No Such Luck…or Destiny's Deceit?

Ch 5 Pt I: Lincoln's Outburst

Today was another day, Lincoln got up from his makeshift 'bed' and went to the bathroom to freshen up, he then changed into his trademark clothes, and went downstairs to eat breakfast only to see that 'she' was at the table with a shocked look on her face.

"Lincoln! Wear your suit or something bad might happen!" Lynn Jr. screamed.

"Yeah, a bird might come and take our food, or someone will get hot sauce in their eyes—" Lana said when she was interrupted.

"SILENCE!" Lynn Sr. yelled at his two daughters. This got them to shut their asses up and continue eating.

"Sorry about your sisters, honey…" Rita pardoned Lincoln.

"It's fine, Mom, they're just like that." Lincoln told his mother.

The family kept eating, and when they finished, they put their dishes in the sink. They prepared for the events that will happen today, which is Lori's golf competition, Lola's pageants, Luan's stand-up performances, Lynn Jr.'s games, and lastly, Luna's concert at 7:00 PM sharp.

At Lori's golf tournament, everything turned out…fine (well, not really). Before the ball hit its target, it hit two trees and careened off a wasp's nest. To the annoyance of the insects, they tried to find who destroyed their house, and when they saw Lincoln in the squirrel suit, the wasps perceived him as a bigger threat to their colony.

As such, the swarm of wasps attacked Lincoln. The poor boy flailed around in a faint attempt to shoo the insects away, when his father came and shooed the wasps away, leaving them to look for another house.

The ball hit its target, and everyone cheered for her.

During Lola's pageants, everyone laughed at Lincoln's costume. Trust me, it is embarrassing to have that suit on for Lincoln, but what if the springs of your seat were faulty?

This sent the 11-year-old Loud flying into the ceiling, making the audience howl in laughter. Lynn Sr. helped his son down, and found him a seat that is not faulty.

When Lola finished her pageant, everyone cheered and clapped their hands for her wonderful performance. This earned Lola the 'Little Miss Perfect' sash as her friends cheered for her.

At Luan's stand-up performance, while Luan was performing tricks for the children, she accidentally hit some of the bowling pins but thankfully she didn't fall from the stage.

The bowling pins hit Lincoln's head, face, and cheeks, earning him bruises on each affected area.

The children applauded her for her performance, as they headed to Lynn Jr.'s games.

During the game, Lincoln earned a few fly-balls to the chest and back due to Lynn Jr. not making an effort to swing the ball. The sporty Loud managed to hit the ball twice, earning two points for her team. It went on until, the other team lost and Lynn Jr.'s team won.

Lynn Sr. called out. "Hey, son?"

"What is it, Dad?" Lincoln asked.

"I wanted to apologize for…forcing you out of the house, and telling you to go farther away from the house…I hope you forgive me and your mother, I feel like a total asshole for decidin' to go along with the idea of removing you from the premises…" Lynn Sr. said.

"Of course, I forgive you, Mom and Dad!" Lincoln smiled as he gave his father a tight hug.

The Loud parents returned the hug. "Thank you so much, Lincoln…" Rita thought, while a tear formed in the corner of her eye.

At Luna's concert, things are perfectly fine until a drunk man mistakes Lincoln in the squirrel suit for a walking sex doll. He tried to hit the 11-year-old when his dad led him outside to the cops, arresting him and getting his fat ass squatting in prison.

The next day at school…

Lincoln was in the lockers as he was scouting his locker for the books he needed for class. Hearing four pairs of feet coming up to him, he turned his head to meet a group of four teenagers who wore the masks of four characters from the Freddy Fazbear franchise.

"Yo lil' bro, wassup?" Michael greeted.

"Oh, hey guys…" Lincoln said as he took off his suit. "What are you doing here?"

He felt like something was thrown behind him, and when he picked it up, it was an oak nut. Turning their heads, they saw Chandler and his comrades laughing their fucking asses off at Lincoln.

"What are you going to do, Squirrel Boy?" Dave mocked.

"You might as well crack it open with your chipped tooth!" Gerald said as he gave Chandler a high-five and left off while laughing.

Lincoln raises his middle finger at Chandler and his friends as they gradually disappear down the halls.

"Ignore them, Lincoln..." Robert said.

During class, students have to suffer being enclosed in their classroom while the teacher explains the basics of each subject, Mathematics, Language Arts, Social Science, and Biological Science. They would like to quit school, but they have to live with it their entire life through adulthood. Education is vital to a lot of humans today, talk about the poor people on the streets, their children did not get a proper education, and was never given food or water.

Unless they want to live in poverty when they grow up, they need to stick to studying each subject in school. The same goes for your periodic examination, you need to get a score of 90 to 100, a score of 80 is good, but a score of 75 and below? They would never get a job with that grade, and that's why they resort to living on the streets begging and asking for money.

A massive amount of people commit suicide because they never spent time with their family and friends, or were never given love and attention from their parents. That's what Lincoln is going through right now, he was given love by his parents but is framed by his sisters as bad luck.

Lunch time…

The students hurried to the cafeteria to get their 'well-deserved' break, Lincoln sat near Clyde, then Cassidy and Ronalda followed suit.

"What is with the irritated face, Lincoln?" Clyde asked.

"Something associated with my 'sisters'…" Lincoln said, his tone sprinkled with venom.

