At long last, the dark Digimon Cherubimon had been defeated and purified by the 10 legendary warriors. But now that he has been vanquished, what awaits our heroes now?
It wasn't long before the ten warriors had regrouped after the final fight and a breif rest. All of the kids and their Digimon friends were together near what was left of Cherubimon's fortress.
"It's finally over," Koji said in disbelief.
"We finally beat him!" JP cheered.
"Hooray, Huzzah, that's our heroes!" Bokomon, Neamon, and Patamon cheered as they danced around with fans, "The 10 legendary warriors have saved the digital world!".
"It feels like a dream," Tommy said.
"Well wake up buddy, because we did it!" Takuya said, placing his hand on the young boy's shoulder, "Cherubimon is gone, and the Digital World is safe again,".
"Yeah," Tommy replied, still in disbelief.
However, some of the Digimon weren't as thrilled as the others. Which some of the humans noticed.
"Um, are you guys, okay?" Zoe asked the four Digimon.
"Yeah, we good," Grumblemon said, though a little down.
"You sure buddy? JP asked with concern.
The earth warrior nodded, though still feeling regret.
"What's done is done, right?" Arbormon said.
"He's right, even though it's sad what happened to poor Cherubimon, we know it's for the best sugar," Ranamon said, before smiling, "Besides, we at least got to see him when he was good for a little bit, before saying goodbye,"
"Cherubimon has begun a new journey, but I'ds hope that in due time, we will see him again," Mercurymon said, lightening the mode a little.
"Yeah, besides, me bet that sneaky shadow Ben already trying to fix Cherubimon up," Grumblemon pointed out.
"Yeah, good point Grumblemon!" Takuya said.
"Say where did he get off too?" Ranamon asked, looking around.
"Wasn't he with you three?" Zoe asked.
"Well, he was here a moment ago?" Bokomon said.
"Who was he again?" Neamon stupidly asked.
This caught the attention of the steel warrior, who wondered what the shadow still had planned.
"At the very least, now the digital world can finally come back together now!" Takuya said.
"Yeah!" the others said triumphantly.
However, something had occurred to some of the heroes.
"That's strange?" Koji pointed out.
"What is?" Koichi asked.
"The land that was lost should have come back by now?" Koji said, as he observed the fractured land, "But the Digital World's surface still looks damaged!".
This put an end to the feeling of celebration.
"Hey you're right this doesn't make sense?" Takuya said, "When the data was restored, the land should have been restored with it?".
"Hmm, tis a statement most true, yet thy land remains fractured?" Mercurymon said, pondering this predicament.
But suddenly, in the distance a mountain began to crumble as if its data was stolen. This alerted the heroes greatly.
"I don't believe it!" Takuya said with shock.
"That doesn't look good," Tommy added.
"Oh dear, what now!?" Bokomon said, as he jumped on Takuya's shoulder.
Then the mountain dispersed into fractal code and vanished.
"Those mountains just disappeared," Takuya said, rather shocked
"Me no do it!" Grumblemon said, a little nervous.
"Wait, didn't Cherubimon say there was still a great evil?" Koji pointed out.
This caught the attention of the others.
"Hm, yes thy most certainly did'st describe a greater evil," Mecurymon pondered, before thinking of something else that was left uncertain, "Hm, I wonder,".
"That must be what scanned the data!" Takuya pointed out.
"What could be causing that kind of destruction?" Zoe asked.
"Let's go see," Takuya said, worried about what awaited them.
However, while the others went to search for the source of the destruction, the warrior of steel Mercurymon had slipped away unnoticed. Planning to investigate something different.
A few moments later
The group had walked a good bit towards the mountain. While the human kids were further ahead, with Koichi a bit behind the other humans, the three legendary warrior Digimon were a bit more behind, still a bit conflicted after the big battle, as well nervous of what was to come.
"Hey uh, what yous suppose this other evil is going be, right?" Arbormon asked.
"Me no care who or what new evil be," Grumblemon said, "Me just know evil mess up Cherubimon, so Grumblemon make sure me mess them up harder!".
"I know what you mean sugar, and I want them stopped as much as the next mon," Ranamon said, "But won't this big meanie be a lot stronger than Cherubimon?".
"Hm, could be?" Arbormon replied, "It's like I always say, there's always a bigger Digimon, right?".
"Well me no care!" Grumblemon growled, "Them still going get smashed to digi dust!".
"It's just, well it's not like we had an easy time with Cherubimon," Ranamon pointed out, "We still won thankfully, but if this thing is even stronger then, well, I really don't know?".
"Grrr, if only me had fusion, then me show them!" the earth warrior grumbled, greatly annoyed.
"Hangs on, I's just hads a thought, right?" Arbormon said, "We's weren't originally supposed to be here to help fight,".
"Yes we've gone over this so many times, Arbormon!" Ranamon replied, a little annoyed, "We're all over that, stop trying to get all philosophical about existence sugar!"
"Yeah I knows, right," Arbormon replied, "I's was just wondering if we's are even going to be any use in this here new battle, yah understand?".
This made the trio stop, for this thought did worry them a good bit. After all, besides Koichi, they were the only ones without some kind of fused power up form.
However, their plight had not gone unnoted, and someone closer to them soon spoke up.
"Well, I think you all will be a big help no matter what," Koichi said, having approached the former evil warriors, "I saw how hard you all fought against Cherubimon, and with how strong he had gotten, I'm not sure we could have beaten him without all of you,".
"Hmm, I guess you gots a goods point der Koichi," Arbormon said, feeling a bit uplifted.
"That has to be the nicest thing you've ever said to us sugar," Ranamon said happily, "Granted you neva really say much to us, but it's still very sweet of you,".
"Uhm, your welcome," Koichi said, though a bit shy, "Don't worry about it, we're all strong together after all, I'm sure we can handle whatever comes next".
Grumblemon just grunted, though he still seemed a little hung up on something, before walking forward, before the other two followed.
However, Koichi hung back for a bit after they passed him. He then looked at his D-tector with concern, wondering about something inside he did not understand.
"What could this mean?" he thought, as he listened to what sounded like heart beats from his D-tector, before letting out a sigh and running to catch up with the others.
However, as the once evil warriors began to catch up, Ranamon noticed something.
"Wait a minute, now where did Mercurymon go?" She said, a little concerned, "I could have sworn that metal head was with us a moment ago,".
"Eh I wouldn't worry abouts it Ranamon," Arbormon assured, "I'm sure he'll pop up when we needs him, yah understand?".
"Yeah, I guess so, after all, that is pretty much how Mercurymon is half the time?" Ranamon replied, a little less worried, "Though I still can't help but worry a little about him and his big ol' pointy body?".
Meanwhile, not to far away,
Gaahhhh….. boy…. That was, awesome! Gck *glitch* *sputter*
The shadow that had aided the heroes, as well as saved the four former evil warriors, had escaped from the others and was currently struggling to move through the land.
It may have….. drained me, sooo much….. but it was worth it to see, them shine!... *glitch* *sputter*…. Ughh, I just hope, they'll be ready for…. Them…
"Praytell, and whom might 'them' be-ith?" a Shakespearean voice asked.
*Gasp* what?!
The shadow then looked up to see the warrior of steel standing in front of him.
"Though has'ith some knowledge to impart me thinks?" Mercurymon said, before holding up his mirror shield.
The shield then shined brightly. Then in a matter of moments the shadow was now inside the mirror.
Ghack? What do you think you're doing flat face?!
