The Gummiship left Olympus and their next destination was Radiant Garden to collect Aqua's keyblade and armor, The group took turns to explain everything to Hercules about the fate of Terra,Aqua, Ventus, Roxas and Namine and the plans of Master Xehanort.
"Im so Sorry about that Aqua, im just glad that your finally out of that dark and horrible place" Hercules said to Aqua.
"yes but now i have to find Terra and locate Ven's Heart." said Aqua before she felt a little tired.
"We won't be reaching Radiant Garden for at least another few hours, why don;t you fellas get some shut eye." said Mickey who was at the wheel of the Gummiship. Thats when they all heard snoring and they looked to see that Sora had already fallen asleep in his chair. "Lazy Bum" giggled Kairi. She then went to meditate like Merlin taught her,
/Sora's Heart/
Sora opened his eyes and saw that he was on a copy of Destiny Islands that was inside his heart. He smiled just thinking about his home when he saw the girl who looked like Kairi only she had black hair and was wearing the organization's coat. He smiled before he approached her on the tree. "Xion"
Xion turned to Sora before she smiled. "Sora, Your back so soon?"
"Of course, I did promise i would come and Visit you and Roxas." Sora smiled before he asked. "where is he anyway"
"Right Here Sora" Roxas said taking a spot next to him on the tree. He too was wearing his Organization three of them sat by the tree. listening to the waves of the water and watching the sunset. "Soon you two will have your own bodies,"
"But Sora, We gave up our lives so that you would wake up." Roxas said to him.
"I am grateful for that but you guys deserve to live just as much as i do, A chance to experience love and all sorts of other things, " Sora said to them. Roxas and Xion smiled to him after hearing those words. "Besides i know that Axel misses you guys and Kairi mentions that he starts crying whenever he is training with her."
"Because he is starting to remember me, when i merged with Roxas, Everyone that knew me lost their memories of me." Xion said. Roxas remembered that day as it was the same day he left the Organization to find Xion but lost to Riku and was placed in the Virtual Twilight Town.
"which means if we can bring you guys back, we can have the advantage against Xehanort," said Sora.
"But I want to have a shot at Xemnas, He's mine" said Roxas before he summoned Oblivion and Oathkeeper and Xion summoned a replica of Kingdom Key.
"Lets spar for a while and then you guys can try to talk to Axel and let him know that your okay" Sora said to the two. "Your on!" Roxas said before the three of them begin to spar on the beach.
/Kairi's Heart/
While Sora was sparing with Roxas in Xion inside his heart. Kairi was in her own Heart talking to her Nobody Namine. Her platform had a picture of her in her current attire and it was red and pink and in the bubbles was Sora, Riku, Mickey, Donald, Goofy, Namine and Aqua. Namine was slowly crying after Kairi told her about Axel keeps on breaking down. "She's alive," Naminé whispered, "I was wrong, she's alive…"
"Who's alive Naminé?" asked Kairi confused. Namine sighed before she said. "During the year that Sora slumbered to regain his memory. Vexen created a doll implanted with some of Sora's stolen memories, as a backup in case the Organization couldn't control Roxas. I thought that she would die when the memories were returned to Sora. And… I told her as much. That she would vanish, and… that nobody would remember her."
"oh Light" Kairi muttered in shock. She then hugs her nobody.
"Yes and her appearance was almost like yours Kairi because the memories that were stolen were Sora's strongest memories of you." Naminé said.
"what is her name?" asked Kairi.
"Her name is Xion." Naminé said before looking away, "Then perhaps this is my fate. To be joined with you again Kairi, I messed with Sora's memories and then took away the freedom of Roxas and Xion and you lost your memory of Sora for a year."
Kairi approached her Nobody and gave her a hug shocking her. "I don;t blame you Namine, You were being used by the Organization and Sora wouldn't want you to feel guilty over it. you are innocent in all of that"
Naminé smiled at her Somebody before a small flash came. She looked down to see that she was holding a Keyblade of her own. Her keyblade was pure white. The blade was much similar to the blade of Oblivion had only it was white and the teeth was an artist's palette. . The guard of the weapon was made of two angelic wings althought one wing was red and the keychain token was her sketchbook.
"Memory's Embrace" Naminé muttered looking at her blade before looking at her Somebody, "This time, with this Keyblade, I will stand with my friends and make things right for Roxas and Xion"
Kairi smiled at her Nobody before she heard the King's voice "Fella's wake up, were almost to Radiant Garden."
/Reality/
Kairi and Sora pened their eyes and saw that they were back in the Gummiship.
Kairi opened her eyes and saw that Lea were looking at them concerned. "How are things with Roxas and Namine?" asked Lea.
