AN: Hi guys I am finally finished with chapter 2. My 4-year-old did not want to give up the laptop, so I had to edit at night. Okay so the ages go as follows: Charlie 43 turns 44 on the 20th of January_Hermione 20 turns 21 on the 19th of September_Bella 17 turns 18 on the 13th of September. So, I kept the birthdays the same and it is set in the Twilight timeline. Its January 13th, 2005. I made Bella arrive earlier, so that the school date can fall on the 17th like in the book, I think. I get most of my info from google.

Harry is acting like his mind is being poisoned, but im still not sure where he will fit into this story. Ron on the other hand, I dislike greatly so you will hear as little as possible about him.

I want to say thank you to everyone that favourite, followed and reviewed the first chapter. I appreciate the love and encouragements.

Hope you enjoy chapter 2 and please review!

Quick disclaimer: I do not own anything in Twilight, Harry Potter and Fifty Shades of Grey. I only own this plot, thank you.

Hermione landed with a crack in Diagon Alley. She covered her face with the hood of her cloak, trying to blend in with the other patrons. Stray reporters always lurked around this bustling marketplace waiting like vultures for their next victim.

A few months after the war ended, and everyone got a semblance of their life together, Hermione, Harry, and Ron were rewarded with the Order of Merlin First Class as war heroes and an insane number of galleons each. She was now on her way to exchange every last galleon into American dollars.

Gringotts Wizarding Bank was the last place she wanted to visit, but it couldn't be helped. Even though she has yet to make an actual account at the bank, she does make a lot of exchanges. Her reward money was given to her in cash, which she carries with her everywhere she goes in her heavily warded beaded bag.

The Goblins will be every bit of nasty because she has a ban of three years! Which is ridiculous! If they didn't break in, stole a Horcrux and let loose their dragon as a means to escape then the whole damn world would have burned. Ungrateful sods!

Hermione would have laughed at the reaction she got when entering the establishment, but she was in a bit of a hurry. Every eye of the goblins was locked on her person in a flash. The normally silent glass doors made a loud bang in the quiet bank hall upon her entering. Feeling a bit self-conscious now that even the customers started to stare, she quickly made her way to the first available counter.

"Ah, Miss Granger, I do hope you have a very good explanation for stepping foot in this establishment before your ban has been lifted." He narrowed his eyes staring and completely unnerving her.

"Um yes, I know, but I assure you that after this you may well never see me again and I think that's worth the risk of coming in here." She wrung her hands looking anxious. "You see I am leaving the wizarding world to go live with my muggle brother in the States and I would like to exchange all my galleons for American dollars please."

He eyed her suspiciously for a moment then sighed. "Very well then. If it will guarantee your absence for the foreseeable future, then so be it." A look of hurt flashed across Hermione's face, but it went unnoticed. Not that a goblin would care about a witch's feelings. "How much would you like to exchange?" Clearing her throat, she answered in a normal voice, but it came out loud in the quiet hall.

"Seven-Hundred-and-Fifty Thousand Galleons, please.' The whole bank looked momentarily shocked as Hermione placed every galleon she owned on the counter. The goblin seems to snap out of his stupor at the clanging of the coins on his desk. He gestured to another goblin who dragged a wagon behind him. The galleons disappeared from the counter and into the wagon after being counted.

The goblin placed stacks upon stacks of paper money on the desk. " That would be four million eight hundred forty-three thousand eight hundred seventy-two and thirty-one hundredth United States Dollars. Would you want that in cash or one of their handy American Cards?" Hermione's eyes left the money to rest on the goblin. "That would be most convenient, thank you, sir."

He waved his hand over the money, and it disappeared. In its place lay a Black Card and the goblin pushed it towards her with a "have a good day" and went on to doing something else. Hermione knowing she was dismissed took the card stored it in her bag and left as quickly as she could. As soon as she reached the apparition point, she apparated to an alleyway near The Bank of London. She took her London Bank Card to the nearest counter and asked if she could clear out her account exchange it and place it on her new American Express Black Card. The lady at the counter looked surprised but nodded and so my British Pound ended up being USD. Her entire account with her trust fund was twenty-nine point five million pounds. Making her assets on her black card almost forty million dollars.

