Faith sat at the bar in the Bronze still stinging from Mrs. Post's revelation that Buffy and the others were having secret meetings without her. She'd thought she and Buffy were starting to become friends, it hadn't occurred to her that they'd talk about her behind her back. Probably at the library right now saying...what? What a loser they thought she was? "Can't trust anyone." She muttered. "Should have learned that lesson by now." She nursed the pop she was drinking, she wasn't in the mood to go back to her crappy Spartan, as Mrs. Post called it, room with the tv that only worked half the time. At least at the Bronze there were other people, she could dance and flirt and pretend she wasn't alone for just a little while, back in that Spartan little room, she had no choice but to accept that she was all alone. They were B's friends, not hers, that was very clear. Well, at least she had a Watcher of her own again and like Diana, Mrs. Post seemed to care. Unlike Giles who was so busy cooing over every little bruise of Buffy's he'd never bothered to ask her last name. Screw the pity party, she wanted to dance! Faith shoved back from the bar and prowled like a lazy cat out to the dance floor and let the pounding music take her outside her head for awhile.

Willow refused to look at Buffy as the two walked to Crawford Mansion, it was just too much to deal with, Buffy keeping secrets, herself keeping secrets and now Buffy wishing Xander was a vampire! What the Hell kind of wish was that?

"Why wish him a vampire, Buffy?" Willow demanded. "He hates vampires, all vampires, not just Angel! And you've made him something he hates, why?"

"I don't like his attitude toward Angel! It's not Angel's fault he's a vampire, he didn't ask to be turned into one."

"Angel wasn't turned into a vampire, Buffy."

"He's a vampire, therefore he was turned into a vampire!"

"A human died and a demon took over the body. Remember what you told Ford? You die and a demon sets up shop in your old house and it walks and it talks and it remembers your life, but it's not you? Angelus moved into Angel's old house and he walks and he talks and he remembers Angel's life, but it isn't Angel. And then a curse pulled the soul from wherever it was and put it back in the body, but Angelus is still there and whether Angel is in charge or not, he's still a vampire and the soul could be lost again."

"I know it was a mistake to kiss him, Willow, you guys don't have to keep driving it home! I won't kiss him again, I promise."

"It wasn't sex that broke the curse in the first place, Buffy, it was happiness. What else could make Angel happy enough to break the curse and do you expect me to curse him again if it breaks again? After Angelus kills people again?"

"I thought you understood how much I love him, Willow." Buffy protested, hurt by Willow's attitude.

"I understand that you love Angel, Buffy. What I don't understand is your willingness to endanger people, especially unnecessarily. You had no way of knowing if he was Angel or Angelus, the soul could have been lost while he was trapped in Acathla's Hell. Last time he killed Ms. Calendar and her uncle and tortured Giles and God knows how many others. You should never have taken the chance."

"I couldn't kill him, Willow. You have no idea what it's like to stick a stake in the chest of someone you know."

"You're right, I don't, but Xander does. More than one person he personally knew actually. But you didn't need to do it yourself, you should have told Giles at the very least, he'd have taken care of it. And have you thought about your mother in all this?"

"What about her?"

"He terrorized her too, Buffy. She deserves to know what's going on in regards to him. If it had been Angelus, you left her wide open for him, again."

Buffy felt sick as she realized Willow was right, she'd left her mother vulnerable. Gods, how did she fix this, were they going to hate her forever?

"Do you hate me for not telling you?"

"I don't like that you've kept this huge secret and I don't like that you've endangered us, but I don't hate you. But if Xander dies because of you, I might just hate you."

"Funny," Buffy said softly as they approached Crawford Mansion where Angel was preparing the spell to destroy the Glove of Myneghan. "Xander told me if you die because of me, he'd kill me."

"When did he say that?" Willow asked, startled.

"When the Master's followers were trying to resurrect him."

"On, the last time you were being an Uberbitch."
