Dear Mum,

It's the 8th of December, and Grover's friends joined in on bullying me, but only when the teacher wasn't there. I tripped down the stairs again but couldn't figure out what I tripped on. Sorry that I couldn't reply so soon.

Good Night,

Katie-Anne Corner

Dear Mum,

It's the 15th of December. It's getting close to when I can come home for the holidays, but Grover said I wasn't allowed at home anymore. I got a letter from you saying it would be best if I didn't and went home with my cousin Alexander instead. I got a letter from Grandma Potter, who told me I was welcome to stay with her and my other grandfather—your father, not the headmaster one.

Good Night,

Katie-Anne Corner

Dear Mum,

It's the 19th of December. I'm in the hospital wing again because I fainted again during class. I apparently broke a few bones when I tripped down the stairs earlier this month, but because I fainted again, they found something was wrong with my heart as well. They said it would be hard to fix with just potions alone, but again, it was due to that failed potion. Why did you keep me a secret? Did you believe that I was destined to die or something? I'm not happy with how I've been treated, but I'm just a kid, so how should I know how I should or shouldn't be treated?

Good Night,

Katie-Anne Corner
