The Red Rider Goes To War...And Makes A Confession
Nabiki grinned. Why? She had FINALLY got what she was after. Info on Ranma's new girlfriend. Katsura Kotonoha, from a good family, good prospects, big rack for someone her age. But it wasn't who she was that interested the middle Tendo daughter, it was the how she could use it.
Ever since Ranma found Akane cheating on him with Ryu and him and his mom moving out and away, she was hitting a wall with finding stuff to sell regarding Ranma. She made a killing with Kodachi, Kuno, Shampoo and Ukyo when she sold them the info, but she lost a cash cow with Ranma's female form.
But now...
"Hmph hmph hmph. Oh Ranma-kun, you just gave me something perfect to use to rake in some dough. After all, rivalries, especially yours, are worth their weight in gold. Especially when the rivalry for your heart gains a new player."
Ranma was on edge. He didn't know why, but for some reason, he just felt on edge. Ever since he left the apartment he and his mom were staying at, he felt a strange feeling in his bones. He kept looking from one side to the next, expecting to see a rival popping out to attack him, a fiancé trying to jump him, the fathers trying to force him to make up with Akane, or SOMETHING!
But no. No, NONE of that was happening. And THAT is what made him so nervous. He never had peaceful days, not ever. At least, ones that started peaceful and stayed that way. He stayed tense and kept looking around, expecting to fight a new foe, but nothing came at him except the wind.
"Man, I've got a bad feeling." Ranma said to himself.
But try as he might, he couldn't find a reason for this bad feeling. As he reached his school, he braced himself, ready to fight an ambush or maybe Kuno again, SOMETHING so that his bad feeling would just go away. But no, nothing.
"Hey Ranma!" Hiroshi said as Ranma walked up. But he saw the look on his friends face and knew something was wrong.
"Hey, what's up bud?" He asked.
"Yeah, you look tense. Something happen?" Daisuke said as he joined his two friends.
"I don't know." Ranma said. "Does anything seem...off to you guys?"
"Like what?" Daisuke asked. Ranma sighed as he looked around.
"I don't know." He said. "But I just can't shake this...this... I don't know. I've just got this bad feeling like something's off."
"Really?" Hiroshi said, scratching his head. "If anything, today's been pretty quiet. Not a single weird thing."
That was when both boys eye's went wide.
"Now that you mention it," Hiroshi said. "That in and of itself is a little weird. It's been quiet. TOO quiet. Like a regular school day."
"Which Furikan NEVER has." Ranma said as he clenched his fist.
"Where's Kuno at?" Ranma asked. No sooner had he asked, Kuno jumped out to attack Ranma.
"FOUL SAOTOME! Not only do you DARE to cheat on the fair Tendo Akane, but NOW you have the audacity to add yet another woman to your brainwashed harem? I say..."
Kuno was cut off when Ranma nailed him with a high kick to the gut.
"What do you mean 'cheated on fair Akane'? She's the one who cheated on me!? And second, what do you mean, added another woman?" Ranma asked, a trickle of fear creeping into him.
"You...know...very well..." Kuno struggled to get out. "That...wicked witch Nabiki...told me about that new woman you're seeing in the cit..."
Ranma punched Kuno so hard that almost ALL of his teeth went flying out of his mouth and then Ranma dashed off at speeds that would impress even Sonic the Hedgehog! Meanwhile, Nabiki was just relaxing before class started. She was happy to have her money and things were going her way once aga...
"NABIKI!" Came a shouted that filled everyone in the room with the fear of God.
Ranma literally kicked the door off its hinges and straight through the opposite wall. If looks could kill, EVERYONE would be dead right now. Nabiki looked over to Ranma and for the first time, she felt a twinge of fear. But just a twinge.
"Well well well, look what the...AGGHH!" She screamed as Ranma grabbed her by the head and threw her THROUGH the window! Before she fell to her death, Ranma grabbed her by the hair and dangled her like a ragdoll.
"AGGH!" She screamed in a mix of fear and pain.
"WHAT DID YOU DDDOOOOOOOOO!?" An angry Ranma shouted at the helpless woman, scaring her and the other students.
"HEY! What the hell do you...OOPH!" The teacher who walked in was cut off when Ranma kicked him straight through a wall.
"WHAT DID YOU DO!?" Ranma shouted again as he swung Nabiki and smashed her against the outside wall below.
"I...AGH! I don't know...what you're talking about!" Nabiki screamed as Ranma smashed her again.
"WHAT DID YOU TELL ABOUT KOTONOHA!?" He screamed.
"I won't ask again!"
"I sold some info to a few customers! That's all!" She said, feeling her hair being pulled from her scalp.
