Adam and Archer takes a trip back to Pewter City with Adam's dads Friend Jackson. They go to Obsidian Legacy building and meet the CEO Mr. Cobblebare. They tell Mr Cobblebare the info but he didn't believe them. And also Mr. Cobblebare did tell them where they James was. They snuck into Mr. Cobblebares office and took the file of James and they found his office home Adress. Once they got there the chapter ends.

Adam's voice trembles with a mix of denial and desperation as he responds, "You're lying. It can't be true!" The weight of the man's revelation crushes down on him, leaving him feeling isolated and lost in a dark, suffocating abyss.

The man continues to speak, his tone solemn but firm, "I understand how hard this is to believe. But I'm telling you the truth. Your father didn't deserve what happened to him, and neither did your mother. The people who did this are dangerous and ruthless."

Adam's tears flow freely now, his body wracked with sobs as he asks pleadingly, "Who are you, and how do you know all of this? How can this be happening?" The pain and confusion in his voice are palpable, his world turned upside down by the shocking revelations.

Jackson, still dressed in his black trench coat, continues his explanation, "My name is Jackson, and like I said, I work for the world government. I don't know who the person is that directly killed your father, but I do know who orchestrated the whole thing."

Adam's tears stream down his face, each sob wracking his body as he struggles to make sense of the situation. Archer places a comforting hand on his shoulder, his voice filled with sympathy as he says, "I'm sorry, Adam." Through teary eyes and a choked-up voice, Adam asks with desperation, "Who is the person who set this all up? What's his name?"

Jackson continues with his revelation, "James was always envious of your father. He was jealous of his talent and success. Your father, Larry, and James were the best architects in the business. The CEO, Mr. Cobblebare, tasked them both to design the Empire Building, which is standing now in Pewter City. Unfortunately, your father won the design competition, sparking even greater jealousy in James."

Jackson's face darkens as he continues, "James, driven by his jealousy, couldn't bear the fact that your father won the design competition. In a twisted act of revenge, he sought to destroy everything your father built. He went to great lengths to set him up and bring him down, even going so far as to have him assassinated."

Adam, filled with anger and anguish, clenches his fists and asks fiercely, "But what did my mother do? Why did she have to be caught up in this bullshit? Why did James have to kill her? It's all so unfair!"

Jackson's voice grows somber as he continues, "Your mother discovered what James had done. She went to Officer Jenny, but unfortunately, James found out. He couldn't let her expose his actions, so he hired the same person that killed your father to take care of her as well."

Adam's eyes are still watery, yet a determined look has come over him as he asks, "Where does this James live? he's going to pay for what he's done."

Jackson replies, "I don't know his exact residence, but we could talk to the CEO, Mr. Cobblebare. He might be able to provide us with information on James' whereabouts."

Archer speaks up, "That's a good idea. Mr. Cobblebare is the one who initially tasked your father and James with designing the Empire Building. If anyone would know about James' location, it would be him."

Adam, regaining a sense of determination, nods in agreement. "Then let's not waste any time. We need to meet with Mr. Cobblebare and expose James' actions once and for all."

Jackson explains, "Before we can meet with Mr. Cobblebare, we need to get to Pewter City since that's where he's located. Since he is the CEO and his office is in the base of the Obsidian Legacy headquarters."

Jackson opens the door to a sleek red sports car and gestures for them to climb in. "Come on, hop in," he urges. Once the duo is settled in their seats, Jackson floors the gas pedal, and the car surges forward with incredible speed. The wind whips past their faces, causing their skin to stretch uncomfortably, as if caught in the whirlwind of a strong gust. Archer and Adam exchange wide-eyed looks, bracing themselves against the sudden rush. "Whoa, we're going super fast!" Adam exclaims.

The drive to Cerulean City takes just 20 minutes, during which they pass by the Cerulean City Gym, where Misty, the gym leader, notices them zipping by in the sports car. She muses, "Those two boys seem familiar." After 50 minutes in total, they finally reach Pewter City and park in the lot right in front of the Obsidian Legacy Building. As Adam steps out of the car, more tears roll down his face as he reflects on the recent loss of his mother.

Jackson turns back to Adam and places a comforting hand on his shoulder, while Archer puts his arm around Adam's neck, offering support. "Adam, I'm sorry," Archer says, "but now is the time for you to seek your revenge." Adam wipes his eyes and steels himself, replying with determination, "You're right."

They enter the building and approach the front desk, where they meet a woman named Shanda. She looks up and recognizes Jackson, greeting him, "Jackson." Jackson responds, "Shanda, long time." Shanda queries, "Why are you here, and why did you bring children with you. Jackson explains, "We're here to see Mr. Cobblebare. We need to speak with him urgently." "He's in his office? But why don't come now after a long time" Shanda says. Jackson strides towards the elevator, gesturing for Archer and Adam to follow. "Come on, boys," he says. They all enter the elevator, and Jackson presses the button for the 7th floor. The elevator ascends slowly, each passing second feeling like an eternity in the tense atmosphere.

They reach the 7th floor, and Jackson bursts into the room without hesitation. Mr. Cobblebare, startled, exclaims, "Jackson?!" Jackson cuts straight to the point, proclaiming, "I have no time to explain. Where is James?"

Mr. Cobblebare's surprise turns to confusion as he questions Jackson, "After all this time, you suddenly reappear and demand to know about James? And why are you here with children?" Jackson becomes increasingly impatient, pouncing on the desk and shouting, "For the last time, I don't have time to explain! Just tell me where James is!"

Mr. Cobblebare defiantly asserts, "I don't need to tell you anything." Archer takes charge, closing and locking the door while holding a Poke Ball. "Start talking," he orders, "or this office will look like it's been hit by a tornado." A slight smile forms on Adam's face as the situation escalates. Mr. Cobblebare, realizing he has no choice, digs through his drawer and pulls out a file on James. He reluctantly shares the information, saying, "He lives at 36 Plaza Way, west of here in Pewter City." Adam quickly grabs a pen from the desk and scribbles the address on a note paper in his pocket. Excited, he declares, "Got it! Let's go!"

Adam and his companions arrive at the address, revealing a modern house with two sports cars parked in the front. With determination, Adam releases his Scizor from its Poke Ball, addressing the pokemon, "Your death date James." As the end of Adam's backstory is reached, they steel themselves for the confrontation ahead.
