After deciding to apply for the U.A. Academy, Yukimo had a strict schedule to train and improve her quirk for the next ten months. She had also pleaded with her teacher not to announce it to her classmates, fearing that Katsuki would make a big deal about it and disrupt her training. With her newfound determination, Yukimo was determined to push herself to her limits and become a stronger hero.

It was a strange change, but since the Sludge incident, Katsuki hadn't bothered Izuku at all. Instead, he would simply yell at him to move, but the bullying had stopped for some reason. Yukimo couldn't help but wonder what had caused this sudden change in Katsuki's behavior, but she was grateful for the peace and quiet it brought.

She had tried to tell Izuku about her decision to attend the U.A. Academy, but he was always busy and left in a hurry. She would often visit his home, hoping to surprise him, but his mother always greeted her with the news that he hadn't arrived yet. Yukimo couldn't help but wonder if Izuku was deliberately avoiding her, but she pushed the thought aside and decided that he would find out soon enough.

Thanks to All Might's guidance, Yukimo was able to retake the mock exam during school hours. She had managed to convince one of the teachers to let her leave during class, citing a medical checkup as an excuse. The experience was a bit awkward, but Yukimo was relieved that it was over. She couldn't help but wonder what kind of reaction Izuku would have when he found out that she had been trying to tell him about her decision all along

All that was left to do was prepare for the upcoming entrance exam. She had received some painkillers from the hospital to help her manage her headaches, but had also been forced to promise not to use teleportation and telekinesis simultaneously for the time being. They didn't want another incident like the last one, and Yukimo agreed wholeheartedly.

To be honest, she wouldn't have used teleportation anyway. It was too risky. After what happened, she had decided to focus solely on her telekinetic abilities. She knew it was a temporary measure, but she wanted to get better at telekinesis before trying to combine all three abilities again. She was determined to master her telekinetic abilities before pushing herself too hard again.

Every day, Yukimo had been training her telekinetic abilities at home. One day, she received a surprise gift from Izuku's mother - a Rubik's cube. She was challenged to solve it using her telekinesis, and every time she succeeded, Izuku's mother would give her a new puzzle to conquer. The first few attempts were frustrating, but Yukimo was determined to master the cube. She spent hours practicing, slowly but surely improving her skills. With each solved cube, Yukimo felt a sense of accomplishment and pride, motivating her to continue pushing herself.

In addition to practicing her telekinesis, Yukimo also worked on improving her physical strength. She knew that in order to defeat someone using her telekinesis, she would need to be physically fit. She dedicated herself to a rigorous training regimen, focusing on building up her endurance and power.

One of the challenges Yukimo faced was that using her telekinesis too much left her feeling physically drained. She would often struggle to recover from intense sessions of telekinesis, and it would take hours for her body to recharge. However, as she became more physically fit, she noticed that she was able to recover from telekinesis use more quickly. This realization motivated her to continue pushing herself, as she knew that being physically fit would ultimately help her become a stronger and more effective hero.

However, because she wasn't used to using her telekinesis as often as before, Yukimo soon realized that she couldn't use it frequently without it taking a toll on her body. She would often experience nosebleeds and severe headaches, which made it difficult for her to focus.

At times, when her telepathy went out of control, Yukimo would try to force herself to calm down and regain control. However, she found that this was a futile effort, as she would often lose consciousness or become disoriented from the intense mental struggle, which only added to her frustration.

Whenever Yukimo's telekinesis went out of control, nurse Hatsumi took care of her when Yukimo ended up at the hospital, even grounding her until she was fully recovered. This meant that Yukimo was restricted to studying for her exams with no exceptions.

If Yukimo tried to use her telekinesis while being grounded, nurse Hatsumi would chase after her with a stick, determined to prevent her from causing harm. Yukimo was intimidated by this stern approach, remembering the time nurse Hatsumi had warned her with a deadly serious expression. She knew that nurse Hatsumi would not hesitate to discipline her if she didn't comply with the rules.

As a result, Yukimo was forced to be more mindful of her actions and emotions, learning to control her telekinesis and avoid the consequences of losing control. Despite the restrictions, Yukimo was determined to master her abilities and become a stronger individual.

