It has been nearly 6 years since Sirius and his father Orion Black preformed the blood adoption ritual on Hadrian Black formerly known as Harry Potter.
During this time many things have occurred in the Wizarding World. The day after Albus Dumbledore concluded that young Harry Potter had perished, he went before the Ministry of Magic, and sadly announced the death of The Boy who Lived, along with the brutal murder of his Aunt and Uncle, Dumbledore had provided further proof of the young Potter heir's demise by showing his name had been crossed out in The Hogwarts Book of Admissions that was proof enough for the Wizarding World that it's savior was dead.
When asked how it happened, Dumbledore had let it be known he had no real answers other than it was most certainly murder, and done by a powerful wizard or wizards, his theory was it was a Death Eater or Eaters that escaped justice that carried out the heinous act. That alone sent the Wizarding World into an uproar, but little was done by the end.
Days later Deputy Headmistress Professor Minerva McGonagall, had entered Dumbledore's office with a shocked expression on her face, one that gave the old headmaster pause, looking every bit his age for the first time in many years. He asked his one time transfiguration apprentice what had put her in such a state, after taking a seat and collecting her thoughts she began to speak.
" Forgive me Albus, but I was reviewing the Book of Admissions for our upcoming term, and I came across a name that I believe I overlooked."
Dumbledore stared at McGonagal his interest at it's peak, as she took a deep breath, she looked up at Dumbledore and finally revealed the name that shook her so much.
"Hadrian Sirius Black"
That sent the Headmaster forward in shock, he was sure that the only free and living Black was the weakened Lord Orion Black, Sirius's father, but now there is a new one, he then remembered what his colleague had just said, "What do you mean overlooked? " Dumbledore asked.
"He is sated to attend in 6 years time by which he will be 11 years old, it appears we have overlooked the birth of the heir of House Black for 5 years."
Dumbledore had called upon his staff and had assigned them to investigate this new heir to House Black, most were curious, some wary, but one was disgusted by his task, claiming he was having a good week until he got his task. Professor Severus Snape had been in good mood ever since he learned of Harry Potter's death, this attitude alone disgusted his peers, at his vile behavior, especially towards the child of the woman he claimed to love.
The Hogwarts staff learned very little of Hadrian Black, because most of his history was fabricated, What they learned filled them with more questions.
1. He was born 31st of July, 1994 the same day as Harry Potter.
2. He is the son of Sirius Black and a Young Muggle woman Name Rose Evans.
3. His mother Rose Evans was cousins with Petunia Dursley and Lily Potter, making him the direct beneficiary of the Potter estate and fortune.
4. He is currently being raised by his grandfather Orion Black, because his mother died of a tragic Muggle illness called Cancer last year.
Snape had returned back from his task of going to Azkaban Prison to interrogate supposed traitor Sirius Black about his bastard son, but upon arrival he had been informed "Sirius Black had died days ago his body was disposed of as per protocol after it was found." His expression was one of disbelief and some amusement.
As he relayed this information to Dumbledore, the headmaster was filled with guilt, he knew Sirius was Innocent, but had condemned him to hell for nearly 4 years, all so he could control Harry without interference. He felt guilt at Sirius's death, but only because he had now lost an important asset, when Voldemort returns.
It was then Dumbledore began to piece things together, The Prophecy was not talking about Harry Potter, or Neville Longbottom, it was talking about this Hadrian Black. Then maybe just maybe he still had a chance to provide the Wizarding World with a Savior.
Albus was convinced giving the boy's heritage Orion would tolerate the child at best, which would provide the ultimate manipulation for the Leader of Light to use coming off as a wise, kind grandfatherly figure, that Hadrian would idolize and listened to.
The headmaster completely unaware that his plans would never come to fruition. Miles away Hadrian had began his home education, and training, using a spare wand in the house, Hadrian was a fast learner and soaked up knowledge like a sponge, he learnt from his mistakes never making the same one twice he studied many magical and non magical subjects he didn't just want to pass his classes when the time came, he wanted to surpass them all.
His days filled with study and training as days became months, months became years until the day he had waited so long for finally arrived. In the form of a letter his whole life was about to change.
Dear Mr. Black
We are pleased to inform you, that you've been accepted to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
We anxiously await your owl with your answer term starts September 1st please retrieve all the necessary supplies listed below.