"WHO!?" Ranma shouted as he smashed her again and again, his anger boiling over.
"WHO ELSE!? YOUR FIANCES!" She shouted.
"YOU FOOOOOOOLLLLLLL!" Ranma shouted as he pulled Nabiki up by her hair and threw her with all his might into the wall of the room.
And with that, Ranma dashed off at beyond Mach speeds towards Kotonoha's school, fear gripping his heart at what the morons of Nerima would do to a helpless school girl like Kotonoha.
'Koto-chan...PLEASE be ok! Oh God in Heaven, if you're listening to me, even if just this ONCE! Please, PLEASE let her be safe! I don't care what happens to me, but PLEASE GOD let her be safe!' Ranma pleaded as he dashed towards his fake girlfriend.
As for Kotonoha, she was smiling to herself as she sat down for another day at school. But as she sat down at her desk, she felt a strange prickling on the back of her neck. She felt...uneasy. It was the same feeling she got before she found out that Makoto was cheating on her.
'No. Ranma-kun wouldn't do that. But, why do I feel so...' She thought to herself. Just then, the wall was blasted in and in came a pretty looking girl with purple hair, brown eyes and wearing a Chinese outfit.
"Where is girl called Kotonoha!?" She cried out as she swung two maces around. Kotonoha panicked as she remembered Ranma warning her about one of his 'so called' fiancés.
'This must be that Shampoo girl he warned me about.' She thought to herself.
"The-there she is." Said one scared girl, pointing towards Kotonoha.
'Uh oh!' She thought to herself as the purple haired girl glared at her with looks that could kill.
"So you is homewrecker who try to steal Shampoo's Ranma! Shampoo make sure you pay for that!" Shampoo screamed as she made a beeline for Kotonoha.
Eeping to herself, Kotonoha dived out of her chair and rolled on the ground as her desk was smashed to pieces by Shampoo's mace. Kotonoha panicked and started running as the crazy Amazon woman renewed her attempts to smash the poor schoolgirl's head in.
Kotonoha ran out of the classroom and dashed down the hall, not even bothering to look behind her because she could hear the crazy Amazon shouting at her. Kotonoha rounded a turn and was about to duck into another room to hide, but she was yanked off her feet. She looked down and saw a gymnastics ribbon tied around her ankle.
"Oooohhh ho ho ho ho! So, this bloated bimbo is the one I have to get rid of to secure my Ranma-darling's heart!? OH ho ho ho! Well this should be easy!" Said a pretty but psychotic looking girl with black hair in a side ponytail and wearing a green unitard holding the very ribbon that was tied around her ankle.
"Wha!? Uh oh..." Kotonoha said as she remembered another woman that Ranma warned her about. "Um...are you (gulp) Kuno Kodachi?"
"OOOHHH ho ho ho! Yes indeed! And now you're going to see why no one messes with a Black Rose in love!" Kodachi said as she Yanked Kotonoha towards her.
Kotonoha screamed as she was pulled towards the psycho gymnast, but as soon as she was close enough, she kicked at the crazy woman's stomach as hard as she could. Kodachi coughed as Kotonoha lashed out with a desperate kick to the other woman's head and quickly unbound her ankle and made a bee line for anywhere she could. No sooner had she gotten away, Shampoo found herself in front of Kodachi.
"What happen? You have homewrecker and you let her go!? BAKA!" Shampoo shouted at the gymnast.
"Don't you call me an idiot you foreign whore!" Kodachi shouted back at the Amazon. "And for your information, I don't remember making an alliance with you! You're as much an enemy as that man stealing implant whore!"
'Implant whore!?' Kotonha thought to herself as she gave an irritated look at the two women who were trying to kill her as she took off.
"Why does everyone keep thinking I have implants? I know my breasts are bigger than normal for someone my age but really?" She said to herself as she ran for the stairs. But as soon as she opened the door, a giant spatula nearly took her head off.
"Found ya!" Said a woman with long brown hair and wearing a blue outfit.
"Now I'll teach you not to steal MY fiancé!" Ukyo cried as she swung her spatula at Kotonoha.
Kotonoha eeped again as she ducked under the swing and ran away from the angry chef. She huffed and puffed as she ran, not believing that this was happening to her. Just then, she found herself running straight towards Shampoo and Kodachi.
"There she is!" Screamed Kodachi.
Kotonoha panicked as she found herself cornered between three of her fake boyfriends' crazy stalkers. She skid to a stop and looked back and forth, not knowing what to do. Just then, she saw Ukyo trip and fall to the ground.
"Kotonoha! Run for it!" Came the voice of one Makoto, who tripped up Ukyo.
"Makoto!" Kotonoha cried as she ran back down the hall.