"Hmhmhm, you see thy shadowy savior, I know that you haf knowledge of what tis yet to be," Mercurymon explained, "So I believe that thy should be able to provide a tactical advantage to yours truly hahah,".
Ugh, I guess that would be something you'd do. Though too be honest, I could use a place to recover and this mirror is kind of comfy.
"Tis fortunate you see'ith things my way," Mercurymon grinned.
Like I have much of a choice in this state?
"Now, what is this evil Cherubimon spoke off?" Mercurymon asked.
Yeah, um, here's the thing. It would be rather redundant for me to tell you.
"Praytell, what trickery is thou daring to pull!?" the steel warrior demanded.
Look, a Digimon is literally going to appear before the heroes and explain everything about what's coming next. So, unless you want to sit through a speech twice, I suggest you hurry up and get back to your friends, k?
"Ugh, very well," Mercurymon grumbled, "Though don't think I be'ith finished with thy,".
Oh I don't. Oh one more thing. Would you mind not showing me to the others for now.
"Hm, now why might thy make such a request?" Mercurymon asked, rather confused.
I don't know? I guess I'm just not….. ready to be around them all right now…. Especially the humans…..
While rather taken aback by the shadow's shyness, the steel warrior felt best not to pry.
"Very well," he said, "Besides, I had'ith no plans of sharing thou's new involvement in my strategies in thy first place,".
He then snapped his fingers and teleported away.
Back with the others,
Mercurymon had appeared at some ruins to find the other legendary warriors fighting a strange masked Digimon than had just summoned meteors from the sky.
"E gads, what calamity be this?!" the steel warrior, before quickly joining the heroes in the counterattack.
"Well, we were investigating what happened and this masked freak started attacking us!" Agunimon explained with lighthearted sarcasm, "How's your day been?".
The legendary warriors swiftly dodged the meteors and prepared to retaliate.
"Don't attack!" the mysterious Digimon shouted.
"What you mean dorkus!?" Grumblemon shouted, rather annoyed.
"Yeah, you started it!" Beetlemon added.
"I have no intention of fighting the ten legendary warriors," the mysterious Digimon stated.
Then to everyone's surprise, the meteors sailed right past them and struck the ground.
"I know you are the protectors of the peace!" The Digimon spoke, "But all of you must hear what I have to say, for I am Baromon, a keeper of knowledge!".
Yep, that's him alright.
"Hm, wait, is thou implying," Mercurymon whispered to his mirror containing the shadow.
"I have a prophecy!" Baromon said, as he placed his fingers on his head, making it shine, "It concerns the rebirth of an ancient evil!" his eyes then glowed greatly, "Lucemon!".
Then the heroes saw a vision. Inside of the fractured digital world, inside of a core filled with darkness, was a Digimon that resembled a young angel with many wings, crouched down trapped in an orb, that soon gave the heroes an evil grin.
The sheer shock of this, turned the six warriors back into their human forms, while the remaining four Digimon were just stunned with shivers of evil.
The three smaller Digimon quickly ran to the downed heroes, very concerned for their friends.
"Takuya speak to me!" Bokomon said with concern, as he and the other two Digimon ran towards the downed warriors.
"Are they alright!?" Neemon added.
"They look alright, thank goodness," Bokomon said, as he checked on Takuya.
"W-what was that?" Tommy moaned with fear.
"S-such darkness?" Koichi added.
"Tis no doubt, twas really Lucemon," Mercurymon said, greatly disturbed.
"So Lucemon's, coming back?" Takuya said.
"That's not good," Bokomon said.
"Eh, you're telling me, right?" Arbormon added.
"You got it wrong pall!" Takuya yelled at the strange Digimon, "Lucemon was defeated a long time ago!".
"I will show you!" Baromon proclaimed, "The truth is about to happen!".
Then as he said this, the huge wall he was standing on glowed with red cracks before exploding.
"Okay?" Takuya said, rather confused.
A few moments later,
The oracle like Digimon had taken the heroes into an underground archive. They then stopped on a platform that soon began to descend into a dark void.
"You see before you the Digital World's Tunnel of History," Baromon explained.
"Tunnel of history?" Takuya said, confused by the strange location.
In the black void were many blue disks rotating around, many of which had symbols of the legendary warriors above them.
"Yes, this place holds the entire recorded history of our world," Baromon explained, as the platform they were on continued to descend.
The heroes were left in awe at the sight of all the data.
"At the start, our world began from ten spirits, and ten different types of data," Baromon explained, "There are human and beast type spirits,".
"Yes, yes, yes, that much we know!" Bokomon complained.
"Yeah, get to thing about new enemy!" Grumblemon added.
"There is more," Baromon said, as the platform sank into one of the disks, "The then Ancient Legendary Spirits banded together to defeat Lucemon and then sealed him in a world of nothingness, the dark area".
As they sank through the desk, they saw the silhouettes of the past legendary warriors fighting the evil angelic Digimon, before seeing Lucemon sealed into a dark core inside of the planet.
"All of us ha'th heard thy history before," Mercurymon complained, "Can't thou get on to thy new information!?".
"Be quiet and listen!" Baromon said, before pointing forward, "Behold and learn, Lucemon's demise led to this,".
The heroes then looked forward to once again seeing the shadows of the original ten legendary warriors.
"The warriors freed the spirits, all ten were released into our world," Baromon explained, as the spirits flashed by, "The spirits needed to be protected, so they were entrusted to the three Celestial Digimon, who had chosen to rule,"
The heroes then looked back to see images of which celestials had gotten each spirit.
"Five were given over to Cherubimon, two were placed in the care of Seraphimon, and the other three to Ophanimon," Baromon explained, "And then, the warriors fell to sleep, and it was wonderful,".
The platform continued to proceed down into another disk.
"You see, the next period of time was characterized by a long and lasting peace that existed throughout the entire Digital World," Baromon explained, as they gazed at a image of the digital world that had the dark core hidden within, "But Lucemon was waiting, biding his time, knowing the day would come when he would be revived, waiting patiently for his chance,".
As the heroes gazed upon the image, the fallen angel glared at them, sending chills through their body at the sight of the arrogant evil.
"Then one day, an opportunity arose, he projected his aura into one of the Celestial Digimon," Baromon explained, as they sank into another disk.
"Wait, you mean?" Ranamon asked.
"Cherubimon," Grumblemon said, "So Lucemon why old boss go bad?".
"Yes, Cherubimon was a victim of evil," Baromon regretfully answered, as images of the once holy rabbit's corruption showed, "His heart was drowned in darkness, after that, Lucemon used Cherubimon to collect the Digital World's data for him,".
As he spoke, images of the data being gathered played, before showing the fractured digital world.
"The result is the ravished world you see before you, eaten away by the treachery of Lucemon," Baromon explained, before image of Cherubimon's defeat, much to the former evil warriors discomfort "When you vanquished Cherubimon, the massive amount of data he gathered was released, and absorbed by Lucemon,".
"Hey wait, so Cherubimon didn't really know anything!" Koichi snapped.
"It was Lucemon, but he acted through Cherubimon!" Koji added.
"Thy fiend!" Mercurymon cursed, "After using and abusing thy creator, the scoundrel discarded him!".
"Kind of like you did too Ranamon?" Zoe pointed, much to the mirror's dismay.
"Augh, haf we not moved past that?" Mercurymon groaned, to which Ranamon just made a cute, unsure jester.
"Eh who cares, what matters is how soon can we's beat up that dirty little-!" Arbormon said, sounding intense as he punched his fist.