After her parents died almost a year ago in Australia under the fake identities, she gave them in a car crash of all things she was left with everything they owned. Their dental practice, house and even their life savings. She sold everything and ended up with three million pounds that's now safely stored on her Black Card.

She booked herself in at a hotel and asked the receptionist to book her a first-class ticket to Seattle Washington for around 8 am. Tomorrow she will leave England and all its bad memories behind for good.

Now she was famished and tired. It's about half past six now, so dinner, a bath and straight to bed. A long flight awaits her tomorrow.

Meanwhile in Forks

Charlie's driving back to Forks from the airport after picking Bella up. Even though the customary greetings between the father and daughter were done there was still an awkward silence in the police cruiser. Charlie had a lot on his mind with the two most important people in his life suddenly returning to it again. He was most excited to see his baby sister again. It has been sixteen years since he last saw her—the family's little miracle.

In his, teenage years he witnessed his father having to console his heartbroken mother after every miscarriage. When he turned 18, they stopped trying until our darling Hermione came two years before he got married to Renee. He got to be a big brother at the age of 23. Charlie did not care about the huge age gap between him and his sister, because he knew the pain his parents went through not being able to reproduce. He shared in their happiness the day his sister was born, her first cry had them all crying tears of joy.

He was devastated and weighed down with guilt when the news came about his parent's death. He feels like crap not visiting his parents over the years and by extension Hermione. She sent a letter with their parent's lawyers stating that Bella was to inherit five hundred thousand dollars upon her 18th birthday, and he would have his bank account topped with three hundred thousand dollars. He didn't even blink when the lawyers mentioned the amounts, being used to huge amounts of money from a young age.

They did not have to leave him a cent, because he still had ten million of his trust funds in savings. He wasn't a very material person, but he and Hermione had a very well of childhood never lacking anything and always got what they wanted. He wanted to give that same life to Bella, but Renee took her away before he could tap into his trust-fund money. No one in Forks knows about his riches not even his closest friend Billy Black. He loved having a normal life as the Chief of Police in his small town. If he were in England right now, he would have been summoned to the House of Lords. With his father's passing the title and all that goes with it automatically falls on him. Thank God for his maternal uncle for taking him in after his studies and giving him the Swan family name.

Even Hermione chooses knowledge over wealth, but she is never one to compromise on quality. Even the letter she sent me reeked of money. She is a lady after all, in the literal sense and appreciates her wealth more than revel in it… We were raised wealthy but were taught to be humble. His daughter was the same as him and Hermione thanked God for that. What worries him the most is how his daughter and sister will get along being almost in the same age group.

"Bells, I have been wanting to tell you something since your mom told me you are going to stay with me indefinitely." He kept his eyes on the road not wanting to gauge her reaction. Bella on the other hand looked a bit sceptical as if a bomb was about to burst. "Uh, what is it Cha-Dad?" remembering not to call her father by his name to his face.

"Your aunt Hermione is also moving in with us. I am not sure as to when she will arrive, but she sent me a letter she will be coming to start a new life in Forks."

"Oh, it's cool dad, I don't mind." She wouldn't even have to interact much with her aunt, because of the huge age difference. "Yes well, you would have to share a room. Just until Hermione finds a suitable place of her own. Could you handle that Bells?" She looked a bit shocked for a moment and then frowned. "Do you think it wise for a grown woman to be bunking with a teenager, Dad? Not that I mind, but wouldn't your room be better suited for her."

He gave her a sideways glance and then cleared his throat. "Uhm yes about that. Hermione is only twenty-one years old, and she turns twenty-two in September. She was like my parent's little late miracle. They always had difficulty having children. Even they were surprised when Hermione was born. I was considered an only child before then." Again, she had a look of shock on her face. This was the first time she heard Charlie talk so much.

"So basically, I have an aunt that could be considered my sister. Oh, that's just great. At least I would not have to worry about her going to school with me, because she is way past that age." thank goodness for small miracles, she thought.

"Well about that…"

She gasped. "Please Dad No!"

