The Vinsmoke Bride Chapter 4
Lanette and Sanji are having a splendid time together moseying around Saboady Archipelago. The married couple has been browsing around the marketplace and vendors alongside purchasing baby supplies for the ship. There's a variety of different foods here that are quite intriguing. It's doing a wondrous piece of work for Lanette's own hunger cravings. During the time she's sampling the different foods Sanji questions some of the vendors on where to get the best supplies.
When Sanji questions one about where to acquire the tastiest fish, he learns that a shop that is based in Grove #42 is his best bet. He thanks the woman and they're on their way there.
Little does Sanji know he's going to be finding far more than just fish on this small beach.
Upon their arrival, the shop is certainly stocked but is missing its proprietor.
"Hey, fisherman, sell me some fish at your best price," called Sanji, assuming the owner must be somewhere in the back handling inventory or something of the like.
"I don't think anyone is here, My Love," observed Lanette, rubbing her stomach.
A sharp cry of alarm has the duo turning to face a man standing at the shore with a fishing rod and basket in hand.
Approaching him with Lanette on his arm, Sanji said "Hey, are you the owner?"
The man doesn't say anything, simply staring at the calm water in abject horror.
"What's the matter," asked Sanji.
"He's gone," exclaimed the fish shop owner. "The green haired man!"
"Green-haired man. What happened," said Sanji, recognizing the physical description belonging to the Straw Hat swordsman and 1st mate.
"I did something horrible. It happened just now…," said the fisherman.
The fish shop owner then goes on to explain that this green-haired man had asked him to take him fishing since he wanted to do something to pass the time until he met up with some friends later on the island. He needed something to escape his boredom. The fish shop owner had been happy to oblige and directed the stranger to his small boat while he retrieved some fishing gear. The stranger had gone to do so but made an enormous error in judgment on not getting the fish shop owner to elaborate on which ship was his. For Zoro had mistakenly boarded a pirate's ship that was about to descent deep into the depths of the water for Fishman Island and fallen asleep on the rail. The fish shop owner desperately tried to wake Zoro up to warn him about the ship he just got on, but it was far too late. The ship disappeared into the water with the protective coating covering it.
This happened sheer seconds before Sanji and Lanette arrived.
"Green hair, 3 swords, and a belly warmer," said Sanji, asking for further details to clarify whether it is actually him or not.
Nodding, the fish shop owner said "Yeah and he has a deep scar on his eye. Do you know him?"
"Huh. The scar is new," mumbled Sanji, withdrawing a wanted poster with Zoro's face on it. "Was this him?"
"Oh, yeah, this is the guy! Is he your friend," said the fish shop owner.
Shrugging, Sanji said "Well, I only know him a little."
Smacking her husband lightly on the back of the head in rebuke, Lanette said "Yes, the two of them are friends."
Rubbing the back of his head, the fish shop owner said "So I think he's heading for Fish-Man Island like that."
Scoffing in irritation, Zoro said "That idiot! I thought it was unlike him to show up first. I knew he'd do something like this!"
"It's a pirate ship! Maybe they'll kill him," said the fish shop owner.
Waving off the concerns nonchalantly, Sanji said "No, no, it's okay. It's not your fault at all. He won't die. We're lucky to know where he's heading. That aside, can I have some fish?"
"Well, but…," sputtered the fish shop owner.
A gathering crowd at the water's edge brings this conversation to a swift end. Something is happening below the surface to stir the water.
A ship bursts from the water, the exact same one Zoro accidentally stowed away on. Its outward appearance is significantly different than when it had left. Meaning it had been neatly sliced in half all the way down the middle to everyone's shock.
The captain and crew onboard are furious that their plans on journeying to the New World are destroyed. They shout threats and obscenities at the person responsible for this. One with green hair, one, eye, and carrying three swords. One of which is out of its sheathe.
"It's a quirk of fate! You should blame your own fate that brought a plague onto your ship," said Zoro, calmly.
"No, you're the one-," spat the captain.
"Oh, he's back. I couldn't care less about him," said Sanji, dryly.
Sheathing his sword with a resounding click, Zoro said "I got on…the wrong ship."
So this is Zoro…
Nice to finally meet one of Sanji's interesting crewmates.
Authors Note:
Heads up everyone there's someone on fanfiction you need to seriously watch out for. Early a couple of days ago after I woke up I was checking my email and I saw I had a new guest review on my A Dog's Purpose Is Strange Magic 2 sequel. I took a look at it and got a very big shock. Some random person I've never spoken to before on here or anywhere else in my life was basically threatening me. Intimidating and practically ordering me to write a threatening letter to someone on their behalf, telling to stay off of for life or else they and everyone else close to them would be killed, disgustingly telling them to kill themselves. And at the bottom of the message this crazy person wasn't done. Warning me that if I don't send the letter then they would kill me and for confirmation to email them to make absolutely sure I complied with their demands. Of course I did nothing of the sort. Instead of doing what they wanted I reported them to the website, sent copies of this deplorable guest review message to police officer cousins of mine so they could have it on file, and I went to a nearby police station and reported it.
When I spoke to the police officers and they checked everything on the message they saw, that while the address and names of business were accurate the people and their names were not. They agree it was more than likely a scam because of the email address on the bottom in order to perhaps get access to personal information or potentially hack my computer. Despite that I'm still very happy they took it seriously as I showed and told them everything. All the same I'm still very happy that I brought this to the attention of law enforcement. Even though the entire thing might be fake I'm still very happy to have brought this to the attention of those who can do something about it if it was legit in someway. This may have been a scam, but it's obvious these people are beyond irresponsible if they try to goad people into sending death threats to random strangers just to get access to info.
Be that as it may if this does unfortunately happen to you do not send any messages to the email addresses they put down and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND that you bring the message to the authorities immediately whether it is legit or not.
Because it's a guest review it might not be visible for a couple of days as it loads. But when it does I'm definitely pressing the report abuse button.
Just a heads up to those of you who aren't aware of this yet, Email alerts for this website are now only active if Email opts is enabled in account settings.
I hope you all like this one! I certainly did while writing it for your vast enjoyment! ;D
Stay safe everyone. Especially with all of these crazy natural disasters occurring a lot lately due to global warming and climate change everywhere for sure. I swear it's like they're getting worse and worse all the time and it's like officials are simply just ignoring it or pretending it doesn't exist entirely just to go on with their daily lives. Especially those in multi-million dollar companies that rely on certain elements of our planet that we rely on to naturally keep us safe instead of adapting and finding new safer ways to keep in business. There are so many options out there where they can adapt, but they just refuse to see it because all they care about is money. Climate change is altering so much faster than anyone can really keep track of.
So, in light of all this, it is important to live life to the fullest as much as anyone can.
I know I am. ;) See you guys next time.
