The Spectrum Wars: Orange of Greed:
Planet, Ysmault.
A planet where the Red Lanterns resides. The rivers and lakes are crimson blood, as the ground feels like bones.
Looking up at the dark, nightly sky of it's two moons, was the red lantern Razer, a former soldier of the planet Volkreg, until he lost his wife, Ilana during a civil war. The young Red Lantern serves for the Corps in order to vanquish his enemies, but he wonder if it's all worth it?
"Razer." whispered Bleez, a bat-like woman who is known as the angel of the Red Lanterns of Havania. All she have are her boned wings as she flew towards her fellow Red Lantern. "Atrocious is back with that pitiful scrawny human, Adonis. As of now, he's torturing him for his incompetence and failures." she chuckled as she smirk. "Care to watch?"
"I'm not interested, Bleez." Razer told her as he looks at the river of blood.
"Come now, Atrocious is giving that human a burning torture that burns his flesh." Bleez comments, trying to convince him to join in and watch.
"I told you I'm not interested." Razer grits his teeth as he glares daggers at her. "Red Lantern Adonis lost and disgraced the Corps already. I have no desire to watch him getting what he deserves."
"Whatever, I'm going to watch." Bleez shrugs as she flew towards the castle. "Got nothing better to do in this Spectrum War, rather than hearing Zox's boring rants and watch torture of a human lantern."
'Is this war really neccessary?' Razer thought to himself as he looks at the skies. 'Wonder what the other lanterns are up to?'
At Mogo, Blackfire, now an Orange Lantern, charges towards Garfield as she screams "Mine!" over and over again, as the other Green Lanterns tries to restrain her.
"What is up with this female!?" Ch'p questions as he constructs his ring to wrap around the Tamaranean's ankle, but she constructs an orange ax to cut off the green rope.
"Sister, stop this NOW!" Starfire orders as she pulls up a pink shield. "We do not have to fight like this!"
"Step away, sister, your mate will be my mate!" Blackfire barks as she shoots an orange beam towards her sister. But is deflected by a blue beam as it hits Blackfire to the ground.
"She's going to damage, Mogo." Raven states 'I can't believe that I can feel this planet's emotions.'
Garfield stopped and thought as his mates did battle with the much stronger Orange Lantern and he watched as the mutant Tamaranean declared that he would be her mate over and over again. 'Maybe I can use that to my advantage?' The Green Lantern asked himself as he saw and avoided a orange beam that almost hit him.
"He will be mine!" He heard Blackfire scream as she blasted all of the other Lanterns away from her with a big sphere of orange energy.
"Sharing is caring." Garfield commented to himself as he was yet to enter the battle. "How do I make a being who is completely greedy share?"
"Blackfire stand down!" Robin ordered as he felt himself wanting to kill the green Titan who also stole his back up choice.
"Beastly's mine! The Orange Lantern Corps is mine! THE WHOLE TAMARANEAN EMPIRE IS MINE!" Blackfire declares as she is suddenly been struck down by an orange blast.
"GIVE BACK MY RINGS!" Shouted what appears to be a cloud of orange Lanterns as they all are lead by a four arm alien known as Larfleeze, as he leads his horde or Orange Lantern corps.
"Oh no." One of the Guardians muttered. "Larfleeze."
"Who?" Ravager asked as she recharge her plasma pistol.
"Agent Orange, keeper of the Orange Lantern." Another explained. "Green Lanterns, defend!"
All of the Green Lanterns flew towards the army of Orange Lanterns as well as the Titans as they beaten many Orange Lanterns. But it was then Cyborg analyzes them.
"Yo, those guys don't have any life readings." He states as he blasts one of them as they evaporated "They're constructed!"
"An army of constructed Lanterns?" Garfield asked in disbelief. "That means that guy is the only Orange Lantern!"
"He is so succumb to greed, he won't let anyone share the rings." Raven deducted as she blasts another with her blue ring. "If this keeps up, Mogo will be a living battleground."
"Give back Larfleeze's ring!" Larfleeze demands as he tackles Blackfire.
"My ring! MY RING!" Blackfire cried out as she blasts the lantern away from her. "My ring!"
"That ring belongs to me!" Larfleeze shouts as he sends constructed Orange Lanterns towards Blackfire. "IT'S MINE!"
"So if you where the Orange Lantern ring, you'll end up like Daffy Duck over there?" Garfield asked as he saw Hal, John, and Guy flying towards the Orange Lantern nut. "Alright, re-enforcement!"
"What's with the orange?" Guy asked as he is punched by an Orange Lantern construct.
"They're constructs!" Garfield told them as he joins them.
"Mogo, can you do something about this?" Arisia asked the planetoid as a rock stretches out to hit Larfleeze and Blackfire away from the ground. "Thank you!"
"This planet really is sentient." Starfire states as she flew in to stop her sister.
"Guess Mogo doesn't like house flies!" Wonder Girl comments as she punches another Orange Lantern construct as Ravager joins with her to shoot other constructs made by Larfleeze.
'I never thought that a simple date should spawn into this! I like it!' Ravager thought as she cuts through construct after construct.
"My Lanterns!" Larfleeze cried out as he felt them getting destroyed.
"My RING!" Backfire roared as she attacked the Orange Lantern with a beam which he returned.
"MINE!" Larfleeze screamed.
"This power is mine, this is my light. Be it in brightest day, or black of night. I lay claim to all that falls within my sight. To take what I want. That is my right!" Backfire preformed the oath as her power quickly over powered her opponent and he was defeated.
Larfleeze's defeat causes all of the constructs to disappear and evaporated into thin air.