"Ahem, all of this brings us to the present," Baromon said, stopping the wood warrior from getting violent, as the platform stopped around some disk that showed a horrid sight "Bear witness to the deplorable condition of the digital world,".
The images showed parts of the content of darkness filled with holes and chunks removed, as well as the sight of a mountain being digitized.
But Digitizing the mountains were dark humanoid figures, stealing the fractal code. This made heroes gasp at the sight of these strange creatures that vaguely resembled humanoid knights.
"Who is that?" Takuya asked.
"They're sucking up the fractal code!" Koji added.
"The mountains are disappearing!" Zoe cried, while Patamon moaned.
"Oh my, even Grumblemon wasn't that fast with mountains!" Ranamon added in shock.
"Hey!" the earth warrior, rather offended.
"I mean she's not wrong, right?" Arbormon pointed out, much to the troll's dismay.
"Alright, so tell us, who are they!?" Takuya demanded.
"I don't know," Baromon answered, "I'd say, now that Cherubimon is gone, these are the other underlings that have been sent to collect the Digital World's data,".
As the images faded, Baromon turned away from the heroes.
"Now you understand what is happening, Lucemon will use any means to achieve his goal," Baromon explained, "If they succeed, Lucemon will be revived!".
They soon left the archive and proceeded through walls of fire.
"That is my prophecy," Baromon said.
"You mean?" Takuya asked with worry.
"The entire Digital World will be destroyed," Baromon said, as his third eye glowed.
"The, end?" Takuya said in shock as he imagined the world exploding, "It can't be!".
The room then flashed with light, much to the heroes discomfort. When it faded, they all saw stairs that led out of the archive, soon illuminated when a door at the top opened.
"We thank you humans and Digimon," Baromon said as he left, "What you do next, is your choice now,".
"Well that hardly helps?" Koji complained.
"So what are we going to do now?" Ranamon asked.
"Well obviously, we're going to stop Lucemon's revival!" Takuya proclaimed.
However, while the others talked about the upcoming conflict, the warrior of steel snuck off to speak to the shadow in his mirror.
"Speak'ith now shadow!" Mercurymon shouted at his mirror shield, "Who arth those underlings thy Digimon spoke'ith of ?!".
Ugh, your not going to like this felcty…
"Do not call'ith me that!" Mercurymon said, very annoyed, "Now speack'ith!".
Right…. Those were Royal Knight Digimon.
"Royal Knight?" Mercurymon asked.
Yeah, and unfortunately Royal Knights are one of the most powerful Digimon in any and all Digital Worlds!
"Y-you must be'ith joking?" Mercurymon stuttered.
Sadly no…. They're usually a problem for most Digi-Destined and take much effort to defeat. Thankfully... There should only be 2 of them here.
"Two?" Mercurymon said.
However, they are still strong enough to destroy the entire world! Made the rest of things a total slog with their stupid strong power.
"Then what be'ith their weak point?" Mercurymon tried to ask.
But then the room began to shake, and rocks began to fall.
"What's going on?!" Zoe screamed.
"The world be shaking!" Grumblemon cried.
"Someone must be stealing more of the data?!" Koji guessed.
"Right?!" Arbormon added.
"I think you mean wrong!" Neemon added in fear.
Suddenly outside, other pieces of the world shattered, causing a brief cave in where the heroes were.
A few moments later,
After the cave in had stopped, the room the heroes where in was reduced
Mecurymon had slipped into his mirror before the calamity, and quickly reappeared and was shocked at the sight of the damage.
"Egads!" he gasped, "Thy new Digimon cant's really be this strong?"
Sadly yes…. Though may want to make sure your friends are, ok? Especially before the royal pains get closer.
"Eh, yes, I know'ith!" Mercurymon grumbled to the shadow, "Thy comrades must haf survived, a mere cave collapse shouldn't have bested thy?" though he was a little worried as he spoke this.
But then, Takuya soon popped out of the rocks, a bit roughed up.
"Takuya!" the steel warrior gasped, before helping the boy out of the rubble, "Is thou well?".
"Ugh, couldn't be better," Takuya groaned.
Soon the others emerged from the rubble,
"Ow," JP and Tommy moaned as they got out.
"Ugh, is everyone ok?" Zoe asked as she got up.
"I guess so sugar?" Ranamon said, as she rubbed her head.
"Me not to bad," Grumblemon said, after popping out of a pile.
"Well not all of us are earth Digimon!" Bokomon said.
"I'm not?" Neemon stupidly said.
"Oh dear?" Patamon added, very worried.
It wasn't long before everyone had gotten out of the rubble. However, before they could even try to figure out what had just happened, it was soon made apparent that they were not alone.
Suddenly, an arrogant laugh came out of the smoke. The heroes then looked to see two figures walking forward.
"Hahahahahah!" the two mysterious Digimon laughed, sounding arrogant and proud.
One appeared slim and feminine with a knight like appearance. The other was larger and had two large dragon wings and a dragon-like head with two curved horns.
"Hey, knock it off!" Takuya shouted at the laughing, "Just who are you two!?"
Then within seconds, the two Digimon had left the smoke, showing their powerful appearance in great detail.
"I am Dynasmon, the Passionate Warrior," The white dragon knight said proudly, his voice strong and arrougant.
"And I am Crusadermon, the indifferent warrior," The pink female knight said, just as proudly, her voice sophisticated and elgant.
"We are here for Lord Lucemon's justice!" they both proclaimed.
"Wha, me no get?" Grumblemon said, rather confused.
"You're not the only one?" JP added.
Dyanasmon then stomped his foot on the ground, as he unfolded his wings, "We have come to fulfill Lucemon's destiny as his emissaries of evil!" he proclaimed as he posed dramatically.
"We are supporters of his right to become this world's supreme ruler!" Crusadermon added, as she twirled once and pulled out a rose, "We server Lord Lucemon by collection fractal code,"
The knights then slammed their fist into the ground, and started consuming the fractal code.
"Lucemon asked, and we shall complete it!" Dyansmon proclaimed.
This horrified the digi-dested.
"Stop!" Takuya yelled, "Stop it now!".
"Return thy fractal code now, fiends!" Mercurymon added.
They then ran to stop the horrendous act, humans ready to evolve and Digimon ready to fight.
However, before the heroes could even activate their D-tectors and fight the royal knights, a blue laser shot out from the smoke, nearly hitting the heroes.
"huh!?" Takuya said in shock.
"You should really learn to be more patient," a calm voice said.
Wait, what?
Then as some of the smoke faded, another Digimon stood between Dynasmon and Crusadermon. His was blue resembling a humanoid dragon similar to Dynasmon, but this one was slicker, heroic looking, and had a V on his chest as well as a V shaped crest on his head and large purple wings.
"It is not wise to run in recklessly," The dragon spoke, "Especially when introductions are still in order,"
"Well put UltforceVeedramon," Dynasmon complimented.
"Thank you, for I am UltforceVeedramon, the swift warrior!" the blue knight stated.
What!? That's not supposed to?
"There's three of them!?" Zoe gasped.
"Two, three, no matter to me!" Grumblemon said, as he pulled his hammer and jumped at the knights, "Grumblemon still smash, sesmic sle-!".
But then a double-bladed spear came spinning out of the smoke like a boomerang and knocked the earth warrior back.
"Gahhh!" Grumblemon cried as he hit the ground,
"Grumblemon!" JP cried, worried for his friend.
"What now?!" the earth Digimon grunted, after shaking his head.
