Chapter 2: Answers and Lies

Here I was face to face with Krystal from Star Fox! My thoughts were a whirlwind, however the main one on my mind was 'Holy shit…'. After I had forcefully calmed myself down I opened the door and slowly entered. I found the Blue sapient vixen standing in the middle of the room waiting patiently. 'Definitely not a dream…'

"So… What do you want to know?" I asked with as much bravado as I could muster.

"What's your name and what are you?" The question was simple and to the point.

"My name is Dani, and I'm a human." I replied simply.

"A human? I've never heard of your kind…" see seemed to mull over the new information before snapping attention and fixing me with a glare that could rival spider-man after aunt May died… sorry random thought, anyway what I mean is that she was staring daggers at me.

"Why has the general captured me?"

"What?" I had no idea what she was talking about and I wasn't going to pretend that I had an answer for that.

"Don't play dumb, I know you work for general Scales!" This caused me to raise an eyebrow.

"And how exactly do you know that?"

"Because! Well because…"

"Did you just automatically assume I was evil?"

"Wel-" I cut her off before she could answer. My mind went into a whirlwind of possibilities, making curiosity overcome my fear and concerns.

"I think it's time I asked you some questions."

"What!?"

"It seems fair as you are not only a house invader but also a legitimate alien." Hearing my accusation, she recoiled a bit and had a shocked grimace on her face.

"I would never!"

"But you have. First question: where did you come from?" it took a minute for her to respond probably because of the bluntness.

"I-I came from a place called Krazoa palace, I woke up here."

"Interesting, just like the game" I mumbled. "Next question: where were you before that?"

This time Krystal just seemed confused as to why I was asking her a seemingly unimportant question. You see, I have a theory that can only be proven with more information.

"I was on the back of a CloudRunner chasing Gene-" I cut her off before she could continue. If I was right then this part was unimportant.

"Before that."

She gave me a death glare for interrupting her.

"Well before I was…" There! Right there was when my downpour of ideas was confirmed. The Krystal right in front of me, the one who looks like she's about to have a panic attack. She's straight out of the video game. Holy shit that's actually pretty cool.

Oh crap she's about to have a panic attack! Think, think, think. I got it, with a slam of my fist on my palm I turned to the startled anthropomorphic blue fox.

"I understand now. You've touched an ancient warp crystal!" A lie yes, but I had Krystal's full attention.

"Those crystals can teleport a person across the universe, Unfortunately they can have the side effect of minor amnesia." Ok not a good lie but I was under pressure. It's still better than being told that your existence should be impossible because you were never real, that would actually make a great book… Focus Dani!

Krystals emotional state went from panicked to confused then shocked, then back to panicked and finally settled on wariness. "Wait one second, why did the warp crystal send me here and how do you know so much?" Crap.

This time she used her telepathy on me. I could feel her in my mind look for any form of dishonesty. "I do not know why you were brought here and as for my knowledge of warp crystals… I can't reveal that info to you. Forgive me but If I were to tell you the truth, I'm concerned about what might happen." She narrowed her eyes but soon turned into a softer look, releasing the mind link.

"Very well, however now I think it's time I ask questions."

"One more question, Do you remember what proper clothing looks li-"
