Arriving back to Lyras house, Kol was still asking questions. She told him once everyone arrived, she would explain. Jeremy, Stefan and Rebecca arrived shortly after. They would all have to be on alert, those two were going to be a problem. Teddy was playing on his swing set while the adults spoke.

"Can you please explain what happened when you threatened John" Damon asked. They had filled the others in and everyone was waiting for the answer.

Lyra didn't know other than what Luna had told her, "He showed while you threatened that weak man"

"Oh, well I'll call him because I honestly didn't know I could do that" Lyra said, Elijah gave a quick warning before she called out, "Death"

No one was all that comfortable with the new guest. Luna stayed with her dreamy look and grabbed Kols hand to calm him.

"Mistress" Death said, looking over the others then back to Lyra, "How may I help you"

"What exactly happened earlier. Luna said you were with me" Lyra asked.

Nodding, Death explained "I could feel your magic calling to me. I was there to act if you had only asked. He is one who has escaped me due to a nature witch. You know how I feel about those who don't meet me" Death looked to Jeremy who paled, "You have the same tool, your hand"

Lyra walked quickly to Jeremy, examining the ring on his hand, "What is this, what are the repercussions" Jenna gasped at her question.

"The wearer will leave a bit of themselves on the other side every time they die while wearing it" Death begins, moving closer to Jeremy he looks to the ring, "Die to many times and you will eventually lose your entire mind"

Jeremy quickly removes the ring, panicked he asked Lyra "Is there anything you can do? I've died three times already!" definitely panicking.

Lyra looked to Death, "Can I reverse it? He's still so young" she knew she wasn't much older but experiences made her feel twice her age. Jenna was holding onto Jeremy. Worried of what could happen to her nephew.

Finally, Death looked to Lyra "You could fix it, the ring. It would need to be stripped bare, to metal and stone. You would have to rebuild the protections. Your magic is potent and has a part of me in it. I only give you this option because I know he didn't know"

Lyra nods, reassuring Jeremy and Jenna that she would do it. Looking back to Death, she thinks "I haven't introduced you" everyone's surprised at her words. "You've met Elijah, these are his siblings. Rebekah, Kol and Finn. You met Klaus" The three give an awkward wave. Kol jumps when Death comes closer "This is Jenna, Jeremy, Stefan and Damon" Death observes them. "This is Luna, she's from Britain"

Everyone's surprised when Luna walks up to Death "I knew she would find you, together you will do amazing things"

Lyra smiles at Luna. "Would you like to meet Teddy" she asks, realizing he's never met her son. Death greets Teddy. Of course he doesn't see anything strange about the situation.

Death stares at the group surrounding his Mistress. She had escaped the traitors and found a family. "You made the right choice".

The others looked to Lyra at that, she smiled and looked to Elijah and her son "I think so too"

Death departed, leaving her with the knowledge he would be there when her magic called.

Kol had really taken to Luna. He was amazed by her and her magic, how she was able to sense things others couldn't. Kol had always surrounded himself with witches but none of those would ever compare to the one who was currently explaining what a Nargal was.

Finn was watching his siblings. Elijah seemed like a completely new person. He smiled, talked freely, joked with others, showed affection publicly and doted on the child. He hadn't seen this side of his brother since they were human. Kol was besotted by the small blond witch. He wasn't showing any of his previous homicidal tendencies, he followed the witch around like a lost puppy. Rebekah also seems to have changed. She had been studying to begin school and didn't have her bratty attitude. She has matured. The true test would be seeing how or if Niklaus had changed. He heard what Elijah and Rebekah had told him but he needed to see it for himself.

Damon sat next to Finn, pulling him from his thoughts, "I'm sure this is all really strange for you"

Finn looked to the younger vampire "I feel as if I've never seen this side of my siblings. It's refreshing" he said, adding "I'm curious to see how Niklaus acts around them"

Damon nods, "I hated your brothers at first" noticing the look Finn is giving he continues "Lyra seems to have a way to bring out the best in people. Even Klaus. I honestly think he's scared of her" Finn chuckles at that.

