Chapter 6: Shady Sand's

Vacuo

Wandering Vacuo really make you want an snow storm from Atlas due to how hot it is. A thought escaped from [REDACTED] or most knowingly, The Courier. He had been walking for 5 hours with only his armor and a dark hooded cloke to him, covering his red tinted lense helmets. But at least the UAC gave his armor an upgrade, having an cooling system cooling his body and removing its excess heat. But, his luck sucks and the fan broke, and he is getting thirsty so after a couple of hours, he arrives at Vacuo City and decides to rest and take a drink, but before he goes to the main entrance, he took off his helmet and put down his hood for him to cool down and entered the city

Vacuo City

Ruby Rose was just wandering in Vacuo City after her sister offered her to buy some new clothes for the two when she accidentaly trip to someone while she wasn't looking. Realizing of what she had done, she apologizes to the guy, the guy also apologized for not looking what direction he was looking. When Ruby saw the man's face, she jumped a bit due to how his face has a long scar ranging from the mouth to his left eye. She also looked at the man's weapons and lets say, her eyes were sparkling.

A revolver with the words 'warhand' is scratched in, seemingly an old, yet reliable weapon. And a shotgun with the words 'UAC' and 'Kampfmann 650' which is weird to see a company with its names like that. And most notably, a rifle like weapon that looks like atlas and a weird rectangular barrel, made her lose it.

"Woah, is that Atlas' new weaponry?!" "Um... no, it is made by the uac." " Does it use Dust?" "No, we dont use dust to power this gun." " Then what is that then?" "Classified." "What you mean classified?" "Cant ma'am, too fragile for the public to hear." But wh-" "Would you look at the time, im late for the meeting, guess im going to not see you later." "Hey, might meet again, maybe."

As the man left, her older sister, Yang Xiao Long, called her.

"Ruby!" "Oh hey Yang!" "Where have you been? Me and Uncle Qrow are waiting on the appartment waiting for you." "Sorry Sis, just got distracted." "By who? That man in a cloak?" "Uh yeah, got tripped and accidentaly stumble to him." " Oooo who was it?" "Don't know, but he seem battle hardened. He had a long scar on his face." "Really? Or was it his Gun you stumbled upon?" "Enough talking, Uncle Qrow might get bored on the appartment, let's go!" " Sure sis, but im still gonna question you about the man."

"Well that was something." The Courier said. "Best to do what i was doing again" and sail to the roads and found a store.

He goes to the store and as he opened the doors, it ringed, signalling the vendor that there is a customer.

"Good day mister! What can i get ya?" "Two bottles of cold water please." The vendor scrambled the store to take two plastic water bottles and put it infront of the Courier. "That'l be 20 lien.". The Courier nodded and took 20 lien from his wallet and gave it to the vendor."Thanks for your cooperation." The Courier nodded and left the place.

After sometime, the Courier asked a hotel if they had a spare room, and they answered that they have a spare room and costed 150 lien, he accepted the room and purchased it.

After opening at the designated door, the Courier took off his armor and changed to a more civillian style of remnants clothing. He took the broken Armor and took out his repair kit and disassembled the armor to repair the broken fan.

After some time, he finally finished the repair and started cleaning the room.

When he is cleaning the room, he got a text message from his col. asking if everything is working. He answered everything is good on his part and the col. said that it will be his dayout for 5 days while looking at the surroundings.

The call ended and the Courier locked the doors handle and putting on a table to safely secure it and slept.

The Courier woke up and ate his MRE's and turned on his phones song album and goes to the table and inspects his weapons

(Trumpets)~Yippe Yay(OoOh) There'll be no wedding bell'for today~

The Courier took out his Kriegerhand revolver and inspected it, its trigger is slowly worning out, best look a new spring with his scraps before it doesn't fire anymore.

~But that spurs that jingle jangle jingle(jingle jangle!)~

He then took out his Kampfmann 650, ispecting it and feeling its 3 shells left, He categorizes that it is faulty and decided to fix both the barrel and the trigger as it is now more common for it not to erupt the gunpowder.

Yang Xiao Long was just minding her own business when she suddenly heard music, classic style music, coming out from the other room, though the music is quite quiet, she at least want to know who is playing it.

Yang begins to stand up and walk to the door and opened it. She began knocking at the room originating the music and saw the door slowly open and find a guy with his face having a scar that Ruby mentioned.

"Uh... need something?" the man asked. Yang snapped back to reality and questioned the man."What music are you listening?" "Classic era music." "No, the name." " Oh, its I Don't Wanna See Tommorrow. Why are you asking?" "It seems... nostalgic. Can i know where website you took it?

"Sorry ma'am, i dont have a website to download this. But i do have the file." "Really? Can you share it to me mr..." "Courier, call me Courier." "Right so Courier, can you send me the file?" "Sure, give me a moment..."

The man took his scroll and asked her number. He then sended the file and Yang thanked the man, the man said his farewell and closed the door. Yang then goes back to her room, and listened to the music. Then Ruby opened the door and heard the music. "Nice music, whered you get it?" " The guy next door."

"Really?" "Yeah, he seems friendly, he also might be the guy that you met yesterday and saw his weapons, seems like theres another Gun Nut in town."

And done, i might be cleaning and adding more stuff here, maybe more, but shits going bad here and im bombarded with homework due to how hot it is here. Might not make new chapters this week and forgot that this fanfic exist. So im going to apologize here and there if im not going to make chapters this May.
