The 10 legendary warriors stood tall as they looked up at what remained of the flying fortress. After all the battles, the adventures, and the new friends, it was finally time to face the corrupted Digimon Cherubimon.
"It's finally time," Takuya said stoically, "You all ready?".
"You know it!" Koji replied.
"It may be scary, but I know we can do it!" Tommy said, trying to sound brave.
"Cherubimon may be strong, but our friendship is stronger!" Zoe proudly proclaimed.
"We're the 10 legendary warriors!" JP cheered, "It's our destiny to save the world and beat that creep!".
"Cherubimon's evil ends today!" Koichi said, "He won't hurt or corrupt anyone anymore!".
"Grumblemon and Digimon friends may have started bad, but we now heroes ready to fight for good and help friends!" Grumblemon said as he pounded his fist.
"We's gots a lot to make up for right," Arbormon said sternly, "But it's like I always say, the past is behind us, and tomorrow is worth fighting for, yah understand!".
"Right sugar!" Ranamon said, "After all, there's so many Digimon in the world counting on us, so I just couldn't bear to let them down!".
"We haf been given a second chance by thy one from beyond," Mercurymon said dramatically, "So let us enter this final battle with honor and valor my fellow Legendary warriors, for the sake of thy digital world!".
It was an amazing sight, all ten of the legendary warriors standing together. Each beamed with heroic energy, as if it was always meant to be.
"Just look at all of them!" Bokomon beamed, "All of them have grown so much since we began our journey oh so long ago,".
"They're so cool!" Patamon added.
Hehehe, truly the finest fruits of my labor *glitch*..
"You really should rest more, uhm whatever your name was?" Bokomon said.
"What did he do again?" Neemon stupidly asked.
Ugh…. Never mind… *glitch*.. after all. The stories about them…. Not me.. heheh.
With their heroic world spoken, the kids readied their D-tector's while the four Digimon warriors were covered in fractal code.

The Humanoid spirit of fire glowed, before ascending alongside its beast spirit as well as the respective spirits of ice, wind, earth, and wood. The spirits then aligned into a hexagon, with the spirits of earth and wind in the center forming a square.
Takuya then swiped his hand, covered in a massive amount of fractal code across it as fire flared in the background, "Unity execute!" Takuya shouted. The spirits then arose around him as the fractal code transformed him, "Unified spirit evolution!".
The boy then fell through the fractal code, the crashed onto his body like flames, forming into armor of a red dragon knight. The Digimon then landed on a pedestal as it slashed its sword, leaving flames in it's wake as it shouted its name.
"EmperorGreymon!"
The Humanoid spirit of light glowed, before ascending alongside it's beast spirit as well as the respective spirits of thunder, darkness, water, and steel. The spirits then aligned into a hexagon, with the spirits of water and steel in the center forming a square.
Koji then swiped his hand, covered in a massive amount of fractal code across it as light shined in the background, "Unity execute!" Koji shouted. The spirits then arose around him as the fractal code transformed him, "Unified spirit evolution!".
The boy then fell through the fractal code, the spirits crashed onto his body like light, forming into armor of a slim jet clad wolf. The Digimon then landed on a pedestal as it launched missiles from it's as it posed before shouting its name.
"MagnaGarurumon!"
Both of the spirits of thunder glowed as the chubby boy was covered in fractal code. The spirits each gave pieces of themselves as JP gained a new form. The fractal code then exploded away, allowing six legs to stop the ground as the giant blue and gold beetle sparked with lighting, he then opened his mouth under his two horns of rhino and stag and proclaimed himself, "RhinoKabuterimon!"
Both of the spirits of ice glowed as the young boy was covered in fractal code. The spirits each gave pices of themselves as Tommy gained a new form. The fractal code then exploded away, revealing a giant purple penguin with ice pops? The bird then breathed out a puff of cold air and proclaimed himself as, "Daipenmon," before then opening up to allow the true ice fusion to jump out, "And, Arcticmon!" he said as he whipped out his weapons, with Daipengmon closing and letting out a friendly squawk.
Both of the spirits of wind glowed as the girl was covered in fractal code. The spirits each gave pieces of themselves as Zoe gained a new form. The fractal code then exploded away, revealing a blue haired humanoid girl with jet like armor that covered most of her body. The fusion then descended onto the pedestal with the thrusters on her pack active, she then grabbed her weapon, a large blue pinwheel and proclaimed herself "JetSilphymon!".
"Execute, beast spirit evolution!" the once evil warriors shouted.
The beast spirit of earth roared as the evolution began. Grumblemon's muscles became as hard as ground as they began to grow to giant sizes as his armor broke away as the earth giant formed. He then landed on the ground, shattering it, as he got up and punched his fist together, for he was now, "Gigasmon!".
The beast spirit of wood roared, as Arbormon appeared in the digivolution zone. The robot then turned black as his eyes glowed and the armor of bushy trees, red leaf main and feet, and a twin root tail appeared and slowly pressed onto the robot. The wood armor then exploded as the forest covered reptile emerged.
The large lizard then landed onto the pedestal, before
standing on his hind legs and roaring, "Petaldramon!".
The beast spirit of water roared as the evolution began. Ranamon's skin turned white, while messy purple hair grew, before a squid emerged from below and grabbed the water warrior with all its tentacles like a mouth. The tentacles then fell down dead, revealing the squid armored sea hag.
"Calmaramon!" she screeched.
The beast spirit of steel roared as the evolution began. Mecurymon appeared and soon the screen zoomed on to his lips. He then smiled as his face seamlessly became that of a green ball with giant lips. The screen then zoomed out to reveal the contourted bundle of blobs that soon straightened out and proclaimed itself,
"Sephirothmon!".
The beast spirit of darkness roared as the evolution began. Koichi was then covered in shadows as the jet black armored lion formed. His eyes soon glowed as the darkness faded and the beast proclaimed themselves
"JagerLoweemon!".

The heroes then took off flying to the fortress, with the ones who couldn't fly riding on either RhinoKabuterimon or Sephirothmon.
However, Daipengmon was unable to follow since he was so big and heavy, a fact he soon noticed.
"Wak, wak?" he squawked as he frantically looked around, "Wak wak, wak wak!?" the penguin frantically squawked as he tried to fly, but just couldn't lift himself.
"Hm, it seems Daipengmon can't join them?" Bokomon observed.
"That's too bad," Neemon added.
"Poor birdy," Patamon sighed.
Oh for crying out loud! *snap*
The dimension then flicked for a bit, and when they stopped Daipengmon suddenly had parts from IceDevimon. Including the wings, belt and horns, as well as his limbs bearing more resemblance to the cold walkner.

While this confused the ice fusion a bit, he soon held his arm wings up in the air and just went with it, "Wak?" He then slowly ascended upward, with his huge white demon wings flapping as they struggled to lift the penguin.
"Well, I guess that will work?" Bokomon said, unsure how to feal.
"He's even more fused now!" Patamon cheered.
"I thought it was a Xros?" Neemon stupidly said.
Meanwhile up ahead,
The heroic Digimon soared higher into the dark night sky, moving closer to the corrupted angel Digimon that had broken so much of the world.
As they approached the fortress with courage in their hearts, the dark lord slowly floated towards them.
"Cherubimon!" EmperorGreymon shouted, "Your reign ends here and now!".
The villain remained silent as he floated motionlessly.
"He's not saying anything?" Arcticmon said under his breath.
"Hello, anyone still home?" Gigasmon asked mockingly.
"You have done well to come this far legendary warriors," Cherubimon spoke, his deep voice even more menacing than before, "But it is time for a new rule, my rule, and you will not be a part of it!".
"We're not going anywhere sugar!" Calmarmon shouted.
"The only one leaving will be you!" JetSilphymon added.
"I will not be stopped!" Cherubimon roared, as a darkness covered him, "I am too important to let this world be ruled by any other!".
Then from in the darkness, the red symbol of pride glowed.
"With my almighty power, your existence will end, and all your data will be-," The darkness then vanished as Cherubimon burst out, "Mine!".
The villain looked mostly the same, but his skin seemed to be darker and running throughout his body were red lines of light that connected to the symbol of pride on his forehead.