"I'm glad their happy, I just wish I could have the chance" Finn says solemnly.

Damon of course asks, "Lots of women out there, never know, you might find one just for you"

Finn shakes his head, "There was only one woman for me. Sage. Beautiful, fierce, hair of fire" Damon looks curious.

"Sounds like an old friend of mine, is your Sage a fighter" Damon asks.

Finn shakes his head, "It couldn't be my Sage" taking a deep breath, he says "Niklaus killed her, centuries ago. She was the only woman I loved"

Damons quiet, thinking. He had to know if she was the same Sage. Honestly the name wasn't that popular, maybe he should call her. Deciding to leave Finn to his thoughts, Damon needed to make a call.

Klaus had finally arrived back home. Lyra had agreed to be the mediator for the family. It seemed that Kol and Finn were not going to try and kill Klaus. Deciding the siblings could manage, she had told them all to be at her house for dinner. Elijah had left with her, hoping they all made it in one piece.

Teddy was playing with Elijah when his siblings arrived. Klaus was the first he seen and screamed "Bunny!" Kol and Finn watched at the boy ran towards him.

Klaus bent down, picking Teddy up when he reached them, "Hello pup" he said, flashing his hybrid eyes. Teddy flashed them back then broke into giggles.

"Missed Bunny" Teddy said, Klaus of course acted like it didn't get to him but they all knew he had a soft spot for the boy.

Elijah walked up, Teddy held his arms out and went to him. They all headed inside for dinner. Kol and Finn of course teased Klaus about being called Bunny. Klaus told them that the boy could call him whatever as long as Lyra didn't call Death on him. They all got a good laugh of him being terrified of Elijah's witch.

Sitting down to eat, Finn and Kol were even more shocked with how Klaus reacted towards Jenna. Seems he fancied the human. Oh they would have fun with that.

The last week had been quiet, Lyra knew something was going to happen soon. It was the calm before the storm. Jenna and Jeremy had been staying with her and Luna. Lyra had transformed the attic into two rooms so they would have their own space. Jenna hadn't wanted to go home because not only was she avoiding John and Elena, but she had also been avoiding Alaric since their breakup. Klaus had offered to take him out but she ignored him.

Lyra had taken time to finally finish her portraits. Luna had been helping her but now that they were done, she had to find the courage to wake them. She had been staring at the five frames for twenty minutes when she finally gathered her courage. Reaching forward, she placed her finger to the frame and whispered the spell.

She watched as his eyes opened, knowing it would take a moment for all of the information to settle. Lyra sat patiently as she waited. Grey eyes opened, looking around the room they finally landed on her.

"Fawn" Sirius said. Lyra could feel the tears run down her face, "You're so grown"

"Siri" Lyra whispered, choking back a sob, "I'm so sorry, I got you killed"

Sirius cut her off, "No Lyra. It was not your fault. I shouldn't have been taunting her, it was not your fault" They spoke for a bit longer when he asked, "Fawn, wake the others"

Nodding, Lyra took a deep breath "I'm going to explain everything that has happened to you all then I'll take you upstairs. Teddy needs to see his parents"

Lyra stood and woke her parents, Remus and Dora. She and Sirius waited for them to fully wake. Her reunion with her parents was extremely emotional. Telling Dora about Andromeda was horrible. Lyra explained everything to them, the war, the horcrux hunt, the betrayals, dying, the move, and how she became the Mistress of Death.

When she got to current events, she was hesitant to tell them about Elijah. She didn't want them to be upset with her. She knew she loved him and believed he loved her too.