"She will be filling in as the new English teacher until they find a replacement. She has all the right credentials, and she is well-spoken in the language. So, you will be seeing more of her than I will... I know you two will get along well. You two are similar and you almost look identical, just the different hair." He took out a picture in the glove box department and handed it to her. It was a photo of a petite girl with a mountain of long sleek caramel curls framing a small face that reached her tiny waist that models would kill for. She had the same pale complexion as Bella and was dressed in a standard school uniform. She was standing between an elderly couple who had their arms wrapped around her waist. They were all laughing for the camera, standing in front of a brick mansion. 'Was that her grandparent's place? No, it couldn't be. They were a middle-class family.

"That was taken just a year before my parents died. They were seeing her off on her last year of schooling." he had a slight crack in his voice.

"She is beautiful Dad and if she is willing then I would like to get to know her as my aunt and a friend." Better for her to not make an enemy of her aunt who's also her new English teacher.

Charlie quickly rubbed at the tear that wanted to escape unchecked. He knew Bella would do the sensible thing. Hermione is also over the moon to get to know her niece and she already sounded overprotective of her on the phone call they had a few days ago. So now he just had to tell his best friend that his little sister was coming to stay with him. Then all the important people in his life know about Hermione's coming. Then he could breathe a little bit easier.

"So, Dad, any more surprises I need to know about?" she said in a playful tone.

He chuckled a bit. "Oh yes. Your Grandparents left you five hundred thousand dollars in their will. You will have access to it when you turn eighteen."

She was shocked for the third time in this car ride, and she never thought it would be possible. "Dad, I didn't know you were the one for jokes." she chuckled hollowly

"But I'm not joking. Your grandparents did leave you that money." Just as he said that they turned into the driveway of their home. He climbed out and took the bags out of the booth ready to go inside the house. Bella was still sitting in the passenger seat looking lost. He tapped on the window to get her attention and motioned for her to get out and inside the house. "Come on bells. I will show you your room and then we can go get something to eat."

"Alright, that would be great, but I want some answers too." She followed him inside and upstairs to a purple-decorated room. "Naturally" he sighed.

He gestured around the room. " Purple is okay right?"

"Purple's cool."

There were two ¾ beds with a nightstand separating the two. One cupboard meant for clothes and one chest of drawers. One study table with an out-of-date computer and chair. A window opposite the farthest bed gives her a view of a huge tree and a thick forest. 'I guess we will be doing a lot of sharing' she thought bitterly. There was an awkward silence for the first time between them since the car ride. "Okay then." and with that Charlie was gone. That's the one thing she loved about Charlie, he doesn't hover. Now to get settled in…

Downstairs Charlie said bye placed the telephone back on the receiver and sighted. Billy could have waited till tomorrow, he thought. But he was bringing Harry Clearwater's fish fry, so they didn't have to go out to get something to eat. Might as well tell him about Hermione later when he arrives.

"Bells, Billy and Jacob Black will be over in an hour. They wanted to welcome you back to Forks." The house wasn't that big, so he didn't even have to shout too loud for Bella to hear him.

Bella came down the stairs but slipped on the second to last step. Charlie quickly reached out to steady her. "Thanks, Dad. But please, refresh my memory of who you are talking about Dad, before I embarrass myself?" She chewed on her bottom lip trying to cover up her nervousness. "There's not much to know Bells. Billy is my best friend and you and Jacob used to play together when you were little and came to visit on holidays. Just be yourself Bells."

"Okay. I'll be in my room when you need me.

Just when she came to the top of the stairs, the phone rang again. "Hello?" Charlie answered

"Charles, it's me Hermione." came the thick British accent of his little sister through the receiver.

"Hermione is everything okay?" there was a pause on the other side of the phone.

"Everything is fine it's just I am currently In Seattle, just arrived by plane. Just wanted to let you know I have landed, and I am safe. I will look for a car and drive to Port Angelas."

"I didn't expect you so soon. I thought you would be here in three days, not that I'm not happy you came earlier. Why don't you take a connecting flight to Port Angeles, won't that be faster?" He suggested, cause waiting 3 hours to see her was long when she was already in reach.

