something or rather?".

"Okay, but how does that help us here?" Koji asked.

"Listen, maybe what he was trying to stops is what cans defeat Cherubimon, yah understand?" Tromon said.

"Hmm, tis a just a theory, but it may have something to do with thy new D-tectors?" Reflectmon added.

"So maybe if we put all the spirits into the D-tectors, maybe a miracle will happen?" Koichi suggested.

"Wait, but what does that mean for us sugar?" Lamnimon asked, very concerned.

"Yeah, what about spirits that belong to us?" Talpidmon added.

"I think we's are going to's let dem borrow ours spirits, right?" Tromon pointed out.

"What!?" the earth and water kids shouted in shock.

"B-but without our spirits," Lamnimon struggled to say.

"We no able help fight!" Talpidmon said, notably madder than the girl Digimon.

"I guess that's the same for us," Tommy said sadly, "But I don't think there's any other way,".

"But, but!" Lamni stuttered, close to crying.

Koji and Takuya then bent down to the two Digimon, "Please Lamnimon, without all the spirits, we won't be able to stop Cherubimon," Koji said, trying to be gentle

"Me know that, but still no like!" Talpidmon huffed with crossed arms.

"Look, I know how much you spirits mean to all of you, but right now we need to work together if we want to save the digital world," Takuya explained, "Besides after we save to the day or it doesn't work, you can have them back,".

"You, mean it Takuya?" Talpidmon said.

"Hey sounds like a good deal to me, right," Tromon spoke.

"For'th now, I believe we must share our powers to the ones Ophanimon chose to empower with her dying breath," Reflectmon stated, "Tis may not be optimal for us, but tis a choice I shall willing commit to,".

Everyone was silent as they thought about this. Though they did not notice something flickering under the floating ground.

Talpidmon then sighed, "Okay, me no like one bit, but me will give spirit to help,".

"Me to sugar," Lamnimon added, "Though you better take good care of it!".

"Hey it's like I always say, sharing is caring, right," Tromon said.

"From our digital core, we offer our precious spirits to fight our madden creator," Reflectmon said dramatically.

"Thank you, everyone," Takuya and Koji said as they nodded.

The kids then exchanged their spirits into the D-tectors of Takuya and Koji.

But unknown to the heroes, something was watching them in the shadows.

Come on, just a bit more.

The shadow then flicked with a glitchy static.

Ger, no, not yet. I must complete, the final phase.

He then flickered again, seeming to struggle to keep his form as he breathed heavily.

However, not too far away,

Laying on a floating rock not too far away, Cherubimon shook with anger.

"How, how could she do this to me?!" he growled, "I thought, I thought,".

"That's where you went wrong, you dared to trust her," The prideful voice said, "She stood in your way, you who deserve to rule, you were foolish to listen to that witch,".

"Grrrr, Ophanimon!" Cherubimon growled, his eyes tearing up with betrayal.

"But don't worry, she's gone now and all that remains is those worthless warriors," The voice said, sounding more tempting than ever, "Your destiny is at hand, strike them down and none will ever oppose you, lord Cherubimon,".

"Yes, they will die," Cherubimon growled, his voice filled with anger and malice, "I will rule no matter what, blaarrrrrr!" he then breathed out a purple laser to propel himself up.

Neemon nearly screamed at this, but was shushed by Bokomon, while Patamon sat on his head.

Cherubimon then turned towards the children, covered in his evil aura. Black lightning crackled as he floated in the dark sky, before he prepared to lunge at his foes.

"We have all of the Legendary Spirits on our side," Takuya shouted.

"We will fight Cherubimon with the power of the spirits!" Koji shouted.

They children then raised their D-tectors into the air, shouting their respective spirits as lights shined out of the screen.

The two humans then began their new evolution.

Now time to fix this once and for, aagghhh! Wha, no, no! Errorr. Error .

Geh, gah, no!?'/'.;[.!%$# ^^/;;.'.'.. energy, too, Nooooooooooooooooooooooo! Gaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhh!

The dimension then flickered a bit, but not enough for anyone to notice. Despite this, the evolution continued.