Then out of the smoke jumped a bluish purple knight with a skull like face and a shield on his arm, who then grabbed the spear and slammed it into the ground.
"You should have heeded the words of my comrade, you imbeciles," the knight said, his voice deep, "For you are no match for me, Craniamon, the impenetrable warrior!".
What, where'd he come from!?
"Cr-crainamon!?" Arbormon gasped, before thinking "Oh no, is dat's who think it is?".
"Clearly they have no semblance of strategy Craniamon," A feminine voice spoke, different from Crusadermon.
"Hahahah, well put Leopardmon!" Crainamon chuckled.
"Who?" Koichi gasped.
Not another one!? Don't tell me that….. oh no?
Then out of the smoke a slender brown knight with a blue face, blond hair, and leopard-like head armor. It carried a long fencing sword and appeared very refined and proper. The knight then held its sword gracefully as it proclaimed its name.
"I am Leopardmon, the strategic warrior!".
"How many are there?" Tommy asked, getting more worried.
"And these children defeated Cherubimon?" Leopardmon scoffed, "I guess even fools can be lucky?".
"Whatever, let's just fight already!" an impatient young voice said.
Then from the smoke appeared a blue dragon Digimon that had lots of golden armor.
You gotta be kidding me!? He made one of my favorites evil too?!
"Patience brother," UlforceVeedramon said, "We must finish our introduction first,".
"Ugh, fine, I'm Magnamon, the miracle warrior!" The golden armored Digimon groaned, before pounding his fist, "I'm way stronger than you losers, can we fight now!".
"Oh my, how rude!" Ranamon said, rather annoyed.
"What, what kind of Digimon are these?" Koichi cried.
"The most powerful Digimon!" Craniamon gloated.
"And the true saviors of this pitiful planet!" UlforceVeedramon added.
"Indeed, for you see you pathetic warriors," Crusadermon started, as the smoke faded.
"We are all lord Lucemon's faithful all-powerful servants," Dynasmon continued.
The smoke then vanished to reveal a giant red dragon with lard gray wings that carried a humongous lance.
"The Royal Knights!" They all shouted proudly.
The Royal Knights!?" Takuya asked.
"Yes, they mightiest Digimon of all time!" The large red dragon boomed, his voice making everyone shutter, "So say I, Examon, the almighty warrior!".
For crying out louD! NOOOOOOOOO!.
"Aguh, must be so loud Examon!?" Crainamon groaned.
"Grrr, it is only my natural tone!" Examon growled, "One of a truly powerful dragon!".
"Many of us are dragons, you beast!" Dynasmon scolded, "Tis not allow you to blast out our hearing!"
"So tone down your outburst," Crusadermon added, "If you even can?".
"Grrr!" Examon growled in frustration, "Fine,".
The heroes were left dumbfounded at the sight of the new Digimon. All seven of them looked really strong and seemed to know it too.
"What are these Digimon?" Koji asked.
"Bokomon, does your book say anything about these guys?" Tommy asked.
"Urm, well?" Bokomon said, before pulling out his green book and looking in it, "Let me see, it says here that the Royal Knights are known for being great protectors of the Digital World?" This quickly confused the small Digimon, "Wait, then why would the Royal Knights, who have always been known as defenders of right align themselves with Lucemon?!" Bokomon asked.
"This world is, disordered," Crusadermon mused, as she smelled her rose.
"And the only one who can fix it, is Lord Lucemon," Dynasmon added.
"Indeed, for this world will crumble to nothing if this disorder is left untouched!" Craniamon proclaimed.
"With his power and wisdom, it is the most strategic choice to follow him," Leopardmon added.
"Enough, our wills are stroung and need not be reinforced!" UlforceVeedramon stated, "Let us begin combat against those fools!"
"Yeah, let's go!" Magnamon cheered childishly, before leaping into the sky and glowing, "Magna Blast!"
The orbs then crashed around the heroes, nearly hitting them.
"That's it!" Takuya shouted, as he and the others readied their D-tectors once more.
"I warn you, do not interfere!" Dynasmon warned, as he flew upwards, looking down upon the heroes.
Both of the spirits of thunder glowed as the chubby boy was covered in fractal code. The spirits each gave pieces of themselves as JP gained a new form. The fractal code then exploded away, allowing six legs to stop the ground as the giant blue and gold beetle sparked with lightning, he then opened his mouth under his two horns of rhino and stag and proclaimed himself, "RhinoKabuterimon!"
Both of the spirits of ice glowed as the young boy was covered in fractal code. The spirits each gave pieces of themselves as Tommy gained a new form. The fractal code then exploded away, revealing a giant purple penguin with ice pops? The bird then breathed out a puff of cold air and proclaimed himself as, "Daipenmon," before then opening up to allow the true ice fusion to jump out, "And, Arcticmon!" he said as he whipped out his weapons, with Daipengmon closing and letting out a friendly squawk.
Both of the spirits of wind glowed as the girl was covered in fractal code. The spirits each gave pieces of themselves as Zoe gained a new form. The fractal code then exploded away, revealing a blue haired humanoid girl with jet like armor that covered most of her body. The fusion then descended onto the pedestal with the thrusters on her pack active, she then grabbed her weapon, a large blue pinwheel and proclaimed herself "JetSilphymon!".
The spirit of darkness glowed as the evolution began. Koichi then swiped his fractal code covered hand across the device, "Execute, spirit evolution!". The three headed lion spirit then roared, spewing out lions made of a dark mist as the dark armor slowly pressed onto the boy.
The new warrior of darkness grabbed his spear as he landed on the pedestal, then the dark mist lion then went to his other hand and became a shield that resembled a sphinx, as he slashed his weapon while the lion head on his chest spat out a dark fireball, before proclaiming himself,
"Lowemon!".
The Humanoid spirit of fire glowed, before ascending alongside its beast spirit as well as the respective spirits of ice, wind, earth, and wood. The spirits then aligned into a hexagon, with the spirits of earth and wind in the center forming a square.
Takuya then swiped his hand, covered in a massive amount of fractal code across it as fire flared in the background, "Unity execute!" Takuya shouted. The spirits then arose around him as the fractal code transformed him, "Unified spirit evolution!".
The boy then fell through the fractal code, the spirits crashed onto his body like flames, forming into armor of a red dragon knight. The Digimon then landed on a pedestal as it slashed its sword, leaving flames in its wake as it shouted its name.
"EmperorGreymon!"
The Humanoid spirit of light glowed, before ascending alongside its beast spirit as well as the respective spirits of thunder, darkness, water, and steel. The spirits then aligned into a hexagon, with the spirits of water and steel in the center forming a square.
Koji then swiped his hand, covered in a massive amount of fractal code across it as light shined in the background, "Unity execute!" Koji shouted. The spirits then arose around him as the fractal code transformed him, "Unified spirit evolution!".
The boy then fell through the fractal code, the spirits crashed onto his body like light, forming into armor of a slim jet clad wolf. The Digimon then landed on a pedestal as it launched missiles from its as it posed before shouting its name.
"MagnaGarurumon!".
With there humans spirit evolved and the digimon eager to fight, the 10 legendary warrior leaped into battle aganst the seven Royal Knights.
The transcended Digimon began their clash with the royal knights Dynasmon and Crusadermon.
"Ooh, a new challenge?" Dynasmon mocked, as he cracked his knuckles, "This may require us to get serious?".
"Dominating our enemies for Lucemon is truly a thing of beauty!" Crusader proclaimed as she smelt a rose.
