Resident Evil Modern Warfare II: Operation Deadbolt

Present Day
Selma Greene along with Hugo Barrera, Luke Dobbs, Amy Fang, Rupinder Kapoor, Sergei Ravenov, Krystal Miller and Soap all gathered the multiple operators for Deadbolt for a debriefing presentation with Jill taking the front row seat.
"Welcome to Operation Deadbolt. I'm Special Security Officer Selma Greene. Everyone in this room is now your new brothers and sisters in arms as we face an unholy level threat."
"28 days ago a terrorist arms dealer by the name of Viktor Zakhaev unleashed a bioweapon in Zaravan Urzikstan. Now labeled as the Exclusion Zone or EZ for short. *presses next slide* This is Jack Fletcher of Terminus Outcomes. A PMC group hired by Zakhaev to find this *presses next slide*."
"It's called Aetherium. A compound theorized to be interdimensional in nature. Turning the living and the dead into the undead. Did i get that right Ravenov?" asked Barrera.
"Da. This Aetherium comes from another plane of existencecalled The Dark Aetherand it has quickly spread across the region causing mass infection within a 100 mile radius. If not more. Deadbolt has already began their containment efforts in the EZ halting the spread from reaching outer Zaravan City limits. However inside the EZ, *presses slide* it is a different story." said Ravenov.
"That's where you all come in. Our job is to contain this ourbreak by any means necessary hense, the Deadbolt motto. Nothing gets in, nothing gets out. You'll all be working in Strike teams across the EZ completing contract objectived from us. Dobbs will have a UAV drove hovering the area 24/7 to monitor your progress. Now what are these said contract objectives? You'll be doing a wide range of tasks ranking from doing weapon stashes, bounties, cargo escorts, spore control and whatever science stuff Barerra needs you to do." said Soap.
"Thank you Sergeant" said Barrera.
"But the dead aren't the only combatants in the EZ. Terminus Outcomes have made their presence known throughout the area. Not only them, but their recently hired Warlords too. *presses slide*" said Greene.
Green then changes the slide to 4 mugshots of said Warlords.
"Legacy Baranov. Fletcher's second in command. Ari Dokkaebi. Hacker for hire with a keen mind and talent for robotics and gadgets. Doctor Sona 'Keres' Mirzoyan. A chemist who shows no remorse with testing chemical weapons onto unwilling test subjects. Full blown bioterrorist by all definition. Lastly, Rainmaker. Artillery and demolitions expert who as the name implies, loves to make it rain with mortar strikes. Higher ups want them dead or alive but ultimately that's all up to you." she explained.
Greene presses the next slide.
"The infected have taken locations and we've marked them as infested strongholds. These locations can be marked with a foul gas coming from them. Inside are the cause, cysts. If you decide to approach these infested strongholds, it is heavily advised to wear a gas mask to avoid suffocation."
Hugo presses the next slide revealing a map of the EZ itself.
"This is the EZ. If you all noticed, there's three marked zones with colors to coordinate. The outer white zone or Tier 1 is your basic zone. Not a lot of zombies but the safest. The orange zone aka Tier 2, more zombies but manageable. Especially as it's the more urban city area. Finally, the worst of them all, the red zone aka Tier 3. It is highly advised you all work together in teams on this one. The zombies are highly aggressive and we've gotten reports of super sprinters. What are super sprinters? Zombies that can sprint fast enough to close the gap between you and your gun. However to counter this, Deadbolt have placed automatic sentry turrets at hotspot locations to aid you in your Tier 3 endeavors. All you need is a sentry turret circuit, place it and let it do its job and shred the zombies into mist."
"Miller here will be your Quartermaster. She'll be the one providing you all your weapons and gear for this mission. She'll also will be holding classes on the undead enemy types should you encounter them." Greene explained.
"Each of you will deploy with a one plate armor vest and a small rucksack to carry gear and a gas mask. Standard issue. However Terminus have convoys that lead to camps and strongholds. If you're lucky, you can find better gear to increase your odds at survival. Another option is said weapons stash raid contracts. You will all be deployed in the Tier 1 zone and extracted in the Tier 1 zone. Barrera has intel that after a set amount of time, the EZ will slowly get covered in a blanket of an Aether storm. If anyone stays in the storm, you're as good as dead. No one get's left behind. Clear?" said Soap.
"Got all that? Good. No gear up and prepare to operate Strike Team." said Greene.
The operators got up and left as Soap calls over Jill.
"Valentine, you're with us."
"You'll be working closely with me Valentine. Soap and Ravenov will be your guiding eyes. I know you're an expert in this field as well. You'll be needed for sure." said Greeene.
"Happy to help" said Jill.
"First things first. We need to get you geared up. A blue top and jeans with some gloves won't be enough." said Soap.
"Excuse me? Remind me again what you're wearing?" scoffed Jill.
"The only difference is I have a tac vest. Go with Miller, she'll get you prepped for the mission." said Soap.
"Don't listen to him Jill, I'll get you all pretty to fight some zombies." said Miller.
"For now we'll start you off with one contract. Complete that and extract immediately. It'll be your boot camp training to help you learn the basics." said Greene.
Miller takes Jill to her "office" getting her suited for a tac vest with a one armor plate vest, small rucksack, gas mask, an elbow sleeve and a thigh sidearm holster.
'Welcome to my office. Anything you need, I can provide. If you ask nicely. Want some distance from that howling mob? I've got a robust selection of high powered rifles. Looking to mow them down like grass? I've got LMGs that reap what you sow. Trying to keep them out of your face? I've got shotguns that can drop a Grizzly. Keep in mind, there'll be some splash. Good luck with the stains. Hell, I could go on all day, but I'll spare you the sales pitch. You already know what you want. Mind your manners and respect the Quartermaster and she'll keep you geared up."
"Thanks." said Jill.
Jill picked out a X12 handgun and added a 33 round extended mag, suppressor and an optic sight on it.
"Sidearms expert? I like that." said Miller.
"I used to be a cop after my service in the Army." said Jill.
"Well from one service woman to another, I do hope I can provide you with everything you need." said Miller.
Jill then takes up the Lockwood 680 shotgun with a laser sight and flashlight as a backup.
"These'll do for now." said Jill.
Soap then walks in on the two to pick up Jill.
"Ready to go?"
"As I'll ever be Johnny." said Jill.
"Only LT gets to call me that."
"Okay. We'll see how long that lasts" Jill smirked.
Soap smiled back.
"Break's over Jill, Let's go"
