Hey y'all, sorry I haven't been updated lately because school work, writer's block, and finished watching Peacemaker, rewatching Gravity Falls. Anyways here you go!
The Spectrum Wars: Reach Invasion:
Garfield flew from the Vegan galaxy as he headed back to Mogo. When he heard that his planet's being invaded, he originally was going to head down there but instead the Guardians ordered him to return to Mogo because it's not just an invasion. The aliens invading earth are none other than the savage techno-organic world conquerors, the Reach.
'Reach...why did it had to be the Reach?!' he thought as he flew down to Mogo. He then hears the T-Com as he picks it up to answer "Yes?"
"Mate Garfield, you left the Vegan System in a hurry." Starfire told him in worry "Are you alright?"
"I'm not the one you should be worrying about, Star." he responded "Earth is being invaded by the Reach!"
"X'hal no!" Star shouts in shock that the Reach has come to her second home "We must stop them!"
"You and the Titans can, but the Green Lanterns...we're off limits to do anything on Earth." Garfield told her with a solemn tone.
"I do not understand?" Star said in confusion.
"The Lanterns and the Reach made a pack deal: Once the Reach finds a planet to conquer after getting invited in, the Green Lanterns are off limits from that planet." he explained to her as his fists clench.
"But you must stop them! You are the Green Lanterns!" Starfire told him.
"I wish that were simple, Kori. But unless the Reach has been invited then there's nothing we can do." he told her as he hears his ring beeps "I'll call you back, Kor." he said as he cuts contact with the T-Com as he answers his ring "Hal, what's up?"
"Well, your Beetle Borg friend showed up in Mogo." Hal told him.
"Beetle-what?" Garfield asked as he realized who Hal meant "Wait, Jaime's in Mogo!? I told him he can't be shown there!"
"That's what I've been saying but it appeared that he turned himself in!" Hal told him that Garfield made his mark and flew down to Mogo immediately.
Jaime without his armor stood with his hands up as the Green Lanterns who weren't familiar with him held their rings aiming at his scarab. Only Hal, Kilowag, G'Nort, Ch'p, and the Lantern girls guard him by projecting shields.
"Kilowag! You and the other Lanterns move out of the way!" The Guardians orders them.
"We can't unless you all hear the kid out!" Kilowag told them.
"Yeah, just hear him out!" Arisia replied.
"Yeah, my scarab's defected!" Jaime shouts at them with his hands up "Ask Gar, he knows that my scarab is defective!"
Before anyone else could respond Garfield came at high speed as he lands beside Blue Beetle for his defense.
"Put your rings down!" he told them all as he halted them "Jaime is speaking the truth!"
"Explain, Logan." the female Guardian demands as the other Guardians floated above them.
"Okay, yes I know about Blue Beetle and his scarab, but not that his scarab's part of the Reach." He answered, "But if you just listen, we have evidence that the Reach has violated our treaty."
"The Reach has scattered these scarabs all around the galaxy in search of a host." Jaime began "The scarab landed on earth thousands of years ago, but it became defective. The scarab has no control over me and only serves me." he told them as the other Green Lanterns murmur to themselves about it just as the T-Ship flew into Mogo along with St. Walker.
As the ship lands, the Titans got out as they ran to Blue Beetle.
"Yo! Why are you here, Blue?" Cyborg asked his teammate.
"I came as living evidence." Blue Beetle responds as he noticed Ravager is taping on a small device "What are you doing, Rava-"
"Shh, I'm trying to focus." Ravager respond as she goes through the content of the device 'If what Star told us what Gar said is true, then I may have a trump card.' she thought as she smirks once she saw the content.
"Even if the scarabs were scattered not even your friend's scarab can get us to stop the Reach." the eldest Guardian told them, leaving them in shock.
"What!? But the Reach-" Robin was cut off as the Guardian continued.
"If the Reach were invited in earth, then there's nothing we can do." he told them as the Titans and the Green Lanterns look down in defeat "You Titans may stop them somehow, but the Green Lanterns can't interfere-"
"Hey, Papa Smurf. Is this enough evidence for ya?" Ravager interrupts as she presses on her device, showing video images and recordings of mysterious shadows lurking around earth buildings. The Guardians took a closer look as they gasp when they see scouts of the Reach hiding and spying.