EmperorGreymon quickly tried to slam his sword onto Dynasmon. But the White dragon knight simply grabbed it with his claws effortlessly.
"What!?" The fire Digimon gasped.
"Is that really all you got? Dynasmon mocked, before forcing the sword and its wielder back, "Dragon's Roar!" He then shot blue and red swirling lasers out of his palms at the hero.
"Gahh!" EmperorGreymon cried in pain.
Meanwhile, MagnaGarurumon was launching an assault of missiles on the pink knight.
"Magna Missiles!" the jet clad wolf shouted as he launched the barrage.
But Crusadermon just effortlessly dodged them, moving around gracefully and elegantly.
"Oh, you have grace or elegance my dear," She mocked, as she danced, "Spiral Masquerade!".
Crusadermon then spun like a whirlwind as her golden bands created energy that easily destroyed all of the light warrior's attacks, slashing them to bits with graceful persission.
"H-how?" MagnaGarurumon gasped.
"Like this, fool!" Crusadermon said, as she appeared in front of the wolf, "Fist of Athena!" She then punched MagnaGarurumon with her large gold gauntlet, knocking him back greatly.
"Oofmr!" he cried, shocked by the power of the impact.
Meanwhile, the warriors of wind, ice, and thunder were facing the two blue dragon Digimon.
"Come on, let's gooooo!" Magnamon shouted impatiently, before charging forward.
"Just try me kid!" RhinoKabuterimon shouted, before charging forward at the gold armored Digimon.
The two Digimon then locked arms with horns, struggling as they wrestled with each other. Unfortunately, despite the thunder fusion's size, he was actually struggling against the gold clad dragon.
"Gahh, how's this kid so strong?" RhinoKaburterimon groaned, as the knight gripped harder onto his horns.
"Because I'm the strongest!" Magnamon cheered, before throwing the beetle aside as if he was nothing, "Hahaha, loser!".
"JP!" JetSilphymon cried, before flying towards the younger knight, "Jet Binter!" She then started shooting at the knight.
However, the rapid attack seemed to barely phase the gold Digimon.
"Hah, that doesn't even tickle," Magnamon laughed, "What a stupid girl you must be!".
"Stupid!?" The air fusion snapped, very offended, "Why you little-!"
But before she could finish, UlforceVeedramon suddenly appeared in front of her and punched her into the air.
"Ughf!?" she groaned, before being knocked back.
"Now, now brother, you must be more respectful to your opponents," the older dragon said, "Especially ladies," he then dashed to where the wind fusion was.
"Whatever!" Magnamon groaned with annoyance, before turning his sights to the beaten beetle, "I'll just blast this bug to bits!" his armor then started to glow, "Magna Blast!" He then unleashed many golden orbs of light at the thunder fusion.
But before they could hit, Arcticmon jumped in and slashed away the attack.
"Hey, lay off my friend!" the ice fusion shouted.
"No fare you stupid brat!" Magnamon pouted, before suddenly having a giant popsicle appear above him, "What the?!" he said as he grabbed the treat.
This was of course, Daipengmon attempting to crush the dragon with his frosty treat.
"Grr, stupid toy, go back to the crib!" Magnamon growled as he held back the popsicle, before being tackled by Acticmon.
Meanwhile in the skies, JetSilphymon had regained her flight position.
"Gahh, why that little brat!" she growled.
"Watch your tongue about my brother madam!" UlforceVeedramon shouted, as he flew up to eye level of the jet clad warrior, "However, you'll find me much more, elegant,".
"Oh gee, how nice," JetSilphymon groaned sarcastically, "You're still a threat to the digital world!".
"In your eyes perhaps?" UlforceVeedramon said, rather nobly as he drew his laser sword, "Nonetheless, I hope your ready madam!" he then dashed at near light speed at the wind fusion.
JetSilphymon clutched her pinwheel and dashed at the dragon.
Meanwhile, the 5 former evil warriors were clashing with the three remaining knights.
"Come at me you pitiful whelps!" Craniamon taunted.
"Ok, but no regret it!" Grumblemon said as he leaped forward and tried to smash the knight with his hammer.
But Craniamon blocked it with his arm shield, "Hah, pitiful mole!" he laughed, before force the earth warrior back, "How weak!".
"Gaahh, grrrr, me no weak!" Grumblemon yelled, before digging into the ground.
"Hey lay off my pal yah susa freak, right!" Arbormon shouted, before his mouth opened, "Blockade Seed!" He then fired a seed at the skull-faced knight, which soon exploded into vines.
But Craniamon just scoffed, as he spun his spear and effortlessly sliced up the attack.
"Hah, is that all?" he mocked, before noticing the robot's choice of words, "Susa, what moronic mindset would give you that sort of insult?".
"Well, I sort of heard something like dat from a dino dat mentioned you, right?" Arbormon explained.
"Ah, so you've encountered my servants," Craniamon said, before pointing his sphere forward, "Tell me wooden one, what else do you know?".
"Well, I's know that big surprises come in small packages, yah understand?" Arbormon said, rather slyly.
"Hmm?".
Suddenly Grumblemon leaped out of the ground, "Rahh, Seismic Sledge!" He then slammed his hammer onto the knight's head. The weapon impacted with a loud bang, but Craniamon didn't react.
"Huh?".
"Hmph, trickery, how pathetic!" the knight scoffed, before grabbing the hammer, and slamming it and the earth warrior into the ground, near Arbormon.
"Waahhh!" Grumblemon screamed, as he hit the ground, "Ow,".
"Grumble!" Arbormon cried with concern.
"Hah, only weak warriors result to such vile tactics!" Craniamon scolded arrogantly, "For they have no real power!"
"Weak!?" Grumblemon shouted, annoyed as he got up from the ground, "Me no weak, me mighty warrior of earth!".
"Hmph, tis means nothing to a royal knight!" Craniamon gloated, before spinning his spear above him, "Waltz's End!" he then created a giant tornado around himself that then forced back the two warriors.
"Aaaaahhh!" they both screamed, as they were sent flying.
Meanwhile, the others were also struggling against Leopardmon.
"Dark Vapor!" Ranamon shouted as she fired a dark beam at the lioness knight.
"Shadow Meteor!" Loweemon added to the assault with a dark energy ball from his lion chest.
But Leopardmon just leaped into the air, effortlessly dodging the attacks.
"Extinction Wave!" Leopardmon then slashed a sword beam at the heroes.
But before it hit, Mercurymon appeared in front of them and blocked the beam with his shields.
"Dark Reflection!" he then bounced the attack back at the knight.
However, Leopardmon quickly twisted their body like a gymnast and leaped over the attack, ending up over and behind the heroes.
Leopardmon then pointed the tip of their sword forward, "Black Aura Blast!" The knight then fired a black beam at the heroes, exploding upon impact and knocking them aside.
"Whaaa!" they all screamed, before hitting the ground.
"A fine attempt at strategy," Leopardmon arrogantly stated, as they landed on the ground, "But tis nothing compared to my clever planning and reactions,"
"How did they-?" Loweemon tried to say.
But then the warriors of earth and wood were tossed into the heroes.
"Gah!" Grumblemon cried.
"Ouch, right?" Arbromon added as he hit.
"Hahahah, is this all the Cherubimon's warriors can muster?" Crainamon taunted, "No one wonder he was so easily beaten!".
This hit a nerve with the once evil Digimons.
"You keep our creator's name out of thy filthy mouths!" Mercurymon shouted.
"Yeah, you stupid knights no nothing about Cherubimon!" Grumblemon yelled.
