Ch 7
Sivana took Billy's family hostage and they went to the Rock of Eternity. Billy turned and placed his hands on the staff but then Freddy tossed Billy his replica Batarang and Billy stabbed Sivana with it. The siblings ran through all the doors which led to different worlds until Billy teleported them to a strip club, then they ran to the Christmas Village but Sivana came with the Seven Deadly Sins.
Then Billy swiped the staff and shared his power with his family and they all became superheroes.
Freddy, Mary, Darla, Eugene, and Pedro were fighting the sins and Billy flew at Sivana who sent Billy flying into an ice pool with a single kick.
Sivana reclaimed the staff, then zapped Billy with it, causing him to revert to his teenage form.
"No more powers." Sivana taunted as he grabbed Billy and slammed him into the freezing cold water.
"No special suit. Just a regular kid. Your friends can't help you. You're all alone."
"I'm not alone." Billy gasped out.
He thrust his foot out, kicked Sivana in the thigh, then rolled free, touched the staff, and shouted, "Shazam!"
Billy turned back into his superhero form and flew off.
Sivana used his staff to shoot an energy beam that caused a column of the Ferris wheel to break, making the entire machine begin to fall. "Hold on!" Brett said. "To what?" Burke asked. "The bar, you idiot!" Brett snapped. Then Super Freddy plucked Brett and Burke out, also giving them suitcase wedgies in the process.
Wrath charged but Super Pedro sent him flying into a carnival tent with his twin punch. "Check out these guns!" Super Pedro said, flexing his arm muscles.
Gluttony tried to swallow Super Eugene with his gigantic mouth but he was zapped by Super Eugene's lightning bolts.
Greed tried to throw two people off the falling Ferris wheel but Super Darla saved the people and Super Pedro swooped in, kicking Greed off the wheel.
Sloth tried to swat at Super Mary with his huge arms but she kept flying out of the way and uppercut Sloth. He flew into the air and landed on his back with a thud.
Lust wrapped Super Freddy in his long tongue and threw him into Super Eugene, knocking them both down, but was punched in the face by Super Pedro, sending him sprawling.
Lastly, Pride was going to fight Super Freddy. "You probably won't believe this but you're like, the first supervillain I've ever fought, which is a huge deal for me." Super Freddy said. "Dude, I've studied the fighting techniques of every single superhero. What do you got?"
Then Pride extended his razor sharp claws and growled.
"That's terrifying." Super Freddy admitted.
Pride charged and swung his claws but Super Freddy ducked, then uppercut Pride and battered him with a hard right hook that send his head spinning.
Sivana was still shooting the place up with his staff when Billy swooped down and swiped it.
"Gee whiz, mister. Sorry I took your cane. You want it back?"
SNAP!
The staff was no more.
Then Sivana and Billy flew through the air, throwing punches at each other until they broke off.
The two of them also fired energy beams which made a huge energy shockwave as they collided with each other, repelling both combatants.
Sivana then struggled with Billy as they spun around until Sivana threw Billy onto a roof which made his chest hurt a lot.
"Enough games, boy!" Sivana said. "You think a pack of children can.."
"Wait, what?" Billy asked, pretending he couldn't hear.
"You will beg for mercy as I feast on your heart, slow.."
"Are you making, like, some big evil guy speech right now or something? You're like a mile away from me, and there's cars and trucks..."
"I will have the world eating out of the palm of my hand..."
"All I see is mouth moving, I don't hear any..."
"Only I have the power to unleash..."
"Oh, whatever, screw it!"
Then they charged and rammed into each other, making another energy shockwave as they blasted each other.
Sivana tried to chokehold Billy but he struggled and was thrown into a roof.
"So this is, like, the Seven Deadly Sins, right?" Billy asked. "I mean, I've never been great at math, but, uh, the big, angry one, that's Wrath, yeah? And then Gluttony, obvi. Pride, Greed, Sloth, Lust, who I thought was gonna be way hotter, if I'm being honest. But that's only six. Where's lucky number seven? Where's little man? Where's Envy? Is he just scared of me and my family because we're so awesome? Because I get that. Like, the other sins, they get to come out and fight because they're big and strong and scary. But Envy... he's just the runt."
Envy emerged and growled.
"And that's why all the other sins never invite him out to play, man. Because they all know who'd win. And it's not weak, worthless, ugly Envy."
Then Envy came out of Sivana and lunged at Billy, pinning him down.
"Gotcha. Shazam!"
The lightning bolt hit Envy, dissipating him and turning Billy back to his teenage form before he got back up.
"Shazam!"
Once Billy was back in his superhero form, he stopped Sivana's fall just in time and flew back to the carnival, pulling out the Eye of the Sins which sucked back all the Sins in.
After the final battle, the Shazam Family returned to the Rock of Eternity where the Sins were imprisoned back into their statues and they noticed the six thrones.
"Lair!" Billy said with glee. "We got a lair!"
Then they noticed a mysterious seventh throne but they didn't know who it was for.
The next day, Freddy was still bullied by Brett and Burke but Billy came in his superhero form and invited Superman to come for lunch. Freddy's jaw dropped and he was shocked that he actually was having lunch with the Man of Steel.