Cherubimon, Envoy of Pride
"Wha, what?" Gigasmon gasped.
"Ch-cherubimon?" Calmaramon said with horror.
"What happened to him, right!?" Petaldramon asked with shock.
"This power?" Sephirothmon gasped, seeming to vaguely recognize what Cherubimon had, "It can't, be!?"
"I have become more powerful than any of you insects could ever imagine," Cherubimon explained, sounding almost soulless "I alone shall rule this world, for none can rival me in my absolute power!".
"Yeah, well there's still ten of us and one of you!" EmperorGreymon proclaimed.
"Oh, I hardly see that as a problem," Cherubimon chuckled, before a darkness began to come from him, "For you see, I am all I need to destroy you fools,".
The darkness then separated into four groups that began to form into the shape of giant rabbits. Then in a matter of moments the darkness became four new Cherubimons, just as evil looking as the original, though lacking the prideful lines.
"He cloned himself?!" MagnaGarurumon gasped.
"Just like before when I fought him!" JagerLowemon added.
"Yes, but this time we," the Cherubimons said, before a brief chuckle, "Or more so, I will easily send you to your digital graves, hahahahahah!".
As they laughed, the original assented into the darkness, arrogantly watching as his clones fight for him.
"Oh come on, one was bad enough!" RhinoKabuterimon complained.
The clones laughed as they prepared to strike, "Lighting Spear!" they shouted as they threw red bolts at the heroes.
They quickly dodge, though it was really close.
"And I thought the first one was tough!" EmperorGreymon moaned, "But we won't back down, no matter how many there are!".
"You bet, you don't scare us anymore Cherubimon!" MagnaGarurumon added triumphantly, which angered the clones.
"Rah, then I shall divide and conquer!" the clones roared, as two of them talked the Fire and Light Digimon, forcing them away from the group.
"Oh no, Takuya Koji!" JetSilphymon cried.
But then another clone came for her.
"Hello there," he laughed.
"Huh?!" the wind fusion said, stunned by the sudden rabbit, who then tried to grab her.
"Leave her alone!" RhinoKabuterimon shouted as he charged into the villain.
"Oofm!?" Cherubimon cried as the beetle forced him away.
"Thanks," JetSilphymon said, before zipping after the bug and bunny.
Arcticmon and JagerLoweemon then leaped after them, jumping off of some of the floating rocks from time to time.
"Hey save some for us!" Gigasmon said.
"Right," Petaldramon added, before Sephirothmon tried to move forward.
But then the fourth Cherubimon blocked their way.
"Why leave so soon, hehehe," the clone laughed, "It's been so long, children,".
Meanwhile with EmperorGreymon,
The mighty Dragon Knight and the evil rabbit clone stared at each other, both eager to strike.
"Lighting Spear!" Cherubimon shouted as he summoned a bolt and tried to strike down the hero with it.
EmperorGreymon blocked it with his sword, before trying to strike back. But Cherubimon quickly blocked with his bolt, before the two were then locked into sword combat.
Eventually, the ascended dragon knight Digimon was able to force Cherubimon back.
"Your toast!" EmperorGreymon shouted as he prepared to slash the villain.
But then Cherubimon vanished into darkness, dodging the attack.
"What?" EmperorGreymon gasped.
"Are you sure?".
Cherubimon then appeared behind him and breathed out darkness at the hero.
"Aaaaahhh!" the dragon screamed as he was forced back.
"Hahahaha!" Cherubimon laughed, before breathing out darkness.
But the dragon knight was able to turn around and face the villain. He then readied his sword like a ranged weapon, "Dragonfire Crossbow!" EmperiorGreymon then blasted fire at the dark breath attack.
The two elements collided as they struggled to overtake one another. They eventually exploded, forcing the two conflicting Digimon back.
This gave Cherubimon a chance to counterattack, "Lighting Spear!" he then tossed a red bolt at the dragon knight.
EmperorGreymon tried to block with his sword, but was still hurt by the bolt, "Ughf, oh yeah, try this faker?!" he then fired another shot from his weapon at the villain.
Cherubimon managed to mostly dodge, but his left ear was burnt a bit.
"Grrr," he growled.
"Hope the others are doing better," EmperorGreymon said, before continuing his battle with the clone, "Because things sure aren't going hot here!".
Meanwhile with the light warrior,
"Magna Cannon!" the jet wolf shouted as he fired his large cannon.
The second Cherubimon clone swayed and swerved past the blast as he came closer. The villain then tried to grab the jet clad wolf hero.
But MagnaGarurumon jetted out of the way, firing his chest vulcans as he went back. Cherubimon tried to cover his face from the shots, blocking the damage a bit. But then, MagnaGarurumon used this chance to unload on the virus bunny. Firing his large square blaster until it fell off upon running out of ammo, before doing the same with his missile launcher until it fell off.
Smoke covered the rabbit as all the attacks exploded. Meanwhile the jet clad wolf began to glow.
"Starbust Hunter!" MagnaGarurumon then charged at light speed towards the villain.
But right before he could connect, Cherubimon grabbed him.
"What!?" the wolf cried.
"Hahaha, not so slow now, am I?" Cherubimon mocked, "Now be a good doggy and play dead for me, permenitly!".
"Not today!" MagnaGarurumon shouted, before his jet armor began to glow, "Feel the full might of my light!".
"What?" Cherubimon asked, before the armor exploded in his face, "Aaahh!".
MaganGarurumon then flipped backwards out of the smoke cloud caused by the armor purge. He then regained his stance as he looked down at the smoke, "That ought to do him in,".
"Think again!" Cherubimon roared as the smoke cleared, but he was rather scuffed up. "Lighting Spear!" he then tossed a red bolt at the now unarmored wolf.
"Gah!" MaganGarurumon cried as he dodged, but just barely, before landing on a floating rock.
Meanwhile with the other human warriors,
The third Cherubimon clone was still being pushed by RhinoKabuterimon.
"Argh, you're really bugging me!" the clone grumbled.
"It's what I live for buddy!" RhinoKabuterimon taunted.
"Grrrrrr, enough!" Cherubimon growled as he grabbed the horns of the lighting fusion and forced him aside.
"Whoa!" RhinoKabuterimon cried, before hitting a floating rock, "Ow,"
"Pitiful warriors!" Cherubimon gloated.
But then the fusions of wind and ice came in guns blazing.
"Jet Binter!" JetSilphymon said as she shot at the villain.
"Blizzard Barrage!" Arcticmon added as he fired from atop a floating rock.
"Grrr!" Cherubimon growled as he blocked with his arm, before conjuring a red bolt with his other, "Lighting Spear!" he then tossed it at the wind fusion.
JetSilphymon quickly dodged by jetting away. But then the villain quickly summoned another bolt and aimed it at the ice fusion.
"Lighting Spear!" he then tossed the bolt at the bear like Digimon.
Arcticmon was able to jump off the rock before it hit.
But then Cherubimon moved in fast and punched him in the gut.
"Oooww!" Acritcmon groaned in pain, nearly biting his popsicle in half.
"Tommy!" JetSilphymon cried, before Cherubimon then appeared behind her, "Wha?".
Then before she could react, he then smacked her into a floating rock, causing great pain upon impact.
"Aaaahh!"
"Haahahaha!" Cherubimon chuckled, before wincing when he thought he heard someone say.
"Slide Evolution!"
Loweemon then appeared above the dark rabbit and tried to jab his spear into him.
But Cherubimon quickly turned around and grabbed the dark warrior.
"Aguh!" he screamed.
"Heheh, you foolish child!" Cherubimon taunted as he squeezed tighter, "You should have stayed my pawn, you were so much stronger then,".
"No!" Loweemon cried, as both the physical pain and anxiety ate at him, "Your darkness only brings pain!".
"Oh does it really?" he taunted once more, "It's certainly doing better than yours haha,".
"Shut up you bad bunny!" RhinoKabuterimon roared as he came flying in, his horns beginning to glow, "Thunder Laser!" he then began firing beams of electricity at the villain.
This agitated the villain as the lasers sparked him. In retaliation he then threw the dark warrior at the large beetle. RhinoKabuterimon tried to catch the lion clad Digimon, but Cherubimon then charged him and forced him out of the way. The two large Digimon were then locked into combat, wrestling with eachothers strenghts.