Over the past ten months, Yukimo had grown surprisingly close to nurse Hatsumi. She had never expected to form such a bond with an adult, especially one who knew about her quirk and troubled past. But as they shared meals, conversations, and quiet moments together, Yukimo found herself feeling seen and understood in ways she never had before.

It was a peculiar feeling, to say the least. Yukimo was still getting used to seeing Nurse Hatsumi as more than just a caregiver or authority figure. But as they laughed together over silly jokes or shared stories of their own struggles, Yukimo realized that she had grown accustomed to having nurse Hatsumi by her side. She wasn't sure what the future held, but for now, she was grateful for this unexpected friendship.

As Yukimo stepped through the gate, she took a deep breath, surveying the scene before her. She had been thinking about listening to the competition's thoughts, but a part of her wanted to avoid it altogether. She didn't like the idea of snooping into her opponents' thoughts or plans, feeling that it was a violation of their privacy. In fact, she had never resorted to such tactics during a test, even when faced with intense pressure. To Yukimo, it was fundamentally wrong, akin to cheating.

Her classmates often envied her unique abilities and thought she was wasting opportunities. They believed that she should use her powers to cheat during school exams, but Yukimo refused to compromise her values.

As Yukimo approached the school, she noticed a commotion near the entrance. A green-haired boy was frantically pacing back and forth, his eyes fixed on something just out of sight. Yukimo's curiosity got the better of her, and she slowed her pace to get a better look.

Just then, a girl with brown shoulder-length hair appeared from around the corner. She flashed a bright smile at the boy, and his frantic pace slowed to a halt. Yukimo felt a sense of unease wash over her as she wondered what was going on between these two students.

Yukimo's heart sank as she heard Izuku's thoughts echoing in her mind. 'I talked to a girl!'

'I'm a girl too,' she thought back at Izuku, her voice trembling with anger,

"Izuku-kun... you idiot..." The words spilled out of her before she could stop them, a mix of pain and frustration.

Yukimo felt a thrill of excitement as she settled in. She was close enough to hear Izuku's mumbling, but he and even Katsuki seemed oblivious to her presence. She leaned back in her chair, trying to blend in with the crowd. For now, she was just another student taking the exam.

But as she glanced around at the sea of faces, Yukimo's mind began to wander. What would happen if Izuku or Katsuki caught her eye? Would they be surprised to see her sitting there, or would they just ignore her?

Hopefully, all three of them pass this exam and got accepted. She knew she shouldn't have to worry about Katsuki, but Izuku, on the other hand, she wasn't sure of.

She stopped going through his head after a while because all he did was mutter and mutter about training his muscles and getting stronger, his constant muttering often giving her a headache. She thought maybe he would finally tell her what he was planning someday, but he never did.

"For all you examiners tuning in, welcome to my show today!" the hero –Present Mic- started,

"Everybody say, 'hey'!"

He placed his hand to his ear as if waiting for someone to make a noise, but he was only greeted by silence. Yukimo felt somewhat sorry for him. However, the silence didn't bother him. He quickly presented the rundown on the practical exam.

Just like the application Yukimo and every student had received, they would conduct 10-minute mock urban battles. They were allowed to bring whatever they wanted and after the presentation, they'd head to the designated battle center.

Yukimo looked down at her paper and noticed that her test location was Battle Center C. She wondered which battle center Katsuki and Izuku were assigned to.

There were three different types of villains stationed in each battle center. Their goal was to defeat as many villains as possible and earn a high score.

"You'll earn points based on their level of difficulty targets," Hero present Mic continued explaining,

"Attacking other examiners and any other unheroic actions were prohibited!"

'Thank you! This way I wouldn't have to worry about Bakugo attacking other students,' thought Yukimo, but then she also had to worry about herself. She didn't want to risk losing control, so decided not to use her teleport.

A boy seated in front of Yukimo stood up, his hand raised, and asked, "May I ask a question?"

"Okay," said Present Mic, and pointed at the boy. All eyes turned to look at him as a spotlight suddenly appeared on him.

The boy began, "On the printout, there are four types of villains," as he held up the sheet of paper. "If that is a misprint, then U.A., the most prominent school in Japan, should be ashamed of that foolish mistake."

Yukimo found it rather annoying what he was doing. She had noticed it too, but she was pretty sure Present Mic had left that information on purpose to explain it later. Maybe the boy should've just waited until Present Mic was done with his explanation.