She sighed "I did think about it, but the thought of owning a car and having a means to travel around without bothering you to drive me around all the time sounded more appealing. Not sure what time I will arrive in Forks but it's almost 1 pm so will get something to eat while looking for a car. You can expect me by 6 or 7 pm. And don't worry I know how to protect myself." With a bye and see you later the phone went dead before he could tell her to be careful.

Now it was his time to sigh. He put the phone back on the receiver for a second time in the last 30 minutes. Again, he is being put on the spot. Just hope by the time Hermione gets here Billy and Jake will be long gone. He doesn't have the energy to deal with all the questions tonight. He just wants his sister home safely and to spend time with his family.

With Hermione

Hermione slipped the cell phone back into her beaded bag and went in search of a taxi. Suddenly she had this weird feeling that someone was watching her and looked in the direction the feeling came from and there in the crowd of people she saw Scabior, but when she blinked, he was gone. She started to panic a bit. "Miss, are you okay?" regulating her breathing Hermione's eyes locked onto the man who asked the question, it was a very attractive man in his mid to late thirties with a buzz cut and a sharp jaw he had a black suit on and had an earpiece in his ear. Maybe he was security.

She came back to her senses when the man started to look more worried and talked into the earpiece. "I am fine sir, thank you. It is my first time in a new country" she lied "and the whole thing is a bit overwhelming." She chuckled to hide her fear of seeing the snatcher.

"Sir I am perfectly okay," she said again when the man looked unsure if he should leave her and go his own way. Hermione opened her mouth again to reassure the kind gentleman when a person behind him spoke up.

"Taylor when you are ready." the voice was clipped and slightly sarcastic but without humour. This must be Mr Taylor's boss. She chanced a glance at the man and her heart skipped a beat. He was gorgeous! Dark unruly copper hair, nearly like…She stopped herself from thinking about her past and focused on now. Refocusing her attention on the man standing a few feet away from her dressed in a form-fitting grey long-sleeve t-shirt and black jeans. It contrasted beautifully with his creamy skin tone.

Coming to America was a great decision, she thought eyeing the delicious man. Who was yet to acknowledge her presence.

"Yes, Mr Grey." the man, Taylor answered and nodded to me before opening the black Audi Q7 SUV passenger side door parked in front of her. Hermione's late father owned the same one but in a metallic grey. Mr Grey got in not even looking up from his phone once. Tayler went around the car to the driver's side. "Thank you, Taylor you are a kind person. Have a safe trip." she belted out before he disappeared inside the car.

He nodded again and got into the car, before the car fully drove past Mr Grey lifted his head for the first time and stared straight at her. Their eyes connected and it almost felt like he was trying to melt her into a puddle with his intense gaze. She momentarily lost her balance. And then the car was gone.

What in the bloody hell was that all about? That could not have been normal. That man was trying to impose authority on her with his stare alone. She's a witch so it's easy for her to pick up on people's auras, that's how they know who is magical and who's not. Mr Grey is not magical, but he was something. She probably would have stripped naked if he commanded it. She shook off the unwelcome chill that ran down her spine.

"Rich people and their flashy cars." a random guy muttered next to her. Unaware that he is standing next to a multi-millionaire. People will always misunderstand the rich, maybe that is why her brother prefers to live a threadbare life, but he doesn't have to. Hermione would have to convince him that enjoying his wealth does not make him a bad person. But at the moment there were other things to focus on.

First things first, her stomach started to growl, food. She took the first available taxi to a decent eatery that just so happened to be across a car dealership. After eating her fill and paying she went across the road to buy a new car. She wanted to go for the same big SUV Mr Grey drove off in but decided against it and went for a 2005 Tesla Model S Dodge Viper in a pearl white. Hermione was extremely happy with her purchase and made a mental note to do some clothes shopping too. She needed a new wardrobe before her first class on Monday. Since it is Wednesday today, she still had a few more days to catch up with her brother and niece. Maybe Bella and herself could do a little bonding on a shopping trip. Teenage girls like those sorts of trips, right?...

A bit of a cliffy. This chapter was more for information and background purposes, but I hope it was enjoyable. Did you like the surprise guest appearance? Let me know in the Reviews...
