The Mikaelson siblings dealt with their mother. She had tried to guilt them into letting her go but when she threatened retribution on Lyra and her son, Elijah was the one who ended up ripping her heart out. Luna made sure to put her body in stasis when they shoved her into the coffin. Lyra placed the ashes in with her, Luna said they would need to keep them for a bit.

Jenna had been released from her curse, she freaked out at first. Lyra and Luna had to explain things and make sure she didn't feel guilty. When they told her about Elena, John, and Alaric Jenna and Jeremy decided that they would move back to their house. Elena would be there, but she wouldn't be the same. Jenna agreed that it was the best option. The most shocking thing was when Jenna agreed to go on a date with Klaus. Everyone was surprised by that.

Luna and Kol had been moving along in their relationship. He seemed to worship the tiny witch. Finn and Sage were about to head out and explore. The poor man had been shoved in a coffin for nine hundred years, he needed a vacation. Stefan and Rebekah were finishing their senior year, she loved high school but knew one year would be enough. Damon had been seeing Andy, the reporter, again. Lyra thought she was good for him, she kept him in line. Caroline and Tyler were also becoming normal visitors to the house, she couldn't get enough of Teddy.

Lyra had been playing with Teddy when Klaus called Elijah. He had received a call and told them all he needed to head to New Orleans. Elijah asked what was going on, but he said he would call when he got there. Like that wasn't suspicious.

Kingsley had been in contact with Lyra. He told her about the uprisings happening in Britain. She didn't want to deal with it, but she told Kingsley she would help any who needed an escape. Turns out a few did want to leave.

Lyra had been sleeping peacefully in Elijahs arms when a patronus came into her room. It spoke with Kingsley's voice, "Lyra, I need an escape for children. If you can help, please come"

Elijah stared at her. He knew she wouldn't let children be hurt. When she stood, he followed. "Lyra, I'm coming with" he told her, stopping her movement.

"Elijah, I don't want to go but I can't" she tried to tell him, but he cut her off.

"I know, I'm not telling you not to, I'm telling you I'm coming with. I'll tell Bipsy so she can watch Teddy" he told her, once she nodded, he got dressed and went off to find the elf.

Lyra was trying to brace herself. She knew she was about to walk back into a warzone. It may not be as bad as the first, but it would still be bad. Walking into the hall, she ran into Luna and Kol.

"We're coming" Luna said, Lyra went to protest but she was cut off "You're going to need us Lyra"

Taking a deep breath, she nodded. Lyra went to check on her son before heading down to the floo.

None were prepared for the warzone they had just entered. Kingsley had given them the floo to exit from and Lyra went first. When she exited, she had to quickly throw up a shield. Spells were flying everywhere. The orphanage had been destroyed, who would attack children like this.

Once the other three were out behind her, they moved quickly. All of her instincts came flooding back. Luna was throwing shields as Lyra was returning spell fire. The needed to find Kingsley and the children.

Lyra had to make herself ignore the bodies on the floor, flashbacks to Hogwarts and the final battle were flooding her. Luna wasn't faring much better. For two people so young, they had experienced way too much. Luna got her attention, pointing out Kingsley and George. They ran over to them.

"Lyra, Luna. Thank Merlin. These are all that's left, you have to get them out" George told them, pointing to the kids behind him. He noticed the two men behind the girls. "Who are they"

Lyra ignored him, "Who's attacking. Why here" she asked.

Kingsley spoke up, "These are the orphans left from Voldemort. They're all muggelborn"

Lyra shook herself, she needed to get her head straight. There were four kids. None older than five. "Where do I take them, if I take them with me, they won't be coming back here" she tells him.

Kingsley nods, "I know. Take them. We don't know who is behind this but they're worse than he ever was"

Lyra and Luna nod, they begin to pick up kids and hand two each to Elijah and Kol. "Hold onto them. I'll make sure we get out" Lyra said, looking to Luna who nodded. They told Kingsley and George to get out as soon as they were gone.

The children were placed in her living room. Lyra didn't know what she was going to do. She practically kidnapped these kids by taking them out of the country but knew that if she hadn't, they would have been killed. The oldest one, a boy, was five. There were two who she thought may be twins, boy and girl, they were four. The youngest couldn't have been much younger than Teddy. Bipsy popped in to get them all food and drinks. Luna was making sure they were all comfortable.

Elijah watched as Lyra paced. She was a strong woman but this was too much for anyone. He sent a text to his siblings and Jenna. They needed help. When she paced by him again, Elijah wrapped her in his arms.

"Lyra, calm down. We will handle this, you have help" Elijah told her. Kol was staring at all the little people looking at them.

"So, do we keep them" he asked, Luna smacked him over the head, "Ow"

"We need to talk to the others" Luna told him, looking to Lyra "We've got this. I promise"

Lyra smiled at her. Feeling all the people coming through the wards she looked to Elijah. "You called everyone" he nodded. She was about to say something when her wards let her know Teddy was awake.

"I'll get him" Elijah told her, kissing her on the head before going upstairs.

Lyra watched the children, she knew they were scared. No child should have had to go through that, seeing other children murdered. She held herself back from breaking when the youngest looked to her with big watery eyes.

Lyra picked the little girl up, sitting with the children. Luna sat with them too. "You're safe here, I promise. We won't let anyone hurt you" she told them. Luna was nodding with her.