'An Oath? That's it!' Garfield thought as he calls out his Lanterns "If we use the Oath like she just did, we'll overpower her!"
"Shall we say our oath to defeat my sister?" Starfire asked her mate.
"Like I said, just say your Oath!" Garfield told as he raise his ring towards Blackfire. "In brightest day, in blackest night, no evil shall escape my sight. Let those who worship evil's might, Beware my power, Green Lantern's light!" Garfield performed as his ring glows as his lanterns finished their oaths as well.
"For hearts long lost and full of fright, for those alone in Blackest Night. Accept our ring and join our flight, Love conquers all with violet light!" Starfire performed as her ring glows.
"In fearful day, in raging night, with strong hearts full, our souls ignite. When all seems lost in the War of Light, Look to the stars, for hope burns bright!" Raven performed as her ring glows.
It was then Green, Pink, and Blue Light commence as it shoots a unison beam towards Blackfire, who tries to shoot back with her Orange Light. But with so much Green Light from the Green Lantern Corps weakens the mutant Tamaranean as it causes a bright explosion.
Blackfire falls back from impact, as her ring drops from her finger as she crashes down to the ground. It was then vines grew from the ground as it wraps around and entangles her so Blackfire won't escape.
"You think she's calm down?" Cyborg asked as Garfield looks at her, then at the knocked out Larfleeze.
"They're both down." Garfield noted.
Blackfire quickly wakes up and shoots her star bolts out of the vines entangled her as she quickly kicks Robin who was about to grab her ring but she grabbed it before him.
"It's my ring!" Blackfire shouts as she put it on and gets away from the scene.
"Nice going, boy blunder, you let her get the ring." Ravager said with a scolding tone.
"Screw you, cyclops!" Robin remarked as his patients had reached it's end.
"Stop being a dick, Robin." Garfield objected as he got in between the two. "Ravager, don't cause trouble."
"Sorry." Ravager softly rolled her eyes.
"Now Blackfire is the least of our worries." Garfield states as Katma and Killowag bounds Larfleeze in a cage as they took away his ring.
One of the guardians float towards the caged Orange Lantern as he observes him "His name is Larfleeze, known as the founder of the Orange Lantern Corps. He is actually the only member."
"Maybe we can convince him to be our allies?" Starfire suggested.
"It's highly unlikely." The female guardian states "Those who wear the Orange Lantern Ring, is consumed to avarice. Larfleeze wore that ring for so long, greed has consume him."
"If any other wears the Orange Lantern ring, they'd end up destroying each other." Raven notes in theory.
"So it's just better to just lock him up so he won't cause trouble." Robin suggested.
"The only thing for him to not cause trouble, is to just leave him alone. He has his possessions." Another guardian interjects.
"What if we convince him to be our ally?" Wonder Girl asked "Like say, if he wants to keep other lanterns from getting his possessions, he'll have to fight for his possessions so no one will take from him."
"He will never be you ally. He will want your processions and he will fight you for them." A Guardian commented to the Amazon. "Our only course of action is to lock him up and hope that the fact that the Tamaranean took his ring will loosen the hold that green has on him."
"So by stealing his ring Blackfire...did good?" Garfield smirked. "That's a riot!" He chuckled.
"Stealing is never the right thing young lantern." A Guardian scolded.
"Got it." Garfield didn't hide his smirk.
"How do we track, Blackfire?" Cyborg questioned.
"She did mention something about Tamaran." Garfield noted.
"Then she is after the Empire in Tamaran!" Starfire exclaimed as she turns to the Guardians "Guardians, with your permission, I'd required selected Lanterns to assist on protecting of my home planet."
"We are bound by the treaty, Princess Koriand'r." the Guardian told her. "You're aunt was a strong Green Lantern, but sadly all of the Green Lanterns are forbidden from Tamaran."
"Then what about the Blue Lanterns?" Raven asked as she steps in. "The Blue Lantern Corps aren't bound by Tamaranean laws; maybe I can call for their help?"
"What about the Teen Titans?" Garfield took his ring off and he appeared in only a black tank top and blue jeans. "Garfield Logan, channeling."
"That sounds most acceptable." Starfire cheered as she hugged the two. "Will you my other friends join?"
"That's what friends do, Star!" Cyborg replied to the red head.
"I think I got some tricks under my sleeve to trap your sister in." Ravager states.
"You can count on us, sister." Wonder Girl told as she smiles for the Tamaran.
"We'll come, Starfire." Robin told her confidently.
"Alright, now let's go stop sister Blackfire!" Starfire told as the Titans head down to the t-ship.
"Wait." Killowag calls out as he steps forward. "I think you kids would like a bigger ship than the T-ship."
In Odym, a white alien in blue lantern clothing, Saint Walker, was meditating on the ground as his eyes opened.
"Blue Lantern Roth needs our assistance." St. Walker spoke as he calls for his Blue Lanterns "All Blue Lanterns, let hope burn light. Our fellow Lantern, Rachel Roth, needs our assistance at Tamaran."
The Blue Lanterns that flew before him, Brother Hymn, Sister Sercy, and Warth appeared.
"You ask us for assist, St. Walker?" Brother Hymn asked his fellow Lantern.
"We must assist another at Tamaran." the peaceful Lantern told his associates.
"Blue Lantern Roth, I assume?" Sister Sercy asked as Walker nodded his head.
"Then we shall assist her and her friends to stop the Orange Lantern from causing chaos." Warth comments.
"Yes, and hopefully we share our hope to those who need it." St. Walker complied as the Blue Lanterns make their course to Tamaran.