The Humanoid spirit of fire glowed, before ascending alongside it's beast spirit as well as the respective spirits of ice, wind, earth, and wood. The spirits then aligned into a hexagon, with the spirits of earth and wind in the center forming a square.

Takuya then swiped his hand, covered in a massive amount of fractal code across it as fire flared in the background, "Unity execute!" Takuya shouted. The spirits then arose around him as the fractal code transformed him, "Unified spirit evolution!".

The boy then fell through the fractal code, the crashed onto his body like flames, forming into armor of a red dragon knight. The Digimon then landed on a pedestal as it slashed its sword, leaving flames in it's wake as it shouted its name.

"EmperorGreymon!"

The Humanoid spirit of light glowed, before ascending alongside it's beast spirit as well as the respective spirits of thunder, darkness, water, and steel. The spirits then aligned into a hexagon, with the spirits of water and steel in the center forming a square.

Koji then swiped his hand, covered in a massive amount of fractal code across it as light shined in the background, "Unity execute!" Koji shouted. The spirits then arose around him as the fractal code transformed him, "Unified spirit evolution!".

The boy then fell through the fractal code, then crashed onto his body like light, forming into armor of a slim jet clad wolf. The Digimon then landed on a pedestal as it launched missiles from it's as it posed before shouting its name.

"MagnaGarurumon!"

The two transcendent Digimon then floated in the air, their forms surprising their friends at their power.

EmperorGreymon was a large humanoid Digimon, covered in red and yellow dragon-like armor with many dragon heads through, with an orange armored head slightly like Agunimon and he carried a large sword on his back.

MagnaGarurumon was similar to his fiery counterpart but was slimmer with blue armor that had a jet around the chest with wings on the back, with a small blue metal wolf head coming out the top. On his right arm was a long blaster and on his other arm was a smaller, but just as powerful gatling gun.

The others were left in awe at the new Digimon. However, the dark lord Cherubimon was unphased by them and charged forward, shouting with anger.

"You ready for this?!" MagnaGarurumon asked.

"Are you kidding?" EmperorGreymon replied confidently, "I was born ready!"

Narrator Rika: Oh yeah this is going to be a rumble to remember. So don't miss the next Digimon Frontier!

Hm? Oh yeah, Purification Redemption! Now if you excuse me….. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHGGGGGGHHHHH!

HOW COULD I have messed up the most important change!? NOOOOOOOOO!

Okay, okay, I can fix this, maybe? I know, once they've dealt with mr frosty walkner, I WILL CORRECT THIS MISTAKE!

Hopefully besides that, you were all able to enjoy the chapter. I've really struggled with these recent chapters, but hopefully I'll have an easier time with the next ones?

Sorry I'm a bit late with this chapter, I didn't realize the Friday I uploaded was going to be the first day of next month? I still wanted to get a chapter out so I hope this will do? Energy has been rather hard to get, but since things are finally cooling down I've felt a lot more motivated to create. So hopefully it won't be too long until I get the next chapter done. But I can't promise how soon it will be since a lots happening in October, like Metroid Dread and Super Robot Wars 30.

Non the less, I will get to work on the next chapter soon so I can correct the last mistake this show committed. Geh, still need more energy, maybe some shout outs should help?

Special thanks to D.J. Scales, Drawman98, Lei LeiDigital Cyber sleuth, DragonBladeB5 and some Guest, for your wonderful reviews.

Also DragonBladeb5, thanks for taking my Digimon's advice on the reviews. So to answer your questions, yeah I'm trying to make a video game. It doesn't have a name yet, but's it's going be like on of those classic spaceship games, except you get to play as the big boss spaceship.

As for Star- geh, wait a minute!? Wrong story, he's in the other one I'm working. As NFL, sorry me and my Digimon aren't really sports fans, so I don't have an answer.

One more reviewer I'd like to thank is the guest pointed out the inner conflict Cherubimon was having, as well as understanding Quality over quantity. That review really means a lot so thanks for being so understanding.

Speaking of understanding, sorry again about the screw up at the end of the chapter. I swear I will correct things soon! So please hanging in there until then.

Thank you all again for sticking with this story so long, it really means a lot to me :)

Any case, remember that reviews lead to sooner chapters and better stories. Until next time

Choa! :)