When Elijah came down with Teddy, the boy's hair matching his own, he looked for his mother. Seeing all the other kids, his eyes widened. "Mommy, baby" he asked, seeing her holding the little girl.

Lyra smiled, "You have some friends, they're staying for a bit" she told him. Elijah sat next to her and Teddy looked to the girl Lyra was holding.

Jenna and Rebekah were helping with the kids while the others asked what happened. They were all shocked that someone had attacked an orphanage.

Finn and Sage had finally arrived, Elijah had called them all home. Klaus said he finished his business so he would be home soon. He still wouldn't tell them what was going on.

"So what are you going to do with the children" Jenna asked when all the kids had fell asleep. Luna had made a pillow fort on the floor so they could all sleep together. Teddy had taken well to the littlest girl and wanted to sleep in the fort too.

Lyra shook her head, "I have no idea. I've pretty much kidnapped them but Kingsley told me to. I know I can't take care of them all but I don't want to send them off. I feel that they would be safer with me"

Luna spoke up, "I've always thought twins were adorable, I would like to take in Cleo and Micha" Kol looked surprised at her comment but then he nodded.

Rebekah told them, "I would gladly take Marcus"

Lyra nodded, thinking over how Teddy took to the little girl. "I'll keep Ellie" she looked to Elijah, he smiled down at her, "I don't think Teddy will let her leave" everyone had noticed that.

Elijah spoke up, "They would all still be together, but they would have parents" looking to Lyra, "Do you think Kingsley would be okay with that" she nodded but told him she would let him know.

Klaus had arrived back in the early hours. When he entered Lyras house, he was surprised to see everyone camped out in the living room and a fort to the side. He looked around confused until he noticed Elijah was in the kitchen.

"Brother" Klaus said quietly.

Elijah looked up from his coffee, "Niklaus. Did you get what you needed done in New Orleans" he asked curiously.

Klaus nodded, "Seems the witches caught themselves a wolf, tried to lure me down saying she was pregnant with my child. Luckily, I've never seen her before" looking back to the living room, he asked, "What did I miss"

Elijah filled him in on everything that had happened. Klaus was shocked, there were more children and it seemed his siblings were taking them.

Looking Elijah over, he asked "So you and Lyra are keeping the youngest" pausing, he then adds "Together"

Rolling his eyes, Elijah told him "You know I'm not letting her go. I planned to help her raise Teddy, a second child isn't much different" just as he finished speaking, he heard the pitter patter of little feet.

Teddy and Ellie were walking hand in hand to the kitchen. When the girl spotted Klaus, she got nervous but Teddy pulled her over to Elijah.

Klaus snorted as Elijah picked both up, "Good morning Teddy, good morning Ellie" he greeted both. "Are you both hungry" he asked.

Teddy nodded, "Mommy sleep, shh" he told Elijah quietly, or tried to be quiet. Klaus snorted again and Teddy turned to him, "Bunny shh, mommy sleep" Klaus glared and the little girl moved closer to Elijah.

"Niklaus" Elijah called out, noticing the girl he quickly stopped glaring. Lyra would murder him if he made her child cry.

Bipsy popped in, looking to the children he hurried over to start breakfast.

"I'm surprised Lyra's still sleeping" Klaus said to Elijah. Elijah told him how she fought yesterday, how amazing she was with her spells. He knew that's why she was still asleep.

Lyra awoke to find her son and new daughter missing, she hurried to get up and ran to look for them. Finding them in the kitchen with Elijah, sitting on his lap to eat breakfast, she felt her heart swell for that man. She wasn't sure how she got so lucky but she knew she wasn't going to let him go.

Calming herself, she stepped into the kitchen. Teddy looked up and smiled "Mommy! Look, pancakes mommy" Teddy called out.

Lyra smiled, "I see that baby, are you taking good care of our new friend" she hadn't explained the sister thing to him yet.

Teddy nodded, leaning back into Elijah he said "Daddy Lijah helps" Lyra froze, looking to Elijahs face for a reaction.

Elijah didn't move, he wasn't sure how Lyra would take that. Teddy had never called him that before. Looking to Lyra, he waited.

Lyra smiled at him, looking to Teddy she sat beside them and asked "Daddy Elijah, that's new"

Teddy bobbed his head, "Like with mama and papa, mommy and daddy" he explained, pointing to Remus and Dora's pictures then to her and Elijah. "I have two, can I share you" he asked quietly.

Lyra knew he was talking about the little girl, she looked to Elijah. She was worried it would scare him off, too much at once. Elijah smiled at her, nodding. Lyra looked to Teddy, "You can share us if you want, that would be very sweet of you"

After breakfast, Teddy was playing with the other children. Lyra had pulled Elijah off to talk. She loved this man, and it seems her son did too. Now she needed to talk with him. Entering her bedroom, she shut the door and lead Elijah to sit on the bed.

"Are you okay with what Teddy said" Lyra asked him quietly.

Elijah gripped her hands, "Of course I am. Lyra, I love you and your son. I don't want to take his fathers place, just like you don't want to take his mothers but I want to be with you and be Teddy's dad" seeing the smile on her face, he adds "I also would like to raise that little girl with you"

Lyra leaned up to kiss him. She knew he was amazing.
