The sight of Shara and Captain Creep – who'd gone far enough to morph Shara – fighting on the ground below and in front of the ship they were all traveling in had drawn all of their attention, and now Marco found himself and the rest of the Animorphs, along with someone the Ax-man had introduced as Tactical Officer Something-or-other, and two extra Andalites who seemed to have been thrown in for flavor, standing and watching as the pair of them fought. Or, at least watching Shara kick the crap out of Captain Creep.

"Well, I think I can say with- Holy crap, was that a rocket-powered pile-driver?" he started, then cut himself off as Shara slammed Captain Creep into the rocky ground hard enough to leave a him-shaped crater.

Or, really a her-shaped crater, since he'd morphed her and all.

When Shara shifted slightly, raising her fists and punching Captain Creep like a boxer, driving him backwards as she continued to step forward to keep pace with him, Marco found himself more than a little weirded out by watching Shara essentially beating herself up. Sure, Captain Creep had morphed her, but from the outside it did still look like Shara was attacking herself.

As Shara dropped, sweeping Captain Creep's legs out from under him and then stomping him into the rocky ground, Marco caught sight one of the other Andalites doing something at the controls.

"Wait, what are you doing?" Cassie exclaimed, and Marco winced as he saw Shara grabbing Captain Creep's arms, jamming her right foot into his back, and brutally folding him in half.

The silent sound of Captain Creep screaming in pain as Shara snapped his spine made pretty much all of the Animorphs – with the notable exception of Slade, who just narrowed his eyes – slap their hands over their ears in an instinctive effort to block out something that they weren't actually hearing at all. When Marco could force his eyes open again, he saw what looked like some weirdly colored Dracon beams firing on Shara and Captain Creep.

Cassie looked worried about what was going to happen to the pair of them, but as Marco kept watching, he saw that the only thing that actually seemed to be affected by whatever kind of beams that the Andalites in the ship had just fired were the rocks that Shara and Captain Creep had been fighting on top of: they were on beginning to melt. Though Shara only seemed to notice that anything was actually happening when the molten rock started sticking to her armored feet.

Shuddering, as he found himself reminded again just how dangerous Slade and Shara could be, Marco turned slightly as he heard Cassie talking to Tactical Officer Whatshisface, watching and listening to find out what might be happening to them all next.

After those beams had fired, doing nothing more to Shara than briefly draw her attention, and give Samilin the opportunity to transform out of the armor that the both of them were wearing – since a broken spine would strain the combat-healing that all Teknomen were capable of, and demorphing would be faster than just trying to wait for said combat-healing to finish its work – but Shara slammed her dagger through Samilin's right eye and out the back of his head before he could do much more than try to concentrate.

Flying back up to the ship, Shara noticed that the hole Samilin had cut through the hull had been patched through some means or other, so she turned her course to the air lock that she, Slade, and the rest of the Animorphs had come in through to begin with. The air lock opened quickly, even before she could call out for someone to let her back inside, so Shara called back her thanks and continued on her way.