"Am I really this useless?" Koichi thought as he flew through the air. But then he remembered the fight before with IceDevimon and how good he did there. "No, I can still fight!" he said as he glared with confidence, "Slide Evolution!" he then became, "JagerLowemon!".
The Dark beast then bounced off a flouting rock and flipped around, before soon setting his sights on the villain.
"Dark Master!" He then charged at the villain, enveloped in a dark aura.
By this point, RhinoKabuterimon was able to force back the dark clone, right into range of the dark beast.
JagerLoweemon then charged right through the side of the clone, causing great damage.
"AAAhhhgg!" Cherubimon cried in pain.
"That showed him!" RhinoKabuterimon cheered, as the dark beast landed on a rock next to him.
"Great one Koichi!" JetSilphymon said, as she and the ice fusion regrouped with the warriors.
However, the dark warrior then felt something, that someone close was in pain. "Koji?" he thought. He then closed his eyes and could feel that the light warrior was struggling, "Oh no, Koji, I have to help him!".
"Then go help him!" Arcticmon encouraged.
"What?" JagerLowemon said somewhat confused., "But what about you three?".
"Don't worry about us pal," RhinoKabuterimon said, "We can handle what's left of this freak!"
"So go help your brother Koichi!" JetSilphymon encouraged, "You can do this!".
"JP, Tommy, Zoey," JagerLowemon said, moved by his new friends' words, "Thank you,".
The dark beast then leaped off, pouncing on and off floating rocks towards where his brother was.
"Good luck," JetSilphymon said.
"I hope he'll be, ok?" Arcrticmon asked.
"Don't worry about him, he's got this," RhinoKabuteterimon said confidently, "Now let's finish this freak!".
But then, the clone began laughing.
"What's so funny!" RhinoKabuterimon said.
"Oh no, look!" JetSilphymon pointed out.
For the huge chuck the dark lion had taken out of the villain, soon regenerated good as new.
"You'll have to hit a lot harder than that!" Cherubimon taunted, "If you ever hope to defeat the new ruler of the digital world!".
"Ah give me a break!" RhinoKabuterimon moaned.
"We can't give up yet guys!" Arcticmon proclaimed.
"Yeah, we can do this!" JetSilphymon said, before seeming worried, "At least I hope we can,".
Meanwhile, with the former evil warriors,
The four warriors starred at the clone of their creator, their code filled with determination and worry.
"You no scare us!" Gigasmon shouted.
"What, you're not happy to have some quality time with your benevolent creator?" Cherubimon taunted.
"You're nothing but a cheap clone!" Calmaramon yelled.
"Yeah, just a knock off, right," Petaldramon added.
"Maybe so," the clone said, before squinting his eyes "But I wonder, will you be able to destroy the real one?".
This made the warriors atop Sephirothmon flinch. Afterall the thought of what had to be done had been tormenting their minds this entire battle. Would they be able to destroy the one that gave them life?
However, the clone used this moment of hesitation to strike.
"Of course, you'll never make it to the real me, Lighting Spear!" He then summoned a red bolt and prepared to toss it.
But before he could throw it.
"Atomic Inferno reflection!" Sephirothmon shouted, before breathing out the fire warrior's attack at the villain.
"Gah!" He screamed in pain.
"Don't lose focus thy comrades!" the steel beast shouted vigorously.
"But sugar?" Calmaramon said, "What he said about-?"
"Tis not the time m'lady," Sephirothmon said, "Tis may be difficult choices in are near future, but has'ith for now, we warriors must steel thy courage and fight on!"
The three took in his words and nodded.
"Sephirothmon right, now time to fight!" Gigasmon shouted as he leaped off the steel beast, "Quagmire Twister!" He then spun into a mud tornado and charged into the villain.
"Grr," Cherubimon growled as he tried to hold back the earth beast with one arm.
"Your right sugar, let's do this!" Calmarmon said, before sinking into the squid before leaping up, "Titanic Twist!" She then spun around and went charging forward like a drill.
But before she could hit, Cherubimon was able to force back Gigasmon into her, causing the beast to collide.
"Wahh!" the shouted in pain, before failing down.
Thankfully they were able to grab onto Sephirothmon orbs.
"Is that all?" Cherubimon taunted, "Didn't I raise you better than this?".
"Quick, up Sephirothmon, yah understand!?" Petaldramon commanded, before the Steel beast ascended.
"Hm, you cannot escape like that, 'children'," he mocked before chasing after.
But his confidence turned to surprise once the wood beast leaped off of Sephirothmon above him.
"Hey mind's if I's a drop in, right?" Petaldramon shouted as he fell on top of the villain.
"What, baahh?!" Cherubimon shouted as he went down with a giant leaf lizard on him.
"Hold him down Petaldramon!" Gigasmon cheered.
"Don't let him up sugar!" Calmaramon added.
"Right!" The leaf lizard shouted, before Cherubimon tried to throw him off, "Whoa!?"
After tossing the wood beast aside, the clone tried to go after the other former evil beast. But then Petaldramon shot his tongue at the villain and grabbed his arm.
"What!?"
"Ah no yah don't!" Petaldramon taunted, from atop a floating rock, "Yah coming with me pal, right!".
"You really think a mere beast spirit can hold me!?" Cherubimon scoffed, before feeling something heavier grab his legs, "Gaahhh!?" he then looked down to see an odd-looking giant penguin holding him down.
"Naw, but I'm sure me and Daipengmon can, right?" Petaldramon said, "It's like I always say, two heads are better than one, yah understand?".
"Wak!" Daipengmon agreed, much to the clone's annoyance, as he was dragged downwards.
Meanwhile with the others,
The other legendary warriors struggled on against the clones, especially MagnaGarurumon who had lost his armor.
"Lightning Spear!" The clone said as he tossed a bolt at the wolf.
The wolf Digimon dodged, landing on another floating rock just as the bolt destroyed the one he had been one.
But then Cherubimon appeared in front of him and then tried to smash the ascendent light warrior. But the wolf was able to jump upwards out of the way and then proceeded to kick the villain.
"Gah!" Cherubimon groaned, before moving to retaliate. He quickly zoomed towards the wolf and grabbed him.
"Ah!" MagnaGarurumon groaned, struggling to break free.
"It's over for you now puppy!" Cherubimon said, before preparing to breathe out darkness on the light warrior.
MaganGarurumon tried to break free. But using up his armor had tired him a bit and was beginning to struggle.
It looked like it was over for the Light warrior, as the dark attack was about to fire from Cherubimon's mouth. But then,
"Ebony Blast!"
Suddenly a blast of darkness went straight into the clone's mouth, causing his attack to explode.
"Brrraaahhh!?" Cherubimon screamed, letting go of the light Digimon.
JagerLowemon then jumped in and picked up MagnaGarurumon on his back and escaped.
"You okay bro?" the dark beast.
"I've been better," MagnaGarurumon said, feeling grateful, "Thanks for the save,".
"Brah, you will pay!" the Cherubimon with the burned mouth roared, as he gave chase.
The dark beast continued to evade the clone, determined to protect his brother. Eventually they ended up closer to where the lighting, ice, and wind warriors were.
"I thought you had this handled?" JagerLowemon teased.
"Yeah, yeah, we're working on it!" RhinoKabuterimon groaned, while wrestling with their own Cherubimon clone.
Suddenly, EmperorGreymon and the clone he was fighting, crashed in nearby.
"These guys just won't quit!" The fire Digimon growled, as his sword clashed with his Cherubimon, "We have to hit them with all we got!".
"Ask and thou shall receive!" a dramatic voice said.
The heroes then looked to see that Spehirothmon had risen near where all the others were fighting.
"Make way thy comrades!" he shouted, before unleashing a barrage of elemental attacks from his orbs. While the earth and water Digimon, who had switched to their humanoid spirits, hung on while staying out of the way of the attacks.
The heroes quickly moved out of the way as the three Cherubimon clones were struck.
"Ahh!" they screamed.
"Hey nice one!" EmperorGreymon said.
"Yes, for with thy power, no evil shall stand before thy legendary warriors!" the steel beast boasted.
"Oh really?" The clone near the fire warrior said, before vanishing.
