Hiiiii, Chapter 2! Very Exciting especially cuz' this is probably going to be one of my favorite stories. Also, remember, in my world April doesn't exist. - Sadie

Lorelai came out of the bathroom with the stick in her hands. Luke was sitting on his bed with a nervous look on his face.

"So do you know yet?" Luke asked,

"No, we have to wait a few minutes." Lorelai said, sitting down beside him.

"Okay," he sighed, "We might be parents" He looked down at her and started rubbing her back.

"I know," She said looking up at him, "It feels kind of weird," She said, looking down at the upside-down stick in her hands.

"Doctors Appointments" He said, smiling

"Name Picking" she offered, looking up at him.

"Hey Luke?" She followed

"Hm?"

"I'm pretty sure I'm pregnant."

"Well, we're about to find out, has enough time passed?"

"I think so."

She grabbed Luke's hand and squeezed it tight.

Luke started to say, "3…2….1"

Lorelai flipped it and shut her eyes.

Luke lowered his head down to her ear and said, "You are going to be a mom again.."

And with that, Lorelai's eyes popped open. She started almost hyperventilating, Luke squeezed her hand and continued rubbing her back.

"We are having a baby," She said looking up at Luke.

"I know," He smiled at her and kissed her cheek.

"You are going to be a dad,"

"I know."

"Rory's going to have a younger sibling."

"And to that, once again I say, I know."

"Sorry, it's just kind of overwhelming."

"It's alright." He kissed the side of her head and said, "So, you wanna stay here tonight?"

"Yeah, sure, thanks."

They both spent about 10 minutes getting ready to go to bed, they were both mutual on the feeling to not go to dinner that night. Once they were both laying down in the bed, Luke said,

"Hey, you know what this means?"

"What?"

"No coffee for 9 months," He said while smiling. Lorelai let out the largest groan ever and said, "Yeah, right." She smiled and snuggled closer to him.

"I can't believe it,"

"Are you happy?" Luke asked, basically muffled into her hair.

"A bit, you?"

"I think this is a good thing."

Then both of them fell asleep, they were both worried about what was going to happen, both excited to be parents, a bit overwhelmed about what time it had happened. It was pretty early on in their relationship.

They both woke up relatively early, for Lorelai at least. For Luke it was late, 7 AM.

"Hey," Lorelai said, as she looked over to Luke sitting up in his bed.

"Sorry, I didn't mean to wake you."

"You didn't," She said while smiling, she glanced over to the night stand where the positive pregnancy test was. It hadn't been a dream.

"Whatcha' thinkin' about?" She asked Luke, he was staring off into space.

"How this baby's life is going to be."

"What?"

"We don't live together, we live in Stars Hollow where nothing is a secret and people are watching you constantly, like for god's sakes Patty mind your own business once in a while! It probably won't be around Rory a lot because she is at Yale, and I- I just don't know!"

"Luke, it's okay," She scooted over and laid on his shoulder, with one arm around his back.

She followed with, "We stay at each other's place almost every night, Stars Hollow is a good caring place, plus if we raise the baby right, they won't have very many secrets to know, Rory is in Stars Hollow a lot and the baby will have a relationship with its sister."

Luke took a deep breath, smiled and closed his eyes. "I guess," he opened his eyes and glanced back over to her, with a smile, he said "Thanks."

"How are we gonna tell Rory?" He asked, looking back at her again.

"She's coming home tomorrow, we'll tell her then, we should probably get telling the town out of the way now."

"I guess."

After that they were quiet, enjoying each other's company and thinking about their baby. And then they went down stairs