"Run, I'll hold them off!" Makoto said as he pushed her along and stood his ground as the two crazy martial artists ran towards him.
"Get out of the way, mongrel!" Kodachi said as she pulled out a club and swung at the poor womanizer.
Makoto braced himself as the club smacked him in the head and sent him flying.
"Serves him right." Ukyo said as she got back to her feet. "Which way did that big chested woman run off to!?"
"Back down hall! Heading for stairs!" Shampoo said as they all chased after Kotonha.
"No..." Makoto said as he grabbed Shampoo's leg in a vein attempt to stop her.
"Let go weakling." Shampoo said as she kicked the poor boy away. "You is not Shampoo's type."
And with that, Makoto was forced to watch as the three women ran after his former girlfriend. Hating himself for being so weak that he couldn't help her when she needed him. He let her down again.
Kotonoha panted as she ran down the stairs, hoping that she could get away from the crazy threesome. She ran along the hall, wandering where the heck the staff and teachers were. And no sooner had she asked herself that, she got her answer. She rounded a corner and saw a girl she recognized beating up a teacher.
"I said, where is that big breasted slut bag!?" Shouted one Tendo Akane, threatening a teacher as she punched him.
Sweating bullets, Kotonoha inched closer to any door she could find and hoped that Akane wouldn't look her way. Sadly, she did.
"AHA! There you are, slut tits!" She cried as she ran towards the frightened girl.
Kotonoha ran for the first door she could and locked it behind her. She looked around for something to brace against the door, only to find out that she was in the Kendo club dojo. She panicked as Akane started bashing on the door, trying to break it down. She inched away from the door, looking for some way to escape. It was then that the window was busted open by Kodachi swinging into the room.
"OOOHHH HO HO HO! Nowhere to run now little slut." She said as she inched closer to Kotonoha like a predator closing in on its' prey.
Kotonoha panicked even more when Shampoo and Ukyo swung into the dojo as well. She crawled backwards on the floor, only for her hand to brush against something on the floor. She looked back and saw that it was a bokken.
"Stand back harlots, she's mine!" Kodachi said as she came at Kotonoha. But as soon as she did, Kotonoha rolled towards her and dug her bokken into the crazy woman's gut!
Kodachi coughed out air as Kotonoha did an upwards diagonal slash to the woman's head and then a downward cut to the top of her skull. As Kodachi went down, Ukyo and Shampoo looked in shock. This woman's form was almost flawless. They were told by Nabiki that Kotonoha was just a slightly rich girl from a well-off family. She didn't say anything about the girl being able to fight or use a sword.
"Oh, so little miss man stealer can fight a little." Ukyo said as she readied her spatula.
"Hmph. Who cares? She no match for us." Shampoo said.
Kotonoha took up an Iaido stance, sword at her hip and hand over the hilt, as she prepared to make her stand against these two, no matter how outmatched she was.
'Oh Ranma-kun, where are you?' She thought to herself.
Outside the school, a sonic boom erupted as a red streak crashed into the school through one of the windows. Students panicked and looked to see one VERY pissed off Saotome Ranma, growling like a dog of war. He looked around and closed his eyes, focusing his energy on finding the assholes he KNEW where there. And as soon as he had a lock on their energy signatures, he brought his hands to his side.
"Mokko Takabisha!" He cried as he fired a blast of yellow energy at the floor, making a way straight down to the level his ex-fiancés were on. As he landed, he looked to see Akane trying to bash down a door. She stopped and the two former fiancés glared at each other.
"Oh, look who showed up to save his little sex slut." She said as she prepared to attack Ranma.
"If you've hurt ONE HAIR on that girls' head..." Ranma said, an aura of crimson rage forming around his body.
"You'll what you stupid, whore chasing, son of a..."
Akane never got the chance to finish as Ranma's fist found itself buried in her stomach, sending her flying through the opposite wall. Ranma growled and kicked the door to the kendo dojo down. When he looked inside, he saw Kotonoha fighting against Ukyo, sword to spatula. Ranma looked surprised as he watched Kotonoha push Ukyo off and spun and clashed weapons with Shampoo who came at her with an overhead strike from her maces.
"You good for homewrecker. But you no last much longer." Shampoo said as she came at the poor school girl with attack after attack.
Kotonoha defended herself with impressive skill, but it was clear that it was all she could do to fend off the Amazon's attacks. And from behind her, Ukyo came at her with renewed vigor as she tried to help her Amazon rival beat their newest foe in gaining Ranma's love.
Kotonoha blocked and parried as best she could, she could take Ukyo in a fair fight, that much she was sure about. But this purple haired woman, she was a different beast. Her skills far surpassed anything she'd seen outside of Ranma himself. Kotonoha was a skilled swordswoman, but she was out of her depth taking on these two women who were out for blood.
