Jamie POV
Knock knock knock I went to open the door it was Sonica hey how's it going I said to her. Fine I'm bored though and everyone seems to be busy she responded. Well I'm almost done with what I'm doing you can wait in the living room I said as I invited her in.
Sonica POV
When I sat down Jamie went in the other room and closed the door. After a few minutes I got bored and started to snoop around his drawers. Then I found a little box looked like one that was used to propose with. That's strange I don't remember Jamie having a girlfriend. I opened the box and there was indeed a ring inside I noticed the ring had an engraving. What girl is he planning on proposing to? I grabbed the ring to get a closer look at the engraving.
The engraving was my name my heart skipped a beat. Why does he have this? I mean we aren't even dating. Was he just preparing very far in advanced was he hoping to skip straight to engagement? It is a beautiful ring though it matches my eyes. I noticed there was a receipt the end of it said no returns so regardless he can't return it and if he change his mind he can't propose to another girl with it. So I kept the ring but closed the box and put the box back.
Jamie POV
Alright I'm done you want to watch a movie or something? Yeah sure she responded. Sonica are you ok you seem nervous for some reason? What no I'm not nervous she said. Ok I responded then I went and put on a movie to watch one that we would both like. After the movie Sonica went home. One day she will be mine I just need the courage.
time skip to tomorrow
Today is a new day Today is the day I'm gonna ask Sonica out I just need to talk to her privately. I walked up to her and said hey Sonica can we go somewhere more private there something I need to ask you? Sure she responded before she followed me to a bench far from our friends. Sonica I've been wondering if you be interested in I cut my self off when I noticed something. Sonica was wearing a ring one that look just like the one I had been saving. Umm Sonica wear did you get that ring from?
I found it she responded. Wear did you find it? She told me not to worry about and said to finish what I was gonna say. Well it's just it looks like one that I kept in a drawer saving and now I'm starting to think you might have done something you weren't supposed to do?
It has my name engraved she answered. So this means she looked in my stuff and now she knows that I love her but she did take the ring does this mean she loves me back. Well Jamie are you going to finish your question the reason for the private conversation? She said to me oh right I just was wondering if you would like to if you were interested in going out with me? Yes she answered. Really so yo do like me back? Yep she responded. So uh does Friday sound good? Pick me up at 8:00pm she said before giving me a kiss on the cheek and running off. I got a date with her and she kissed me I am the luckiest guy.
I hope you liked this one shot. most of my fan fiction's will probably be one shots but some will probably be chapter based just like The Unexpected witch only has 2 chapters so far.
