Elijah was pacing. He couldn't figure out who had taken Lyra, he had an idea but he dreaded to think about it. Teddy was attached to him, he knew something was wrong, he knew his mommy wasn't home and he wasn't letting Elijah go. Luna was trying to keep them both calm, she knew Lyra could handle herself, she had Death with her always.

Klaus had his hybrids searching everywhere. They had already been on the lookout for Esther. Jenna was still in a daze, Luna knew she couldn't be removed from the imperious until the caster did it, or the caster was no more. Klaus was trying to snap her out of it anyway.

Jeremy was still missing as well, Jenna hadn't been able to tell them what was going on and he wasn't answering his phone. Hopefully he wasn't in the same situation as Lyra. Damon, Stefan, Rebekah, Kol, Finn and Sage were all out looking as well. They knew that they needed to stick with another person, no one was to be out alone.

Luna had been trying to get Teddy to eat, he refused until Elijah had asked. They had been sitting with the portraits, trying to keep them calm as well. Luna had a feeling that it wasn't just the people here they were dealing with. No one had ever been able to get the best of Lyra, it would have had to have been someone who knew her. Or thought they did.

Lyra thought travelling with Death was weird. She had no idea how he did it but they were now standing in her yard. Finally catching her bearings, she asked "What was that"

Death smirked, "I don't travel the same as wizards, I just appear like air" Lyra nodded, thanking him for the help and ran to the house to find the others.

As soon as she entered, Lyra noticed everyone staring at her wide eyed. "Lyra" and "Mommy" were called out, Elijah and Teddy heading right for her. She let them gather her into a hug.

"Where were you, what happened" Elijah asked, checking over what he could see of her from around Teddy's small body.

Looking around, she noticed Klaus, Luna and Jenna were present, looking back to Elijah she said, "It seems your mother has help from two of my enemies" Luna gasped, her stare going hazy.

Lyra walked over, Elijah her permanent shadow "Luna" she waited until she was acknowledged, "Luna, we need to contact Kingsley. Ron and Hermione are here and helping the others"

Luna nodded, "Things in Britain have gone sideways it seems. I will contact him, calm your vampire" she said to Lyra, bouncing off to the floo.

Lyra looked to Klaus and Jenna next, "Jenna" no answer.

Klaus spoke, "Luna said she's been imperious 'ed" Lyras eyes widen.

Elijah stops her from moving again, wrapping his arms around her and Teddy, "Explain to us what happened. We had everyone out looking but no one could find any sign of you, Jeremy is still missing" Lyra wrapped her free arm around him and explained everything.

"Let me get this straight" Kol said, looking between Luna and Lyra, "These wizards who are helping our mother use to be your friends, or you thought they were, but they were stealing from you the whole time" Lyra nodded, Kol continued "They set up wards around the property and that's why we couldn't find any sign of you"

Luna nodded then, "Wards, like the ones here are meant to protect people. Depending on who set them, they may not work as well. Lyra was able to escape because of Death, she wouldn't have been able to apperate out on her own" They had given a breakdown of different wards and why Lyra's were superior, and her house was the safest place.

Looking to Lyra, Klaus asked "Do you know a general area of where our mother is hiding"

Lyra sighed, "I only saw a room, it honestly looked abandoned" they had been waiting for Stefan and Rebekah to return. Everyone else had arrived but he told Damon that Caroline Forbes wanted to speak to him.

"So, mother thought she could remove you from us, doing what exactly besides pissing us off" Kol asked then, Elijahs arm tightened around Lyra.

"Ron said that she couldn't kill you with me around. I'm not sure what her plan is but I don't like the thought of her even trying to kill you all" Lyra said, holding tightly to Elijahs hand. Looking to Kol she asked, "I thought you all were unkillable. Is there a spell that could help her?"

Kol looked thoughtful, he was running through grimoires in his head, "The only way to kill all of us would be to link us together. Nik literally can't die, the rest of us can by a white oak stake"

Luna added, "Luckily that option is gone" Lyra and Klaus nodded.