"Right!" Arbormon added, just as mad.
"He may be gone, but he's still way nicer than any of you posers!" Ranamon added.
"Hah, I'm sure you'll soon find that we are the real deal, foolish fools," Leopardmon stated.
"Truly Leopardmon, for now we smite thy ingrates!" Craniamon shouted, before attempting to slam his spear onto the heroes.
But Loweemon quickly blocked it with his lion shield.
"These guys aren't holding back!" Loweemon shouted, "We got to turn up our power and win for the memory of Cherubimon!".
"Yeah, we get them good with beast spirits!" Grumblemon agreed.
"Right!" Arbormon added.
The five were then surrounded in Fractal code.
The beast spirit of Darkness then roared "Execute, beast spirit evolution!" Loweemon then transformed into his beast form. He was covered in Darkness, as the black armored lion glowed, "JagerLoweemon!" he roared.
The beast spirit of earth roared as the evolution began. Grumblemon's muscles became as hard as ground as they began to grow to giant sizes as his armor broke away as the earth giant formed. He then landed on the ground, shattering it, as he got up and punched his fist together, for he was now, "Gigasmon!".
The beast spirit of wood roared, as Arbormon appeared in the digivolution zone, "Execute, beast spirit evolution!" The robot then turned black as his eyes glowed and the armor of bushy trees, red leaf main and feet, and a twin root tail appeared and slowly pressed onto the robot. The wood armor then exploded as the forest covered reptile emerged.
The large lizard then landed onto the pedestal, before standing on his hind legs and roaring, "Petaldramon!".
The beast spirit of water roared as the evolution began. Ranamon's skin turned white, while messy purple hair grew, before a squid emerged from below and grabbed the water warrior with all its tentacles like a mouth. The tentacles then fell down dead, revealing the squid armored sea hag.
"Calmaramon!" she screeched.
The beast spirit of steel roared as the evolution began. Mecurymon appeared and soon the screen zoomed on to his lips. He then smiled as his face seamlessly became that of a green ball with giant lips. The screen then zoomed out to reveal the contourted bundle of blobs that soon straightened out and proclaimed itself,
"Sephirothmon!".
With the five former evil warriors evolved to their beast spirits, the Digimon began their counter attack.
Calmaramon then tackled Craniamon away, with JagerLoweemon following. Leopardmon tried to give chase, but was stopped by the earth and wood beast.
"Thou shall be powerless before my strength!" Sephirothmon laughed, before attempting to attack.
But suddenly, the largest royal knight appeared and grabbed the spherical beast spirit.
"Grrrrrr, I don't think so!" Examon growled, before spinning the steel beast around and flinging him into the air, "I was waiting for this, begone!"
"Waaa, waahh, waaaaaaaahhh!" Sephirothmon screamed as he flew into the dark sky.
Eventually, he was able to regain form. Unfortunately, the red lance wielding dragon had followed him into the sky.
"If you're really the strongest, then face my lance!" Examon roared, before charging forward.
Back on the ground,
The wood and earth beast were clashing with the feline themed knight. Trying to smash the royal knight but were unable to match the leopard's evasion. However, eventually they started to catch up.
"Tectonic Slam!" Gigasmon shouted as he slammed the ground around the knights.
Leopardmon tried to jump away, but the wood beast was ready to stop them.
"Torn Jab!" Petaldramon shouted as he dug his tails into the ground, causing the roots to grab the knight and bring them down.
"Augh!" Leopardmon cried, as the earthquake struck.
"Got you stupid knight good!" Gigasmon celebrated.
"How yous like dat, right!?" Petaldramon cheered.
"You no match for our beast spirits!" Gigasmon said, before noticing that the knight seemed to be giggling, "Huh, why you think funny?".
"Hmhmhm, not bad, but oh how foolish to think you have won," Leopardmon chuckled, "For a true strategist is always prepared to, adapt!".
Then to the heroes' shock, fractal code began to surround the royal knight.
"Leopardmon, slide evolution!" they then morphed into a more leopard mode on all fours and more beast-like, "Leopard mode!" The royal knight proclaimed, their voice becoming more masculine and intense.
"Huh, how can they have beast mode!?" Gigasmon gasped.
"Right?" Petaldramon added.
"Hahah, now feel my might!" Leopardmon roared, before jumping into the air, "Vulcan Crusher!" The lion-like beast then slammed its paws into the ground, sending a giant rock wave of bedrock at the heroes.
The attack forced them back greatly, as it slammed the towers of bedrock into them.
"Gahhh!" Gigasmon screamed in pain
"Yaaahhh!" Petaldramon screamed in just as much pain, as they went flying.
But the knight's assault wasn't finished, as the armored feline flicked its tail.
"Eroberung!" Leopardmon shouted, as they summoned globe shaped mines from the orb on its tail, sending them to where the heroes were failing.
The duo crashed onto a mine, before being knocked into another, then another.
"Ow, oooww, ouch, right!" They screamed in pain, before eventually crashing onto the ground, bruised and burnt.
Leoparmon then leaped onto the earth beast, pressing onto him with their sharp claws, proudly growling with delight.
"Ahhhh!" Gigasmon cried in pain.
"Gah, get off of him, right!" Petaldramon shouted, before trying to lunge at the feline knight.
But then, Leopardmon leaped into the air.
"Your thoughtless power," they spoke before the leopard was involved in fractal code, "Slide Evolution!" they said as their voice became more feminine, as they returned the more humanoid form, "Will never protect thy comrades!".
"Wha?" Petaldramon said, confused as he looked up at the knight.
"Black Aura Blast!" Leopardmon then shot an explosive laser blast at the lizard, forcing him down onto the earth beast, before exploding with great force, damaging both Digimon greatly.
Elsewhere,
The trio of thunder, wind, and ice weren't fairing much better against their royal opponents.
UlforceVeedramon and JetSilphymon continued to clash in the sky. The two Digimon were locked, beam sword against pinwheel staff, struggling to overcome the other.
"Not bad," UlforceVeedramon said, "Swift and strong, but how long can you last?".
"Long enough to stop you!" JetSilphymon shouted, before jetting back, "Ultra Turbulence!" Her pinwheel then spun fast as she summoned a tornado and threw it at the blue dragon knight.
But before the windstorm could trap him, UlfroceVeedramon vanished.
"What, how did he-? JetSilphymon tried to say.
Suddenly the dragon knight appeared behind her instantly.
"Sorry, but not fast enough dear," UlforceVeedramon said, before the V on his chest began to glow, "Shining V Force!".
He then fired a bright blue laser out at the wind fusion, sending her slamming into the ground below.
"AAAAaaaahhh!" she screamed, before crashing.
"Zoe!" RhinoKabuterimon cried, looking over to the impact.
"Hey, dumb ugly bug says what?" Magnamon taunted.
"What!?" RhinoKabuterimon said, rather annoyed.
"Hahah, got you!" The younger knight mocked, before grabbing the thunder fusion's horn and lifting him up.
"Hey, quit it!" the bug shouted, briefly flailing his legs, "Can't we talk about this?!"
"Put him down!" Arcticmon shouted, as he jumped into the air ready strike with his ax blasters.
"Ugh, fine," Magnamon groaned, before he started spinning the bug around, "Here, you take him, catch!" He then tossed the thunder fusion with great force.
"Waaahh!" RhinoKabuterimon screamed, before crashing into the ice fusion.
"Wah!" Arcticmon screamed, as he and the thunder bug crashed into the ground.
"Sorry Tommy," The beetle moaned.