"Why don;t you ask me your self Axel" said Naminé becoming transparent sitting next to Kairi. "good yo see that your doing alright Naminé" Lea said.
Naminé noticed Hercules before he said. "You must be Naminé, Kairi's Nobody. My name is Hercules."
"It's nice to meet you although i wise i could shake your hand" Namine said with a small smile.
"Looking sharp Axel" Roxas said as he appeared next to Sora also transparent. Sora opened his eyes before he smiled which didn't go unnoticed by everyone else.
"Roxas" Lea said happy to see his friend.
"Oh, guess what guys," Kairi said getting their attention.
"what is it Kairi?" asked Sora.
Naminé opened her hand and summoned Memory's Embrace stunning the team on seeing her blade. "You have a Keyblade Namine" Lea exclaimed.
"Yes after all since i am Kairi's Nobody and she has a Keyblade so i must have gotten it from her" Naminé said before dismissing her weapon. "That's great, we now have another Guardian of Light for the clash with Master Xehanort." said Mickey. lea then had a smile before he reached into the small frigde behind him and he pulled out several ice cream bars. "Here, to celebrate our victory in Olympus"
"Ice Cream!" said Kairi before taking one, soon the others minus Roxas and Namine since they were transparent got one and took a bite. "Salty but Sweet, wow this is good, everyone back home would love this" Hercules said taking another bite from his.
"Hey Roxas?"Lea asked Roxas, "Does something about this seem strange to you?"
Roxas cocked an eyebrow. "Other than the fact that I'm currently living in Sora's Heart."
"Yeah, besides that. This is exactly what we used to do, but it feels like something's missing. And before you start, it's not the ice cream " he added with a gentle warning glance to head off the inevitable snark. Roxas had learned well from him.
"The two of us on a tower at sunset. What else could be missing?" Roxas said. "Aside from the ice cream."
Something was itching at the back of Lea's skull, something that he knew was important but that avoided all attempts he made to nail it down. ", I felt like I was forgetting something. The phrase 'the two of us' just sounds… I don't know, wrong to me. And I don't know why."
"Like it wasn't just the two of us?" Roxas asked, quietly.
"…I know it was just us two, but that sounds wrong. Saying it out loud, thinking about it, something's missing. Like there's a hole or something in my memory." Lea said scratching his head.
"That might be because there is Axel" Roxas said.
Lea turned to look at his friend. "What do you mean?"
"If it feels like you've forgotten something important, it's because you have. We all did, except Naminé." Roxas said looking at the blonde who smiled own tears were visible feeling guilty to what she did to Sora, Xion and Roxas
"What did we forget?" Lea asked, confused and concerned.
"Not a what Axel." Roxas said.
"…no, it's a who, isn't it." There was a certainty to the idea in Lea's mind. "Who did we forget, Roxas?"
Roxas turned to meet his eyes. "Her name is Xion."
And there was a sudden pain in Lea's skull as the memory floodgates opened, and the image of a black-haired girl Roxas's age seared itself back into his consciousness. Once he only thought of her as a puppet, but eventually became able to see her the same way Roxas had; as her own person, who may had grown her own heart just like the words, drawn weapons, seashells, ice cream, worry, laughter, threats, promises, none of which he realized he had forgotten, all came rushing back, filling holes he didn't know were empty. There was another promise to a friend he couldn't keep. even Riku, Ansem the Wise remembered her now. The failsafe in case Roxas lost the ability to wield the keyblade. She was number fourteen in the original Organization.
"I'll always be there… to bring you back," he whispered, now understanding that the "you" had been plural.
"Roxas, what happened to her? Why couldn't I remember her until you said her name?" he asked as his tears were falling.
Tears misted in the corner of Roxas's eyes. He asked "You remember when the Organization set us against one another, Xemnas and Saix told us to 'eliminate the enemy' that was each other in disguise?"
"Yeah." Lea answered him.
"Well… apparently it was always going to come down to that." Roxas continued on to talk about how Xion had taken on Sora's appearance in full, and had forced him to fight her until he killed her. "She was made from Sora's memories, and those memories had to go back to him. She had accepted that, and thought that if she sacrificed herself, I could survive. Which, as we're both aware, was not the case," he said, with a humorless laugh. "She said she was glad she was able to meet the both of us, and died in my arms. Then the memories returned to Sora, and she vanished, like she never existed. And our memories of her faded, like everyone's who ever met her." A single tear rolled down the side of his face. He didn't seem to notice. Everyone was silent just letting the two catch up.
