Currently, through the streets of Kuri, the retainers of Kozuki Oden were currently running through any obstacle they could go through as fast as they could as they tried to reach wherever their Lord was running off to.
"Jaune, what port were the pirates spotted in?"asked Kin'emon as Jaune was the only one who knew as he was the one who gave the report to Lord Oden in the first place.
"Itachi Port!"said Jaune, who felt like he had just committed a major blunder as he had forgotten his Lord's dream.
"He's just going there to chase off the pirates, right?"said Kanjuro with much optimism.
"Dont be a fool! I'm sure you're aware of Lord Oden's dream!"said Izo, while everyone was running to the port as fast as they possibly could to try to stop Oden from sailing away with the pirates, since they were sure that's what he was up to.
One doesn't live with the man for so many years and does not know how his mind ticks.
Meanwhile Oden had arrived at Itachi port and there he saw the Whitebeard pirates discussing who would go deeper into the island to get supplies like food and stuff they would need to repair the ship when there captain Whitebeard noticed him.
"Hey, back up everyone, someone's coming!"ordered Whitebeard as he grabbed Murakumogiri, his personal weapon and one of the twelve supreme grade blades of the meito class, making Murakumogiri one of the most powerful weapons in the existence of the world.
"I have been waiting for this day for a long time! Welcome! Through bad weather and the falls, I'm glad you made it here! PIRATES!"exclaimed Oden with joy as he jumped in the air and bent his arms back in preparation to swing Enma and Ame no Habakiri.
Whitebeard noticed this, and he quickly thrust Murakumogiri to intercept Oden's on coming attack as the rest of the Whitebeard pirates were still confused by what is happening until they saw Oden and Whitebeard's weapons clash.
Oden swung Ame no Habakiri and Enma with great force just as Whitebeard thrusted Murakomogiri, causing all three great weapons to clash at the same time creating a powerful shock wave of force and power that caused the ocean behind them to start to bend to the will of force being applied to it!
Jaune and the others felt a surge as they felt a strong wind blowing towards them as they were reaching Itachi port.
'Lord Oden must be fighting the pirates already! This wind can only mean that someone managed to clash with an even amount of power to Oden! Whoever he's currently fighting has to be crazy strong!' thought Jaune as he and the other retainers pressed on towards Itachi port.
Oden, meanwhile, was laughing, which was confusing Whitebeard during their class as he didn't understand who this man who tried to attack him was laughing.
"You stopped my swords! Impressive!"said Oden with joy as it's been a long while since someone has been able to take a full-on swing from his blades.
Whitebeard didn't appear as amused as he quickly pushed Oden back as the Lord of Kuri decided to prepare for his next attack as he was free falling from the air and landed on his feet!
"Old man, your awesome!"
"How dare you mock Pops! I'll make you pay for that!"said Marco with anger at someone who dared to mock his captain as Kin'emon and the rest of Oden's Samurai arrived at Itachi port.
"Lord Oden! The report was right, they're pirates!"said Kin'emon as he and everyone else was arriving to the scene.
"Don't get in my way, Kin'emon!"said Oden as he didn't want anyone to interrupt his battle.
Kin'emon, Jaune, and the other stopped in their tracks as soon as they heard this as they could tell by the expression on his face that Oden was serious and he did not want to be interrupted!
"He's underestimating me."said Whitebeard with a smile as he wondered when was the last time that someone looked down on him of all people!
"Bring it on! You punk!"said Whitebeard as he charged towards Oden with great speed as Oden did the same!
Clashing of weapons could be heard as the three great weapons clashed with one another with great force as they were hitting each other so hard that at times when their weapons clashed tiny sparks could be seen at great distances
Many from both sides were surprised that it has been a while since anyone has managed to stand toward to tow with their respective leaders! Oden's Samurai were shocked that someone was actually able to stand toe to toe with Oden as not even the Mountain God or the infamous Ashura Doji could have lasted this long let alone push their Lord back!
Whitebeard's side was just as shocked as only a handful of people in the whole world could stand up to their captain, those included the King of the pirates Gold Roger, the hero of the Navy Monkey D Garp, King of the Beasts Kaido, Big Mom Charlotte Linin, and the Admiral Sengoku. So the fact that this man who they have never heard of until today is managing to stand toe to toe with the strongest man on the planet was certainly astounding!