Suddenly, she was knocked off her feet and taken to the ground. She yelped as she rolled on the ground and as Shampoo and Ukyo attacked her, trying their best to end the poor busty girl. But just as she thought she was dead, her two attackers were grabbed by their hairs and yanked back.
"Ranma-kun!" Kotonoha cried in relief as her fake boyfriend yanked both women back and did a double jump kick to their backs and before doing a double leg sweep that took them both down.
"Koto-chan!" Ranma screamed as he ran to his fake girlfriend and helped her back to her feet. Kotonoha wrapped her arms around Ranma as she shuddered.
"Ranma-kun." She said, as Ranma rubbed her back.
"It's okay. I'm here." He said.
"RANMA!" Came the voice of Ukyo as she got back up, glaring at the man that was promised to her.
"Get away from that..."
"Say ONE MORE WORD! I dare you!" Ranma shouted back at his onetime best friend.
"Why do you even CARE!? She's NOT your FIANCE! I AM!" Ukyo screamed as she charged at Ranma.
Ranma growled and ran to intercept Ukyo's charge, caught her wild swing and used her own momentum to throw her across the dojo.
"NO YOU'RE NOT, YA CRAZY BITCH!" Ranma shouted.
"That right! I'm your fiancé!" Shampoo shouted, only to get struck by Kotonoha's bokken.
"He DOESN'T LIKE YOU!" She shouted at the purple haired woman. "I'm pretty sure he doesn't like either of you at this point."
"No. I don't. And I never did." Ranma said as he ran to Shampoo and kicked her hard in the head, sending her flying.
"Are you ok?" Ranma asked. Kotonoha panted as she nodded her head.
"Hai. I'm alright...LOOK OUT!" She screamed as she pointed behind him and a snarling Ukyo came charging at them both.
Ranma stood between his old friend and his fake lover and took Ukyo's tackle as she tried to mount him. Ranma didn't fight the momentum but rolled with it and used his leg to kick throw Ukyo into the back wall of the dojo.
"Ukyo, stop!" Ranma said. Ukyo growled as she got back up and tried to swipe at Ranma.
"NO! I'M YOUR FUCKING FIANCE! WHY CAN'T YOU JUST ACCEPT THAT AND BE WITH ME!" She screamed as she swung her spatula at Ranma only for him to avoid her every swing.
Ranma, having had enough, leapt over Ukyo's next swing and back kicked her in the back of the head. Ukyo's eyes rolled up and she stumbled to the floor. Ranma landed back on the ground and looked to the scared girl that he dragged into this whole mess.
"RANMA!" Came a voice that made Ranma pale as the wall of the dojo exploded and out came Ryoga, charging straight at Ranma!
"Ryoga!? OOPH!" Ranma cried as he was tackled by the lost boy and slammed into the opposite wall.
"How could you cheat on Akane with some hooker off the street!?" Ryoga cried out in rage as he tried to slam his elbow into Ranma's face. Ranma growled as he managed to raise his arm just in time to block Ryoga's attack.
"You are a simp of an IDIOT!" Ranma retorted as he kicked at Ryoga's knee and slammed his archrival into the wall behind him before twisting the lost boys' arm into a painful lock.
"Akane cheated on ME you moron!" Ranma shouted in his ear.
"LIAR!" Ryoga shouted back as he twisted out of Ranma's lock and threw him off before striking at him with punches and kicks.
"You cheated on Akane and then ran off with some slut from out of town! And now here you are, shacking up with her again! And beating up poor Akane while you're at it!"
Ryoga punched with his left and kicked low with his right before doing a right jab and attacking with a left knee strike. Ranma blocked the punch, checked the low kick, parried the jab and spun out of the way of the knee before going into a low spinning kick that caught Ryoga off guard.
"Ranma-kun..." Kotonoha said as she prepared to run and help Ranma, only to be stopped by Ukyo tripping her up.
"Oh, no you don't." She said as she got back up and tried to go for Kotonoha's throat. "You took my Ran-chan from me. He was supposed to be MINE! I made sure that he and that bitch Akane wouldn't get married! I made sure he couldn't get NEAR any other girls! HE IS MINE! AND YOU'RE GETTING IN THE WAY!"
Ukyo screamed at the top of her lungs and tried to strangle the poor girl. Kotonoha managed to buck her hips and throw Ukyo off in and scrambled to her feet and readied her bokken as she stared down the crazy chef.
"Look, you just admitted to torturing and sabotaging Ranma-kun's life just so you can have him for yourself. You're as bad as that purple haired girl, that woman with the horrible laugh, and even that crazy psycho woman. You're just a horrible person!" Kotonoha said as she as she took a ready stance.