Lea then said, "that's a bunch of bull. She was her own person, with her own life, and her own memories. Those didn't just vanish with her! She was a real person, who cares if she 'came from Sora's memories' or whatever?! There was enough of her that was distinctly her, that was Xion, not clone of Sora's memories'
"I watched her die in my arms Axel." Roxas said with guilt.
"The hell you did, Roxas! If you had a heart, then Xion definitely had a heart, too! You didn't disappear when you went back to Sora, so she has to be alive?!" Lea was feeling anger, real, not mimicked, genuine anger for the first time since he'd come back to himself. It felt good, to feel. Riku noticed that Sora was smiling at Lea because he had his back turned to him as Xion appeared next to him also transparent like Roxas. Everyone went wide eye on seeing her before she placed her fingers to her lips.a smile on her face.
he has to still be out there, somewhere. And we're going to find her and bring her back." Lea exclaimed.
"Find her?" Roxas asked still acting that Xion hadn;t appeared next to Sora. "How? Her body's gone, Axel."
"I don't care. What's the point of a Keyblade if I can't help my friends? 'So long as you champion the ones you love,' got it memorized? I made a promise, and I'm going to bring the both of you back." Lea Declared wanting to find Xion.
"Do you really mean everything you said Axel" Xion speaking now catching the pyro off guard who turned to look at her. Lea shocked to see that Xion was alive and also transparent like Roxas. He asked"Xion?"
"Yep." she smirked.
"You're inside Sora, too?" he asked.
"I sure am and still alive." Xion said with small smile.
"Good.. Would you mind, you know, explaining?" Lea asked as he sat back down in his chair.
The girl laughed and sat beside him and Roxas on the other side of him in two smaller chairs "Basically, you're right. Despite everything, I did have a heart of my own. When I died," and she patted his arm as he flinched, "my heart latched on to Roxas's. When he went back to Sora, I came with him, and here I am."
Lea then punched Roxas on the arm only his fist went though him. "That is for making me think that Xion is Dead!"
"Relax Lea" Roxas said with a laugh.
"Lea?" asked Xion raising an eyebrow.
"Yeah my real name. got it Memorized." Lea said making the three laugh. it was like old times for them during their days in the Organization.
The smile slid off of Lea's face. "Look, uh… I'm sorry for–"
"Don't start," Xion cut him off. "Forgetting me wasn't your fault. Besides, you were ready at a moment's notice to find me again the second you thought my death sounded suspect. It means a lot."
"Not just for that. For everything I did while we were in the Organization. If I hadn't brought you back."
"Someone else would have. And they might have actually killed me. You're forgiven, Lea." Xion assumed him.
He looked up in surprise. "Oh. That's… okay. A bit unexpected that you would just forgive me on the spot."
Xion smiled. "We're friends. Best friends. Friends forgive each other. It all turned out okay, anyway. I can still be with the two of you once we find a way to get our own bodies."
"And we will help anyway we can, right guys" Sora said now talking earning a nod from the others. that's when they saw Radiant Garden in the distance, it had been fully restored back to the way it was before the Fall. Sora leaned in to whisper in Kairi's ear. "Welcome home Kai"
She looks back at him before she shook her head. "I may have been born here Sora but my home is with you and Riku at the islands."
Sora smiled big to her as Mickey took the ship down into the world. Mickey brought the ship to a small hanger where other Gummiships were parked. The group disembarked the ship before looking around the world. "Home at last" said Ansem the Wise.
"We should go check in with Leon and the others." said Sora earning a nod from the others. They walked away from the highwind and towards the city gate where several men wearing clothe much to the guards old uniform. They bowed their heads to them before arriving to the main square. Kairi then had a small flashback to when she was a little girl, She was picking flowers with her grandma.
they went up the stairs to the castle's gate. standing at the gates was Ienzo, the Sombody of Zexion, Aeleus, The Somebody of Lexaeus and Dilan, The Somebody of Xaldin.
"Welcome back to Radiant Garden King Mickey" said Ienzo with a small bow.
"Zexion?" asked Riku making the others confused. Ienzo looked at Sora and them before he said with a small bow. "you may not know me Sora, but i was once Zexion,"
"and i along with Dilan were known as Lexeaus and Xaldin and Even as Vexen." Lexaeus said with a small bow.
"It;s okay, all you guys wanted was your hearts back" Sora said making the three smile to him.
"Ienzo…" Ansem the Wise stepped forward, much to the surprise of the three former nobodies. "Dilan, Aeleus… It is good to see you."
"L-lord Ansem!?" exclaimed the three
"We found him in the Realm of Darkness, and we thought we'd bring him home." Mickey said with a smile.