Oden, meanwhile, was pushed back by Whitebeard, but the hot-headed warrior easily managed to gain traction on the ground and charge towards Whitebeard once again with a smile of glee on his face!
"I have been waiting for someone like you! My name is Kozuki Oden! I don't know who you are, but let me ride… on your ship!"said Oden as he was determined to leave with these pirates and see the world for himself as he was sick of being stuck on this "small" island.
Whitebeard wasn't expecting this and was cut off guard, but he quickly regained focused as soon as he noticed Oden jumping into the air and preparing his next attack. Oden Meanwhile unleashed his Ryuo into this blades as these muscles contracted and bulged as Enma and Ame no Habakiri were coated in Ryuo to make them stronger!
"Oden two sword style! Paradise Waterfall!" exclaimed Oden as he swung his blades towards Whitebeard with great force.
Whitebeard meanwhile knew that he needed to step up his game, so he focused a bubble of energy onto his left fist and swung it towards Oden and his oncoming attack.
'Devil fruit powers?!' thought Jaune as he remembered reading that in one of the books from the archives at the flower capital.
Most people of Wano Country didn't know anything about devil fruits and when one of them found one and ate one they ended up calling it a jutsu as they had no idea eating that the foul tasting fruit gave them a special power in exchange for their ability to swim.
The Kozuki clan had detailed records deep in their archives and the only reason Jaune knew any of this is because he was in charge of making sure Oden was okay in the archive room when they went to the Flower Capital and he read a book detailing the limited information of devil fruits he found in the archive room as he was waiting for Oden, who was busy looking at maps of the known world!
Meanwhile, Whitebeard and Oden's fierce class created a powerful gust of wind and energy, and Ryuo and devil fruit powers clash with their respective users trying to overpower the other! Whitebeard ended up being the one that came out on top as he bypassed Oden's swords and struck the Diamyo of Kuri in the face with full force with his devil fruit power creating a literal crack in the air!
'No doubt about it. Those are devil fruit powers!' thought Jaune as that was the only explanation he could think of for what he was seeing before him as Oden was launched into the air and fell on his back.
Luckily because of his extremely sturdy body the only damage he really suffered was a bruise to his cheek, it still hurt as it was clear from his grunts of pain as he arose his upper body as Whitebeard approached him.
"You're annoying! Get out of my sight!"ordered Whitebeard, as Oden simply smiled at him.
Kin'emon meanwhile approached Whitebeard and his crew from behind as he decided to confront the large pirate captain for his arrogance and disrespect to his Lord.
"Damn you! Who do you think he is?! He is the Daimyo of Kuri, Lord Kozuki Oden!"said Kin'emon, as he was upset that the man he respected so much was being disrespected.
"Do you know the consequences of pointing a sword at him?!"asked Kin'emon with anger, as hurting someone directly related to the Shogun was a crime punishable by death
'I don't think he cares, Kin'emon.' thought Jaune as he was clear on the large man's expression that he honestly could have cared less what Kin'emon was saying.
"He's a Daimyo?"asked Whitebeard, who found it hard to believe.
"You damn pirates! Get out of this country now!"yelled Izo as he wanted these no-good pirates to return from wherever they came from.
"Screw you! I'll show you what happens when you mess with the Whitebeard pirates!"said Marco as everyone from both sides was preparing to attack one another.
'We are outnumbered, and we don't know exactly what these pirates are capable of! Maybe we can talk this out without any bloodshed.' thought Jaune as he pulled out his katana and held it directly towards the pirates.
He knew that they were at a major disadvantage as it was only a handful of them while the pirates outnumbered them ten to one! Also it didn't settle Jaune's gut knowing the fact that they didn't know what the other pirates were capable of as he suspected at least several other members of the crew had devil fruit powers as well!
'I guess I have to be ready to fight if talks break down!" thought Jaune as both sides were waiting for the other to make the first move before someone broke that silence.
"I want to travel the world! It's my dream!"said Oden, confusing all the people on his side, especially Kin'emon.
"Let's set sail together! We should do that right now!"said Oden to Whitebeard as Jaune and the others got in between them.
"Absolutely not!"said all of Oden's Samurai, as Kuri needed him along with the rest of Wano in the very near future.
