Spring Bonnie awoke and surveyed her surroundings. She knew she had been moved to this dilapidated doppelgänger of the restaurant ever since she and her brother were discovered. Once again, she noticed Spring-Trap in pursuit of his next victim. Resolute, she rose to her feet, determined to thwart him.

"When will you cease, Trap?" She inquired with a sigh.

Exiting the room where she had been placed, she scanned the area. Her eyes caught sight of a vent, and she promptly clambered inside. There was an inexplicable sense of belonging she felt within these vents. She couldn't pinpoint the reason, but it was undeniable. Naturally, there were times when the vents were sealed. She harbored no resentment towards the Night Guard; after all, since the second night, he had been resolute in preventing anything from breaching his office.

She emerged and endeavored to remain concealed from the cameras. Occasionally, she would hear a child's laughter and recognize it instantly. It was unfortunate her brother never discerned it. She continued her approach to the office, careful to keep out of view. She managed to get there but never went inside. Instead, she observed the Night Guard as he monitored his cameras, activated the sound, and made adjustments. This went on for six hours. She yearned to approach and converse with him, but she understood that doing so would enable Spring-Trap to draw near, which she wanted to avoid. Nevertheless, it was the fifth night, and the Night Guard seemed to be concocting a plan. After deploying the sound for the final time, he seized what seemed to be a lighter and a canister filled with liquid.

He made his way to the door, but she deftly moved out of sight before he could spot her. Watching him head towards the toy aisle, she realized his intentions. After enduring countless nights of being frightened by Spring-Trap and herself, he was determined to demolish the imitation restaurant and end their existence. To be truthful, she was relieved by his resolve. The body she inhabited was not her own; she was ensnared within it, unable to revert to her former self. Her humanity had been lost; she had died long ago and was inexplicably resurrected. She trailed behind him, aware that if he wasn't swift enough, her brother would intercept him.

Everything was on the verge of collapse. As she had dreaded, Spring-Trap reached him before the fire could intensify. Unwilling to witness another casualty, she dashed out and lunged at her brother, catching the Night Guard off guard.

"RUN!" she yelled, thrusting Spring-Trap away.

Without hesitation, the Night Guard sprang up and bolted for the exit as the flames spread. Spring-Bonnie resisted as Spring-Trap attempted to pursue him.

"What are you doing, Bonnie!?" Trap yelled.

"I've had enough of this! When will you stop?!" Bonnie yelled back.

"I will never stop! Not until I get what I want!" He roared.

"And you'll never get it! Can't you see that, Will!" She retorted.

The fire grew until it encircled the two animatronics. Spring-Trap struggled to push through, but Spring-Bonnie held her ground. She was finished with the horrors, the killings, and above all, she was weary of life. She longed for death. She didn't wish to return. She desired to atone for her errors. She looked at her twin brother, whispering her final words before the flames engulfed them.

"I hate you, William."

Present,

Bonnie woke up in the guest room, slightly surprised to find herself neither burned nor crushed to death as she had expected. Memories of Danny, the boy who had assisted her, came flooding back. She still yearned for death, yet she pondered why she was alive at all. It had only been two days, and he had already done so much for her. He had even revealed her true name: Millie. She might have been reluctant to accept it, but it resonated with her nonetheless. She spent much time muttering the name to herself, hoping it would bring some peace. Unfortunately, it only revived the dreadful memories of the atrocities her twin brother committed against those children. Yet, the name suited her, and she sensed it would remain a part of her for the rest of her life.

Bonnie rose to find daylight still present, an unusual occurrence for her. She gathered that the family in this era differed greatly from her own time. Danny's parents, fascinated with ghosts, often hastily attributed odd occurrences to spectral activities. There was a risk they could perceive her as a ghost and react aggressively. The house was silent, indicating Danny and his sister were likely at school. Then, the distinct sound of an RV engine caught her attention, and she watched it drive away from the window.

Now alone, Bonnie saw an opportunity to explore before their return. She cautiously peeked from the room and descended the stairs, thankful for the railing's support. Portraits adorned the walls, showcasing Danny's family. The size of his father and the beauty of his mother took her by surprise; they all seemed content. A photo of Danny and a girl, presumably his sister, caught her eye—she shared their mother's looks, yet Bonnie sensed depth beyond her appearance. Stepping into the living room, she found it strikingly ordinary.

She cautiously stepped into the kitchen, which appeared normal too. Despite the family's interest in ghosts, there was a surprising lack of ghost-related items. Yet, she sensed an aura emanating from another door in the hallway. Compelled by curiosity, she opened it to find stairs descending into the darkness. Drawn by an irresistible urge, she descended the stairs and found herself in what seemed to be a laboratory.