"Thank you." Dilan approached. "We did not know what had befallen him, and we were worried." The three men all bowed before their lead. "Lord Ansem, we must first apologize for what we did to you during our time in the organization… and this apology extends to everyone else gathered here."
Ansem looked down at them and smiled. "All is forgiven, for you were not truly yourselves. Now, let us set to bringing our home back to its glory, together." The three all straightened up and smiled, even Dilan and Aeleus.
"Come, we are here to retrieve Master Aqua's gear" said Ansem leading them into the castle and to his study once there they encountered Even who was in the middle of workong on something. "Lord Ansem, We are happy to have you back with us again." Even bowed his head in shame.
"All is forgiven Even," Ansem replied before he pressed a few keys to reveal a hidden case of stairs. Ansem and Aqua went down the stairs while Riku and Mickey looked at Even amd Ienzo who continued their work. "What are you working on Even?" asked Mickey.
"Ever since i returned, i have been working on these and with Xehanort back, you guardians are going to need all the help you can get so i and Ienzo have been working on them" said Even pulling the tarp back to reveal two lifeless bodies. "Replicas" Riku exclaimed.
"Replicas?" asked Jiminy on soras shoulder.
"There basically Human." said Riku.
"What do you mean by that Riku?" asked Hercules.
"The previous Organization developed Replicas, Realistic Vessels to place hearts in. There so Real that you would mistake them for actual people" said Riku placing his hand over his heart.
"And it was Vexen who originally discovered the Replica Program by the order of Xemnas" said Lea. Even nodded to him.
"Wait, you guys, what if there after Replicas too" Sora said looking at his friends. That made everyone look at Sora with wide eyes.
"You may be right Sora. Xehanort must be using the Replicas to fill in his ranks to bring his Thirteen here from the past. We must be ready." said Mickey.
"Yes, i do recall before i woke up. Xigbar or rather Braig had come and stolen all my research of Replicas but i was glad to have a secondary file. and so far i have two Replicas almost halfway completed" said Even.
"You better make another on Even, For we have another one that is in need of a body" said Ansem the Wise coming back with Aqua from retrieving her gear. "And who may that be?" asked Even.
"For Xion" said Riku when the three former members of the Organization clutch their heads. their memories of Xion coming back to them.
"You mean Replica no.1?" Even asked, rubbing his head. "Our backup plan in case Roxas couldn't cut it and our plan with Sora failed?"
"Yes and she is much alive and is inside of my heart without her own body" Sora said.
"That reminds me Sora, I have some data that i have given Riku that i hide within your heart" said Ansem the Wise before going over to the computer and putting a disk into the slot. "Greetings users," said a familiar voice to Sora, Donald and Goofy.
"Tron!" the three said.
"Sora, Donald and Goofy, glad to hear from you three again" said Tron.
"It may take us some time to anaylze the Data and what it holds due to my memory but it will return, we will let you know when we get the results."said Ansem the Wise.
"That reminds us, Leon and the other members of the Restoration Commitee are in Merlins house, they would probably want to see you all asap" said Even.
The Guardians nodded before they left the castle with Ansem going back though the central Square and up the Marketplace, they arrived to Merlin's house which was now a two story manor. "Wow looks like Merlin got an upgrade since we were last here" Donald said.
Kairi continued to walk until she accidentally bumped into a trash can knocking it down and making a mess, That's when a small robot came out of nowhere and began to clean up the garbage and crushed it all into a cube. The robot grabs the cube and puts it in a small hole near the garbage can. The Robot went back to Kairi before it offered it's hand to her. "Wall-e" said the robot.
"Hi Wall-e" said Kairi before shaking Wall-e's hand. "I see that you guys met Wall-e" said a familiar voice. The group looks up to see 17-year-old girl. She wore a black headband with white lining, an unzipped, dark grey combat vest with a black strap dangling from the right pocket overtop a navy blue tank top with white floral designs. She also wore a white wristband on her right wrist and a grey, fingerless glove on her left arm. Her shorts were slightly darker and had another black strap dangling from the left side. She also wore black, over-the-knee socks with white stripes at the top underneath dark tan sneaker boots that are knee-high in length. It was the ninja, Yuffie Kisaragi.
. "Yuffie!" Sora exclaimed.
She jumped down before she grinned. "I see that your still in top shape. "It's just great to see you again!" She immediately wrapped Sora, Donald And Goofy in tight hugs.
"Good to see you too, Yuffie," Sora said.
Yuffie leapt in front of Kairi and planted her face a few uncomfortable inches from hers. "Kairi, right?" she asked. The two girls had met briefly before in Traverse Town after Sora had saved her. She had been too worried about him to really get to know her, though. She nodded.