"In addition, you over there with curly hair," he continued, and pointed towards someone behind him. Yukimo followed his direction and saw that he had meant Izuku.

"You've been muttering to yourself this whole time," he continued. "It's distracting! If you're here on a pleasure trip, then you should lea-"

"Can you shut up!" Yukimo yelled and slammed her hand on the table. She'd had enough of this goody-two-shoes guy. Now all eyes were on her, which was something she didn't want. Izuku and Katsuki both looked at her in surprise, and now they had noticed her.

"Present Mic wasn't done explaining the test, maybe you should let him finish before judging the school!" she continued,

"And another thing, if muttering distracts you, maybe you're the one who shouldn't be here because out there on the real battlefield, there are all sorts of distractions that are worse than muttering."

The boy seemed shocked by what Yukimo had said, as others were as well.

"Alright, alright," Present Mic began to get the students' attention back, "Examiner No. 7111, I'll continue with my presentation."

"Thank you very much," the boy bowed to Present Mic and sat back down to his seat. As Present Mic continued with his presentation, Yukimo could feel the stares behind her head. One was a confused stare and the other was filled with rage. After a few minutes of concentration, she had managed to connect with Izuku and Katsuki at the same time,

'Y-Yuki-chan?' Izuku thought as she greeted them inside their head.

'Surprise...' was all she said.

'Deku, did you know?!' Katsuki practically yelled in their heads.

'N-n-no!'

'Of course he didn't. I was trying to tell him, but he was too busy with his training,' Yukimo answered somewhat bitterly,

'Besides, for your information, Bakugo, I changed my mind and applied. I didn't announce it in the class, because it was none of your and the class' business'

With that, Yukimo immediately stopped her telepathic connection with the two boys. Knowing full well Katsuki would scream in her head and not wanting to have a headache before the test had even started, she quickly put on her headphones before Katsuki would force his thoughts into her head.

"That's all from me," Present Mic began to conclude his presentation,

"Finally, I'll give you listeners a present; our school motto. The hero Napoleon Bonaparte once said,"

'A true hero is someone who overcomes life's misfortunes,' Yukimo thought of the words in union with Present Mic.

"Go beyond. Plus Ultra!" he yelled, "Now, everyone, good luck!"

After changing out of her school uniform into her workout clothes, she exited the building. She wore a red sports bra under a short-sleeved jacket that she had zipped halfway up and fingerless gloves. The application had mentioned that she was allowed to bring whatever she needed, so she had brought her headphones and a special bracelet she had received from her nurse.

Outside the building, everyone was gathering towards their assigned buses, which would take them to their location. Yukimo clutched her bag tightly as she watched people board the bus.

"Yuki-chan!" she heard someone calling her name and looked over her shoulder to see Izuku running up to her.

"What's up?" she asked casually, smiling.

"H-how...w-when?" was all he had managed to say.

"Where is your test location?" she asked, trying to change the subject, and showed him hers, "I'm at C."

"O-oh, I'm at B," he replied, looking at his own paper, "Kachan is at A."

'So we are all at a different location...' she thought.

"Okay, we'll talk after that. Good Luck!" she said, turning to run towards her bus without looking back. She heard Izuku calling her several times, but she just ignored him. He had to focus on his test, and she had to focus on hers. Besides, she didn't feel like talking to him about her decision. Not anymore.

The whole bus ride had been quiet, even when they arrived at the front gate of their battle location. Everyone was preparing themselves for whatever lay ahead behind the door.

Yukimo then looked around, taking in the unfamiliar surroundings. A few people caught her attention, like a boy with black shoulder-length hair and shorter bangs that framed his face. He seemed torn between having faith in himself or lacking confidence, an emotion Yukimo could relate to.

Finally, a girl with frog-like features and very long, dark sea-green hair that reached all the way to her waist, tied together at the bottom with a bow, caught her eye.

'I wonder what kind of quirks they have...' Yukimo thought.

As the massive gate swung open, everyone rushed into the faux city. Time was of the essence. Yukimo pushed her way deep into the city, striving to reach its center, aware that her stamina would soon dwindle when she activated her telekinesis.

Just then, a villain burst through a nearby building, charging towards her and swinging its arm at her. Yukimo executed a quick double backflip to avoid the attack. As she landed, another villain appeared behind her. She easily leapt over it and raised one hand towards the robot.