"If you check the dates on the security cams, they've been on earth before they showed up publicly." Ravager states as Garfield was impressed that she manages to get that information.
"Wow Rose, how do you manage to get all of that?" he asked her.
"Well remember long ago you were in Steel City you mentioned that you've suspected a Reach there? Well, I've had thought about it and just in case I've hacked into many cameras all around the country, even the networks in one of my allies of the net." she explained as she leaned into his ear and whispered to him "Between you and me, I'm a member of a private hacking group called Anonymous. We expose truths."
"Really?" Gar said as he learns more about the former mercenary.
"Damn, not even me and Robin can be that prepared." Cyborg said with an impressed tone as Robin grumbled to himself.
"The evidence is there." A Guardian stated as he folded his hands under his chin.
"They have broken the treaty, and this cannot go unpunished." Another Guardian agreed, as all agreed.
"Are you sending in the Lanterns?" Garfield asked his leaders in great hope.
"Yes, we will." A Guardian answered as he looked into the changeling's eyes.
"Alright!" Garfield jumped in the air; his fist high in the air.
"Who all are going?" Cyborg questioned the Guardians. "Will you be sending them all?" He inquired from them.
"No. Not all of them." A Guardian responded as he shook his head.
"Just the best." Another added.
Reach ships hovered over the cities as the civilians screamed as they taken shelter. Blue pods landed on the streets as many Reach droids came out to capture the citizens. At the White House the President watch out the window, seeing all his army doing their best to prevent them from charging in as his bodyguards came into his office.
"Mr. President, we need you and your family head down to the bunker!" the agent told him as the President ran to him.
"I'm on my way." he replied as he hollows his bodyguard as he spotted Captain Atom is with them "Captain Atom, what are you doing here?"
"Protecting you, sir." he told him as he saw a Reach soldier crash into the window as Atom blasts him out "The Justice League are here to stop the invasion!"
"Awesome!" The President shouts in excitement in seeing one of his favorite heroes protecting him and his family. "I-I mean, you Leaguers have this country's gratitude." he said with sudden professionalism.
"Aren't it always!" shouted Guy who appeared along with Captain Atom.
"Guy, what are you doing here?" Captain Atom asked.
"The Reach are also the GL Corp's problem. So, we're here to assist!" Guy responds as he saw the reach drones as he constructed a machine gun to open fire at the reach drones.
A blond girl wearing a blue shirt and red cape, matching short skirt, and boots with a familiar stylize S flew around Metropolis beating the Reach drones and soldiers with her ice breath and laser vision.
"So many bugs." Supergirl said as she is grabbed by the tentacles from one of the drones "Shit!" she cursed as she felt the tentacles wrapping around her body. But the tentacle reach drone was sliced in half by a green axe, as Supergirl looks at her savior and green crush.
"Yo, Supergirl was it?" Beastly asked, giving her a salute.
"Beastly Lantern? What are you doing here?" Supergirl asked her crush. Supergirl is in fact one of the girls who has a huge crush on Beastly, but her cousin wouldn't allow her to date.
"The Reach has broken their treaty with the Green Lantern Corp, and now we're called in to teach them a lesson or two on going back on one's word." he explained.
"Thank goodness." Supergirl whispered to herself, so the civilians wouldn't know how worried she was that they wouldn't be able to stop the Reach from conquering the planet.
"The Green Lantern Corp are here!" The civilians cheered and the blond alien looked up to see at least a dozen Green Lanterns floating up in the air.
"I never thought I would ever see something like this." Supergirl smiled as hope refiled her soul and she found her spirit to fight return in force. "Yeah! This is how it's done!" She cheered as the girl vanished with great speed and started taking outreach enthusiastically.
"Blonde, you got the right idea." Kilowog boasted as he formed two giant fists and started beating the Reach threat.