"What does this have to do with them?" Cassidy asked.

"Easy, my athlete of a sister considered me as bad luck when she lost her game. Lynn added more fuel to the fire by spreading the 'bad luck' lie to all of my family members. It eventually got to the point where I was deprived of my own space, which caused me to sleep outside. My family locked me out and told me not to go to the beach." The 11-year-old Loud narrated.

"That is so low of your family to do that, kicking out their own flesh and blood?" Ronalda said in Spanish.

"I already forgave my parents…" Lincoln said. "They regretted it and apologized to me." He smiled.

"That's nice…" The Latina said in her native tongue. "Does the same go for your sisters?"

"No…" Lincoln said.

They finished eating, and they went outside to the hallway.

In the hallway…

"Your sister is stupid, why would she ever put the blame on you for losing her game?" Cassidy asked.

"You're right, Cassie, Lynn is stupid. She believes in everything related to luck, but contrary to popular belief, luck, does not exist!" Lincoln said.

"It is her responsabilidad to lose her softbol juego, she just didn't put too much effort into throwing the ball." Ronalda said.

"Guys?" Charlotte said as she approached the four preteens. "What are you talking about?" Asked the 14-year-old.

"Yeah, what is it?" Sammy asked.

"Err, there's nothing to see here, guys." Lincoln said as he told the two siblings. "Go away." He commanded.

The siblings went away, and the four friends continued talking.

"Anyways, back to what we're talking about…" Clyde said as he cleared his throat. "Why didn't you just ask Lynn to give you some free time?"

"I tried to ask her to give me some free time, and I came up with a specific reason for that. She threatened to hit me with a bat for me to change my mind!" Lincoln answered.

"Excuse me? Your sister did WHAT?" Ronalda asked in her native tongue.

"I got the same question from one of Michael's friends a few days ago…" He thought. "Geez, Ronnie Anne, take a chill pill…"

"Hey guys!" Robert greeted the four as he and his friends walk up to them.

"Oh my Gosh!" Clyde jumped in fear. "You scared me, Robert!"

"Hey, what's up?" Stephanie greeted. "What are you talking about by the way?"

"The 'bad luck' mishap that occurred at Lincoln's house a couple weeks ago." Cassidy answered.

"Actually…we already talked about that a few days ago on Thursday." Michael said, remembering the time Lincoln vented out his frustration through swearing.

Home time…

Lincoln was walking to the entrance, irritated by what the hell had transpired in his house after 'she' forced him to go to her one softball game, and blames him for her misfortune.

He got on the bus, along with the other students. The 11-year-old Loud decided to get lost in his thoughts, thinking about what happened recently.

When he arrived at his house, he got out of the school service vehicle and walked up to the residence. He knew what will happen inside, since his costume was thrown away by Stephanie in the dump last time due to how she hated seeing him wearing that piece of shit for the sake of good luck. He prepared himself to get pelted on by so many questions, as he got inside.

Inside…

"Lincoln?" Lola asked. "Don't you think you're missing something?"

"Like…what?" The 11-year-old spoke.

"Your costume. Haven't you been wearing it since last morning?" Lori asked, a bit disinterested as she turned her central focus to her phone.

Lincoln chuckled. "Funny thing about it, Stephanie 'threw' it away in a dumpster." Sarcasm was evident when he said the word 'threw'.

"STEPHANIE THREW IT AWAY?! WHAT DO YOU MEAN BY THAT, HUH?!" The so-called princess asked as she pulled her brother's collar. "DOES SHE WANT US TO GET BAD LUCK AGAIN?! OR DOES SHE WANT YOU TO KEEP ALL THE LUCK FOR YOURSELF, HUH?!"

This made Lola lose her nerve as she was hoisted up by her collar, staring at her brother's enraged eyes.

"NO LOLA!" Lincoln yelled. "STEPHANIE ASKED ME IF SHE CAN THROW THAT FUCKING SUIT AWAY, I NODDED A 'YES' IN RESPONSE, AND SHE THREW IT IN THE DUMPSTER! MICHAEL EVEN SAW PIECES OF MY FURNITURE THEN AND ASKED ME IF IT WAS MY FURNITURE, THEN I TOLD HIM THAT IT WAS! HAPPY?" Lincoln dropped Lola on her fanny.

The *not-so* princess hid behind the couch away from her enraged brother. Lori looks at him, angered. "LINCOLN, APOLOGIZE TO LOLA NOW, OR ELSE…"

"ELSE WHAT, LORI?! HUH? TURN ME INTO A HUMAN PRETZEL? WELL, HERE'S A NEWS FLASH, MICHAEL FOUND OUT ABOUT WHAT YOU GUYS DID WITH MY FURNITURE, STEPHANIE THREW THE SQUIRREL SUIT INTO A DUMPSTER, ROBERT IS VERY MAD ABOUT HOW YOU GUYS TOLD ME NOT TO GO TO THE BEACH, AND ELIJAH NOW HAS A GRIP ON THE BAD LUCK SITUATION I AM IN!" Lincoln narrated while yelling.

"MICHAEL AND HIS FRIENDS FOUND OUT?!" Lori asked, her anger shifting to constant shock. "Oh, shit…we're dead…" The 17-year-old thought.

Lynn Sr. and Rita came out of the kitchen, and looked at each other with worried looks on their faces.

Lincoln has something to tell his 'sisters' about what happened recently…