The robot was pushed backwards, crashing into the other robot and both collapsing in a heap. Before her telepathy kicked in uncontrollably, Yukimo quickly put on her headphones.

A new villain emerged, this time a three-pointed monstrosity. Yukimo swiftly lifted chunks of the building the previous villain had shattered and hurled them at the newcomer, crushing it beneath the debris.

She cautiously examined the broken pieces of the robots she had destroyed, noting some sharp metal fragments.

'That's perfect!' she thought happily, and used her telekinesis to take it along with her. When three other robots showed up, she used the sharp metal to slice through the robots. This way it was easier for her and also longer endurance to use her quirk.

Yukimo ran as fast as she could to find more villains, but she noticed her pace had slowed slightly.

Somewhere up in a booth, the teachers watched the students' performance on a bank of screens displaying multiple angles. They were impressed by some students' ability to quickly grasp the situation, their agility, discernment in adapting to new circumstances, and raw combat prowess. The teachers found this year's group particularly promising.

One of the teachers sitting there was All Might, who was taking some glances at Izuku, because it wouldn't be fair to only look at him while he also had to judge the other students. Not only that, but Yukimo had also caught his attention. He was glad she had changed her mind and applied for the academy.

He had noticed that she had somewhat changed from the last time he had seen her. She looked somewhat more confident and he couldn't help but feel proud of her progress.

"From the moment the test began, she's already scored 10 points," Midnight remarked. "Impressive..."

"All her telekinetic abilities are quite impressive," Cementoss added. "Who is she?"

The principal, who had the files on the examiners, was about to review the papers, but All Might beat him to it.

"Yukimo," All Might stated.

"Last name?" Midnight asked.

"Ah, yes... I see it now," the principal said, looking at Yukimo's paper. "It's written here that she has a psychic quirk."

"Apparently, it's noted that due to family issues, she need to keep her last name private," the principal continued.

"Psychic quirk?!" Snipe exclaimed. "That's incredible! But we've seen telekinesis before. I wonder if there are more variations."

"Maybe she has only one," said Power loader.

The teacher went silent and had put their focus back on the screen to watch the rest of the exam and other students.

Yukimo let out a breath as she leaned down, resting her hands on her knees after sinking another three-pointer. She was doing well so far, with 28 points under her belt. She had successfully defeated many villains at the beginning and noticed that with each victory, her pace had slowed and it took a bit longer to destroy the next robot.

However, the clock was ticking, and other students still had more points than her. Like the black-haired guy she had seen before the gate had opened. She had noticed at some point how his body almost looked like it was made of stone or something, and he had effortlessly destroyed a robot with his bare hands.

Yukimo straightened up, wiping the blood from her nose with a trembling hand. She knew she was reaching her limits, her hands shaking and aching.

She needed to hold on just a bit longer and rack up more points before the exam ended. Despite having promised Nurse Hatsumi that she wouldn't push herself, Yukimo felt compelled to do so.

Ahead of her, she spotted a robot and was about to approach it when she detected a faint whimpering sound behind her. She turned around and noticed a girl was trapped under some rubble.

Even though this was an exam, Yukimo felt like she couldn't leave the person like that and began to run towards the person. The rubble must have been too heavy for the person to move, but Yukimo thought she might be able to lift it with her telekinesis.

Just as she approached, Yukimo's eyes widened in alarm as she saw a robot moving towards the pinned person from behind. With her limited stamina, Yukimo knew she wouldn't make it on time and had no choice but to take the risk once again.

Yukimo gazed at the person as purple sparks began to emanate from her right eye. In an instant, she materialized between the person and the robot, her left knee and hand bracing against the ground. Her bangs fell across her eyes, obscuring her vision.

As the robot drew near, Yukimo remained motionless. Suddenly, another person leapt onto the robot and destroyed it from above.

"Are you two all right?" he asked, looking at them. However, Yukimo still hadn't moved. The boy was too distracted by the sudden appearance of another robot behind them.

Yukimo finally stirred and teleported in front of the robot, using the sharp metal she had been using telekinetically to destroy the robots, to destroy it with her own hands.

She slowly turned around and looked at the two people who were shocked to see what just happened. They still couldn't see her expression, but somehow they sensed that something was wrong.

'Oh no...did she lose control?' All Might thought, his grip on his chair tightening.