"Good to see you again!" Yuffie beamed, and hugged her in turn. "You've really grown!"
Seconds later, she noticed Riku. Her eyes lit up, and she bounced over to him. She stood on her toes and looked him directly in the eyes. It wasn't hard since their faces were only an inch apart.
"And you must be Riku, right?" She asked.
"Yeah, soras told me about you guys." Said Riku.
"Follow me, the others have been waiting!" She set off at a fast pace towards Merlin's house, with a bounce in her step. The others followed..
Everyone made it to Merlin's house, which was much larger than it used to be.
Yuffie pushed the door open. The area they were in had a wide, circular table surrounded by chairs in the center. A large, crystal chandelier hung above the table, filling the room with soft, golden light. There was a large window on the opposite side. Deep blue velvet curtains currently covered it. The white walls were adorned with various charts, everyone saw one that looked like an intergalactic map.
All of this entered Sora's mind before he was tackled to the ground by a small, blue creature shouting, "ALOHA!"
"STITCH!" he shouted in between laughs and licks, trying to shake the tiny thing off. He was soon covered in greenish alien saliva. "Please, please, stop! I missed you too! Alright enough!"
Stitch hopped off and landed on two legs. He bore a huge, toothy grin, laughed crazily, and jumped onto the table. Riku pulled Sora to his feet. Though he regretted it when his hand came away green and sticky.
"You get used to it eventually." Sora muttered.
"Or you have a psychotic episode." Someone muttered, darkly.
"Let me help you with that, my boy." Said the white-bearded old wizard sitting at the table. He flicked his wand, and the goo covering Sora vanished. Another flick, and Riku's hand was clean as well.
"Thanks, Merlin." Sora replied.
"Experiment 626?" said Aqua looking at Stitch getting on her knees to be eye level with the alien.
Stitch looked at her before he replied. "Stitch, My name is Stitch"
"Oh, Sorry stitch, glad to see that you made some friends" Aqua said putting her hand on his head.
Their young ninja friend walked in and addressed the assembled people. "Just in case you've been struck blind, deaf, and dumb-er while I was gone, Sora and the others are here."
This is Riku and Kairi, my best friends" Sora said, he clapped a hand on his friends shoulders. Sora looked at all of the old and new faces in the building.
One was a tall 27-year-old man with long brown hair, blue eyes and a scar that ran diagonally across the bridge of his nose. He wore black gloves, black, zipper-lined shoes, a silver Griever necklace, a white undershirt, a short-sleeved black jacket with a white fur collar, red wings on the back and a red Griever symbol on each shoulder, three brown belts on his left forearm, three buckles on his right thigh, black pants also sporting a vertical zipper going down the side of each leg, and wore two brown belts and two black ones around his hips, all of which were quite loose except for one, a worn black one. It was Squall Leonhart, or as he preferred to be called, Leon.
He is seen with a woman about the same age as Leon with shoulder-length black hair features caramel highlights on both sides of her face. Her eyes are dark brown. She wears an off-white halter dress, her signature necklace, a bracelet on her right wrist, and white shoes. Her name is Rinoa Heartily.
One was a 23-year-old girl with green eyes and light brown hair styled into a braid down her back, with curls on either side of her face. She wore a carmine pink and white top held up by a string that wrapped around her neck. Underneath this top, she wore a pink dress with a horizontal white stripe near the bottom. She wore yet another dress underneath the first one, this dress being white and slightly longer than the first. She also wore a pink ribbon on her head like a headband and brown boots. It was the flower girl and nurse, Aerith Gainsborough.
Another was a 43-year-old man with blonde hair, blue eyes, stubble on his chin, and a toothpick in his mouth. He wore goggles and wore a necklace with a rectangular charm. He also wore a white T-shirt with two buttons descending from the neck. His baggy pants were blue and have a very wide, orange waistband with thin, vertical stripes on it. His pants were worn rather high, with the waistband coming up to just under his ribcage. He also wore grey socks and black shoes. It was Cid Highwind, a Gummiship pilot.
Another is a 20 year old girl with long black hair that looked like a dolphin tail, she wears a white tank top and black miniskirt with a belt and suspenders. She dons red and black gloves that extend to her elbows, red boots, black socks, and a metal guard on her left elbow. In Remake, her skirt has pleated segments (similar to a tennis skirt) to make it easier for her to perform her martial arts, she wears black shorts underneath, and a black sports bra under her white tank top. She wears black leather gloves with metal plates on the back and knuckles, while the elbow pad on her left arm has been supplemented by a red-and-black leather vambrace that has Norse runes on the edging . The red sections of her vambrace and the larger metal plates on the back of her gloves have runes engraved on them. She wears a pair of black and red boots with black leg protectors (similar to a gymnast's outfit). She also has a scar across her lower chest from when Sephiroth attacked her, though this is never shown on-screen. Her name is Tifa Lockhart-Strife.