"What?" EmperorGreymon gasped.
The villain then appeared next to Sephirothmon.
"Eh?" he gasped, before trying to react.
But then Cherubimon grabbed the steel beast, his grip massive and strong, making the earth and water warriors fall off.
"Gah!?" Sephirothmon cried.
"It's true that the spirit of steel is one of the most powerful beasts spirits, however, it also has a key weakness that I know too well," The pride filled villain said, before summoning a red bolt "A strong strike to your dark sphere and your through!".
Sephirothmon tried to escape, but his former master's hold was too strong. Cherubimon prepared to plunge the lighting into the weak, but suddenly.
"No you don't!" EmperorGreymon shouted as he swooped in and blocked the bolt with his great sword.
"Leave my friend alone!" the dragon knight shouted.
The two giant Digimon struggled as they clashed. But soon EmperorGreymon was able to force back the bolt, before then slashing off the villain's arm that held the steel beast.
"Aaaahh!" Cherubimon cried, as Sephirothmon escaped.
"You okay?" EmperorGreymon asked the bugged blobs.
"I thank thy for thy assistance," Sephirothmon said gratefully, before sounding concerned, "Though must remain vigilant!".
"What?" the dragon knight.
But then Cherubimon regrew his arm, before blasting EmperorGreymon away with his dark breath.
"Ahhh!" he screamed as he went flying.
Fortunately, Spephirothmon quickly rolled up and used his orbs to stop the dragon ruler's descent.
"Agh, thanks" KaiserGreymon said, after hitting the steel beast, "Guess we're even now?" he joked, getting a smile from the beast's large lips.
Meanwhile the two warriors of earth and water were still falling.
"Waahhh!" they screamed.
But then, the warriors of thunder and wind came flying towards them.
"Grumblemon!" RhinoKabuterimon shouted.
"Ranamon!" Jetsilphymon cried.
Thankfully, the two flying Digimon were able to swoop in and save their two friends.
"Oofm, thanks friend," Grumblemon thanked.
"Oh, thank yah sugar," Ranamon thanked as well.
"How foolish of you!" A Cherubimon scoffed, "Wasting your energy to save your former enemy, pathetic!".
"What did you say?!" EmperorGreymon shouted, greatly offended.
"How dare you say that about our friends!" JetSilphymon shouted.
"They may have been evil, but they're good now!" RhinoKabuterimon shouted, "Which is way more than I can say for you bunny boy!"
"While you fools struggle relying on weak 'friends', I need not do such thing!" As the villain said this, the other clones floated in, before all speaking, "I am the rightful ruler of this world and I stand above all of you with my power,".
However, Petaldramon and Daipengmon were still hanging from one of the clones. But the clone quickly yanked the lizard up and threw him aside, while another threw a bolt at the penguin mech, forcing it off as well.
"Whaah!" he shouted.
"Hang in there!" Arcticmon shouted as he leaped towards the lizard and grabbed him, before landing on a floating rock, "Got'cha,".
"Oomf, thanks Tommy," Petaldramon said, "Sorry I couldn't hold him back, right,".
"It's okay," Arcticmon assured, "By the way, did you see Daipenmon down there?".
Ice fusion was indeed down there, currently falling while trying to regain flight,
"Waaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhkkk!" he screamed, before crashing handle first into a large rock, "Wak, wak, waaaaak," he sang in a funny tune.
"Eh, I'm sure he's fine, right?" Petaldramon said.
"You may have two transcendent legendary warriors, but the others are useless!" the clones taunted, "Even if those three fusions may scratch me a bit, the rest are utterly useless!".
This really hurt the former evil warriors, because no matter what their current forms were still much weaker compared to the other human warriors.
"Even so, they still have more than you ever will!" EmperorGreymon shouted.
"Hm, what nonsense could you possibly be babbling about?" Cherubimon asked, "How could they have any power?"
"Because they're clever!" RhinoKabuterimon shouted, thinking of Grumblemon
"Because they're reliable!" Arcticmon shouted, thinking of Arbormon.
"Because they're kind!" JetSilphymon shouted, thinking of Ranamon.
"Because they're wise!" EmperorGreymon shouted, thinking of Mercurymon.
"Because they've repented from their evil ways with pure hearts," MaganGarurumon shouted, thinking of his brother, "But more important than anything else,".
"Because their are friends!" the five warriors shouted with all their hearts.
This reinvigorated the once evil Digimon and filled their hearts and code with determination and justice.
"Thanks guys," they all said, some in their own way, "Now let's do this, partners!".
The legendary warriors then charged forward, side by side with their partners.
EmperorGreymon slammed into the first clone, with Sephirothmon not too far behind.
The Cherubimon clone then readied a red bolt, "Lightning Spear!" he then tossed it at the fire and steel warriors.
But the two dodged it with ease. EmperorGreymon then moved forward and slammed his sword onto the villain. Cherubimon tried to hold back the blade but struggled greatly.
"It's over!" EmperorGreymon proclaimed.
"Never!" Cherubimon roared, before breathing out darkness, forcing the dragonknight back.
"Gahh!" EmperorGreymon groaned, before landing on a huge floating rock.
"Hahahah!" the villain laughed.
But then Sephirothmon appeared behind the clone.
"Atomic Flame reflection!" The steel breathed out fire on the villain.
"GAHHHH!" Cherubimon cried, before turning around, "Why you!" he then tried to grab the blob.
But the steel beast quickly slipped away, "Well thou be'ith powerful, thou tis foolishly arrogant to not realize the dangers from behind!" he taunted.
"What?!" Cherubimon gasped, before looking back to the fire Digimon.
EmperorGreymon's sword then set a blaze, "Pyro Dragons!" he then stabbed it into the rock he was, causing dragon snakes made of fire to irrupt out and fly towards the villain.
The vipers then ravaged Cherubimon, ripping holes in the giant's body.
"Gaaah!" Cherubimon cried, before chuckling, "You think that will stop me!?" he said as he began to regenerate.
"No, but I bet he can?" EmerporGreymon chuckled, as the steel beast swooped in and absorbed the Pyro Dragons.
"What!?" Cherubimon gasped, before the steel beast circled around him.
"Hahahah, Pyro Dragons reflection!" Sephirothmon then unleashed the dragons from his orbs, all enveloping the clone in flames.
"Gaaaaaaaahhhhhhh!" the clone screamed as his body was completely burned away, finally destroying it.
"Alright, nice job!" EmperorGreymon cheered.
"Tis a glorious smite, but remain vigilant, for thy battle be'ith far from over!" Sephirothmon proclaimed, before flying towards the others.
"You can say that again," the fire Digimon added as he joined him.
"Does thou be'est hard of hearing?" the steel beast teased.
"Hey I didn't say you had to say it again," EmperorGreymon replied jokingly.
Meanwhile, the second clone was trying to strike down the light and dark warriors.
"Lighting Spear, Lighting Spear!" he shouted as he tossed his red bolts at the brothers.
But JagerLoweemon kept leaping from rock to rock to dodge, while the unarmored MaganaGarurumon rode.
"That's the best you got!?" the dark beast taunted.
"You cannot evade me forever!" the clone roared.
However, what the villain didn't realize was the lion had been heading towards the steel beast and had nearly made it to the blob.
"Thunder Fist Reflection!" Sephirothmon shouted, as he shot lightning out of one of his orbs.
"Gah!" the clones cried, as it briefly stunned him.
"Dragonfire Crossbow!" EmperorGreymon shouted as he blasted back the villain.
"Mind if we take a pit stop?" JagerLowemon asked the steel beast, as he leaped towards him.
"Godspeed, dark hero!" Sephirothmon replied, as he moved to allow the brothers to leap into the light sphere.
"You think you can hide from me, fools?!" Cherubimon scoffed, before summoning two red bolts "Lighting Spear!" he then tossed them one after another at the steel beast and fire warrior.
But Sephirothmon rearranged and contorted his orbs to dodge the bolts, while EmperorGreymon dodged with ease. After which the steel beast soon rising and pointing the sphere the brothers had entered at the villain.
"Face me cowards!" the rabbit roared, as he charged forward.
But suddenly, a barrage of missiles and shots came out of the orb at the villain.
