The scene starts with darkness, as a nostalgic music box playing in the background. Then, a place that can only be described as Void, fades into the view.

The people with no name/RIDER CHIPS Featuring m.c.A･T [Music Box] ("Kamen Rider 555" ED)

There can be seen two silhouettes of figures standing face to face, akin to that of shadow play. One is humanoid devoid of any features and the other is much more abstract, it can't be described nor understood.

The scene zooms to the abstract figure before abruptly cuts into a line of text "So what do you think, human? Are you interested in my proposal?" The text is white, it's stained and floating on a crimson-red puddle

We then showed the humanoid, It appears to be taken aback, suspicious, then worried. it then opens its mouth and says-

but the scene suddenly cuts to a writing on a piece of paper "I can't believe what you said... I can wish for everything as long as you can fulfill it and that you only want entertainment?"

the scene cuts again, showing the enigmatic figure pulsating, and then the scene cuts again to the red puddle, with the words "Why not? I'm trapped here to some extent. In this non-place, where things will eventually fade, where everything will collapse"

The humanoid looks hopeful but still with a hint of suspicion as it asks, its words represented again by the writing on the paper. "But why me? How did I end up here?"

The Fallen response is represented by the crimson puddle again "Why I chose you is a secret. The latter is because I ripped you from the normal cycle of life and death. In other words, you only have one choice, to accept my deal or you'll be trapped here, as your existence slowly fades, consumed by the Void."

The Humanoid looks at the Fallen, it already has its answer but has one last question to ask. "Then why even bother offering me the proposal? If you want amusement, can't you do everything you want from the start?"

The Fallen, unbothered, said nonchalantly. "Because roundabout ways are fun ways. Moreover, making a pact with mortals and hearing them babbling about their desires are truly amusing for me."

The humanoid is a bit disturbed but it steeled It resolves with a sigh "Then... I wish for another shot in life, a life that's peaceful and happy."

The Fallen somehow looked amused and disappointed at the same time(?). "Another life huh? It seems your greed hasn't blinded your judgment" The writing gives off the tone of being impressed

"Right... I think that's the only right answer here. If I were to wish for something like money or immense power, it wouldn't be any use because I would end up trapped here-"

It then continues as its writing becomes shaky "-and the torment I would go through will be the source of your amusement until I eventually fade... right?" the humanoid shudder, disturbed by the implication of its deduction

"Heh, don't think too hard about it. Anyway, let's reincarnate you" The Fallen reaches out its hand(?) and the humanoid figure glows.

"Thanks... I will get my peaceful life right?" it says in gratitude

...

The fallen don't respond, somehow one could tell it's smirking

"a peaceful life, right?" the humanoid worried

"No, where's the fun in that?! Didn't I tell you I want entertainment? but don't worry, I'll still reincarnate you... the world I send you will be the world you are familiar with, use that knowledge and you might get what you want"

"Wh-What! Y-You can't do that!" the humanoid says, clearly panicked and shocked

The fallen chuckles(?) "Of course I can. I suggest you ask me a question now, it's your last chance"

"T-Then tell me, what is the world's name?!" the humanoid says as its body barely has any form left.

"The world of Remnant. Entertain me well, mortal"

"Wai-" Before the humanoid can say anything, its figure fades as the light goes out and the scene turns pitch black

With the last message of the fallen written in the ever same crimson puddle.

"Time to find more souls... After all, a team needs four members, right?"

-INTERMISSION: Author's Note-

Yo, Y2 here. You might already can guess what I want to say but I think it is still important to mention them here.

1. English is not my first language

2. This is the first story I have ever written

3. I'm a new fan of RWBY, like Vol.1 kind of new. I recently read RWBY fanfic that sparks my interest in the series (and the series is also going to get a revival so I think it's a good time?)

4. Because I need to catch up with the series and also the fact that I am in my last year of high school, expect a slow, like slooooooooowwwwwww update with a shooort chapter.

5. I'm a tokufans :) (mostly kamen rider)

6. I don't mind some good criticism and fun comments.

7. I own nothing except a few of my oc, everything else is reserved to their original owner