Another is a heavy-set, muscular dark-skinned man about the age of 35. His right arm was mangled in the loss of his hometown to the Heartless, and has been replaced with his weapon, the gun-arm, which lets him interchange various weapon attachments to it. He has several bands of metal around his waist, and a tattoo of a skull on his left shoulder. His hair is cut similar to a hi-top fade. He has a thick beard, as well as two dog tags around his neck. He has three scars on his right cheek. He also wears a silver hoop earring in his left ear. His attire in his original appearance is a dirty brown vest, green pants, and large brown boots, as well as several bonds of metal on his remaining arm. In Final Fantasy VII Remake, a few modifications are made to this: Barret now wears sunglasses (that possibly serve as ballistic eyewear), a black tank under his vest (with visible chest hair), cargo style pants, and zipper-black styled boots. On his remaining arm, he wears a leather bracer with small metal plates strapped on top of it instead of the simple bonds of metal, and his basic gun-arm resembles a modern rotary-style machine gun. His name is Barret Wallace, a close friend of Cloud and Tifa,
and finally is a quadrupedal animal with dark red and orange fur and a thin brown mane. His right eye is scarred, and the remaining eye is ochre. He is adorned with a variety of beads, earrings and feathers around his head, with golden pastern braces and brands on his legs. He also has the roman numeral "XIII" tattooed on his shoulder. The tip of his tail burns, and he seems able to control the has black patterns on his legs and what appears to be face paint. He has tattoos on his shoulder and thigh, and as his father also has a similar one , these tattoos can be taken to be cultural to their tribe. The XIII tattoo, meanwhile, was placed on him by Hojo, he wears a collar that can hold materia. this is Nanaki or rather Red 13. another friend of Clouds.
"Sora! Donald! Goofy!" Tifa greeted as she saw them. She grabs the three into a hug before letting them go, . "Welcome back, guys!"
"Any luck finding Cloud?" Goofy asked.
" we're just got married not to long ago," said Tifa,
"Congraduations!" Said Sora, Donald and Goofy. Donald then looked down. "Sorry we missed the wedding."
"It's alright, you guys had your own thing going on at the time. He's in fact doing something for the committee right now and couldn't make it to the meeting" said Tifa with a soft smile.
"hey there!" said Nanaki.
"ahh! that cat is talking!" exclaimed Lea.
"eh ive seen weirder" said Donald.
"im Nanaki, i help Barret and Tifa with fighting Heartless in the city. ive heard all that you guys did for Radiant Garden." said Nanaki.
"nice to meet You Nanaki" said Sora. the others introduce themselves to Nanaki.
Genie went next at greetings, "Sora, Donald, Goofy...uh, YOU Two!" He vanished in a cloud of purple smoke and reappeared directly behind the five of them. He wrapped them all from behind in a crushing hug and flew around the room with them still in his arms. "Oh I missed you –and am happy to meet you- SO MUCH!" There was another puff of smoke, and they were back in their original positions. Everyone looked dizzy after being hugged by the Genie.
That made everyone except for the seekers laugh at the Genie.
Lea held his sides and laughed loudly. Aqua giggled herself, as she'd never met the hyperactive and lovable Genie. Even Ansem chuckled before Genie appeared and did the same thing to them,
Leon strode forward and shook their hands, offering his congratulations on their success with defeating Organization XII.
"I'm glad to see that you've made some progress here," Sora replied.
"You're too kind," Leon smirked.
Aerith hugged them and Cid gave Sora a rough pat on the back.
Yuffie interjected. "Now that you've all finished reuniting with old friends, you have yet to meet the newcomers." She turned her head to the woman seated next to Leon, whom Sora was starting to believe was his girlfriend. She stood up and walked forward to meet them.
"Rinoa Heartilly." She said with a smile. She shook hands with all of them. Rinoa seemed like a kind, happy woman, and he couldn't help but wonder how she fell for Leon. "'Leon' has told me a lot about you all!"
"And what exactly did he say?" Donald asked suspiciously. Rinoa only smiled and returned to her seat.
The large black man walked over to them. "The name's Barret Wallace, boys, don't you forget it," He told them. He then offered his hand for Sora to shake which he did, Stitch who immediately burst out laughing at Barret for some reason,
Barret snarled and pointed his arm at the ceiling. His armgun started to spin around ready to fire. He aimed it at Stitch and shouted, "Just give me two seconds with that ball 'a fur!"
