It was foggy day as a ship sailed in the wide open sea. Two girls stood on deck singing a pirate song as figure was walking toward them. The youngest saw him putting his hand on her sister making her gasp to see him. "Shush now the two of you. There cursed pirates in these waters. Do you want them to hear you?" said the man. "Mr. Gibbs. What is the problem here?" said a man in uniform. "They've been singing pirates. It's bad luck." Said Gibbs. "They're only children. Go on mr. Gibbs." said The man. Gibbs walked off mumbling about women on board and such before drinking something from his bottle. "Marina and I were just fascinated with them is all Commodore." said the oldest. "Pirates are merely heartless creatures on our society." said Commodore. "I believe it's not right for my daughters to hear these things." said Man with long dark curls. "We only wanted to know what is a pirates life would be like father." said the youngest. "That's what Im afraid of." said the man and left with the Commodore. "Marina do you think we'll ever meet a pirate." said the oldest. Marina felt the soft winds whistling to her ear and looked over to the waters to see an odd movement coming out in a far distance of the fog glowing a little."i hope so." said Marina as glowing wave vanished in time as the oldest was trying to see what she was looking at. Only to see nothing but an object floating toward their way making them walked down the deck for a better view. Marina and her sister saw it was an umbrella and looked up to see two figures on a ramp. "Look theres a boy and girl in the water." said the oldest. Everyone looked over and started them out as Marina and her sister watched the crew lay them on a table. "Elizabeth you watch out for them." said Commodore as Marina looked at them and saw something shining. Pulling it out of the girls blouse and saw it was a medallion. A pirate one. Hearing a gasp she looked to the boy woke up grabbing Elizabeth's wrist. "Your alright. What's your name?" said Elizabeth. "Will Turner." said the boy and passed out.
"He's a pirate and so is she." said Marina seeing the same medallion as the girl. "Did you find about the girl's name?" said Elizabeth. "No but the way her hair color is must be Dawn." Said Marina looking at Elizabeth. "What did you two find out?" said Commodore as marina and Elizabeth hid Will's necklace behind her back. Marina putted the girl's in a pocket of her pants. "Their names were Will Turner and Dawn. Marina believes thats the girls name. That's all." said Elizabeth. "Very well thank you girls. Put them in a cabin." said Commodore telling a soldier. Marina looked over her shoulder to see a ship on fire with everyone else. It was the Black Pearl sinking down slowly into the waters.
A woman opened her brown-aqua eyes looking around to see herself in her bedroom. Sitting up straight she got out of bed putting her night jacket on walking to the windows. Opening the curtains to see the great view of the ocean and the docks. "Marina it time to get ready." said a maid with blonde hair tied in bun walking in. "For what occasion Annabelle?" Said Marina facing her friend. "The promotion of Commodore." said Annabelle pulling out a green dress. "I always find it odd how he looks at me." said Marina muttered changing out of her night gown. "How does he look at you?" said Annabelle putting the corset over a white short sleeve blouse. "When I have to speak to him he smiles as always but shows hatred deep in his eyes." said Marina putting the dress on and let Annabelle tied the hidden strings into place. "There shall I do hair and make up." said Annabelle. "Oh no it's fine. Can you please fetch me a simple breakfast." said Marina "Of course. Be back in a moment." said Annabelle and left the room.
Marina went drawer and took her brush out running through her dark brown hair reaching past her shoulder. Twisting two thick pieces of her hair and pinned it then did her natural make up. After that she opened her door looked left and right of the halls closing it slowly. She went kneeled down and grabbed a suite case openin the lock to show a few other clothing like brown corsets that be tied in the front, pants,small weapons, and a locket. Grabbing a pair of dark pants and the locket. Lifting her dress up she put the pants on and hid the necklace in her chest. Marina walked out of her room her fan in her and past downstairs to see Annabelle holding a tray of water with plate eggs and mash potatoes. "Here you go I shall place it in the dining room." She said. "Thank you." said Marina following Annabelle to a different room. Marina sat down and ate while Annabelle stood beside her.