"Got you now!" Magnamon shouted, before leaping into the air, "Magna Blast!". He then let loose many golden orbs of energy that homed in and exploded on the downed fusions.
"AAAAhhhh!" they screamed in pain.
Daipengmon tried to run in to help, but soon found that they were being lifted into the air.
"Whak?" the penguin asked, before seeing that UlforceVeedramon was holding him up.
"Did you really think I'd forget you?" UlforceVeedramon asked, before tossing the giant penguin machine into the other heroes below, "Fall, for your time is over!".
The penguin crashed into the fusions with great force, hurting the heroes even more.
"Aaaaahhh!" they all cried.
This horrified the three small Digimon watching from afar.
"Oh my, this can't be happening," Bokomon gasped, as held Patamon close.
"It's going to be ok, right Papamon?" the small Digimon asked, very worried.
"I hope it will be?" Neemon said, just as scared.
Meanwhile,
The water and dark beast were taking on Craniamon.
"Have at they!" the knight taunted.
"Titanic Twist!" Calmaramon shouted, as she leaped into the air and began to twist up.
"Dark Master!" JagerLoweemon shouted, as his body glowed with darkness as he charged at the purple knight.
But then Craniamon held out his shield and easily stopped the lion effortlessly.
"What?!" the dark beast gasped.
"Pathetic!" the knight scoffed, before bashing the lion back.
"Gaahh!" the dark beast groaned in pain as landed on the ground, struggling to stand.
Craniamon then looked up at the squid, who was about to go spinning into him. As the water beast went charging at her foe, the knight began his counterattack.
"Waltz End!" Craniamon then rotated his spear in the opposite direction of the squid's twisting, creating a tornado.
The whirlwind slowed down the squid, and eventually stopped Calmaramon's attack and left her rather dizzy.
"Wha-ah-ah?" she screamed, as the eyes on her squid got just as confused with swirly eyes.
Craniamon then leaped at the water beast.
"No matter what form you take, you're still worthless!" the knight proclaimed, before stabbing her with his double-bladed spear.
"Waaaaaaahhh!" Calmaramon screamed, as pain both physically and mentally stung her.
"Get away from her!" JagerLoweemon screamed, before trying to pounce.
"Silence beast, return to the abyss of darkness where you belong!" Craniamon shouted, before he flung the squid to the ground, crashing into JagerLoweemon.
"Gahh!" they screamed.
"Hahahah, you fools cannot breach my defense!" the knight mocked.
"Worth-less?" the water Digimon thought, with great pain.
"Dark-ness?" the dark Digimon thought, worrying about his past.
Back with the fire and light warriors.
The battle had raged long and hard, and the heroes were greatly struggling against the two knights. Even in their strongest forms could hardly keep up with the knights power and speed.
EmperorGreymon jumped to the sky to face Dynasmon, while MagnaGarurumon charged forward at Crusadermon.
"Hrr, yeaaaah!" the fire Digimon yelled as he began rapidly punching the white dragon knight rapidly.
But Dynasmon blocked every blow instantly, with hardly any effort. EmperorGreymon then tried to swing his sword at the knight.
"You missed," the knight mocked, not noticing the blade was pointed at him.
"Oh, did I?" The fire warrior asked, as his blade began to glow.
"Hm?"
"DragonFire Crossbow!" EmperorGreymon then blasted the white dragon knight with his attack,
"Grhf!" Dynasmon groaned, as he went crashing to the ground covered in a blaze of fire.
Meanwhile, MagnaGarurumon dashed against Crusadermon.
"Magna Missiles!" he shouted, before firing many missiles at the graceful knight.
But Crusadermon blocked them with her shield. However this was merely a distraction, which was soon followed by the light warrior flying right at the knight at Mach speed.
"Starburst Hunter!" MagnaGarurumon shouted, as he accelerated and crashed into the knight.
"Ugh!" Crusadermon groaned, as she was knocked into the flames her comrade Dynasmon was in.
"That should do it!" MagnaGarurumon said, as he landed on the ground after his armor had purged.
"We got them!" EmperorGreymon cheered.
However, despite how intense things looked, the knights were unfazed by the attacks.
"Hahahah, is there a draft?" They laughed with arrogance at the assault, before taking to the skies once more, "That tickled!"
"What?" EmperorGreymon gasped.
"How can they be this strong?" MagnaGarurumon added, just as befuddled.
"Dragon's Roar!" Dynasmon shouted, as he charged up energy in his palms.
"Fist of Athena!" Crusadermon proclaimed, as her shield arm glowed.
As the two knights charged at the transcendent Digimon, the two heroes were left dumbfounded.
"They're so fast?!" EmperorGreymon gasped.
"Unreal!?" MagnaGarurumon added.
Then before the heroes could even blink, the knights began pelting them with rapid blows if their attacks, with powerful and bizarrely fast speeds. The attacks even broke through remainder of MagnaGarurumon's armor with ease.
The two knights then halted their assault, before unleashing more attacks.
"Spiral Masquerade!" Crusadermon shouted, as her four ribbon like blades slashed the heroes.
"Ahhhh!" they screamed as the assault trapped them in a storm of slashes.
"Your time is up, begone!" Dynasmon proclaimed as he grabbed his fist together and slammed the two heroes into the ground.
"Whaaa!" they screamed as they crashed in the hard dark earth.
"Hahahahahah!" The two knights laughed, as they flouted arrogantly.
Meanwhile, in the skies.
The steel beast clashed with the largest knight Examon in the darkened skies.
Sephirothmon had been firing barrages of the different element attacks at the dragon. But Examon kept flying closer as the attacks pelted him.
"Grrr, Atomic Inferno reflection!" Sephirothmon shouted before firing his strongest recorded attack.
"Rarrrrrrr," Examon groaned, though with more annoyance than pain.
The attack had slowly started to force the dragoon back.
"Haha, did'st thou really think thou could'ith outwit me!?" Sephirothmon taunted, before unleashing all his elemental attacks on the red dragon.
But suddenly, the royal knight dragon quickly dodged the assault and was now flying high above the steel beast.
"Grr, arrogance, is your downfall metal one!" Examon growled, as his spear began to charge with energy, "Pendragon's Glory!" The dragon then fired a giant blue orb of energy, that was so huge it covered the entire steel beast.
"Gahh, what power, be'ith this?" Sephirothmon cried, being unable to absorb the powerful attack.
"It is the might of a true dragon!" Examon roared, now behind the steel beast, readying his lance, "Dragonic Impact!" The dragon then charged forward, glowing with power.
He then stabbed his mighty lance right through Sephirothmon's dark sphere.
"Gaaaaaahhhhh!" Sephirothmon screamed in pain, "Im-possible, how could-, nooooooooooooo!?".
Examon then pulled out his lance and flew back, laughing at his apparent victory, "Hrahahahrah, I win!".
The steel beast began to fade to black, as its fractal-
OH no, no, noooo! I'm still in this dude, so not today great durgen!
Reality flicked sporadically, before the steel beast returned to his humanoid form.
Mercurymon then crashed onto the ground, exhausted from the great stabbing.
"E'gads, how can'ith one Digimon possess so much power?" Mercurymon groaned in pain, his face slightly cracked as he struggled to stand up.
Soon many of the other warriors were forced down near the steel warrior, just as beaten and bruised by the knights. Only the two transcendent warriors seemed to be standing, but just barely.
"This, can't be happening?" RhinoKabuterimon moaned in pain.
"There, too, strong?" Calmaramon cried.