"What, aaaaahhhh!?" Cherubimon roared in pain.
"You asked for it!" the brothers shouted.
Then out of the orb came a fully armored MagnaGarurumon, soaring towards the villain full force.
"Impossible?!" Cherubimon gasped, as the transcendent light warrior jabbed his missile launcher into the villain, "How!?"
"Quite simple really, once thy brothers entered my light sphere, it's sheer radiance was able to re-equip MagnaGarurumon," Sephirothmon bragged, before the dark beast exited the sphere.
"And with it, you're through!" JagerLoweemon shouted, as he leaped into the sky and readied his weapon.
"I told you that you're no match for the power of our bond!" MagnaGarurumon shouted, before blasting his weapon into the villain.
"Gahhhh!" the clone screamed, as parts of his body were blasted into oblivion, "You, can't, stop-," he tried to say as he regenerated.
But the transcendent light warrior jetted backwards, allowing his brother to take aim.
"Dark Master!" JagerLoweemon then charged into the villain, covered in a dark aura as he went right through the clone.
Then MaganaGarurumon then flew in and charged full throttle at what was left of the clone, "Starburst Hunter!" he then accelerated to lightspeed and sliced right through the villain.
"Raaaaaaahhhhhhh!?" the Cherubimon clone screamed, before finally exploding in defeat.
"Nice one brother!" JagerLowemon cheered.
"Right back at you bro!" MagnaGarurumon replied.
Meanwhile, with the others,
"Draining Rain!" Ranamon said as she summoned a rain cloud over the villain, which then poured onto him.
"Grrr!" he growled, before trying to lunge at the water girl. But then the wind fusion swooped in right behind him.
"Jet Binter!" JetSilphymon shouted, as she shot at the back of the clone's head.
"Why you bratty little!" Cherubimon groaned, before trying to grab her.
But JetSilphymon quickly darted away upwards. Then Ranamon also jumped upwards near the other girl, as they readied their combo.
"Let's do this sugar!" Ranamon said, before pointing her finger at the villain, "Dark Vapor!" She then shot out a black acidic vapor.
"Here we go!" JetSilphymon said as she sung her pinwheel, "Ultra Turbulence!" she then summoned a tornado than combined with the vapor, before crashing into the villain covering him in a dark mist.
"Grarrw!" he moaned as the acid ate at him, "You fools, you will not stop-" he shouted as he swiped away the mist with his huge arms, only to be greeted by the earth warrior about to smack his face, "What!?".
"Take this, bozo!" Grumblemon shouted as he whacked his hammer into Cherubimon's face.
"Gaaaaaahhhh!" the clone screamed in pain, while Grumblemon jumped away onto a floating rock, "Grrrr, Lighting Spear!" Cherubimon then summoned a bolt of red lighting and tossed it at the rock the earth warrior was on.
But Grumblemon quickly leaped off it and onto another rock.
"Lighting Spear, Lighting Spear, Lighting Spear, Lighting Spear!" Cherubimon roared with fluster as he summoned and tossed more lighting at the troll "Gaah, hold still you little gremlin!".
But Grumblemon continued to leap from floating rock to floating rock, just escaping the bolts as they obliterated the debris. Then as he reached the last rock, Grumblemon instead leaped upwards while fractal code covered him
"Slide Evolution!" he then became, "Gigasmon!"
As the earth beast went flying, RhinoKabuterimon soared past him
"Go get him buddy!" the thunder fusion roared as he stopped near the giant.
"You got it friend!" Gigasmon replied as he bounced off the beetle. The earth giant then forced his way towards a lower large rock in front of the villain. "Tectonic Slam!" he then crashed into the rock and sent it flying towards the clone.
"Hah, you think a mere pebble can harm me!?" Cherubimon scoffed before punching the rock into pieces. But then to his surprise, behind it was Gigasmon riding on top of RhinoKabuterimon charging towards Cherubimon, "What?!".
RhinoKabuterimon then jabbed his horn into the villain, sparking with lightning.
"Condenser Strom!" he shouted as his electricity fried the clone.
"AHHHH!" Cherubimon cried, "It's, still, not, enough!".
But then, not too far away.
"Oh really!?" JetSilphymon asked as she flew in.
"Slide evolution!" Ranamon shouted as she became, "Calmaramon!".
"Well let's fix that sugar!" Calmaramon added from another floating rock, before her humanoid half descended into the squid, followed by the squid leaping into the air.
But then the two female warriors began their attack.
"Titanic Twist!" Calmaramon shouted as she began to twist and spin.
"Ultra Turbulence!" JetSilphymon then summoned a tornado behind the squid with her pinwheel.
The wind then forced the spinning water beast forward at blinding speed. She then crashed into the villain and drilled into his back with great force as the wind spun her faster than ever.
"Naaaaaahhhhh!" The Cherubimon clone screamed as the attacks destroyed him.
The clone then exploded, another one beaten as the warriors went through the remaining darkness of their fake foe.
Calmaramon then grabbed onto the thunder fusion with her tentacle, before swinging upwards above them, "Slide Evolution!" She then turned back to "Ranamon!", she then fell down and landed on Gigasmon's shoulder, who then held her on as RhinoKabuterimon zoomed forward.
"Nice one!" RhinoKabuterimon cheered, "That showed him, whoo hoo!".
"You said it sugar!" Ranamon added cutely.
"No too keep going and take on rest of faker Cherubimons !" Gigasmon proclaimed.
"Right behind you!" JetSilphymon said as she flew by.
Meanwhile with the warriors of wood and ice,
"Lighting Spear!" Cherubimon then threw a red bolt at the two heroes.
Arcticmon quickly moved in front of the wood beast to deflect it with his axes. The ice fusion struggled a good bit with this task, but eventually was able to knock it aside.
Meanwhile, Petaldramon lifted his tails into the air while he stood on a floating rock, "Thorn Jab!" he then plunged his root tails into the rock, which then shot out of the bottom downwards.
"Hah, you think that feeble attack can reach me?" Cherubimon mocked, "Pathetic!".
"Sorry to disappoint, but eh," Petaldramon said, before grinning mischievously, "I's wasn't aiming for yous,".
"Hm?" Cherubimon then looked down, only to be surprised by DaiPengmon being lifted up by the roots, "What in the name of-?".
The tails of the wood beast then flung the ice fusion upwards at the villain.
"Wak wak!" DaiPengmon proclaimed as it pulled out its giant popsicles and whacked the Cherubimon with them.
"Ah, oofm!" he cried in pain, before trying to retaliate. Only for the penguin abominations to breathe ice into his face, "Braaaahh!".
But then Arcticmon leaped over DaiPenmon and slashed the villain's face, "Icicle Giri!".
"Aaahhh!" Cherubimon cried.
Acrticmon then stomped his foot on the villain's face, before backflipping off him over towards the wood beast, who was now standing on his hind legs swinging side to side.
"Ready Tommy!" Petaldramon asked, as the ice fusion landed on his head.
"You bet!" Arcticmon replied, before pulling out his sword blasters and readying his attack, "Blizzard Barrage!" he then let loose his blasters
"Leaf Cyclone!" Petaldramon shouted as his leaf frills spun as he fired a green leaf filled tornado.
Then DaiPengmon slammed down behind them as his crank spun, before adding his blizzard breath to the mix.
The barrage of ice then mixed with the tornado as it went straight for the vile villain.
"AAAAAAAhhhhh!" the Cherubimon clone screamed as the fusion attack destroyed him.
With another clone defeated the two warriors celebrated.
"Ah right we did it!" Arcticmon cheered.
"Right!" Petaldramon roared with a big grin.
"Wak," DaiPengmon added as he floated up casually.
Once the final clone was destroyed, the ten legendary warriors quickly regrouped feeling very triumphant.
"We're actually doing it!" RhinoKabuterimon said.
"We're winning!" Acrticmon added.
"It's not over yet!" MagnaGarurumon shouted.
Sadly the wolf was correct, for once all the clones had perished, the true Cherubimon descended from the darkness above.
"So you have beaten my replicas?" Cherubimon envoy of pride said, "But despite your power, you are still nothing compared to me!".
Cherubimon then breathed out a black breath that forced back all the warriors that were humans, leaving only the pure hybrid Digimon.