"Ahhh! Shut up!"said Oden as he pushed all of them to the side as he jumped towards Whitebeard.
"I want to leave this restrictive land! I want to see the free world. Please take me with you!"said Oden as he got on his hands and knees and begged.
"Lord Oden, please raise your head!"said Kin'emon, as someone of Oden's status shouldn't bow to someone like a Pirate!
"You tried to kill our captain, remember!"said Marco as pirates were not ones to accept someone who tried to attack them first!
"I'm begging you."said Oden, while still bowing.
"Stop it! He is a pirate!"said Kin'emon even though Oden was not listening.
"You are a nuisance! Get out of this country right now!"barked Kin'emon, who knew that as long as the Whitebeard pirates were around, Oden would try any trick and coercion to convince them to take him with them out of Wano Country!
"I wish we could, but our ship was damaged on the way here, so we can't right now."said Whitebeard as his eyes made everyone look towards the Moby Dick and see that he was right.
The ship looks like it at least needed a week or two for repairs…
"That's a shame! Let's repair it quickly!"said Oden, as he wanted to leave the country right now before Kin'emon forced his head down.
"Damn you! If you stay here that Lord Oden will… just repair it quickly and leave!"said Kin'emon, who knew that the longer the pirates stayed here in the country, the more Oden would try to go with them.
"Yeah, we will do so."said Whitebeard, who wanted to leave as soon as possible as it was clear that this Oden was trouble and he would only be a headache the longer he stayed.
'Lord Oden is up to something…' thought Jaune as he noticed a devious smile on his Lord's face and knew that he was coming up with some wicked plan to try to get the pirates to take him with them.

Jaune was later proven correct when he, along with the others, were ordered to take large bowls of oden to the pirates as they were busy fixing their ship.
"You guys!"said Cat Viper getting the attention of Marco.
"It's time to eat."said the cat mink. As Marco commented on how delicious the oden looked as the pirates decided to take a break and began eating.
Whitebeard and Oden, who had earlier had been clashing with their weapons at one another, were currently drinking saki with one another without a care in the world! They were laughing like they were old buddies as Jaune was busy poring oden into the bowls of the hungry pirates.
"Oden wouldn't be oden if it wasn't boiled! Here, Whitebeard, have some!"said Oden as he handed Whitebeard Konnyaku on a stick.
"Thank you, Oden."said Whitebeard, who happily accepted the treat as Oden helped himself to a bottle of wine from the Whitebeard pirates.
"I've never tasted something quite like this! So this is the taste of a foreign country."said Oden as he quite enjoyed the bottle of wine he just drank within seconds.
"It's an alcohol made from grapes."explained Whitebeard as Oden was excited to have tasted something from a foreign land.
"There are tons of things out there that I don't know aren't there!"said Oden as Whitebeard was starting to look annoyed.
'He caught on pretty quick.' thought Jaune as Whitebeard was not stupid and clearly saw what Oden was up to.
"Take me to the sea! Please show me the world I have never seen."said Oden before he snapped out of his thoughts as Whitebeard placed his finger on his forehead.
"You're not the type of person to serve under someone. If you come on board… when selfish people come together.. what will happen to the team!"said Whitebeard as there was no way multiple people who thought they should lead could ever work together.
"Ahh, it's too hot!"said Cat Viper, who once again was having a hard time eating oden because his sensitive tongue cannot handle extremely hot food.
"I learned it the hard way in my previous pirate group!… Set sail on your own."said Whitebeard as Oden was not the kind of man that would ever serve another, so he felt that he would have trouble if he joined them.
"If I could do that, I would have already done it… but I have tried numerous times, and each time, I ended up in failure. I have zero navigating skills to operate a ship"said Oden as he has been trying for years to leave the country but because of the unpredictable rapid waters of Wano combined with his zero know-how of navigating his escapes out of the country have each ended in failure.
"Then give up and do your job as Daimyo!"said Whitebeard harshly as he got in Oden's face!
"This country is so restrictive! Please take me with you, as I can't stand it!"pleaded Oden as his Samurai approached him and Whitebeard.
"Whitebeard, the land of Wano, has a strict law that prevents people from leaving the country. Lord Oden is the Daimyo of Kuri, so it is inexcusable of him to leave and beak the law."said Kin'emon, as Oden didn't appear happy by this, as a veins were appearing on his forehead to indicate his anger and annoyance.