"Noo," Articmon moaned, alongside Daipengmon.
"Hahahah, how nice of you to bow before true power!" Examon laughed as he descended.
The other knights soon followed, gathering around the barely standing Digimon.
"It seems they do have some manners, hah!" Crusadermon joked.
"Even if it is to a lousy beast!" Magnamon taunted.
"Why you annoying little brat!" Examon growled.
"We, not done, yet!" Gigasmon struggled to say.
"We have, to win?" JetSilphymon groaned, as she tried to stand.
"For the, digital, world?" Jagerlowee sighed.
"R-right?" Petaldramon tried to add.
"Be quiet, fool!" Dynasmon scorned, before sending a huge energy attack at the warriors.
The attack exploded with great force, engulfing every one of the heroes, even their smaller Digimon friends.
When the dust settled, the beaten and battered heroes laid in pain covered in dust from the land, their fractal code showing. Even the humans that had been forced out of their Digimon forms had code circling their bodies, except for Koichi for some reason. While the transcendent Digimon of fire and light were still there, they were in hardly any shape to fight more.
"Guys, nooo!" the two remaining heroes cried.
"Human data is exquisitely beautiful!" Crusadermon proclaimed as she gazed upon the fractal code, "I had no idea?".
Dynasmon then landed next to his partner in divine crime.
"So, we can even turn humans to data?" he smugly proclaimed.
"Allow me to scan it right out of them?" Crusadermon asked.
"As you wish," Dynasmon said, to which the pink knight began to approach.
"Why does she get to do it!" Magnamon whined.
"Because she asked, you ignorant twit!" Dynasmon groaned.
"But I want to do it!" the golden armored Digimon pouted.
"Then ask politely next time!" Leopardmon groaned, annoyed by the childishness of her comrade, "You can at least have the data of the Digimon?".
"But that's boring!" Magnamon complained.
"Guys you got to wake up!" Koichi desperately pleaded, as he tried to get the others to move.
But the others were simply too beaten to move.
As the knights approached their prey, the remaining two warriors stood in their way.
"Oh, not you again!" Crusadermon scoffed with annoyance.
"It's not over yet!" MagnaGarurumon shouted, despite being scratched and unarmored.
"You've got to go through us!" EmperorGreymon added, as the two made a fighting stance.
"How brave and noble you are," Crusadermon mocked with sarcasm and boredom.
"Yet utterly foolish and reckless!" Craniamon scoffed.
"I think we already went through you," Dyansmon added, with slight annoyance.
"We won't let you hurt our friends!" EmperoreGreymon proclaimed.
"We'll defeat all of you to save them and the world!" MagnaGarurumon added triumphantly.
"You defeat us, you absolute fools, hahaaha!" Dynasmon laughed as he began to twitch with energy, "Heheheh, hahahahahahah!"
"Hmm, wait," Leopardmon said, sounding alert, "Dynasmon!".
Suddenly Dynasmon opened his mouth and let out a roar.
As this happened, UlforceVeedramon quickly got in front of his younger brother, in a protective stance.
"Control thyself!" Craniamon shouted.
"Breath of Wyvern!" Dynasmon yelled.
"No, Dynasmon, stop!" Crusadermon pleaded, as the energy erupted.
The dragon knight glowed greatly, as a giant dragon of white energy emerged from him, even bigger than Cherubimon. The energy monster roared as it grew bigger. It then charged into the heroes headfirst, causing a giant explosion!
"Aaaaaaaaaahhhhh!" They all screamed as they were sent flying into the sky, the humans and the four Digimon separating as they went higher and higher.
"Dynasmon what are you doing!?" Crusadermon shouted with fear and worry, "Don't you realize, everything will disappear, everything!"
"Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhh!" all of the heroes screamed, as they were sent further and further into the sky.
When the explosion faded, the knights saw that the heroes had been blasted away. Barley seeing the even more fractured world they were leaving behind.
"What, they're gone!?" Magnamon shouted, "How hard did you hit them, you big dummy!?".
"Ugh, Dynasmon you fool!" UlforceVeedramon shouted, rather mad, "You blasted them off the Digital World with your lack of control!".
"Bah, those fools are gone now!" Dynasmon arrogantly scoffed, though seeming lower on energy than before. "So I hardly see the problem with my methods,".
"Besides, we are still here," Crusadermon added, seeming to have calmed down after seeing the white knight was ok "So it's hardly a problem, I suppose?".
"Unfortunately, there is still a problem," Leopardmon stated, "They are not forgotten nor truly gone from this world,".
"Indeed, for they still breath, and thus may become a nuisance later," Craniamon pointed out.
"Fair point, very well," Dynasmon said, before looking towards the big dragon, "Examon, head to the atmosphere to make sure they are dealt with!".
"What, why must I do it!?" Examon shouted, rather offended, "It's your fault for overdoing it!".
"Don't talk back, beast!" Dynasmon snapped back, "We may both be draconic, but I am far greater than your beastly might!".
"Grrrrrr, I am no mere beast!" Examon growled.
"Just do as you're told!" Crusadermon scolded.
"Besides, only you are powerful enough to search the outer areas of the Digital World, which they may have landed on?" Leopardmon explained, "So it's simply the best choice to send you for this task,".
"Grrr, fine!" Examon said, before taking flight into the sky towards the moons. But not before glaring towards Leopardmon and growling "Halfling,".
This slightly confused the leopard knight, but not enough that they would worry.
"Will try to save some of the world for you to destroy haha," Magnamon mocked.
The red dragon just groaned as left.
But as this happened, the dark ruler of the knights watched from the core of the world.
"Hurry my Royal Knights," Lucemon said, his voice tired and haunting with childish pride. "The data, bring me the data, all of it, now!"
Narrator Rika: Man, our heroes' fate is pretty much up in the air. Find out where they'll land on the next Digimon Frontier

Narrator Rika: Huh, I guess even he's out cold too?
Scutlemon: Purification Redemption!
Narrator Rika: Wait, where did you come from?
Treblemon: Over here!
Scutlemon: Ok what the heck just happened!?
Treblemon: Not sure, we've been gone so long I was having trouble focusing, arf?
Corlamon: Yeah, sorry this took so long everyone. There was a lot going on our boss's life so it kind of distracted from the story, like a lot.
Scutlemon: I hope he's ok, we really got to find him.
Treblemon: Absolutly, arf!
Corlamon: Wait, I think I'm getting a message from Ben!
Scutlemon: Really? Quick, plug it into that conveniently placed TV monitor!

Hey everyone. First let me say I am so so soooooooo sorry for taking so long with this. I've wanted to get back to this for months, but life was being pretty nasty. From me having to figure out how to pay for insurance, to getting over my negativity addiction (Do not obsess to opinions on Youtube it will rot your brain!), as well as general burn out. Well all that, and I've been slighlty dreading this chapter a bit for, obvious reasons. Did not think Lucemon would spite me this much grrrrrrrr. That and I wanted to get most of the next chapter done so there won't be too much of a cliff hanger.
However, I am feeling much better and creative so I should hopefully be able to get back to working on these things more. I even got a lot of the next chapter written so hopefully it won't ever be as long a wait as this one was. Sorry again.
Anycase, thank again so much to anyone still reading. I so thankfully others care about Frontier like me and won't to see the story get the ending it deserves. So for anyone still reading, please let me know with a review so I know your still there and I can keep creating more stories for you!
Though with how screwy has been acting lately (Emails don't even work anymore!), I am wondering if I should consider posting this story on other websites as well.