The once evil Digimon starred at the villain, who was once so close to them.
"You're not going to back down, are you sugar?" Ranamon asked, already knowing the answer.
"Sorry to say dis, but actions have consequences, right," Petaldramon said.
"We no want to but, but if Cherubimon stay evil," Gigasmon said, "Then we legendary warriors will have to destroy you!".
"Destroy me, hahaha, you're even more foolish than I thought?!" Cherubimon laughed, "You fools are no match for my infinite power, not to mention," he then got a creepy grin, "Can really destroy the one who created you?"
This made the four flinch, for this problem had been plaguing them for the entire battle. They knew it had to be done, but they just didn't know if they really could end their creator. Well the clone had taunted them before, hearing it from the real thing made it hurt even worse.
"Though may have created us, but we arth also legendary warriors," Sephirothmon proclaimed, the doubt plagued his voice "So we must fulfill our duty to protect thy digital world and defeat you!".
"Hah, how foolish," Cherubimon scoffed, before his eyes flashed red.
Suddenly the four former evil Digimon glowed red, three of them being forced out of their beast modes and back to humanoid mode.
"Gaahhh!" they groaned in pain.
They were then levitated towards and in front of the villain's face.
"You can't do it, can you?" Cherubimon tainted, "I can feel the doubts in your hearts!".
"You leave them alone!" EmperorGreymon shouted, before trying to approach, only to be stopped by a force field the villain had summoned, "What!?".
"I will deal with those children later," Cherubimon said, "First I shall punish my children, permanently!".
"Those thou really no longer care?" Mercurymon asked.
"You should know by now Mercurymon," Cherubimon said, as the dark pride glowed.
"That's it, only you matter," the prideful voice whispered, "All of them mean nothing, all that matters is you!"
"Yes, I am all powerful!" Cherubimon said, though not towards the other Digimon.
However, the four former evil warriors felt this, a dark presence within Cherubimon.
"What for that presence," Grumblemon asked.
"Whatever it is, I sure don't like it sugar!" Ranamon added.
"Tis evil, but yet, somewhat familiar?" Mercurymon thought.
"I don't know if dat really matters for us right now right!" Arbormon added.
"Right you are, for now you perish!" Cherubimon roared, before preparing to blast them with darkness from his mouth.
"Leave Grumblemon alone you creep!" RhinoKabuterimon cried, struggling to charge through the barrier.
"No Ranamon!" JetSilphymon cried, struggling to break through.
"Arbormon!" Arcticmon cried, "Don't hurt him!"
"No Mercurymon, hang in there!" EmperorGreymon shouted.
But the heroes just couldn't break through. Was this the end of the four once evil Digimon?
No, ne-ver, AGAIN!
Suddenly a small cyan laser blast hit the back of Cherubimon, forcing him to miss.
"Blaarrggh!?" he shouted, before looking towards a certain shadow "You!".
"Ben!?" The others shouted in surprise.
Sorry about this… His power spike was not…. Intended.
Cherubimon then tried to blast the shadow, but it was able to dodge, but soon crashed on a rock.
I can't do much….. but….. I can…. Atleast…. Give you a fair…. Shot!
He then snapped his fingers and reality warped and flickered slightly. Then once it stopped, the barrier holding back the other heroes vanished, allowing them all to break through.
"Cherubimon!" they shouted, before ramming into the prideful rabbit and forcing him back.
"Gaaaahhhhh!" he screamed as he spun back.
This also caused his force hold on the four Digimon to break, allowing them to escape and land on the same rock as the shadow.
"That close one for sure," Grumblemon gasped.
"You're telling me, right," Arbormon added.
"Look, that shadow guy," Ranamon pointed out, before they approached the weekend shadow, "Are you okay sugar?".
Gahhhhh…. *glitch**sputter*…
"Though has saved us once more," Mercurymon said, sounding grateful yet concerned.
Don't mention it….. right now….. you must…. Win….
"But how can we sugar?" Ranamon said, her voice filled with despair.
"Cherubimon right, we no can destroy him," Grumblemon moaned, "Even if have power, we no have in us no more,".
Ugh… sorry you're in this conundrum… I didn't quite plan this far ahead…
"I knows we's gots to do's it, but," Arbormon sighed.
Hey don't feell bad….. it's never wrong to still care… but right now…. I'm not sure if there's another way…
"I fear thou may be'ith correct," Mercurymon spoke, much to the alarm of the others.
"How can you say that sugar?!" Ranamon asked, "He's still are creator!".
"We no just beat him and be done easy!" Grumblemon added, feeling annoyed.
"But did'st thou not feel thy presence that emanated from Cherubimon?" Mercurymon asked.
"Well yeah I's felt dat, right," Arbormon replied, "But's what's dat got to do with anything?".
"I am not fully sure, but thy evil felt most like that what plagued me when thy devil Daemon possessed my being," Mercurymon explained, "Though not fully like him, I fear it felt even more vile and evil,".
Ugh… of course 'he' had to start ruining things.. grrrrr…
"Hm, you know something shadow?" Grumblemon asked.
Uh listen.. That presence you felt, that's probably what's pushed you former boss over the edge of evil…
"Huh, who do that too Cherubimon!?" Grumblemon demanded.
"Hey who cares, how do we's stops it, right?" Arbormon pointed out.
I'm not sure how deep the corruption is, but I think Cherubimon can still be purified…. In fact….. it may be the only way to save him now.
"Well I guess, but still," Ranamon sighed.
Listen, I know it's hard. But… if you can purify him.. then I promise…. You will be able to see the good Cherubimon again…..
"Really!?" they gasped.
"Of course, tis thy very nature of purification works!" Mercurymon stated.
I can't guarantee anything…. But I know you have the strength….. to be heroes…and….. save the world….. and….. your creator…..
"He's right y'know," EmperorGreymon said.
The four Digimon then looked behind to see their friends.
"And your not doing it alone!" Arcticmon said.
"All of us are legendary warriors," JetSilphymon said, "And more importantly we're all friends!".
"And friends help each other with everything," RhinoKabuterimon said, "Including things like saving the world and your daddy!".
"Grumblemon, Arbormon, Ranamon, Mercurymon," EmperorGreymon then held out his hand, "Let's do this!".
With all these wonderful words, the four Digimon of earth, wood, water, and steel, all felt the warmth of their bonds empower them.
"Hm, you kids really good at encouraging," Grumblemon grinned.
"It's hard, but together, we's can, no, we's will win!" Arbormon shouted vigorously.
"Because we're legendary warriors and with our pals, we can't lose!" Ranamon cheered.
"Now for suet, let us end this battle, for thy digital world and for the rebirth of our creator!" Mercurymon proclaimed.
The four were then covered in fractal code as they shouted, "Execute!"
The beast spirit of earth roared as the evolution began. Grumblemon's muscles became as hard as ground as they began to grow to giant sizes as his armor broke away as the earth giant formed. He then landed on the ground, shattering it as he got up and punched his fist together, for he was now, "Gigasmon!".
The beast spirit of wood roared, as Arbormon appeared in the digivolution zone. The robot then turned black as his eyes glowed and the armor of bushy trees, red leaf main and feet, and a twin root tail appeared and slowly pressed onto the robot. The wood armor then exploded as the forest covered reptile emerged.
The large lizard then landed onto the pedestal, before standing on his hind legs and roaring, "Petaldramon!".
The beast spirit of water roared as the evolution began. Ranamon's skin turned white, while messy purple hair grew, before a squid emerged from below and grabbed the water warrior with all its tentacles like a mouth. The tentacles then fell down dead, revealing the squid armored sea hag.
"Calmaramon!" she screeched.
The beast spirit of steel roared as the evolution began. Mecurymon appeared and soon the screen zoomed on to his lips. He then smiled as his face seamlessly became that of a green ball with giant lips. The screen then zoomed out to reveal the contorted bundle of blobs that soon straightened out and proclaimed itself,
"Sephirothmon!".
So…. Awesome!...
The heroes then leaped into the final battle, doubts cast aside and ready to finally end Cherubimon's evil rampage.