"No, I'M HIS FUCKING FIANCE!" Ukyo screamed as she charged at Kotonoha, spatula clashing with wooden sword.
Kotonoha, went high but switched to a right side strike to the ribs when Ukyo blocked it. Ukyo grunted as she swung wildly at the surprisingly skilled Iaido practitioner. Kotonoha blocked and parried the chef's attacks as she looked for an opening. Despite Ukyo's angered state of mind, she still had enough self-control not to let her skills slip up now that she knew her opponent wasn't an easy mark.
Ukyo swiped low, but Kotonoha blocked it and barely moved out of the way in time to avoid Ukyo's attempt to smack her across the head with the bottom end of her spatula. Kotonoha went for a stab and then a high diagonal strike but Ukyo blocked both and kicked her with a strong front kick. Koto staggered back but ducked in time to avoid a spinning hook kick form Ukyo.
Kotonoha saw an opening and struck with her shoulder and bashed her in the head with the pommel of her sword and struck with a right side diagonal strike to the collar. Ukyo screamed in pain as she felt her collar crack. She growled at Kotonoha and stabbed her spatula into Kotonoha's gut and lifted her up and threw her across the dojo.
"Stay. Away. From. My! FIANCE!" Ukyo screamed as she threw her sharpened Spatula shuriken at Kotonoha.
Kotonoha gasped and rolled to dodge the sharpened spatulas and charged at Ukyo again. Ukyo charged too and clashed with the busty swordswoman again. Their weapons clashed as they took turns swinging at each other. Strike, block, dodge, parry. The two women seemed almost evenly matched as they fought for different reasons. One to take back what she thought was hers and the other to protect herself and the man that had stumbled into her life.
Kotonoha managed to find an opening and struck down hard on Ukyo's hands, causing her to drop her spatula. Kotonoha struck again, this time at Ukyo's neck and then struck again at the collar she hit earlier and then to the head, knocking Ukyo out.
"He's not your fiancé. He's MY boyfriend!"
As the two girls were duking it out, Ranma and Ryoga were having it out. Ryoga did a front kick and then a one-two punch combo, but Ranma managed to parry them. He then struck with a backfist and then side kick, knocking his rival back. Ranma then went for a side kick to jump back kick and then a tornado kick.
Ryoga ate the first two kicks but as Ranma went for the tornado kick, Ryoga leaned back and then charged at Ranma and nailed him with a hook to the head. Ranma staggered and then dive rolled away as Ryoga came at him again. Ranma then rolled on the ground and did a crouching high kick from the ground.
Ryoga was caught off guard by the kick and then was surprised when Ranma wrapped both his legs around Ryoga's legs and took him down. Ranma then tried to put Ryoga in a leg lock, but the lost boy got out in time and tried to go for his own grappling lock.
Ranma did a rolling throw and tossed his rival aside as he got up and glared at his rival as Ryoga did the same. They got up and circled each other before Ranma charged at Ryoga, attacking with a front flipping axe kick that Ryoga dodged. Ryoga lashed out with a back fist and round house kick, catching Ranma with the kick.
Ranma grunted in pain as Ryoga struck with a right punch to the chest. Ranma bent over and from the punch as Ryoga grabbed him and kneed him over and over again. Ranma turned his head to avoid getting his nose smashed and then used his elbow to smash Ryoga's knee and then took a shot at Ryoga's crotch.
Ryoga gasped in pain as Ranma took this opportunity to tackle Ryoga to the ground. He rolled away and shook his head to get the pain out. He glared at Ryoga as he got up.
"Cheap shot, asshole." Ryoga said. Ranma smirked.
"Yeah well, you've taken plenty over the years. Payback's a bitch. And so is your precious Akane. And you can have her. I'm sure Ryu already gave her plenty of expriance." He said with a grin.
Ryoga growled and charged at Ranma at Ranma again. Ranma did a back handspring, kicking Ryoga in the chin as he flipped back to his feet. Ranma looked at his rival and smirked before charging at him.
Ranma did a jump spinning back kick, sending the lost boy flying backwards. Ranma then rushed into an Amaguriken barrage of attacks, forcing Ryoga to defend as best he could. Seeing an opening, Ryoga when forward, blocking Ranma's punch and elbowing him in the chest before trapping Ranma's arm in a figure 4 lock.
Ranma screamed in pain as he threw a wild punch to Ryoga's face. Five punches later, Ranma shot a low kick to Ryoga's knee and then grabbed his hair before jumping up and delivering double mule kick to his chest. Ranma flipped back to his feet and rushed Ryoga again, but this time Ryoga managed to nail Ranma with a front thrust kick and then a spinning back kick.