Taking a calming breath she began, "I'm seeing someone. He's amazing. He also knows everything that's happened. He's really good with Teddy too, he knows that Teddy will always come first for me. I'm in love with him and I think he loves me"

All the portraits were silent, Sirius of course asked, "What's the problem, you seem to be talking him up to us"

Lyra knew this could go bad or good, staring at her hands she said "He's older"

"How much older Fawn" Her father asked.

"About a thousand years" she mumbled. All three men lost it, her mom and Dora just watched Lyra, noticing she was upset they silenced the men.

"Lyra what do you mean, what is he" Her mom asked.

Lyra looked to all of them, landing back on her mom she said, "Elijah and his siblings are the very first vampires. Our worlds vampires are different because they were wizards first, his family was human"

The portraits were quiet for a moment, Remus spoke first "Does he treat you well" Lyra smiled and told them how amazing he was with her and Teddy. They could all see that she loved the man.

James spoke up, "Do we get to meet him? I think it would help us, to see what you see"

Lyra nodded, "I plan to move you all upstairs. Teddy can't be down here" she says, looking at all her breakable magical items. "I'll move you now, you can spend time with Teddy before he shows up for dinner" They all agreed and waited patiently as she moved them.

Teddy sat in front of his parents for hours. Lyra had spoke of them so often that he knew who they were as soon as he seen them. James, Lily, and Sirius of course thought he was the most adorable thing. When Teddy had tried to show them he could fly, Lyra had to hide his broom so he wouldn't destroy the house.

Lyra introduced Luna, Jenna and Jeremy. The two non magical were amazed. Of course they were all interrogated about Elijah. Lyra could only shake her head at them. He would be there soon so she had warned her dad, Sirius and Remus to be nice. Seeing a portrait pout was new.

Lyra was anxious, she had felt Elijah enter her wards. This was it. She stepped outside and waited for him to park. She needed to prepare him.

Elijah stepped up to Lyra, kissing her deeply he said, "Everything alright lovely?"

Lyra nodded, "I woke them" his eyes widened. She continued, "I'm going to warn you, they seem to have lost their manners. My mom and Dora can only do so much"

Elijah smiled, "It will all be okay, I promise"

Teddy had been showing the portraits his toys. Seeing who walked in behind his mother, he ran as fast as his little legs could go "Lijah, look, Lijah"

Elijah caught the boy, looking towards the five painted faces staring at him. He was amazed by Lyra's talent and magic.

Walking up to them, he greeted them "Hello, I'm Elijah Mikaelson"

The two women were the first to greet him. The three men stared.

"Hello Elijah, I'm Lily Potter and this is James. We're Lyras parents" her mom introduced them, they were all crammed into one frame to make it easier.

"I'm Dora, this is my husband Remus Lupin" Teddy pointed at them, "My momma, papa" Elijah smiled at him. Looking to the last man.

"Siri" Lyra scolded quietly.

Sighing, "I'm Sirius Black, Lyras godfather" he said.

They spoke for a bit, all crammed into a frame in the dining room so they could join. When they moved back to the living room, they spoke until Teddy fell asleep. Lyra asked if Elijah would be okay for her to take him to bed, he nodded.

He knew they would question him as soon as they were alone.

"What are your intentions with my daughter Mr. Mikaelson" James asked, Lily smack his arm.

Elijah stared at the people in the portrait "I want to make her happy. Give her and Teddy a good life"

The men got in a few more questions before Lyra came back downstairs. She knew they had been talking about her, her dads guilty expression gave them away.

Standing next to Elijah, he wrapped an arm around her. "So, are you done interrogating him" she asked. They all looked ashamed to be caught. "I told you, Elijah is a good man"

Elijah smiled down at her, "It's alright lovely. They just want to make sure I'm good enough for you" he told her. Seeing Sirius and James nodding, she glared.

"Don't push it" she growled. Lily and Dora laughed at them. They spent a few more hours talking before heading off to bed. Of course, that caused chaos, but Lyra told them to get over it, her mom and Dora were cackling at that.