The pride-powered villain then spread out his arms, "Lighting Javelins!" he shouted, causing lighting to strike his fist and conjure two extra evil looking red bolts that looked more like weapons. He then took a battle stance as he charged forward.
The villain then clashed with EmperorGreymon. The two large weapon's slashing and clashing with the dragon's sword and the rabbit's bolts.
MagnaGarurumon then swooped in and started firing from his gun.
Cherubimon as he struggled against the dragon knight and the shots, then tossed one of the bolts at the jet clad wolf.
MagnaGarurumon quickly jetted away, only to find that the bolt was following him.
"What!?" he gasped, before accelerating to escape the bolt.
"You'll find I'm not as predictable as before hahahah," Cherubimon chuckled.
"Yeah, but you're still just as ugly," EmperorGreymon taunted, before looking towards his comrade, "Hang in there Koji!".
"Don't worry, he won't get me!" he said as he kept flying.
"We got you pal!" RhinoKabuterimon shouted as he flew in, with Gigasmon on his back, "Thunder Laser!" he then shot a lightning beam at the bolt, causing it to sputter a bit, "Now your turn buddy!".
Gigasmon then leaped off and began to quickly spin around, "Quagmire Twister!" he then created a mud tornado that he threw at the bolt.
The muddy whirlwind was able to neutralize the attack, saving the jet clad wolf Digimon.
"Thanks guys!" MagnaGarurumon thanked, before swooping back to face the villain.
This annoyed the villain, who then forced back the dragon knight making him drop his weapon. He turned his attention to the others.
"RAH, Lighting Javelins!" Cherubimon shouted, before chucking many red bolts at the heroes.
The heroes quickly moved to dodge the attacks.
The two jet clad Digimon then swooped back in.
"Jet Binter!" JetSilphymon shouted, as she shot at the villain.
"Magna Missiles!" MagnaGarurmon shouted as he did the same.
"Ger," Cherubimon groaned at the pain, before suddenly teleporting in front of the jet clad warriors and slapping them away.
"Aahhh!" the wind warrior screamed, before quickly regaining her stance alongside the light warrior.
"Magna Cannon!" the wolf then fired from his larger right blaster.
Cherubimon tried to block the shot with his arms.
"Thunder Laser!" RhinoKabuterimon assisted in the attack with his laser.
"Blizzard Barrage!" Arcticmon added while riding on the beetle, firing his blasters.
This made it harder for the pride-powered Digimon to hold back the assault. Cherubimon then forced back the attacks, before trying to ascend upwards.
However this gave JetSilphymon and EmperorGreymon the chance to zip by and slash the villain with her pinwheel and his sword.
"Rahh," Cherubimon groaned as the weapons cut his skin, "Just kidding, haha,"
But then the wound suddenly healed.
"What?" JetSilphymon gasped, "He can regenerate like the clones!?".
"I mean that's not too much of a stretch, right?" Petaldramon said.
"How we supposed to beat him then?" Arcticmon asked.
"Just keep hitting him!" The fire warrior proclaimed.
"Work for me!" Gigasmon said, before leaping off the steel beast and spinning, "Quagmire Twister!" he then threw a mud tornado at the villain.
"Save some for me sugar!" Calmaramon shouted, before leaping into the air and spinning, "Titanic Twist!" She then went flying at the villain.
Petaldramon, who had landed on one of the floating rocks, started swaying back and forth before his leaf began spinning, "Leaf Cyclone!" he then blasted a green tornado at the villain.
"Ebony Blast!" JagerLowemon then added his dark blast to the mix.
The four attacks all hit Cherubimon, hurting him a good bit. But he then forced them back, before grabbing the water beast.
"Gah?!" she screamed, as her humanoid part reappeared.
"Any last words darling?" Cherubimon taunted.
"Not today sugar!" Calmaramon shouted, before puffing up her chest, "Acid Ink!" She then spat the ink in the villain's face.
"Gargh!" he groaned as it stung his evil eyes.
While he was distracted, RhinoKabuterimon rammed into the villain's back, causing him to drop the water beast.
She then landed onto Sephirothmon, though she did poke him a little bit with the end of the squid part.
"Gah!" the steel beast groaned.
"Slide Evolution!" Calmarmon then turned back to Ranamon, "Sorry about that sugar,".
"Ugh, think nothing of it m'lady," The steel beast assured, before shifting around slightly, "Would thou aid me in an attack?".
"Centennially sugar," Ranamon said, while Sephirothmon pointed the water sphere at the villain, before the before shouted, "Draining Rain!".
The two then drenched Cherubimon with their water attacks, causing great irritation.
"Dragonfire Crossbow!" EmperorGreymon then charged his weapon before blasting it at the villain, after the water attack finished.
"Gaaaahhhh!" Cherubimon screamed as he was sent flying back. But he quickly regained his stance.
"I will not be stopped, I cannot be stopped!" Cherubimon yelled, before raising his hands and shouting, "Storm of Pridefull Judgment!" causing crimson lighting to rain down.
The rain of evil blighted lighting hit all the heroes, despite their efforts to dodge.
"AAHHHHH!" they all screamed in pain as they fell back.
While they were able to maintain their current forms, the attack had weakened them greatly, to a point where it was hard to move for the less powerful Digimon.
However, the lighting was still raining, so the warriors quickly took cover around some of the floating rocks.
"Graaaahhhhh!" Cherubimon roared, "I am invincible, rahahaha!"
"He's completely lost it!" RhinoKabuterimon said.
"He has been consumed by thy own arrogance," Sephirothmon proclaimed, before realizing something, "However, tis may be thy only time to strike!".
"What do you mean sugar?!" Calmaramon asked in pain, "Don't you see the storm behind us!?".
As she said this, the rocks were beginning to shatter.
"I theorize if we can hit the source of thy pride power, victory shall be taken!" Sephirothmon explained, "It will take'ith all are powers into one final strike to end it, the question is only how!?".
This made the fire warrior wince, figuring out a powerful plan.
"Of course, If we can combine all our legendary warrior elements, then we can end this!" EmperorGreymon shouted, "Everybody, send you attacks into Sephirothmon, then into my sword so we can end this!".
"Brilliant!" Sephirothmon said, before he then stretched out into his normal pose, "Now legendary warriors, lend thy power!".
Then one by one, the heroes sent their attacks into the steel beast's orbs of the respective element.
"Ultra Turbulence!" JetSilphymon summoned a tornado.
"Blizzard Barrage!" Arcticmon fired snow missiles.
"Condenser Storm!" RhinoKabuterimon blasted electricity from his horn.
"Ebony Blast!" JagerLowemon fired.
"Quagmire Twister!" Gigasmon spun a mud tornado.
"Leaf Cyclone!" Petaldramon blew the leaf-filled tornado.
"Draining Rain!" Ranamon, having switched to her humanoid form to be closer to her element in attack, conjured a rainstorm.
"Magna Missiles!" MagnaGarurumon blasted.
"Pyro Vipers!" EmperorGreymon summoned fire serpents.
Each attack was sucked into the orbs, though the dark attack went into the steel sphere so as not to harm the beast. Sephirothmon then glowed as he struggled with all the elements, "Grrr, Legendary Element, Reflection!".
The steel beast then fired the elemental energy of every attack into the fire warrior's sword, which then glowed like a rainbow.
"Aggh, everyone's power, I can feel it!" EmperoGreymon said, struggling to hold the blade.
"Let's do this!" MagnaGarurumon said as he grabbed and lifted his comrade, before soon taking off towards Cherubimon, blazing past the lighting raining.
"You fools will never stop me!" Cherubimon roared, as he rained down more black red lightning.
The lighting was fast, but the jet clad wolf swiftly swerved and barrel rolled away from the lighting.
"I am infinite!" Cherubimon taunted, but his confidence began to waver as the heroes got closer, "Your chances are hopeless!" he said, beginning to sweat, but the duo kept growing closer, "No, stay back you fools!" Cherubimon then started throwing lightning javelins alongside the storm directly at the warriors, "Light Javelin, Lighting Javelin!".
While the light warrior was fast, eventually he was struck by one of the attacks.
"AAAAHHHHH!" MagnaGarurumon cried in pain as he fell back, having let go of the Fire Digimon.