Ranma stumbled and barely had enough time to dive roll away from Ryoga's axe kick. As soon as Ranma was back to looking at the lost boy, he rolled towards the charging Ryoga and lashed out with a crouching side kick, back kick, and then a cartwheeling kick. Ranma got back up and punched at Ryoga, but he blocked and uppercutted Ranma's stomach and chin before back fisting him in the face.
Ryoga came at him again, but Ranma blocked his punch and elbowed him in the chest, then did a takedown before locking Ryoga in an armbar. Ryoga screamed as Ranma applied pressure, a few more seconds and this bastard's arm would break in two. But before it did, Ryoga managed to blast Ranma's leg with a small blast of ki.
Ranma yelled but then released Ryoga and rolled away. Ryoga growled as he got up and went for Ranma again, only to run right into a handstand kick. Ranma landed painfully, and then brought his hands together and charged up an orb of golden ki.
"Mokko Takabisha!" He cried as he fired his signature blast of energy at Ryoga.
Ryoga took the blast full in the face, flying backwards until he was blasted through the wall. Ranma panted as he gripped his burnt leg in pain.
"MAN! I hate that little bastard." Ranma said as he tried to get back to his feet.
"He's not your fiancé! He's MY BOYFRIEND!"
That last sentence caught Ranma's attention and caused him to turn around. He looked and saw a panting Kotonoha standing over the body a beaten Ukyo. Ranma blushed as he realized what Kotonoha just said. Did she really just call him her boyfriend?
"Uh...Kotonoha...?" Ranma asked. Kotonoha blushed and turned to Ranma as she realized what she just said.
"Um...uh...Ranma-kun...I..."
"RANMA!"
Before either of them could finish their thoughts, Ryoga came charging out of the hole in the wall and tackled Ranma straight through the other side of the dojo.
"RANMA-KUN!" Kotonoha screamed in a panic as she rushed after Ranma.
Ranma forced a back roll throw to get the charging bull known as Ryoga off of him and as soon as they both got up, Ranma hit him with flying side kick that sent the both of them out through a window. Ryoga clutched at Ranma's leg and pulled him into a punch, but Ranma parried it and used his Jeet Kune Do skills to parry, counter punch and trap Ryoga's arm before doing several spinning kicks to his head and chest.
"I've always wanted to do this..SHORYUREPPA!" Ranma cried as he did a jumping uppercut that sent both of them into the air. He kept spinning and punching, sending them higher and higher.
At the peak of their ascent, Ranma flipped and did a double hammer fist to Ryoga's head before doing another flip and did an axe kick that sent him fling to the ground. Ranma then fired another Mokko Takabisha that finally put the ragging boy down for the count. But just to make sure, Ranma propelled himself down and slammed his feet into the downed boy, knocking the air out of him and sending him even further into unconscious.
"And stay down you good for nothing pig bastard!" Ranma shouted at his rival as he got up and took a couple of deep breaths to try and calm himself down.
"AAAAHHHHH! RANMA-KUN!"
Ranma's head snapped up as he heard the faint sound of Kotonoha's voice as he looked over to the window he and Ryoga fell out of. He focused his senses and sensed...
"No...NO!"
Back in the dojo, Kotonoha was about to run and try to help Ranma, but then someone grabbed her from behind and threw her across the dojo. Kotonoha shook her head and looked to see none other than Tendo Akane panting and glaring at her.
"Now I've got you, you stuck up bitch." Akane said as she stomped over to her, an aura of rage came off of her in waves.
"You thought you could march around with Ranma like his newest bitch and NOT get drawn into this!? Well GUESS WHAT!?" She said as she cracked her knuckles.
"You date that asshole, you get beat to a pulp! It's the price of dating Ranma!" She said, only to barely avoid getting whacked by Kotonoha's bokken.
"At least I don't go around hatting him one minute and then getting jealous of any girl he dates the next." Kotonoha said as she back rolled to her feet.
"And I've seen assholes, and Ranma-kun is NOT ONE OF THEM!" She said as she tried to attack the angry tomboy. Akane chopped the bokken in half and kicked Kotonoha hard, sending her flying into a wall.
"Pshh, please! Ranma is a two timing bastard!"
"Takes one to know one." Kotonoha said, only to be punched several times before grabbing her by the throat.
"If he gets to fool around with whatever pair of legs walks his way then so should I!" Akane screamed as she squeezed HARD!
"And if he thinks he can just run off with some big tittied slut and live happily ever after? NOT HAPPENING! If I have to live with him as a fiancé and be miserable for the rest of my life, then HE HAS TO BE MISERABLE TOOOOOO!" Akane screamed as she squeezed hard on Kotonoha's throat.