The Reach soldiers form their hands into barrels as they keep shooting lasers at them. Kilowag gave them a mega-ton punch along with Beastly Lantern and Katma as they took down the soldiers from left to right. Then teleporting into Metropolis are Steel, STRIPE, Red Tornado, and Stargirl as they assist in protecting the citizens and defeating the reach.
"Now this," Kilowag pulls out a battery core of the reach soldiers before he throws them at another Lantern who kicks it in the air "is better than Gooblafest on Haos-3!"
"Oi, don't go farther than that!" another Lantern said as he pounds a reach droid.
At Jump City, the honorary Titans did their best to fight off the reach droids as well as their soldiers. Kid Flash and Argent took more down as Hotspot shoots his flames towards them. Jericho keeps in the defense as he notices the HIVE-5 are also fighting the reach.
"Jinx!?" Kid Flash asked in shock seeing his crush along with her team fighting alongside each other.
"Hey Kid, me and my gang don't like it when an invasion comes to try to take over the world." she replied as she sends a hex towards another droid.
"So, after this, you consider dating?" Kid Flash asked as he ran up to a reach soldier and made him drop his gun.
"I'll think about it." she said with a wink as she shot out more hexes as she noticed a violet and blue blur ran through the large ships of the reach "Look!"
Pointing up to the sky, it was Starfire and Raven using their newfound Lantern powers to defeat many reach ships. Raven uses a mix of her blue lantern powers and her magic to disable the ship's controls as Starfire shoots out sapphire lasers towards the droids.
"This is going surprisingly well." Starfire commented as she used her alien endurance and flexibility to take down more Reach than her fellow Titans.
"It doesn't surprise me." Raven replied as she surrounded herself with her ring energy as a volley of lasers were launched at her. "As long as a person has hope, they can still win."
"In brightest day, in blackest night. No evil shall escape my sight, for those to worship evil's might, beware our powers, Green Lanterns LIGHT!" A huge green beam crashed into a small hoard of Reach, and the two Titan Lantern girls looked up to see a familiar purple skinned girl and several other Lanterns.
"Friend Iolande!" Star shouts happily.
"Also, Ch'p and...G'Nort." Raven responds in deadpanned noticing the two other Lanterns.
"Oi, I'm tougher than I look, ya brat!" Ch'p growled in frustration, as he crushes more reach ships heading down to earth.
"I don't think she means it that way, Ch'p." G'Nort replied as he clumsily shot a fire hydrant instead, but the rising water did hit a reach soldier causing him to be shot straight to the sky.
"Whatever!" Ch'p dismisses as he takes more down.
"Alright Lanterns, let's protect the earth and show the reach of the consequences of betraying us Lanterns!" Iolande declares that they all charge at the Reach drones and take them all out, protecting Jump City.
"Yeeeeeaaaah!" Hal shouts as he's at Coast City along with his fellow Lanterns Arkkis, Galius, and others taking down many reach ships from left to right.
"Where do these flying bugs come from?" Arkkis asked as he constructs wolf-like claws to slash the ships down.
"They're like flies!" Galius responds as he shoots them down some more. Suddenly portals appeared out of nowhere as two reach armada ships were sucked in like black holes causing the Lanterns to look confused.
"Thought you could use some help." spoke the Herald as he along with Wildebeest, G'Naark, and Kole take down reach ships from left to right "Courtesy of the Titans."
"Don't forget the League!" shout Booster Gold as he, Fire, Zatanna, Plastic Man, and the Flash round out many reach soldiers from attacking the civilians.
"Gotta love it when you bring people together to stop an alien invasion!" Arkkus comments.
"Yep." Hal responds as he looks around in worry 'Wonder where's Carol?'
"Black Beetle!" shouted a green skinned reach in white robe as he marches down to his general of the reach army "Tell me why are we losing numbers on our armada ships, and why are the Lanterns here!?"
"Apologies, Ambassador." Black Beetle responds with a scowl "Someone in our ranks may have slipped up and now these...earthlings with extraordinary powers are fighting back along with the Lanterns."
