"Dao Ming Si!"

This time, I see him before I hear him, because my eyes are no longer covered by that stupid burlap sack. I have never before been so grateful to see the beautiful sky and air around me. And I have certainly never been so grateful to see the beautiful pineapple-headed boy walking towards me right now.

"Dao Ming Si!" I cry out again as I get up and run to greet him. The blanket that Mei Zuo and Xi Men have wrapped around my shoulders for comfort falls to the ground.

My legs are still shaking from the fear of everything that has just happened, but all I can think of right now is being back in his arms.

"Dao Ming Si, Dao Ming Si," I cry as I run and tears stream down my face. His name is the only word that comes out of my mouth, because I had really, truly been afraid that I might never see him again, though I had pretended to be strong at the moment.

"Shan Cai, Shan Cai," he is repeating my name over and over again too, running towards me, too, until I reach him and his outstretched arms. In one swift movement, he pulls me in tight.

"Please, Shan Cai, promise you'll never scare me like that again." His voice cracks as he caresses my hair and I hold onto his waist for dear life. I nod into his chest as we alternate murmuring each other's names and sobbing in silence. I don't know how long we stand like that for, but I don't ever want it to ever end.

Because this man is my home and this hug is even more precious to me than the air that I breathe.

Ahem. The rest of F4 clears their throats. Without us even realizing it, they have caught up to us and Lei also has a young police officer with him, as well.

"The police need your statements," Lei says, as he gestures to the officer standing beside him.

I half expect Ah Si to push him aside, since this man is beneath him and our time together is more important than anything. But he is no longer the old Ah Si anymore, and, for that, I beam with pride.

"Yes, of course," he nods maturely, stopping our embrace, but never letting his arm leave my shoulder.

"We'll give you our statements."