Kotonoha gasped and tried desperately to peel the hands from her throat, but to no avail. She beat and kicked at the angry woman, but Akane's rage and adrenaline dumbed her to whatever Kotonoha did. She managed to swipe at Akane's eyes and her grip slipped enough for Kotonoha to take a deep breath.
"AAAAAHHHHH! RANMA-KUN!" She screamed. It was all she managed to scream as Akane reapplied her grip.
"Shut up and die already!" Akane screamed.
"YOU DIE YOU BITCH!"
Akane looked behind her and saw a red blur as Ranma smashed his fist into her nose. Akane screamed and let go of Kotonoha as Ranma grabbed Akane by the head and smashed her face with his elbow before using two other elbow strikes to break Akane's arms at her own elbows and then stomping hard on her knees, breaking them and leaving her on the floor.
"AND STAY AWAY FROM KOTO-CHAN!" Ranma said as he punched Akane one last time, knocking her out. Ranma huffed and looked to Kotonoha, who was panting hard as she tried to catch her breath.
"Koto-chan!" Ranma said as he went to her and hugged her close.
"Ranma-kun!" She said as she hugged him back. Clutching him hard as she cried into his chest.
Ranma held her tight. Tighter than he'd ever hugged anyone in his life. Ranma let tears of relief fall from his own eyes as he stroked Kotonoha's back to calm her down. All the while, Ranma hated himself for letting this poor girl get caught up in his mess of a life.
Not too long after, Yukika and the police arrived and dragged the wanna be assassins off to jail. Yukika looked to Ranma and the girl that he felt responsible for. She sighed. She and Nodoka were really hoping that Ranma and this Kotonoha girl would end up together for real, but knowing Ranma, after this, he might just run away and leave her. Keeping her away form him and the nutcases that always want to mess up his life.
Ranma looked at Kotonoha and sighed. He knew what he had to do. And he didn't like it. He took a deep breath and walked over to her. Kotonoha looked at Ranma and knew from the look on his face that he was not happy about something.
"Kotonoha, we need to talk." He said.
"What is it Ranma-kun?" She asked. Ranma took a deep breath.
"This whole fake relationship thing was a bad idea." He said, deciding to rip the bandage off as fast as he could. "We need to stop seeing each other."
"Wait...what?" Kotonoha asked.
"Kotonoha, I can't stand seeing you in danger again! You almost got killed by almost all the maniacs in my life simply because we faked going out. I..I...I can't stand seeing you in danger. I won't let this happen again, I won't!" He said. He started to tear up as he turned his back on her.
"Wait, Ranma-kun!" Kotonoha said as she reached out for him.
"DON'T!" He said. "Just...just don't. You'll be safer without me in your life. I'm sorry. Goodby."
"Ranma-kun!" Kotonoha cried as Ranma ran away.
The poor girl reached out for Ranma but he got away. Kotonoha started to tear up herself as Ranma ran away. Yukika sighed as she went after Ranma, if he wanted to run away form a good girl like this one, then he was going to have to do it over her dead body.
Ranma turned a corner and sighed as he panted for breath. His heart ached, why, he couldn't figure out. Yes, he cared about Kotonoha, yes, he was scared to death of her getting killed. Did he...
"No. No, I don't love her. I mean..."
"Sounds like you at least like her."
Ranma's head snapped up and he turned and saw Yukika walking up to him with that knowing smile of hers. Ranma sighed as he dried his eyes and turned to face her.
"Hey Yukika." He said. "Look, yeah I like her a little..."
"I'd say more than a little." Yukika said. "I mean, you ran all the way to a different town at speeds faster than a dang jet plane. You beat the tar out of your archrival, who somehow disappeared by the time we arrived, and broke the limbs of your ex-fiancé enough to put her in the hospital for a while. In all the time I've known you, you've never done that before."
Ranma sighed.
"Look, I know..."
"No, you don't." Yukika cut him off. "If you did, you'd know that that girl is slowly but I'm for damn sure, is falling in love with you."
"What?" Ranma said. "Come on, now you're just being hopeful."
"Hopeful?" Yukika laughed. "Your mother is hopeful, I'm just noticing that for a couple of people who claim to be in a fake relationship, you sure showed her around a lot of your favorite hot spot on your fake dates. Not only that, but she sure seemed to care a lot about you. I mean, defended your honor against those women who claimed to have dibs on you? Sounds like something someone who likes you would do."
Ranma blushed as he tried to rebuke the red-haired girls' words.
"Uh..."
"Come on Ranma. You can't honestly say that you don't find that girl cute and hot. Come on." Yukika said. Ranma sighed as he sat on the ground.