"I thought our infiltrators make sure that we weren't seen!" the cybernetic insectoid leader shouts as he gives a frustrating sigh "By our makers sake, you can't find a good planet to conquer! I had done research on earth through its social media and somehow, the Lanterns learned that we're here!"
"Then it looks like we'll have to send our mothership closer to earth's." Black Beetle said as he commands the ship operators to lead its large mothership to activate its large ship, but then they felt something hitting them "What now!?"
"General! There seems to be a large organism attacking us!" The reach captain told me to read the specs on the monitor.
"What could attack us with-!?" The Ambassador was cut off when he noticed a large, green mass of energy covering the ship. "What is that!?"
"Whoa." Cyborg said as he, Robin, Wonder Girl, and Ravager split the T-ship to shoot down the invading reach ships before they get to earth. They are both surprised to see Mogo, the living planet bringing the leading mother ship to the reach, pulling it with its gravity formed Lantern powers. "Mogo's pulling the mother ship using both the will power and gravitational pull!"
"What? How's that possible without pulling in the other planets!?" Robin asked in shock.
"I think this is one question that not even science and physics can answer." Wonder Girl responds as she shoots another droid ship.
As the T-Jets shot down more of the reach ships there came Superman, Captain Marvel, Hawkgirl, Green Lantern Stewart, Martian Manhunter and Dr. Fate who showed up at the earth's atmosphere to keep all the invading rich from getting into the earth's belt. Then Blue Beetle shows up fighting down the reach soldiers who are just like him in the armor, all in different shades of blue and green.
"Ready to fight off your conquering cousins?" Jaime asked for his scarab.
'Logical reason. As many times that I've connected to you, you'll always be my partner that I've served, Jaime Reyes.' The scarab responds as Blue Beetle's arms turns into barrel cannons as he blasts down the reach soldiers and drones.
"Need help?" asked Beastly Lantern as he flew up along with Supergirl "Metropolis, Gotham, and Washington are reported to be cleared of armada ships! Though we can help!"
"Go for it, dude!" Beetle responds as they both attack the ships.
"Man, I must be feeling like this Captain Kirk guy you and Cyborg tell me about!" he said as he changes into a space manta ray and uses his fins to slice up the insectoid ships.
"I won't go down without a fight!" A big black armored figure came roaring through the mothership and started flying towards his blue counterpart. "I will kill you!"
"Over my dead body!" Blue Beetle exclaimed as he flew towards his black counterpart, and they exchanged volleys at each other.
"That's the idea!" Black Beetle responded as he dodged the shots and fired back.
'Maybe I shouldn't have said that.' Blue said to himself as he dodged and fired back.
"BB!" Cyborg cried out as he saw his best friend fight the older, stronger, bigger, and more experienced fighter.
"Stay out of this, Cyborg!" Blue exclaimed as he decided to fight the alien himself.
Black Beetle forms his arms into barrel cannons with extra pistols inside the barrel guns. He fires multiple lasers towards Blue Beetle who forms a shield out of the palm of his hands.
"You defective traitor!" Black Beetle shouts "Siding with our archenemy, the Lanterns, you're a disgrace to the reach everywhere!"
"You think that bothers me!?" Blue Beetle shouts as his back grows out machine cannons as he fires missiles towards his counterpart. "We don't give a mule's ass about your race! Me and the scarab have bonded long enough to become who we were made to be!"
"And what is that, human meat bag?" the Black Beetle asked as his arms form huge machete knives filled with electricity.
"Heroes unite as one!" Blue Beetle shouts as he charges in with his hands forming into swords as the two armored adversaries clash their blades at each other. The Black Beetle pushes his blue counterpart away as he charges him to give the killing blow. Blue dodges his kill blow as he asked the reach for the Black Beetle's weak spot.
"How do you defeat that guy?" Blue asked.
'The only way to defeat an armored reach is to destroy his scarab.' his scarab told him. 'To defeat him you must damage his back scarab.'
"But there's no way I can go for the back, unless..." Blue turns to Beastly Lantern as an idea pops up "Yo, BL! I need some back up."
"Back up? But you got this guy, right?" Beastly asked seeing the Black Beetle charging at Blue Beetle as the Hispanic hero nudge his head while defending himself.