In response, said "ball 'a fur" growled, pulled out one of his laser pistols, and said something along the lines of "Meega natha queesta!"
"Down, boys!" Merlin said. Both of them were immediately knocked to their knees by some invisible force. Stitch flew the whole distance to the floor (about twenty feet), and smushed his face against the floor. "That will be quite enough."
"Um, good to meet you, Barret." Sora said, while the man massaged his chin.
"Likewise," He grunted before going back to Tifa and Aerith. Genie came floating back with Stitch since they were together.
", i got left out of the fight with jafar and now your going mano-e-Mano with this Xehanort Guy" said Genie.
"Say, how is Aladdin and Jasmine doing anyway Genie?" asked Sora.
"There doing great, there getting married very soon and I wanted to tell you're all invited to the wedding!" Genie exclaimed.
"Really a wedding.." the girls exclaimed on hearing that.
"Glad to hear that Genie" Sora said happy to hear the good news.
The group then took their seats at the table to begin the meeting.
"Now as you all know, War is coming. Master Xehanort, the one who was behind the destruction of many worlds has returned and has declared war on the realm of light." said Yen Sid.
"We know, Lea told us what happened in the Realm of Sleep" said Leon. Sora bowed his head still a bit shamed that he messed uo his mark of Mastery exam even though it wasn't his fault. . Yen Sid turned his attention to Sora before he asked. "Now Sora, were you able to find out how to recover your lost power?"
Yeah, I know what i need to do Master" said Sora placing his hands over his heart. Yen Sid nodded before he waved his hands and in front of the five wielders did a suitcase appear.
"The Three good fairies have made you all new clothes. these clothes will help protect you against the Darkness." Yen Sid said.
The five took the suitcases and set them down beside their feet. "Also Sora, One more thing i want you to have" Yen Sid said waving his hand as a strange talisman appered in his hand. "Okay?" Sora said looking at the Talisman and saw a dream eater symbol on it. "That is a Heartbinder, Think of it as a Good luck charm made just for you, You have a gift Sora, For connecting with others and will make this gift stronger" Yen Sid explained. Sora held the Heartbinder close to him.
"The stars have also told me that we may be dealing with another force of darkness" said Yen Sid,
"But who? Maleficent and Pete?" Asked Mickey,
"No ... .the Stars have told me that this threat comes from a man in a Black coat and his accomplice" said Yen Sid. His magic then showed the hooded figure speaking with Akirix,
"Guarsh. I guess we have more enemies to deal, with than we thought." Said Goofy.
"her again" said Kairi.
"We ran into that Girl back on Olympus, we should defiantly keep an eye out for her and this man in the black coat." said Lea,
"I agree. But you should all seek a place to train,..perhaps Disney Castle shall serve as your base of Operations." Said Yen Sid,
"That's actually a great idea Master. The Cornerstone of Light keeps all with dark intentions out." Said Mickey,
Jiminy appeared on the table before everyone. "Now, to share with all of you. Chip, Dale and I have created a new item called a Gummiphone, with this we can communicate from different worlds." said Jiminy handing the guardians of light there own Gummiphones minus Genie.
"And don;t you worry Hercules, before we left Olympus, i gave Meg, Phil and your parents one too so that we can keep in contact," Jiminy said to Hercules making him smile at the cricket. He handed the Greek hero one that had a lightning bolt on it.
Kairi grabbed the pink one, Riku took a silver one, Axel picked orange, Aqua chose lavender, Mickey chose gold, Donald picked blue, and Goofy picked green. And Sora's was red.
"Cool!" Sora grinned. "How does it work?"
"Well, here, lemme show ya," said Jiminy.
The next few minutes were spent showing how a GummiPhone worked.
"Wait, what's Classic Kingdom?" Sora asked.
"Oh, we'll show you that one, later and you can take pictures with these phones too" said Yuffie. Soon it came time for dinner which everyone ate and chat getting to know each other.
once dinner was done did Leon show them to their rooms down a corridor. Everyone had their own rooms which were next to each other. They all bid each other good night,
That night while everyone was sound asleep. In Kairis room . the princess of heart was sound asleep when Holgar appeared transparent. Holgar looked at the future Queen before he grunted, an orb of light before taking the form of a pure white phoenix with blue eyes. Blue heart shaped gems were in its wings and chest.