Lyra felt Stefan and Rebekah enter her wards, she was surprised by the other two who were with them. She knew they had been friends of Elenas, but her wards wouldn't let them in if they meant any harm. Warning the others of the new people, Damon and Klaus walked out to meet them.

Rebekah watched her brother as they parked. Thankfully Lyra had returned safe, Elijah would have probably taken out the whole town if she hadn't. When Caroline and Tyler had asked to meet with Stefan, she had been very cautious. Knowing that they were friends of Elena and Bonnie made her want to decline but Stefan trusted Caroline. Now they were at Lyras, hopefully to give information that would help.

Damon watched as a nervous blondie got out of the car, he still owed her an apology. He had talked with Lyra about some things that he had done, and she hexed him up and down. Knowing things would be easier if they all got along, he approached Caroline.

"Can I speak with you before we head in" Damon asked. Caroline looked skeptical, he couldn't blame her. "I promise, best behavior" he held his hands up.

Nodding Caroline followed him away from the others, "What do you want Damon, I need to speak with the others"

Damon took a deep breath then said "I'm sorry. When I first got to town I did horrible things" Carolines eyes widened, "I did horrible things to you. I know you will never forgive me for that but I wanted you to know that I am sorry for it"

Caroline was shocked, Damon never apologized for anything. What had happened to make him do so to her? Maybe it was his friendship with Lyra, everyone noticed a big change in him since she arrived. Thinking over it, she decided "I appreciate the apology. I'm not saying I forgive you right now, but I am saying maybe we could work towards a friendship"

Damon agreed. He was lucky she was even offering that much. With that off his chest, they met back up with the others and headed inside.

Elijah watched as the young vampire and wolf sat across from him and Lyra. Teddy was sleeping snuggly on their laps so he couldn't move but Klaus and Kol gave the intimidation factor. "Why are you here, I thought Elena and Bonnie were your friends" he asked.

The two had a silent conversation before Caroline spoke, "I don't know who they are anymore. I used to be best friends with them both but after the things they were saying, I can't be a part of that"

Tyler added, "Jeremy told us about how you all really are. I can tell just by sitting here that everything they said was a lie" he looked to Klaus then, "I want to be a hybrid, I've thought about it, and I wanted to come and ask if you would do it" Klaus was surprised by this.

Lyra was the one who asked, "Have you seen Jeremy? No one has seen him since Jenna was cursed" Caroline looked to Jenna, noticing her spaced out look.

"They cursed her! Oh my god, they're crazy" Caroline started to freak. Getting herself together she said, "Jeremy was trying to act like he was helping. Alaric is with them too and Jeremy was with him last"

"Shit" Lyra said, looking to Luna she asked "Has Kings got back with you? I need to know what he wants me to do with them, if I don't hear something soon, I'll take them out"

Luna shook her head, "Things in Britain are going bad, he said he thinks he about to be ousted as Minister because of the purebloods" Lyra knew another war would erupt. She wasn't helping them this time, she had her family to think about.

Lyra sighed, "I'm not going into this taking any hostages. They came at us with prejudice and added in two people whom I despise. The fact that they even think I would let something like this happen, it just shows that I've been too lenient"

Klaus smiled at that, "Looks like we get to kill some people" looking to Tyler and Caroline he said, "I will change you, neither of you should be there when this happens" Looking around to his siblings he adds, "Are we all in agreement that mother is done, she doesn't get a second chance"

Elijah nodded, "I agree. None of us will be safe while she's alive" Kol and Finn nod, Rebekah is hesitant but agrees.

Klaus decides to take care of the Tyler thing while the rest are preparing to make a plan. Lyra knew there would be death, she hated senseless killing, but it seemed that she could never escape it. These people were coming after her loved ones, she was going to make sure they weren't a threat for long.

With Tyler in transition and Caroline unsure what to do, Lyra offered to make rooms for the others in her garage. Luna helped her change it to fit their needs. Luckily with magic, it didn't look like a garage now. Caroline had told Lyra and Luna about the old witch house, that's where they were staying because of the protections.