"I said I need 'Back. Up!" The blue armored hero nudged his head at Black Beetle's back, as Beastly got the point.
"What are you up to, human meat bag?" The Black Beetle asked as he then realized the nudging "Oh you gotta be-AAAAAHHHH!" Black Beetle screamed as he felt a blast behind his back as he flew forward, but Blue Beetle forms his fist into a larger fist as he pounds his black counterpart far up through a reach drone ship. He gets back up as he charges at Blue Beetle but then finds a blue hook strapped into his shoulder pad and torn off, revealing his techno-organic shoulder. "Great. My armor's weakening."
"Give up now, and I'll spare you the humiliation." Blue Beetle said with a grin along with Beastly Lantern as the two stood in front of Black Beetle.
"Foolish humans, I'm not an opponent you can underestimate!" Black Beetle shouts as he transforms his hands into sickles as he charges at them. The two dodges as the sickle manage to cut across Beastly Lantern's chest, but not a deep cut but more of a scratch.
"Hey, watch the suit!" Beastly Lantern shouts with his quip "I just got this dry cleaned!"
"You dry clean your Lantern suit?" Blue asked him curiously.
"Not really, just shooting out some quips." the changeling said as he blasts the back scarab of the Black Beetle, seeing it cracked a little "Let's finish this!"
"YEAH!" Blue shouts back as he and Beastly Lantern grabs the black antennas on Black Beetle's armor, as they pull him up and swing him down towards Mogo's green energy gravitational pull along with the mother ship by Mogo's Lantern power. Black Beetle gets sucked in as his armor falls apart, revealing a black techno-organic insectoid being pulled into the gravitational pull. "And another one bites the dust!" Blue Beetle said as he and Beastly hi-five at each other.
The Lanterns and many heroes on earth watch as many reach armada ships being pulled out of earth's atmosphere. The military and air force planes flew up high to destroy the remaining droids as the heroes that fly beat them all.
"Did we win?" Laira asked, looking up to see the soldier being teleported away.
"Looks like it!" Soranik replied with a smile "And I think the rich learn their lesson."
"Exactly, mess with earth, the League and Lanterns alike will squash these big bad beetles!" Stargirl replied joining in on the girl's conversation "Wait, who are you girls?"
The mothership crashed into the living planet, as the remaining reach soldiers and the Reach Ambassador gets out of there. Once they got off their ship, they saw the Guardians along with other Lanterns glaring at them.
"Flook, the Guardians." The Reach Ambassador muttered as his soldiers held their cannons up at them, but vines and roots grew to their feet as they wrapped the soldiers up along with the Ambassador "Let me go, you blue organisms!"
"I think not, 'Ambassador.'" The eldest Guardian said as he floated in front of them. "Illegal infiltration on a planet, breaking a treaty, and might I add, spread your scarabs all around the universe hoping to find hosts to take over planets."
"Anything you would like to say?" the female Guardian asked the so-called Ambassador as the Corps flew back to Mogo to see the reach's judgement.
"You Lanterns think you can police this galaxy any longer! Soon your mistakes will come and bite you in your graklish!" The leader of the reach spat at the Guardians with hate in his eyes.
"Then your judgement has been decided." The Guardians spoke in unison "All of your reach armada shall be teleported into the antimatter universe."
The Ambassador's eyes widen as he struggles to get free "You Lanterns may have stopped us, but soon you shall be beaten!" He said that his whole body has been teleported into the antimatter universe, along with the other reach soldiers, army, the Black Beetle, and other armada ships being sent to the antimatter universe.
The Lanterns watch in awe in seeing their long-time enemies vanish into thin air. They all cheered for this victory, as Garfield let out a sigh of relief that the problem with the Reach is over.
"We did it, Gar!" shout Arisia as she glomps him from behind as the other girls joins in. "We saved earth!"
"As well as countless galaxies from the Reach's control." Iolande states as she gives Garfield a kiss on the cheek.
"Yeah, we've beaten the impossible." Garfield said with a smile as he kissed Iolande back.