One more creature appeared in the room. the second creature is the giant Nobody dragon Sora and Riku fought in the World that Never Was. a giant machine like dragon. The dragon's wings are thin, angular, and each is emblazoned with a black Nobody symbol at the joint. Each wing also has several thin, black and white "feathers" with tips resembling the Nobody logo. Its thin arms end in three-fingered, segmented hands and each arm is lined by four blue diamond-shaped spikes of increasingly smaller size. In place of legs, the Dragon has two massive, conical engines with two smaller engines on either side of the main ones. It also has a long, thin tail with four conical objects connected to its tip. The dragon is predominantly colored in light shades of silver and metallic blue. The dragon looked at Holgar and the Phoenix who in turn nodded. Holgar is then encased in a dark purple light just as the bird is encased in a blue light. their energies then connected before they clashed. creating a bright light that could be seen from outside much to the guards confusion. when the light died down. holgar and the two monsters looked to see that floating above the sleeping Kairi is a weapon like no other.
It was made of two crossing keyshape blades with the blades golden and the hilt silver. The fillagree wings of the weapon glowed blue and a Silver blade connected to it. Connected to the chain was a keychain token with a blue heart. two more golden keyshaped blades crossed over it.
The X Blade D after being incomplete for the last thousand years turned into an orb of light and descended into Kairis Chest. namine who is also sleeping never noticec the orb as it joined with her heart,
the three beasts then vanished away their job done until they were called for.
/Kairis Dream/
Kairi was floating in an endless abyss of darkness when a blinding light made her sheild her eyes. opening her eyes, She saw that she was in a small room and in the bed was a Woman with Dark Red hair like hers and standing right beside the bed was a man with black hair as well and ocean blue eyes. He was wearing glasses. She even saw her Grandma and Ansem the Wise in the room also surrounding the bed. "who?" asked Kairi when she heard a baby. Her eyes widen when she saw the woman was holding a baby girl with a tuff of red hair and ocean blue eyes like her. Her eyes began to water when the man spoke.
"she's Beautiful," said the man with tears in his eyes.
"our little Kairi, She has my nose and hair but she has your eyes my love" said the woman before she kissed the man on the lips.
Kairi's tears began to form in her eyes. "Mom, Dad"
"My granddaughter, she is so beautiful" Kairi's grandmother said with her own tears.
"Yes she is mother" Ansem the Wise said with pride looking at his new born niece when He heard footsteps when Aeleus, Dilan, Braig, and Even came in to see the newborn baby, "spread the word, Today is a wonderful day Nathan and Lucys daughter , Kairi hart has been born and we are going to celebrate. Our princess has been born"
"As you wise Lord Ansem" Braig said with a bow as the three men left.
/Soras Dream/
Sora woke up to see that he was in an endless plane of Sea and Sky. The sky was clear and blue. "where in the world am i?" asked Sora before he began to walk around looking for someone until he heard. "Can't stay away now can ya?"
Sora looking around asked. "Hello? who's there?"
A small light came down and landed in front of Sora to reveal a cat-like, anthropomorphic Dream Eater with a pouch. "The name's Chirithy and this place is the Final World" Chirithy said.
"I'm Sora. What is the Final World?" he asked.
This place is between the Station of Awakening and the realm of Sleep. You wandered here many times before but i let it slide. The edges of sleep and Death touch here and one can't help the occasional crossover" said Chirithy.
"Death?" asked Sora.
'Yes, The natural end for Hearts and bodies that perished together. but some persist and arrive here like me" said Chirithy.
"Wait! im dead!" Sora exclaimed looking at his body and saw his body was normal.
"No, No, your okay, your sleeping at the moment. you accidentally crossed over again in your sleep" said Chirithy earning a sigh from Sora. Sora then sat down next to Chirithy. "So are you waiting for someone here?" asked Sora.
"Yes but i doubt Ventus doesn't remember me." Chirithy said with a bit of Sadness.
"Wait you know Ventus" Sora asked in shock before he told Chirithy of Ventus's fate and about the upcoming war with Master Xehanort.
"Ventus lost his heart and Aqua, one of his friends put his body in a safe place while you all are searching for his heart and Terra?" asked Chirithy in shock. Was that the reason why he never came looking for her. because he was in a coma.
"That;s right." Sora said with a nod. "Why don;t you come with me, I'll take you to Ventus once we find his heart."
The Dream Eaters eyes widen before she asked. "You would do that for me, Take me with you to find Ventus?"
"Of course, Were friends right?" asked Sora with his genuine smile. Chirithy's eyes sparkled before she hugged his chest happy to have a new friend in so long.

Next chapter will be Twilight Town. I plan to have Tifa, Yuffie, Barret and Red13 join them in their quest to help train the guardians.