Both Kin'emon and Whitebeard agreed to this as they both did not want Oden to get on the Moby Dick and set off away from Wano as whether he liked it or not, Wano needed Oden.
Jaune meanwhile was called over by the rest of his fellow Samurai to restrain Oden with his own obi as their Lord clearly had a very annoyed expression on his face as his own Samurai were getting in the way of his dream!
"Let me beard your ship, Whitebeard! No! I'm gonna go out to sea! This country is so restrictive, I don't want to go home!"yelled Oden as Kin'emon and Jaune dragged him across the floor along with the rest of the Samurai back to Oden castle as the Whitebeard pirates watched on.
Later Oden was brought into the castle's dungeon where Kin'emon and the others intended to keep him until the Whitebeard pirates leave preventing Oden from sailing off with them, destroying his only chance to actually leave Wano!
"Dammit! Open up!"yelled Oden from behind the door as Kin'emon, Raizo, Kanjuro, and Jaune were acting as guards.
"Kin'emon, are you sure this is a good idea? We all know that the door isn't going to stop him."said Jaune as to Oden. The large wooden door behind them was like a piece of tissue paper.
"That is why we will guard him until the pirates leave, Jaune! Lord Oden is extremely stubborn, so I don't doubt for a second he'll escape in no time that is why I left some of our companions near the pirates so they can go retrieve him should he escape."said Kin'emon as he knew Oden had to stay put while the pirates repair their ship.
"Dogstorm and Cat Viper. Well as long as Lord Oden is kept away from his swords I doubt he'll leave without them."said Jaune as a swordsman is not a swordsman without their sword or swords.
"Jaune, I know you're very loyal to Lord Oden, but this time, we can not respect his wishes."said Raizo, as Wano was expecting Oden to step up as the next Shogun so they couldn't let him leave.
"Yeah, but I'll doubt he will ever forgive us for getting in the way of his dream."said Jaune as he looked at the door as Oden was unusually quiet.
'He's probably clawing away at the concrete on the other side, and it only takes him a few minutes before he creates big enough for him to escape through.' thought Jaune, as until the pirates leave, this will be an interesting week or two.
As expected the next day they found a hole in the dungeon so the samurai quickly went after Oden again just as Whitebeard was rejecting him again and managed to tie him up again while he was upset that Whitebeard was not accepting him onto his ship.
But of course, it wasn't easy trying to prevent their Lord from going to the ship every day to see if the Moby Dick was ready to set sail. Lord Oden threw his nanny into the air when he was only a baby. When he was only two, he caught two rabbits at the same time by their ears. When he was four, he threw a big boulder and knocked out a bear! At six years old, he was wasting money like crazy at the pleasure hall. When he was eight, he beat up a bunch of gamblers at the gambling hall. At nine, he started a gang war with the Yakuza after they blacklisted him from the gambling halls. At ten, he became a master stonemason after being sentenced to hard labor in a quarry!
At fourteen he flooded the capital after trying to help it out after it was suffering from a drought… At fifteen he's strong armed a temple master so that he could stay at a temple in the mountains while every night he went to the Capital and kidnapped women to form a harem. The irony being that the women were always free to leave and stayed with him by choice…?
Of course the women's boyfriends, husbands, fathers, grandfather's and so forth didn't like this idea so they went to the temple to get the women back by force with the help of some Samurai which caused something that Jaune couldn't believe but it was in fact written down in history as the harem war…
Jaune knew that Lord Oden was not the kind of man to let anyone stand in his way and even though he wouldn't hurt them he was sure that he would come up with every clever trick he could possibly think of to sneak out of the castle to get to the Moby Dick to see if it was ready to set sail.
Luckily Jaune and the other retainers knew their Lord quite well so they knew every trick he was going to come up with and managed the thwart him each time and dragged him back to the castle kicking and screaming the whole time that he was going to set sail no matter what they did!
Soon, two weeks passed, and the Moby Dick was ready to set sail out of Wano. Whitebeard had let Kin'emon know that they were planning to leave at night while Oden was asleep so that he would never notice them leaving.