Yet, she found herself compelled towards the wall, where a massive sealed portal loomed. Bonnie approached, the aura she had detected earlier growing stronger. Could this be the work of Danny's parents? For what purpose? And why did a tremor seize her as she neared it?

"Spring-Bonnie."

She halted, recognizing the voice instantly. Over 50 years had passed since she first heard it. Turning slowly, her eyes widened in disbelief. Behind her stood five spectral children, black "tears" streaming down from their hollow eye sockets like dark streaks. She completed her turn, stepping back in fear.

"W-What are you doing here?!" She stammered, her voice laced with terror, fearing they had come for her.

The child in the center stepped forward, fixing her with a steady gaze.

"We came to warn you," The girl told her. "Your actions have not been forgiven. You bore your twin's curse as a consequence. And now, you have been revived and are dwelling with another person."

"But I didn't want to return! I was clueless about William's actions! He coerced me into wearing this! I wanted no part in his schemes! My only intention was to..."

"To..."

To what? She probed her memory. She was certain she had gone to meet him, yet the purpose eluded her. It was as though parts of her memory had been erased.

"What happened to me?" Bonnie asked, her voice tinged with fear.

"Most of your human life has been taken as punishment for your role in our deaths," The girl explained.

"WHAT?!" Bonnie exclaimed in shock.

"Knowingly or not, you contributed to our demise, and for that, you must face the repercussions," The girl stated.

Bonnie was in disbelief. Was she really being punished for inadvertently assisting her twin brother?

"WHY?! I never wanted any of you to die!" She protested, retreating to the wall.

The girl regarded her silently before continuing.

"To truly wish for death, you must relinquish what you hold dearest. Next, you must eliminate the one thing anchoring you to this plane. And to finally be released from your body, you must surrender all that binds you. Failure to do so will condemn you to eternal life. If you relinquish these things, you will be liberated from your curse," She declared.

"And that boy? Forget about him. He won't help you," One of the boys said.

Bonnie looked shocked; they knew about Danny.

"I..." she began, then felt her strength suddenly ebbing.

She collapsed to her hands and knees, too weak to stand.

"Understand this, Millie Afton: we know you regret your actions and that you tried to save the Night Guard when the imitation restaurant was set ablaze. Yet, we haven't forgiven you. If you remain, your crimes will never be absolved, and the death you seek will never be granted," The girl declared.

Bonnie was immobilized, unable to even stand. She sensed her strength ebbing away. Just as she was about to lose consciousness, she saw a teenage ghost burst into the room, scolding the children before everything went dark.

Bonnie awoke in her guest room, startled. She scanned the room before inhaling deeply. Was it just a nightmare? It seemed so tangible. Suddenly, she heard the door creak open and Danny entered.

"Bonnie? Are you okay?" He inquired, crouching beside her.

"Yes, I think I'm fine. What happened?" She responded, her voice laced with confusion.

"I noticed some commotion in the lab and then I saw five childlike apparitions surrounding you. I enlisted some help and we brought you back up here. Oddly enough, for someone trapped in a spring-lock suit, you were quite light," Danny explained.

'It was all real, not a dream!' Bonnie realized in astonishment.

The memories flooded back; the children's voices telling her she had to relinquish three things to break free from the curse, and their warning that Danny couldn't assist her. Why not? He was already helping her so much.

"Spring-Bonnie, are you sure you're okay? You seemed terrified when I saw you," Danny inquired.

She hesitated to confide in him. Yet, the sensation of a hand on her shoulder prompted her to glance up.

"Hey, no matter what they told you, it's alright. I'm here for you," He reassured her, causing her to blink.

"I..."

Turning away, she found herself unable to voice her thoughts. Danny gave a sympathetic nod, understanding her reluctance.

"Take your time. There's no pressure to talk," He assured her, embracing her.

Spring-Bonnie returned his gaze before reciprocating the hug. His presence somehow made her feel secure.

'Don't fret, Bonnie. I'll assist you in every way I can. Those spirits will realize you're nothing like your twin,' Danny resolved internally, aware of their entire conversation.

Here we are. It took me a long time to write this because I was unsure what to write. As you can see, I finally came up with something. We begin near the end of FNAF 3, where Spring-Bonnie does everything possible to assist the Night Guard. Believing she deserves death for her crimes, she truly wishes to end her life. She wanders through Danny's house while it's empty. However, she encounters the ghosts of the children she inadvertently led to their demise. Cursed to live again whenever her twin brother does, she must relinquish three things to find peace. They convince her that Danny won't assist her even if he learns the truth. Yet, Danny has overheard their conversation and intends to help her regardless.
