The Fairy Tail Guild Hall was buzzing with the usual chaos. Gray was arguing with Juvia about the weather, Erza was eyeing the strawberry cake with an intensity that could melt metal, and Happy was trying to convince Carla to go fishing with him (unsuccessfully, as usual). Everything was as normal as it could be in the wildest guild in Fiore.

But then, something completely unexpected happened.

"NATSU, YOU FLAME-BRAINED IDIOT!" Lucy's voice echoed through the guild hall like thunder, silencing all chatter instantly.

Everyone froze. The music stopped. Even Erza's fork, mid-air, froze in its path to her mouth. No one had ever heard Lucy yell like that before.

Natsu, who had been lounging on one of the tables, lazily eating a drumstick, jumped up, his eyes blazing with the fire that matched his temper. "WHAT DID YOU JUST CALL ME, YOU LOUDMOUTHED BLONDE?!"

Gasps erupted around the room. Some members even started muttering to each other, wondering if this was the end of the world. This was Natsu and Lucy! They never fought—well, at least not like this. Sure, they bickered, but this... this was different.

"I called you a FLAME-BRAIN! BECAUSE THAT'S WHAT YOU ARE! YOU JUST CAN'T THINK THINGS THROUGH, CAN YOU?!" Lucy's face was bright red, her fists clenched at her sides. She looked like she was about to explode.

"OH, I'M THE ONE WHO DOESN'T THINK?! WHO WAS IT THAT DROPPED MY DRAGON SCALE SCARF INTO THE TOILET THIS MORNING?!" Natsu roared back, his fists also clenched as he stomped closer to her.

"IT WAS AN ACCIDENT! YOU LEFT IT ON THE FLOOR!" Lucy shot back, not backing down.

"WHY WERE YOU EVEN IN MY ROOM?!" Natsu's face was inches from Lucy's now, his breath hot and smoky.

"BECAUSE YOUR ROOM IS A PIGSTY, NATSU! YOU'VE BEEN LIVING LIKE AN ANIMAL SINCE FOREVER!" Lucy countered, her eyes blazing with fury.

The guild members exchanged worried glances. This was getting serious.

"YOU DON'T GET TO TELL ME HOW TO LIVE, LUCY!" Natsu shouted, his voice shaking the rafters.

"I WOULDN'T HAVE TO IF YOU WEREN'T SUCH A SLOPPY, IRRESPONSIBLE, FIRE-OBSESSED MAN-CHILD!" Lucy yelled back, her voice cracking with the intensity of her anger.

There was a stunned silence in the guild. Not a single person dared to breathe too loudly. Even Gildarts, who had just strolled into the guild, paused mid-step, eyes wide.

"Natsu and Lucy are fighting?" Cana whispered, taking a long swig from her barrel of ale. "This must be the apocalypse."

"Should we... do something?" Levy asked, her voice tinged with panic.

"No way! This is better than any drama I've read!" Mira said, her eyes sparkling with excitement as she leaned over the bar, completely engrossed.

"Guys," Gray said cautiously, "maybe we should—"

But before Gray could finish his sentence, Happy floated over, eyes wide with panic. "Aye, Lucy! Natsu! Stop fighting! You're supposed to be best friends!"

Natsu and Lucy both turned to glare at Happy, their combined fury enough to make the Exceed back up in terror.

"NATSU!" Lucy shouted, pointing a trembling finger at him, "YOU'RE IMPOSSIBLE!"

"AND YOU'RE A BOSSY NAG, LUCY!" Natsu retorted.

Suddenly, they both paused, panting and glaring at each other. The entire guild held its breath. Was this it? Were Natsu and Lucy about to break up their team for good? Was Fairy Tail going to lose its most beloved duo?

But then, something shifted. Natsu's expression softened a bit, the fiery anger in his eyes flickering out like a dying ember. Lucy's clenched fists relaxed, and the redness in her face started to fade.

"You're... really mad about the scarf?" Lucy asked, her voice suddenly small, almost vulnerable.

Natsu blinked, looking a bit sheepish now. "Well... yeah. It was a gift from Igneel. But I didn't mean to blow up at you."

Lucy sighed, her shoulders slumping. "I'm sorry too. I shouldn't have yelled like that. I just get so frustrated when you don't take care of your stuff."

Natsu scratched the back of his head, grinning awkwardly. "Yeah, I guess I can be a bit of a flame-brain sometimes."

Lucy smiled weakly, nodding. "And maybe I can be a bit... naggy."

"Just a bit," Natsu teased, the corners of his mouth twitching up into a smile.

There was a moment of silence before Lucy and Natsu both burst out laughing. The tension melted away, and the guild let out a collective sigh of relief.

"They're not going to kill each other," Juvia whispered to Gray, who nodded, wiping sweat from his brow.

Erza finally resumed her fork's journey, happily taking a bite of her cake. "Well, that was... entertaining."

Mira pouted. "Aww, I thought it was going to get even juicier!"

"Yeah, no kidding," Gajeel muttered, looking disappointed as he leaned back in his chair.

As the laughter died down, Natsu and Lucy looked around at their guildmates, who were all still staring at them as if they had just performed some kind of miracle.

"What?" Natsu asked, scratching his head in confusion.

"Why's everyone looking at us like that?" Lucy added, her cheeks turning a bit pink.

"We... we thought you two were going to destroy the guild," Gray said, still looking a bit wary.

"Destroy the guild?" Natsu repeated, incredulous.

Lucy burst out laughing again. "Come on, guys, it's just us!"

"Yeah, we fight all the time!" Natsu added with a grin. "Well, not like that, but still."

"THAT'S NOT NORMAL!" the entire guild yelled back in unison.

Lucy and Natsu looked at each other, then back at the guild, and shrugged. "Guess it is for us," they said together, earning a round of exasperated groans and laughter from their friends.

Happy, now feeling much safer, flew back over and landed on Natsu's head. "Aye, you guys scared me! Don't do that again!"

"No promises," Lucy said with a wink.

As the guild hall slowly returned to its usual chaos, Natsu and Lucy sat back down, smiling at each other. It might have been the end of the world for a moment, but for Natsu and Lucy, it was just another day in Fairy Tail.

Heya!

if you haven't noticed I'm pretty obsessed with the scenario of Natsu and Lucy fighting and it being world-ending, so you all will see a bunch of stories like this.

Hopefully, they are entertaining enough to be read .