Elijah refused to leave, he didn't want Lyra or Teddy out of his sight. Everyone decided Lyra's house was the best place for them and now she had a compound more than a home. Teddy loved that everyone was constantly around. He was always with either his mom or Elijah, he may not know what was happening, but he knew who he was safe with.

The portraits were helping with the planning. They had all experienced war, so they were great strategists, they also just liked having all the people around. Of course, Tyler and Caroline had been shocked the first time one spoke. Lyra had explained to them how her magic was in the portrait to give it life, they thought it was amazing. Caroline also liked playing with Teddy, he seemed to charm everyone.

Lyra and Elijah had just put Teddy down for the night and crashed on her bed. With so many people in the house it was hard for them to get time alone. Lyra let out a sigh as soon as she hit the bed.

"Everything alright lovely" Elijah asked, rolling to face her and running a hand over her.

Lyra looked to his face, "I'm just ready for this to be over. I hate fighting but I hate people trying to hurt my family more" she told him, running a finger down his face.

Elijah nipped her finger when it was near his mouth, "I'm sorry. If not for my mother" was all he got out before he was cut off.

"No Elijah. There will always be people who want to start problems, some will be bigger than others but there is always someone who wants power. That's what this is. That's why Ron and Hermione are here, they want power and think by taking you from me that Esther will help them get it"

Elijah watched as her eyes glowed, they were gorgeous, she was gorgeous. The words were out of his mouth before he could stop them, "I love you"

Lyra's eyes widened, she had been wanting to tell him but didn't know when the right time was. Leaning up, she kissed him softly and replied, "I love you" He smiled back at her, leaning into her more, he kissed her harder.

Lyra wasn't going to be patient tonight, she vanished their clothes and pulled him to her. Elijah went willingly, he settled himself between her thighs, running a hand over her body. Feeling how wet she was, he lined his hard member up with her and sunk to the hilt.

Lyra didn't want soft tonight, she wanted Elijah to own her. Sinking her nails into him, Elijah leaned up on one arm to watch where they met. He wasn't being easy, he knew she didn't want him to treat her like she was breakable.

Elijah moved so he was covering her body, pulling her legs around his waist, he settled his knees to the bed and held Lyra by her hips to slide into her at a different angle. Lyra's back arched off the bed with how deep he was. She wasn't going to last.

Moving a finger over her clit, he felt when her first orgasm hit. Lyra let out a scream and he didn't let up, he kept thrusting into her. When she was finally through, he slid out and flipped her to her knees.

Lyra tried to hold herself up but with how deep Elijah was and how he moved her every time he drove into her, her arms felt like jelly. He must have realized because he pulled her back flush to his chest, all the while never stopping his movements. His mouth was sucking on her neck, he could feel her tighten around him.

"Elijah" Lyra gasped, trying to speak, he was biting at her with blunt teeth but she wanted something else, "Elijah, fuck, bite me".

He froze for a moment, he was sure he hadn't heard her right "Lyra" he rasped, but she was having none of it.

"Bite me, Elijah" she tried to move her hips on him, finally making up his mind, he flipped her so he could see her face. If he was going to do this, he needed to see her.

Slipping back into her tight heat, he began to work her back up. He knew as soon as she came this time, he was going to follow. He laid kisses on her neck, Lyra's legs were like a vice around his waist. When he felt her walls fluttering again, Elijah placed one more kiss before sinking his fangs into her soft, pale neck.

Lyra's vision exploded in stars and light. She felt as his fangs punctured her flesh and he pulled at her blood. She came once and then she felt him spilling into her and she came again. Lyra had never felt anything like that. She knew Elijah was it for her.

Elijah licked at the blood droplets, not letting them escape. She tasted amazing, he had never had anything that compared. Lifting his head, he checked to see if she was okay. Worried that she hadn't spoke, he noticed the small smile on her face.

"Are you alright lovely" he asked, his voice raspy.

Lyra's smile widened, opening her eyes she looked to him. "I'm perfect" she said, pulling him into a kiss.