Meanwhile, at Oden castle, the man in question appeared to be leaving his room sneakingly when he caught sight of Izo and Jaune, who were acting as guards.
"Going somewhere, Lord Oden?"asked Izo as Jaune was busy polishing the katana he had on hand.
"I'm just going to the bathroom relax. I just need to pee."said Oden, as he started to make his way towards the toilet with neither one of his guards noticing the grin on his face.
"Relax, Izo. He doesn't have his swords on him, and there's no way he'll leave without them."said Jaune as he was sure Oden wouldn't go anywhere without Ame no Habakiri and Enma.
"Still… something is not right. Are you sure they're locked up in the armory?"asked Izo with worry.
"Armory?… Isn't the armory located not too far away from the bathroom…"said Jaune with worry as both men quickly stood up and went to the bathroom to find Oden.
Sure enough, as soon as they got to the bathroom, they saw a hole in the wall that led to the armory where they saw that Enma and Ame no Habakiri were not where they were put.
"Look!"said Jaune as he noticed that the window into the bathroom had been jimmied, and even though it was put back, Jaune saw that it was loosened.
"He's heading to Itachi Port. We have to stop him."said Izo before he and Jaune ran after Oden through the place he escaped from as they decided to follow his trail from there.
Sure enough, Oden had reached Itachi port with a large chain as the Whitebeard pirates were barely setting sail towards the waterfall.
"Whitebeard!"yelled, Oden, getting the attention of the man in question.
"What?!"said Whitebeard as he wasn't expecting this as Oden through the chain that tied around the mast of the Moby Dick.
"I knew you were going to do something like this, so I was waiting for this moment!"said Oden as he jumped into the air, holding the chain tightly as Izo and Jaune arrived at Itachi port and jumped after him.
"Lord Oden! I knew you were up to something like this!"said Izo as he and Jaune grabbed onto Oden as they all fell on to the water.
"We will not let you go!"said Jaune as he spat out some sea water from his mouth.
"How reckless. Sorry Oden, but you really need to stay here."said Marco as he was preparing to undo the chain.
"Wait, Marco."ordered Whitebeard as Marco stopped what he was doing.
"Bring aboard the ones that came after him!"ordered Whitebeard as Izo and Jaune were trying in vain to get Oden to let go of the chain.
"Right away."said Marco as he flew towards the ones holding on to the chain.
"Come back! You are the next Shogun!"said Izo, struggling to get Oden to let go of the chain.
"Izo look!"said Jaune as Marco was flying towards them with blue wings and bird feet made out blue flames.
Before Jaune and Izo knew what was happening, they were both tied up and grabbed by Marco before he started flying them towards the Moby Dick with each in one of his claws.
"Why did you save us!"said Izo, as both of them noticed that the Moby Dick was going over the falls, and Oden was plummeting to the very bottom.
"Help me!"said Oden until he disappeared from sight.
"Lord Oden!"exclaimed both retainers.
Meanwhile, it was a state of emergency at Oden castle as Kin'emon couldn't find Lord Oden anywhere.
"Big brother Izo is gone! Dog, Cat, and Jaune are also missing."said Kikujou, and she was crying while Denjiro tried to comfort her.
"Search! Search across the country!"ordered Doji, causing every Samurai in the castle to look all over frantically for the missing Daimyo and the missing retainers.
Meanwhile, Jaune and Izo were tied up aboard the Moby Dick as Izo pleaded with Whitebeard to let Oden on the ship! He even lowered his head to the Pirate Captain begrudgingly, begging him to let Lord Oden on to the ship, but his pleas fell on deaf ears
As Whitebeard didn't listen to a word he said as he went over to the back of the ship to talk Oden, who was still hanging on to the chain being pulled through the water by the ship.
"Oden! Since you wanted this so badly, I'll make you a deal! If you hang on to that chain for three whole days, I will let you on board my ship, but if you fail, I'm taking you back!"said Whitebeard, who was clearly giving him an ultimatum.
"Hey, that's too harsh!"said Jaune as three days in the water was not good for anyone!
"I accept!"said Oden without even a moment of hesitation..
Jaune meanwhile was frustrated as that meant not only that Oden's life was in danger but for the next three days both he and Izo were going to stay tied up!
Jaune had no doubt Oden could handle the challenge. He just hoped he would still be in one piece in the end!