After finishing her meal she was heading out as the Governor walked out of his office with the two maids. "Good morning father,Mary,and Susan. I'm taking a small stroll to the docks for a little while." said Marina. "Alright just remember to arrive at the promotion ceremony." said Governor. "Wouldn't miss it for the world." said Marina walking out the door. She walked past the bakery and saw her Best friend walking out of the store. "Dawn, how are you?" said Marina getting light brown hair girl her attention. "Fine, just helped Will with finishing the sword. " said Dawn as they walked down town. "Anyways excited for the ceremony." said Dawn. "A little but only for father and Elizabeth. After all I heard he was planning to propose to her." said Marina. "They don't look right together. I know Elizabeth and William have feeling a for each other." She says. "I agree but they're too shy to admit it." said Dawn. "I know besides I had a flashback of us meeting the first time." said Marina. "I remember and I want to say thanks." said Damn. "For what?" Said Marina. "For hiding . . . " Dawn stopped her and looked around then pulled them to an alley with one around. "My medallion." said Dawn pulling it out of her shirt. "Be lucky that no one else knows or been ropes for you." said Marina. "I know." said Dawn as they went down the docks.
Marinas Pov
As I talked to Dawn for a while I heard the trumpets and gasped. "I must go Dawn. I'll speak to you after the ceremony." I told her and lifted my dress and ran. Headed there to see Elizabeth looking around and spotted me. "Excuse me." I said passing through the crowd and lined up next to her and fanned myself. "Where were you?" Elizabeth whispered. "Time passed as I talking with Dawn. You alright?" I asked in concern. "It's this bloody corset. I can barely breathe." said Elizabeth quietly. "You could've talked to Annabelle. She loosens the strings a little." I told her waving the fan past my face a little towards Elizabeth. "Thanks for that tip." Elizabeth said sarcastically. Rolling her neck and back Elizabeth was getting really uncomfortable while no one paying a attention. 'Some future husband he'll be.' I thought as Norrington was testing out the sword Will and Dawn made. An hour went by as I handed Elizabeth a glass of water to help her breathe a little better. "Elizabeth may I have a word?" said James heading our way. "Of course. Marina excuse me." said Elizabeth walking away with James. "Father." I said getting his attention. "Yes. Marina what is it?" said father turning around. "May I excuse myself to talk to Dawn." I said. "Yes just be careful." Said father. "I will." I said walking for a few minutes to the docks where Dawn should be at. There she was with a small boy skipping stones on the lower deck with three men talking on the ship. "Hey Henry. How's your mother?" I said walking towards them.
"She fine just been working twice as much in the bakery." Said Henry then looked up at the cliff. "Isn't that miss Swann." he said pointing up to see Elizabeth fall off the edge. "Elizabeth!" I yelled taking my dress off and shoes while Henry ran to get help. "What are you doing?" said Dawn. "Saving my sister meet me in that cave after she's save." I told her pointing to the large opening. "Alright." She said and left. I jumped in the waters then suddenly felt wave blast off through my body. Looking to see my mermaid tail and swam to see a man swimming towards Elizabeth. I lifted her up with the mans help but stopped to see me. "Are you going to help or not?" I spoke as he continued lifting her up to the surface. They couldn't because of the dress to I took it off which did the trick. I rose up and took them to the deck and left as the men came with father and James. Making my way to the cave where Dawn was shocked to see my sea serpent form. "Marina?! How are you like this?" Said Dawn helping me up on the surface. "Let's keep this to ourselves." I said drying my hair. "You never knew about this?" Said Dawn wrapping a towel around me. "I did as a child now come on." i told her walking out of the cave. After five minutes my legs were back along with my clothes. "Lets head to the shop I have your other clothes over there." said dawn as we ran over to the smith shop.