"Koji!" EmpeorGreymon cried
"Keep going Takuya!" MagnaGarurumon shouted, before accelerating forwards and kicking the dragon, "Starburst Hunter!" With his armor purging attack, the wolf was able to propel the dragon knight further towards the villain.
"Gaaaahh! EmperorGreymon shouted as he readied his saber.
"No, you will not win!" Cherubimon screamed, before breathing out a stream of darkness to force the dragon knight back.
However, since he was so focused on the accident warriors, the Envoy of Pride had not noticed that the other warriors had been following behind. With Cherubimon's former warriors, who had switched to humanoid forms, riding atop
"Go get him guys!" the warriors of wind, ice, lighting, and dark shouted as their Digimon leaped off of them.
Then floating above the villain was his four children, about to attack.
Mercurymon fired a reflective light from his mirrors.
"Dark Vapor!" Ranamon fired a dark mist.
"Blockade Seed!" Arbormon fired a seed.
"Take this!" Grumblemon shouted as he threw his hammer at the villain.
All the attacks exploded in the dark rabbit's face, stopping the breath forced the four back, but allowed EmperorGreymon to break through the attack.
"Gaahhhh, no stay back!" Cherubimon cried, before growling, "Stay away form me!" he then forced the former evil warriors back with his hands, knocking them back into their human comrades.
But despite this, the dragon knight Digimon was still pressing forwards with his elemental blade.
"You've hurt my friends for the last time Cherubimon!" EmperorGreymon shouted, "Let's finish this!".
"Silence!" Cherubimon as he prepared to strike the dragon knight with his javelins.
EmerporGreymon charged with all his might, and with the strength of his friends, the dragon knight Digimon stabbed the sword straight into Cherubimon Envoy of Pride's head right into the symbol of pride.
"Gah!?" Cherubimon gasped, before screaming in pain as fractal code leaked from his wound "Naaaaaaaaaaaaarrrrggghhhh!".
The symbol of pride shattered, as did the rest of the pride powered lines, as fractal code exploded from the villain's wound. Cherubimon fell back as the data poured out of his head, screaming in pain as the dragon knight held the sword tightly in his skull.
"Good bye, Cherubimon!" EmperorGreymon stated.
The dragon knight pulled back his blade, the battle was finally over.
Cherubimon then fell limp, as fractal code surrounded him, more than any Digimon from before.
"I don't know if all that evil can fit in my D-tector, but if anyone needs purification, this guy does," EmperorGreymon said, as his device absorbed the code, "Fractal Code, Digitize!"
Then as the fractal code dissipated, the once evil Cherubimon was now the bright colors of his good self. The evil in him was gone, as Cherubimon now looked peaceful and free of his hate.
All the legendary warriors and Digimon looked up at this. Speechless at the sight of the purified holy Digimon.
"Legendary Warriors," he said, his voice calmer but still deep, "You have freed me from my evil ambitions and hatred, thank you,".
"Cherubimon?" Grumblemon asked, sounding confused and emotional.
"Dat really yous? Arbormon added.
"Yes, I have been freed from the evil that controlled me," Cherubimon said, "However, I must warn you legendary warriors, that evil is still at large and will soon make their move,".
"What are you talking about?" EmperorGreymon asked.
"Before, I had let my frustrations with the other angels cloud my judgment and by doing so, a dark presence warped my mind," Cherubimon explained regretfully, "It does not excuse my actions, for I chose to listen to it and I am now paying for my horrid sins,".
Sadly, as the once evil Cherubimon spoke, his body was slowly disintegrating away, with bits of data fading away.
"I do not have much time left, so please heed my warning," Cherubimon said, "Know this, the evil that corrupted me, is the same that once plagued this world long ago,".
"Wait what do you mean?!" EmperorGreymon asked.
"I cannot explain, for my time is nearly through," Cherubimon sighed, "But you have all proven your strength by beating me, so I know the digital world is in good hands.
The regretful Digimon than looked to the 4 warriors that once served him,
"And my former warriors, no, my children, before I go, I just want you to know," Cherubimon said, as more of his body disappeared, "Raising you four, were the happiest years of my misspent life,".
"Cherubimon," they said, feeling the sincerity of his words.
"I am truly sorry for what I have done to you," Cherubimon sighed, before smiling, "Thankfully, you have all found true comrades, that I know will make you happier than I ever could,".
"Tis nonsense, thou still are creator!" Mercurymon pleaded, "Thou could never be replaced in our hearts!".
"That is, nice to hear," Cherubimon said, only the upper part of his body remaining, "But now, I must repent for my sins, and begin a new journey," he then looked up to see the images of his angelic comrades who had perished, "Seraphimon, Ophanimon, I'll be with you soon,".
"No, wait, don't go!" Ranamon cried.
"Cherubimon, please, no," Grumblemon said, trying not to cry.
"Right," Arbormon added, just as sad.
"I hope to see you all, again," Cherubimon said, with tears in his black kind eyes, "In, a better, life,".
And as he muttered his final words, Cherubimon faded away. All that was left was an egg that soon flew away, hoping to one day be reborn.
"Farewell, lord Cherubimon," Mercurymon stated, shedding tears if he could.
"It's finally over," MagnaGarurumon said.
"Yeah," EmperorGreymon said, unsure how to feel, "You all okay?" he said looking to the others, namely the grieving Digimon.
"Tis hard to say," Mercurymon spoke, as the others were tearing up, "But I feel, it shall be'ith fine, at thy very least, someday,".
"Yeah, your right sugar," Ranamon sniffled, before crying.
"It be okay, me know it," Grumblemon said, his voice strong but emotional.
"Right," Arbormon added, trying not to cry.
The final battle was done. With Cherubimon beaten and his warriors redeemed, there was nothing left to torment the digital world. If only that was true.
Unknown to the heroes, the ball of fractal code that came from the once dark Digimon soon sank into the depths of the broken digital world. Into the clutches of someone far worse.
Inside of the core of the fractured digital world,
The orb of code floated above a pink glowing core that hid an evil presence. The core soon absorbed the code, allowing its dark capture to regain some of his lost strength.
"Cherubimon, you pitiful fool, you failed me!" An arrogant voice said, as the figure of a young angel-like creature showed, "No matter, as long as I have the data you collected, my resurrection will soon be complete,".
Then from the creature, orbs appeared and flew away.
"Rise up, my Royal Knights, it is now up to you!" The voice proclaimed, "And this time, those fools won't have it so easy, hahaha!".
Then within the dark continent, figures that resembled powerful Digimon appeared, ready to begin their quest to resurrect the dark lord and destroy all who oppose them.
Narrator Rika: Oh great, there's somebody worse than that creep Cherubimon? This oughta be good, on the next Digimon Frontier!
Purification Redemption!
At long last it's done! After way way too long the chapter is finally DONE!
Oh goodness, I am so so so so so soooooooooooooooo sorry this took so long to finish! I did not mean to take half a year to get this chapter finish but a lot kind of got in the way of things.
Basically, life kind of broke me this year. A lot happened, such as needing to get a new computer, getting sick a lot, driving myself mad trying to paint a model kit (white paint is the worst!) as well as summer making it too hot to create much. Not to mention lots of bad stuff online that I don't need to bring up.
But I've finally put my life back together and have gotten back to creating. I've even started streaming on Twitch.
To anyone still here, I must thank you all sooooo much for waiting for so long. I don't why but I've really bad writer's block with these last few chapters. I guess you could say I had Cherubi-writers block.
But hopefully with that done, the next chapters will flow out more quickly. What I might do is try to get a lot of the chapters mostly written before I post one, that way when I do start posting I can do it more frequently.

I don't think there will be any Appmon, mainly since I haven't watched that show. But really should sometime?
Probably no for any X-Evolution, but who knows?
Well this story still has a long way to go. Could be around 40 chapters or more at this point? But yeah to anwser people with a similair question, the story is not over yet and this is very much the mid point, or atleast a little past it.
Hmmmm, maybe...
As for Digimon Ghost Game, I enjoyed it at first. But it got a bit stall after awhile. I still check in when ever an episode looks interesting and Gammamon and his friends are still awesome and adorable.
Anyways once again thanks for waiting so long. I can't say when the next chapter will be done, but I will try to make sure it does not take so long as this one did!