"Ok, maybe I do." He said. "But what's the point? I mean, as soon as she and I start going out for real, who knows what other psychos will attack her!? I mean, you saw what happened here! She almost got killed BECAUSE OF ME! She could have DIED!"
Ranma dropped his head as he tried to get himself together.
"I...I just want her to be safe." He said. Yukika sighed and sat down next to Ranma and placed a hand on his shoulder.
"Look Ranma, I know you worry about everyone but yourself first, and I both admire and respect you for that. But you need to know that you are allowed to be happy. Forget those bastards. Forget those idiots who call themselves your fiancés and just try and be a little selfish. That girl fought off four lunatics and managed to beat two of them. She's not helpless. But I'm willing to bet that she would be broken hearted if the man who nearly tore down a whole school to save her just up and walked out of her life."
Ranma sighed as he took in Yukika's words. Yeah, these last few 'fake dates' with Kotonoha were some of the happiest times he'd had in a long while. And yeah, she was beautiful and she made him smile and...and...
"Come on, just admit it. You can tell your aunt Yukika." She said. Ranma smiled.
"Ok, maybe I like her a little. Ok, maybe a lot." He admitted, causing Yukika to smile.
"There it is." She said as she got up and slapped Ranma on the back.
"Now get back on your feet, go to your girl, and tell her that you want to make this an OFFICIAL relationship. Your aunt Yukika has spoken." She said. Ranma blushed again as he got back up.
"Ok. I'll get go." He said. "And just for the record, you are the only sane person I know who isn't at least slightly in it for some ulterior motive."
"Thanks. Now get moving while I drag your former love interests off to the hospital and/or jail. Good luck, lover boy." Yukika said as she pushed him off.
Back with Kotonoha, the poor girl started to cry. Things were going so well with Ranma, but then these psychos busted into her school and tried to kill her. She understood why Ranma wanted to break things off with her, but it hurt. It really hurt.
She loved him. She loved being with him, she loved...loved? Did she love him? She liked him sure, but...She rubbed her eyes and adopted a steely expression. She ran in the direction Ranma took off in, hoping he didn't use his superhuman speed to run off in some random direction once he was out of sight. Before she got too far, she bumped into someone.
"Hey hey! Is that anyway for a girl who just escaped being killed to be acting?" Came a male voice. Kotonoha looked up and saw that it was Makoto's friend Sawanaga Taisuke.
"Oh, Taisuke-san. Hello." She said as she backed away fromt he young man, only for him to hold her in his arms.
"Hey, you doing ok?" He said. A lustful grin forming on his face. Kotonoha could sense something bad and tried to pull away, but this guy had a surprisingly good grip and she was tired and not at full strength.
"I-I'm fine." She said. "Look, Taisuke-san, I'm sorry but I need to get going."
"Oh come on." He said as he pulled her close. "That was a hepatic thing that happened today. Kinda of puts things into perspective. Don't ya think?"
Taisuke tried to lean in a little closer to her, but Kotonoha did her best to lean away from him.
"Uh...I guess?" She said as she tried to pull away.
"You know, I was always jealous of Makoto for dating a beautiful girl like you. In fact..." He tried to kiss her but Kotonoha pulled her head back.
"Taisuke-san, I'm seeing someone right now!" She said, only for Taisuke to pull her in tight.
"Not from what I heard. I overheard you and that Kung Fu guy break up. I'm your emotional support." He said as he tried to kiss her. Kotonoha headbutted Taisuke and tried to run. But Taisuke grabbed her and dragged her back into a forceful embrace.
"HEY! I'm trying to show you that I can show you a better time than those two." Taisuke said.
"LET GO! I don't like you that way! Let go of me!" Kotonoha said as she fought to break free and Taisuke tried to force a kiss on her.
"LET GO OF MY GIRLFRIEND YOU BASTARD!"
Suddenly, Taisuke was hit by a barrage of rapid punches in the back. Taisuke fell to the ground and Kotonoha smiled as she saw Ranma standing behind the fallen would be rapist.
"Ranma-kun!" She said as she ran into the pigtailed boy's arms. Ranma hugged Kotonoha back and he kissed her head and cheeks.
"Koto-chan. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I shouldn't have said what I said. I...I didn't..I mean..."
"Ranma-kun, stop talking." Kotonoha said as she grabbed Ranma's face and kissed him.
Ranma's eyes went wide for a second, but then he closed his eyes and kissed her back. The two lovers eased into their kiss and lost themselves in their own little world. Yukika smiled as she came around the corner.
"Well thank God." She said as she called up Nodoka.
"Hello Milf girl, this is Police babe. The lovers are official. I repeat, the lovers are official."
"YEAHOOOOO!"
